The armoured wolf had made it’s way through the lands. Pads sore, swollen and bloody form the many Many miles that had been run. Though the pace had slowed to a trot and then a jog and finally to a mere walk this was only caused by the fact that the body could endure no further hardships that the mind had been so insistent on inflicting.
Beside her was a stream. It had been running for a long way back but was gradually getting deeper and wider. The greenery was beginning to show in the surrounding forest as beautiful flowers and buds and creatures where making their way out of their slumber and waking up to a new and beautiful world. Something this wolf wanted nothing more than to avoid and rebel from. She wanted to curl up into a ball of non existent ness and sleep forever more. The reason? A newly acquired scar that still throbbed on her side gave her all the answers she would ever need to that question. One she would never ask but be put in her place with its retort forever. The water was probably still freezing, it had had all winter to ice over and re ice over to contribute to its glacial medium but now the fae looked into its crystal depths with new eyes. Slowly she stepped towards it and gazed down into it, her fringe falling forward, the tips just breaking the surface tension. Then *whoosh* as her face was plunged deep into the water and then suddenly withdrawn from the shocking liquid ice with a little yelp. It was worse then freezing but this spread a smile along the plated malachite/azure green wolf.
She moved forwards slowly, bracing herself for the cold. Her paws reached the water as she waded in, it was like needles stabbing at her every fibre of being and yet it soothed the bloodied claw marks that tore her side, it soothed her aching feet and cleansed her tired body as it’s frozen tongue lapped against her. Now she was completely in the centre of the water, it splashed about her and the current tugged at her but was no difficulty to overcome. Now, supported by the water her body felt a whole lot lighter. So she swam.
Not far off now was the torrential gushing that was fast and powerful water. It was clear to the fae that a waterfall, her ears twitched. No there were multiple falls and they were very very near. The relaxed and simple wolfy-paddle that had previously sufficed was now not enough and with a new found energy the fae lowered her head, her body streamlined as she dived deep down into the waters. Her mermaid-like tail moved slowly but calculated, her vision as clear as if on land, if not heightened, her entire movement was perfectly adapted to the water that ran across her back. She moved gracefully and soon before her the stream opened out into a small pool, the far end of which full of bubbles as the water from the falls forced themselves under the surface with their sheer power.
The fae was not worried about this however, as underwater the current was easier to avoid so instead she swam over to the waters edge before rising. She then heaved her body out of the water, took a few suddenly exhausted steps and flopped down onto her stomach, paws outstretched and eye closed. Her breathing was heavy and a puddle soon appears around her. Her new ‘label’ faced towards the waters edge she sighed as it once again began to hurt along with every other ounce of pain that ran along her body.

Keith Mood: Scared
“You”
Her voice was harsh and unwelcoming, colder perhaps than the icy depths of the horrid creation not far behind the wolf-beasts pitiful form. She looked weak to say the least and this made her feel strong. She was superior here and this creature was unwelcome among the pack. Unwelcome to her very company…
She had followed the fae from the moment she left land. She was tired and weak from a long journey and despite Keith’s instant dislike for her (purely to the fact she chose water over land) she knew she needed tending to. If that tending turned out to be a merciful killing then so be it.
“You some kind of fish” she hissed through clenched teeth, her fiery red fur like a living flame blew around her carrying with it the smothering and unwelcomed scent of ash and burning wood. She took one reluctant step closer, her head low as she peered down. Her eyes narrowed their black reflections voids focused on the fae as she took yet another step.
Her paws felt like lead with each gap she overcame, the water was closing in on her and threatened to swallow her up. Screaming of death and decay it whirled and spluttered as the waterfalls around them portrayed their fury to not only Keith but to all those who dare deny their purity and strength. What where they after all? Wolves? Beasts? They where nothing and after death they would return to their rightful place among the many tears of the rain and gaping jaws of the fearsome ocean.
She raised her head once more, her pointed ears now flat against her dome and her black fangs peeking out from under their cage. This wasn’t right she shouldn’t have come. It was dangerous here and the water was angry. It was angry with her.
“Listen” Keith murmured taking the last step and closing the gap between her and the fae. She could feel the waters icy embrace as her paw-pads settled among the stone and mud. She was eager to be rid of this place, to be safely away from the thunderous falls so before waiting any response she lowered her head and gently attempted to nudge the fae to her feet.
“Come on now, ill take you somewhere where you can rest…”
(sorry for the not so great post. Its been way to long since i RPed =S cross my heart my next will be much better.)

Soft and gentle padding could be heard far away. At least it seemed far. The water glistened of the armour plating that layered the fae’s back like the perfect orbs of rain. The kind of rain that nestled on the leaves after a rapid shower, cascading from the heavens of the Ancestors themselves.. As they trickled slowly down off the fae’s body and what little amounts that were able to reach through into her short fur underneath, the fae began to shiver. They were calm at first but they grew worse. Grey eyes closed and the tail twitched once more as Shoe slipped into unconsciousness.
It can’t have lasted long because words were now dancing around her head and they were not her own. Shaking still, violently now. It felt like her whole body must be visibly crashing like a flying machine in a maelstrom. Suffering from what was now a very nasty feeling of cold despite the sun, the warmth of which was quite frankly pitiful. Panic then ran through her as the stings of expertly applied pain flared into existence. Her pads, her side… the ‘label’. She sighed as her exerted realisation only made the pain worse so she just lay there, eyes still tightly closed and ears lowered just a little in submission to the pain. Not only this but she didn’t want the creature that had encountered her to know what she was.. After all, it was speaking, it had intellect so could probably read. She hoped that the creature would not complete a circle of her and see. See why she had been banished from her only home.
Wait. That wasn’t right. She was not going to go back to emptiness. There was another near. One who radiated the warmth not only through their flesh but through the seething anger that was seemingly thrust upon Shoe and the great water that surrounded her. The fae lay there. Her sparky personality was just waiting under the skin and if challenged she would be up on her feet with ease.. Well. Not so much ease.. But her mind had finally awoken. It was sharper, her hearing again tuning in to the gushing water, the little fish that jumped and swam, her sense of smell had also cleared. Despite the obvious smack in the face that was the odour of blood. Her blood as it finally clotted. Alongside that, almost hidden somewhere beneath, was the smell of another wolf. The fae that spoke the words that still leaped about in her head. But the voice softened now. It sounded annoyed but forcedly tolerant. Shoe blew out of the corner of her mouth as best she could to try and blow the fringe out of her face but as usual it was a wasted effort so she sighed, a harsh, strangled sound that gave up the untold evidence of the still exhausted condition of the fae’s lungs. She gave up and let the mane fall. The heated presence was upon her. How had it gotten so near without Shoe noticing. So close it was unbearable. It was almost frightening to keep her eyes closed any longer so her eyes opened with a snap. Misty eyes gazed skywards, one slightly darker than the other but not hugely noticeable unless you were truly paying attention. The pupils were large but that was common to this fae and it gave an almost hollow eye socket appeal to this fae. The eye’s however held the sarcy, laid back and happy-go-lucky characteristics that they represented with this wolf and with a slight smile the fae cautiously rose to her white diamonded paws.

Keith Mood: Worried She had to admit, this wolf was as weird as she…
Keith forced a smile back at the wounded fae, stepping back as she reached her feet once more keith found herself taken quite aback. The scar on the fae’s side stood out like mocking laughter in an empty cave. Dear god… she thought stepping around her so that she may get a closer look, completely oblivious to what the stranger may be feeling towards their whole awkward situation.
Keith looked up into the fae’s grey eyes, she saw sadness there but she saw nothing of what the engraved word said. Surely this was a false accusation… although. Keith took a few un-easy steps away from the water edge before wrapping her two silky tails comfortably around her waist. She felt somewhat guilty despite the fact she was here to help.
Keith’s eyes drifted from the she-wolf momentarily towards the waters surface, fish had stirred up the water and although Keith knew this her pupil-less eyes seemed to be watching for some great wave to sweep her in and consume her entirely. To her there was no safety there and perhaps never would be and yet this wolf saw fit to welcome its chilling water. She just couldn’t wrap her head around it.
“What’s your name?” she said, the malice now lost from her voice only to be replaced by a gut-wrenching worry. Keith was judgmental to say the least but no creature deserved this kind of label nor the method used for its creation.
“My uh…” she hesitated, her black voids still running up and down the wolf/fish/armadillo. “My name is Keith, I’m a subordinate here although I don’t sleep with the other members.” She smiled once more before walking up beside the fae, close enough to cover the mangled scar from anyone who saw fit to gawk much they way she had. She knew the feeling, well maybe not quite this feeling but she knew this fae didn’t know where she was. She knew she was alone.
Like a rock Keith was struck in the face, she couldn’t believe her mouth! “Oh” she started gasping “That's not what a meant at all I meant I sleep like, away from the pack. Not in the den. Oh! I’m sorry!” Keith sighed dumbfounded with her own stupidity and debated ramming her paw into her mouth for the remainder of their encounter…

The fae wobbled a little on her feet but was able to hold herself strong. She saw the awkward smile that had been so desperately forced onto the fae’s lips. She almost grinned at this before noticing that as she had rose she had turned and thus put on full display the one thing she had wanted none to ever see. As impossible as that would’ve been taking into account the location of the word as it resided in plain view she had partly convinced herself she would succeed at hiding it. She had not, and the fae had seen it, stared at it, her eyes as burning as coals that mirrored the burn that clawed at her side in the letters engraved onto her body and cutting through armour and flesh forevermore.
A low growl echoed in Shoe’s throat, one that would warn the fae to stop looking or suffer the consequences. But she did not voice this snarl. It died as softly as it had come for Shoe was not mean. She would not bite and claw and growl until her only acquaintance fled. She needed her. She needed this pack.
Her grey eyes then noted the way the fae now walked. Her tails coiled around with unease and defence clear. Shoe stopped and thought. Rather than feel offended she thought something completely different. The word… certainly it was applied to her actions around males but never before had she considered such things with other femmes. She almost laughed but only her eyes showed this. She was if anything blushing at the notion and was very glad for her maw was hidden beneath her armour. She then feared that this femme was scared. Scared that Shoe might try what had labelled herself on her. This was not the case and so the humour died from her eyes as she felt a genuine concern grow inside of her. She spoke.
“It’s Shoe. Umm.. Don’t be afraid.”
She listened as the femme spoke and nodded once she had finished. It was true the feel of an Alphess wasn‘t present in the fae but still Shoe respected her. She liked her too. She seemed distracted however and when Shoe turned her head to mimic the direction in which the fae faced it was clear why. She had heard the fish but never imagined that they would colonise into such an odd group in the water. They were staring back at her so she snarled, sent them skirting off into their own little business once more. The water looked calm to her, natural and appealing and she wondered if she would be permitted to swim in it.. She wouldn‘t ask now though. Turning back to the fae.. Keith. She smiled, her character was creeping back and the smile proved it with the way it curved up more to one side than the other. She felt warm and fluid in movement. She dare not move too much though, she was in no state to test herself for weakness yet.
Her ears then rose a little as the fae‘s did also in alarm. She looked suddenly full of dread and Shoe could fathom why. Her words came out in a tangle. And Shoe took a moment to register them before their meaning finally came to their place. OH! Shoe had to try not to grin but it was barely possible so she kinda let it escape, only a little.
“No no! I hadn’t even thought of such a thing! Don’t worry I know you didn’t mean that. Hehe it really hadn’t crossed.. My mind.”
She realised then why the panic was there. Maybe she feared she had offended Shoe with a reference that sounded so close to the scar that was crossed her side. But Shoe was not offended. She had failed to make the connection herself. She was worried she‘d get yelled at by the fae but she couldn‘t help it, she was starting to laugh. Both in flattery that this fae was worried but also at the relief that she was a nice one. Shoe smiled crookedly as the laughter began to seep its way out.

Keith Mood: Playful She had to admit, this wolf was as weird as she…
Keith stared momentarily, her maw opened partially in a mixture of shock and of gratitude. She was glad this wolf had a sense of humour to her although it was slightly unnerving given the fact she looked somewhat fierce hiding beneath an array of in-built armour. Keith had had the displeasure of meeting a porcupine once. It shuffled along untroubled by her nose and yet before she knew it her poor fragile lips where pin-cushioned, this was followed by an outburst of anger that kept her flailing with this unknown creature half stuck to the roof of her mouth for almost an hour later.
The thought crept up in her unusual mind of the wolf beside her shooting out these massive scales and Keith stumbled backwards out of instance unaware of the fact they where clearly apart of the fae. “They don’t like… shoot at me do they?” she knew she sounded idiotic but the worry was now imprinted and would remain so until she received a valid answer. Although like many things about keith her mind flittered and fluttered and within seconds she had forgotten the massive trouble brewing within her over-active imagination.
Flicking her ears she was pulled back to reality and the high-spirited laughter emanating from the fae next to her.
However something else snapped back like the hoof of a doe kicking her squarely in the forehead. She lowered her head until it ran parallel with her spine and uncurled her tails. She imagined she looked somewhat like a flat rock with legs as she grinned towards the fae, her black charry lips curled upward in a mottled expression of amusement and curiosity. “I was supposed to be helping you wasn’t I?” Keith snickered as the words flowed harsh yet playful.
Her expression changed almost instantly, her ears pricked high as she watched the fae’s half-covered face intently before asking once more. “but, uh… they don’t do they? Shoot out I mean…”

"And the rain falls upward" Haven
”Earth below us Drifting, falling” ”Floating, weightless Calling, calling home” xxxxx Haven stretched out, perched upon a rock that had been warmed by the spring sun. This place, this small bed of grass by the edge of the waterfall had become Haven's sanctuary. The waterfall was loud, deafening the thoughts of others as the brushed against his mind. He could not remember when he had ever been in complete silence, and was it wrong that he hoped that Masina would help him to solve that? Was it wrong that he no longer wished to tune into everyone's thoughts as they all walked silently around him. He felt cheated, just a tad, that they could walk away and let the silence of the surrounding lands be the only noise they heard. No, for Haven, his ears may not hear, but his mind was always buzzing with the thoughts of wolves, prey, and predators. The wild was never a silent place for him.
Stretching his wings out to their full expansion, he soaked up more of the sun, letting it warm his body and thaw what had been frozen during the winter. Spring had to be his favorite season- warm, colorful, and clean. The air around this time of year just smelled clean. There was no other way to describe it. And he especially loved spring here, in Fukai. The waterfalls created a mist that not only added to the clean air, but seemed to cleanse him as well. It was feeling he loved and wished would never end. That couldn't be wrong of him, could it?
It was at that moment in time that Haven began to hear voices. Whether they were real voices of voices of the mind, Haven had been living too long with his affliction to tell. Deciding to check it out, Haven rose from his place, muscles stretching and joints popping. He would return to this place of tranquility, that he was sure of. He didn't feel the need to run, and so Haven walked gracefully over to where he had heard the voices coming from. Imagine his surprise when he saw a half-drowned wolf and his lovely Keith. He stayed in the hidden shadows and listened to and watched them for a little bit- when their mouths moved he knew they were words, but when they didn't, they were thoughts. He was briefly in shock when the drowned wolf began thinking something that Haven didn't particullarly care to think about when concerning his mate.
Stepping out, his red eyes swept over the wet wolf and then to his mate as he strode over to her side. "I would hope that you didn't sleep with the other members, Leelan," He murmured, quickly pressing his nose to the side of her jaw to display his good jesture. He was quite proud to have her as his mate. But his attention was drawn to the thoughts of the new wolf- Shoe. He had to agree with her, it was just a tad bit funny, but Haven didn't nessecarily like it when Keith was upset by anything so he attempted to pull the conversation in a new direction. "So what brings you here?" He asked softly. He hoped that Shoe's reason for coming here wasn't his father like so many other wolves before had done. He hoped that the reign of terror that his father was issuing would end soon.

The fae’s mane swayed with her as she turned her head to the twin trails of little scales that rose from her back. They ran down on either side of her spine, starting from the shoulder blades and tracking right down to the base of her tail where it joined to her hips. Here they moved closer together and ran down her tail, slowly bridging the gap between one another and then they met. She had never given much thought to these dark blue-turquoise things that protruded from her back. To her knowledge they had never come loose, only when she shed her skin would they fall off but that was not what was meant. She realised that they must aid her swimming and for this she decided she liked them. One was chipped slightly by the starting line of the ‘W’ but she ignored the word and chose to call its creations.. Originality. She sighed before turning to the fae once more. Shoe’s smile was very kind. She was fond of this fae and the words that came out from her jaw was indeed tinted with humour.
She supposed it was indeed ironic and funny that the one who had started by offering.. If perhaps venomous help from the start had progressed to kindness and now anxiety towards something the fae herself had given little regard to. Shoe’s tail swayed idly as she smiled her merry smile, bowing her head a little to the fae in what she hoped was reassurance. Laughing softer now she was able to control herself enough to string out her sentence that had been attempted before would have evaded her. She spoke with a smile.
“No. You don’t need to worry there, hehehe they definitely don’t -
Her words were cut short as from nowhere a great brute came out to join them. Never before had Shoe seen such a wolf. She had to tear her gaze away because although he seemed kind there was something about him. He just reeked of power and danger. Or was it… He was somehow acquainted to someone who was those things. Maybe not as much as they should be. Still new to these lands she knew nothing of Lucidity and his grand plans but still she bowed her head to the male before her, her mane falling over her eyes. It was not polite to stare and for this case she would follow manners and keep her gaze to herself. He was certainly handsome and his size made him mysterious. Shoe was not attracted to him in any way beyond curiosity but it was clear that he was certainly a wonder at his own right and she marvelled him. Her smile then slowly returned as she watched the two exchange words and actions. They were mates. Not only was she full of slightly embarrassed joy for the two at such a topic but she was also relieved to be able to prove her ‘label’ wrong due to her lack of attraction to him in the way it would suggest. Her smile grew once more, showing her good natured charm. This smile was suddenly cut short as his words were directed then to her. The malachite fae suddenly averted her gaze, her pads rose and fell, kneading the earth with a newfound unwillingness to talk. Her body must’ve shrank before them as she was suddenly put on the spot. She felt her legs shake under her. His eyes seemed to burn into her while her cuts did likewise, that one on her size clawing with a newfound malice.
“I. I was no longer desirable back home. My name is Shoe.”

Keith Mood: Lovestruck Keith beamed as she discovered the wolf was not like a porcupine, in fact she was so happy with this answer to her idiotic question that she didn’t even notice it was interrupted till havens thick scent rolled over her like fog, his nose pressed against her jaw. She stood in shock, still resembling a giant flat rock however now both her tails found it fitting to point directly at the sun above them. Her expression was completely void of anything except a gaping maw and pricked ears. Her eyes wide she slowly turned her head to look at her mate that now stood beside her.
“HaVe..n” she said half hissing and half gasping as though the name thrashed its way out of her throat. She faked a cough as her tails fell with a thud to the ground and her body (with quite the delay) react to the long since passed nose to her fur by stepping slightly away. She looked up now so that she could give his face the same shocked expression as she just gave his chest…
“Hi” she giggled, her teeth bared In her usual menacing grin, his voice was like a longing howl to her ears, they swivelled like mad picking up even the slightest hum that rolled from his mouth like honey.
“Oh I ah” she stuttered before giggling again foolishly as usually happened when around him. Her voice changed in pitch many times as she spoke. “I was just asking the fish-wolf if she needed a hand to the den” she turned her still beaming face to Shoe to express that it wasn’t an insult, although what the hell kinda wolf was she anyway?!
She turned back to haven with an expression that oddly resembled that of a pup with a thorn wedge between his toes. It took a small time for her body to calm enough to act even slightly casual around her mate, well half mate… wait… she blushed violently beneath her fur at the thought but quickly turned her attention elsewhere.
She noticed now how awkward Shoe reacted to havens simple question and for a moment wondered if the mark on her side really was there for something horrid she had done however Keith almost attacked the thought away. She smiled sweetly before speaking in her usual half mock/half polite tone.
“Whatever you have come here for don’t worry about it, you can start over here. We have all kinds in our pack who have seen many trouble in their lives before Fukai and yet most (she added this with a thought to herself) live here happily without any troubles, no one here will care about anything that may have happened".
She grinned slyly before adding under her breath so that haven could only barely hear. “I mean if this one here can get around with out a problem anyone can” she poked her tongue out playfully before curling one of her long flowing tails delicately around havens waist drawing herself closer. She could have purred she was so happy to have him near and for a time she couldn’t even remember the awful/evil water so close beside them…
“Besides” she added closing her eyes for a moment as she drew in havens thick scent with a pleasurable grin. “Someone as beautiful as you couldn’t be hated long by anyone”
She hoped to the heavens that her beloved haven was thinking the same thing but quickly kicked that out of her mind to hoping he hadn’t been tuned in at the time. She could still feel the butterflies whirl up in her stomach as they danced to the sound of her thudding heart.

Shoe smiled as an automatic response to the fae‘s own smile. She gave a single chuckle as her characteristic grin broadened, she was happy to offer the desired reassurance. Her smile then went a little goofy with shyness and she was once again glad of the armour that would hide her blush so many times, as Keith began to dote over her mate. She had gone all giggly and it filled Shoe with such a warmth and delight for the couple who had been so fortunate to find one another. Romance always embarrassed Shoe so she turned her head away, pretty much out of habit. Only when one sentence came from Keith’s lips did her ears raise and her eyes turn back to the two. ‘fish-wolf’ ?? Shoe didn’t need the reassurance she was already beaming herself at the ridiculous notion of what exactly she was and how Would one describe her? She laughed and beamed back between the two wolves.
She watched and smiled, her eyes taking on a grateful tone as Keith began to try to then reassure her of the importance her past did not hold here. That she would be welcomed, that her actions would not be questioned for a new slate was what awaited her here. Shoe smiled awkwardly as she realised how she must’ve easily given away her unease. A laugh then broke the fae‘s silence at Keith‘s little joke. Shoe did not laugh out of rudeness or disrespect towards this brute, far form it. It seemed like it would be foolish for a start and secondly she had no ill feelings towards him. She was just accepting Keith’s go at putting her at ease with much gratitude. This was snuffed short by the hurriedly turned away face as the fae moved herself closer to her lover and thus caused more embarrassment for Shoe.
Once more Shoe was drawn form her self-conscious stupor when Keith turned her unique voice to her once more.
‘ “Besides” “Someone as beautiful as you couldn’t be hated long by anyone” ’
At this Shoe would‘ve adopted an ostrich method, had she been able to suddenly teleport to a solitary location, but neither were possible. She could not teleport and she was in public so such an action would be quite ridiculous, even if it was in character she was not about to go hiding her face and sticking her rear in the air when in the company of a mated pair whom she had only just encountered in areas she had only just arrived in and not even been accepted into. So instead she let out a tiny groan of timidity along with an awkward grin. Maybe she had been considered pretty back home but it never really meant anything much to her, she was not vain. And following the.. Incident her looks was something she saw as more kind of.. Problematic. Not only had it been a direct result of her... visual appeal, but it also led to the entire pack, Alphess, family and all, loathing her very existance. Still. the fact that his fae had called her ‘beautiful’ brought back the uneasy thoughts of before… Mates.. To a fae!? No, it was Not at all one of Shoe‘s intentions. She wasn‘t looking for anyone! She was just getting more and more flustered and amongst all this she wondered what on Earth this mate must be thinking.

"I will not become my father" Haven
toko - subordinate – water&telekinesis - mated ”So I stumble Around” ”Till I stumble Fall down” xxxxx Haven couldn't help the small smile that etched itself on his maw at his mate's reaction to his presence. He adored that so dearly about her- how she could be so fierce in one moment, and yet with him there, she was a different wolf. Most might find it quite annoying, unattractive even, but Haven could only think the opposite. It made her a treasure, something rare that only Haven held in his paws. He enjoyed watching her moods go back and forth, and not for cruel reasons, but because it was something purely Keith and Haven absolutely loved it.
But while his mind ran rampant over Keith and how much he absolutely adored her, his ears listened to the words spoken between the two faes. His mouth stayed shut, his mind trying not to invade Keith's privacy and the other fae's as well, but he focused on Keith- intruding on something of hers was something Haven wanted the least. Keith was right, if he could make it in this pack, then who couldn't? After all, he had the genes of a monster flowing through his veins, and when he bled, Haven was disgusted with himself because he knew that his blood was his father's blood. It was Lucid's blood.
Haven's ears perked up at Keith's kind words and a soft smile flowed over his maw like a stream trickles down low lying rocks. He gently nudged behind her ear with his nose, a soft gesture, conveying his feelings of adoration through a physical mean. His red eyes flickered over to the other fae, Shoe and he straightened out his posture. "Forgive my rudeness, I have yet to introduce myself." He murmured, nodding his head politely toward the scaled varg. "My name is Haven, and these lands, Fukai, are a sanctuary of sorts. I am almost certain that you will be accepted into this pack." He shifted a mere millimeter closer to his mate her body warmth drawing him just a little closer with each passing second. He brushed his tail against her and smiled kindly between both faes. "Come now, we shall we go see if we can find you a healer?"

((Just a reminder, No wolf but the alpha/ess or the Beta/ess can bring a wolf to the den, in case they are traitors or spies or something. It's in the Pack rules. They have been re-vamped too and that is a new one...But yeah, howl or something.))

Keith Mood: Show off Keith sighed, i long drawn out confession of insecurity. She hadn't been up near the waterfall for a while now and somewhat dreaded the idea of ambling right on up and expecting help. Only to top it off the last few times she had seen the alpha it was either in blind ferocity or with her behind raised over her head in a more undignified way then Ysen's first visit. "yes" she replied, her tone dull and obviously somewhat un-impressed with her mates kind gesture although she knew this wolf really did need tending too.
Before we go though" she continued, her eyes carefully watching shoe giving Keith a some what demonic glare. If they just rocked up with some strange wolf it could mean a bad day all around "perhaps we should call the alpha, i do believe the alphess is with her pups right?" she glanced awkwardly up at haven knowing he of all wolves would be able to say. However the moment she gazed up into his glowing orbs she felt herself give way once again. Her heart thundered in her chest and another goofy smile and crawled its way across her face. Oh how she wished she could hold her dignity for just a time around this wolf...
With much difficulty she pried her gaze away and rested her black voids once again on shoe. "oh" she exclaimed glancing behind her as if to check if someone was watching. "here this will make you feel much better!" with a soft menacing giggle she rolled another of her fire balls across the ground towards the fae. It left nary a mark as it passed before stopping just bellow the she-wolf's belly and spreading outward forming a small nest like structure cool enough to be quite comfortable.
"it wont burn you so if you like you can have a little lay down, unless... its a little weird" her ears fell back for a moment. This was a fish wolf thing after all. maybe they didn't like having fire thrown at them... She grinned odly, her tails tighter around haven. Oh how she loved him she thought turning that same startled doe grin in his direction.

The armoured fae rose to her pads and, still hiding her side from view she skirted closer to the mated pair, her character smile across her lips. Looking between the two she smiled all the more, their adoration so clear, it certainly had an effect of Keith, she was going all gooey, clearly to her irritation as the glares kept coming. Shoe however wouldn’t comment, she smiled to herself but was well aware that compliments had a negative and crippling effect on her as well, gooeyness was a very common symptom. Instead she eased herself onto her haunches, her mermaids tail curling around and flapping idly as she smiled, her ears low as the two both took their time to talk, occasionally they rose and fell but remained curious yet respectful. The power in this brute’s veins was unmistakable and the femme was someone the fae already liked and had no intention to anger. Especially now that she had seen her unique ‘label’. She did not want the brute to see, nor anyone else so she finally seized her chance to talk, bowing her head as her purple main fell over her mist eyes, hopefully attention would move from her body to her words.
“Hey there, dontcha go worrying about manners, I‘ve only just myself said my hello‘s. Haven, well it‘s a pleasure to meet ya. Fukai, well this truly is a beautiful place, the water is so pure!
Oh no, no, there‘s no need to fetch me a healer, I‘ll be just fine, nothing a rabbit will fix, really. Perhaps calling for the Alpha would be wise, should I do it? I don‘t wanna disturb the Alphess and her little fuzz balls.”
Shoe rose from the ground then before taking a step back as the femme grinned at her. She grinned back but her ears curiosity and caution led her to let her paws fall a little further away. She watched then as Keith performed her magic, this was something stunning. Sure Shoe had seen abilities in her fellow wolves back at home but nothing so beautiful as this fire. She grinned all the more as it formed a nest before looking up and directing her grinning gratitude towards the femme and smiled all the broader as the confusion and though that were so adamant, crossed her maw. Shoe placed her paw daringly closer to the flames, then her fringe blew into its masses, and yet, there was no pain, no vile scent of burning but only calmness that washed over her as she made the final steps into her nest of beautiful fire.
Grinning up at the two she nodded her head. She was finally starting to feel relief and a sense of safety wash over her. Now all she had to do was meet the Alpha and hope in the impossible hope that her ‘label‘ would remain hidden from his gaze.

~ Z . E . P . H . Y . R ~ There were wolves outside. His nose told him that much. The great jowls stretched in a magnificent yawn, as the golden brown ears flicked back any moisture that had dripped from the stalagtites over the course of the night. He opened his honey coloured eyes, testing the air with his tongue, scenting out the wolves.
Two familiar, one unfamiliar. The strong scent of Haven was a welcoming ring to the morning, however the ashen scent of Keith was not. He sometimes wondered what she wanted of them. The fire wolf was clearly not cut out for a pack of the waterfalls. The third wolf, unfamiliar, possibly hostile. He scented blood, wounded flesh. His hackles rose and a soft growl emanated from his throat.
He and Cinder were known for their kindness throughout the lands. They never turned a wolf down; Keith was a pure example of that. And that worked for the two of them. But he had to be careful now with the little ones, especially with Puru in her current state of growth. He would never be able to forgive himself if anything happened to them. This new wolf smellt of blood, and he couldn't have that, if the wolf was hiding something....he might have to be forceful.
Hefting his body aloft using his strong paws, the Fukai Alpha gave his family a backwards glance over to check everything was fine, before leaving the safety of the falls.
His first reaction was surprise. The wolf - a female due to her slender form, though through those odd scales and tail of hers he found it hard to tell – was slumped against the waters edge, panting heavily. How did she get so close to the den? He was losing his touch. Keith and Haven were attending to her, though barely it seemed. Keith was doing a good job of keeping the wolf conscious by engaging in conversation, and Haven seemed to be there for the support.
Giving a small cough to alert his presence to the others more formally – they had, no doubt, caught his scent with the light breeze – he stepped down to the waters edge, lowering his muzzle so that he could gaze at the new wolf. He gave her a testing sniff, and though she did not smell of hostility he was still wary, the scent of blood was still thick on her.
“You are injured” He said simple – straight to the point. Scanning her body, he couldn't see anything that would resemble a wound....wait. Her side. She was leaning oddly. Was she trying to hide the wound? He threw his head back and howled, hoping Masina would hear the call and be on her way. The golden wolf would need his Betess in order for her to heal the wound.
“May I see the wound? Our Betess, she can treat you. Have no fear. We are all friends here” A little bit of a contradictory statement seeing as he was feeling a little hostile towards this wolf for getting so close to his pups without his knowing, so his voice may have sounded a little strained, but the kindness was there, ever present.
Words: 534 OOC: Here is an Alpha! *waves*, btw Phrax, the word, I like your description of it but I'm a little unsure, it is a Word Humans Often Remember Effectively? xD. Not sure if you wanted it kept a secret Oo *ooooh mysterious*

The fae’s little green nose was sent awash with scent as a little breeze tugged gently at her fringe. It cooled her slightly feverish brow and sent a little sting through her wound, but she would not flinch, not in a presence as was the one she would now meet. She knew instantly to rise onto her pads, her body was curved inwards a little in an attempt to hide away the one thing that would risk her acceptance here. It meant her posture was crooked but she was desperate and so as she held herself with good spirits and high respect she made her way forward without the faintest hesitation, as the male that would appear before her was hopefully to be her Alpha.
As she waited for him eagerly but with loyalty that was already showing her mind and vision blurred. She breathed deep with her jaws parted and took in the rank stench of blood that was swarming around her. That and the water and wet fur.. Water, she missed how buoyant she was in water, it made moving so much easier, she could hold herself without pain. Then was his smell along with the others around her, Keith, Haven and the wolves of the pack, young, old and new born. The air and the plants all waking up to greet the new season while the rank fragrance of sweat and horror clung to her, trying to pull her down and away form this heaven. She felt a trickle of sweat fall behind her ear and it twitched in response involuntarily before she lowered her head. Her breathing hard through fatigue and nerves. Her eyes shut to try and block out the sudden spinning. The pressure to get this right was putting such a strain on this fae that she found herself praying, actually praying! She needed him, like no one had ever needed another, well at least that she knew of and she found herself smiling in slight surprise at how annoyingly accurate clichés seemed to be. Her head down low, ready to submit and show respect, and to keep her on all fours, her tail idly swayed and she waited.
Her brow was furrowed as she heard his cough and instantly it all felt different. As if the guillotine blade had struck her neck yet at the same time a great weight had been lifted from her back. She remained perfect and still but her eyes opened. Brow furrowed her cold grey eyes made their gaze out to him and she greeted him with that stare.
Her maw opened to reply to his.. Statement. She liked that it was that. A Question was unnecessary but a statement showed his quick and clever mind and she couldn’t help but smile, a feat that gave her a bedraggled cross drowned rat look with a hint of relief on its maw. Then he howled and his words were heard again. Then the smile left and though her face looked calm her eyes were wider and in her mind she was panicking.
“Please, please don’t call her. I.. I don’t want any trouble! I just need a home. I. I can’t show you the wound, it’s fine, really. I. I don’t want no healer.”
Her words were skittish, to one with a keen mind the wording itself might seem strange. Her body language was all over the place, her tail and ears franticly moving and she was almost withdrawing, shying away. Red appeared and then disappeared from view as she tried to keep herself hidden. Safe. He felt threatened, it was nonsense but the blood was so strong about her that it made perfect sense. The last thing Shoe wanted was to call forth his mate. She would read the word and send her running, just like her last Alphess. She would be homeless again and probably dead. She just wanted to be safe. Her heart was beating haywire, she’d probably be having a panic attack or a heart attack or both if she wasn’t so determined to not let anyone see her ‘make’ her ’type’, what she was categorised as. She felt herself tremor as she blinked before gazing up at him her eyes a little crossed. Never had she felt so desperate, her happy-go-lucky merriment was gone and she was stuck in sheer fear. She could only think of two things.
1. “Please. My name is Shoe.” 2. “I. all I want is a home.”
{OOC - words 748 YAY had muse! Dunno what you're getting at Tio but yeah, she's desperate to hide the Word to avoid others seeing it and passing judgement on her because of it, she's sure she isn't one but there's still part of her that isn't quite sure so either way she's moving to hide it at all costs. I changed it from looking after the pups 'cause she isn't aware of her maternal instinct yet as she's not met them but can we get a threa going to make her the pack pup-sitter, have her realise that she wants to look after them after meeting a few or something. YAY this is getting really fun! Who's turn? xxx}
