A trail worked through the deep snow, leaving almost no trace, except for a faint crimson streak in the snow, much like an iron vein in a cliff side. The she wolf raised her head, shifting the thin layer of powdery snow. It slid down the back of her head than off the back of her neck and into the snow banks on either side. The elegant circular teal markings on her ears and forehead slightly lighting up the snowflakes. Zytka's cold blue eyes shone in the pale light of a half moon. She let out a long howl. A howl stating a few things about her self, and asking a question. 'I am alone, looking for a pack.' The howl said, 'Is there anyone at all out here?' She took a leap off her perch falling, 10, 20, 35 feet before pummeling the snow below with her minute form. She bounded away, her movement unhindered in the deep snow, leaving nothing but a thin crease in the powdery blanket. She didn't worry about her tracks. They would be covered before the first stars came out. The Fae sat down where she was, looking out from the mountains, waiting for a response. The view at this altitude was spectacular, the mountain tip where she was lay just above cloud level, from here one practically felt like they were flying. she closed her eyes and listened.

A white female padded forward, marking the territory that made the lands belong to her family... Her father was away, and now she knew what part of his plans were. She smirked to herself, proud to be the daughter of such a ballsy brute. Not to mention, when she was made Alphess after her father's demise or age, she would have more lands for herself. It was a win-win situation in her eyes.
She brushed her flame-tipped bangs out of her eyes, her large wings folded to her sides. She was rather large, compared to her father, though nowhere near as big as he was.... or as muscular. True enough, she did have muscles, but they fit her feminine form well and added to her features, of which she took after her mother with femininity. She trotted forward, flamed paws leaving huge tracks behind.
Shortly, a howl caught her audits and she turned her glowing, amber eyes toward the source of the sound, tilting her head to the side and making her way in the general direction. So, a loner on the lands? Looking for a pack? Tola would be the judge of that.
Within a short amount of time... a few minutes or so, she finally found the female and made her way with ease toward her. She was all too used to the terrain that belonged to her father, so she was agile and quick to move over it.
"Hello, loner." [/b] She gave a wry smile, watching the female closely for any weaknesses or faults that would prove unfitting for her fathers pack. "So, you're looking for a pack? Well, give me your name."[/b] She waited, though Tola wasn't exactly the patient type, and watched. Her glowing orbs took in the faes features, memorizing them to the best of her ability so she would be able to better recognize her later if she fled or disrespected the pack in any way. She took in the scent, marking it to memory, though it only looked like she was waiting for a response.[/blockquote]

The wolf could sense the fae approaching her several minutes before she was found, and decided to turn around and face the exact spot where she would emerge out of the snow.
She waited for about a minute, listening to the wind howling through the creases and small canyons of the mountain. Shaking the pine tree's coats as if wanting to relieve them of the burden of so much snow. The wind buffeted her thick white coat to no end. The she wolf didn't mind at all, she liked the cold, it kept her alert, and it was quiet.
Zytka noticed there was an absence of sound, considering the size of the approaching wolf, foot steps quiet and well placed, as if they had walked this territory for many many winters.
The color of Zytka's markings swirled and slowly shifted to a darker shade of blue. The fae took a deep breath as the other wolf appeared.
"Hello." She responded coolly, all too used to this type of calm hostility, the kind that comes from a killer born and bred, taught to play with its prey. "My name is Zytka," The she wolf responded slowly, feeling the other, much larger fae's eyes course over her figure as she did the same. "And yes, I am looking for a pack." She exhaled, watching the swirls of steam float lazily up from her nostrils. "Would I be correct in guessing that you are the Alpha's pup?"
The fae couldn't help but let her eyes run over the other wolf's figure over and over, pondering how a wolf could possibly get so big. Admiring the size of her muscles and how well they fit her form. Even jealous of her over sized body. She was careful not to show any signs of fear.

Tola watched and waited for her to speak... and when she finally did, it didn't surprise her the words she spoke and the way she spoke them. She seemed, thus far, like she would fit in with the other personalities around here, but would she last long with her cool tone? Well, that would be up to Lucid and the others to decide.
"What makes you think I'm the Alpha's daughter? What makes you think that I'm not the Alphess? I was the first to greet you, was I not? I was the one to respond to your howl, yes? What gives you the impression that I am not the leader here?" [/b] She replied just as cooly, lowering her head so she was eye-level with the female before her. A thing she had more often than not saw her father do with other wolves that he was talking to... or talking down to... depending on the wolf and his mood. She flicked her tail behind her, standing in a simple position while pondering her next words carefully. "Any particular reason you chose to come here to seek a pack? As you may or may not know, there are three other packs as well... what drew you to this one? What powers do you possess... That is, I assume you have some form of special abilities? If you were to be let into the pack, what can you bring to it? How could you make us stronger as a unit?"[/b] Tola liked to know all she could about any of the wolves in the pack.... knowledge was power, in her eyes... and the more she knew, the more power she could have over others. She shifted her wings against her sides, the white feathers with the flame tips ruffling slightly in the chill wind that blew through them and through the mountains. She didn't mind the cold or the snow, having been born and raised in the mountains her entire life... besides, enduring harsh conditions was another way to show strength and to weed out weakness.[/blockquote] ((Don't forget to at least bold your words that you speak out loud.))

The corners of Zytka's lips pulled back slightly. Her tongue lay limply in her mouth, just partially hanging out of one side as she listened. The fae could feel the blanket of subtle agression fall onto her head as the wolf lowered her head to be level with Zytka.
Her grin widened as the fae continued to speak. She listened tentatively. 'Predicatable' She though to herself. Finally when the time came; "I can tell you're not the alphess because you're too young. Also, you, like me, are the Alpha's pup. You have an air of authority about you that is not yet absolute. You know your father will not intervene with your confronting and intruder on your territory. But it's never far out of mind that you might be reprimanded if you say something your father wouldn't approve of, so you carefully select your words so to avoid trouble."
Zytka could sense that Tola wasn't genuinely interested in her and her powers, she simply wanted to find a weakness. So the she wolf paused for a few seconds to think of what to say next and let the extent of what she said before soak in. The fae's wings caught her eyes, she was suddenly enticed by their elegant form. She was drawn in momentarily, her gaze suddenly blank, her dark blue stripes now sinking into an even darker shade.
She gave her head and shoulders a shake to wake herself back up and to get the snow off of herself. "I came here to seek a pack because its the closest inhabitable area to where my old pack, and," Zytka paused to find the right word without giving out names or personal information, "And where 'They' lie. As for the other packs, I know not of them, and aren't even remotely interested either. My heart lies in mountainous regions and there it shall stay." She licked her muzzle, now slightly more confortable with the fae.
"Making the pack stronger, hmm. I make for an excellent scout. I can hunt elk on my own quite easily, and in groups even easier. I can do..." In a half second and blue streaked flash later Zytka had advanced the full 9 foot distance between her and Tola, moved under her front legs, and ever so gripped the fae's jugular with her thin jaw, and squeezed ever so lightly. "...this"
She grinned as she let go of the fae's throat, padded back to the warm patch in the snow and sat back down. Zytka let out a little joyous bark, the kind a pup lets out when he sees his mother bringing food, quite contented with herself.

Tola watched the female and listened. She certainly had the attitude to be a part of this pack, that was for sure... It still irked Tola, however, that this female had the gall to speak to her as if she weren't in any sort of leadership position.
"Watch your tongue. I may not be alpha, but that doesn't mean you can treat me like any other pack member. I am in charge of the pack as of right now, so you will respect me as you would respect your Alpha." [/b] She glared at the female, her eyes getting a slightly fiercer glow to them as she did so. Then the female before her... Zytka was it? Did something that caught Tola off guard. She moved with such speed that Tola was temporarily at a loss for words, but it wasn't noticeable. Just enough for her to think for a moment about what kind of ability this was and how it could either help or hinder the pack... most outcomes showed it helping, which allowed a small smirk to spread across Tola's maw. "Very well. You will start out in the pack as a subordinate... and work your way up if you feel you deserve any sort of leadership position... which I'm sure you think that you are more than fitting for, given your own personality and apparent arrogance."[/b] She flicked her tail behind her, adjusting her wings slightly so they fit a little more comfortably against her ribcage and raised an eyebrow at the female. Tola meant her words... she rarely ever said something she didn't mean... and since she was in charge and her brother, Crow, seemed nowhere to be found, she was reigning Alphess, therefore, the pack was under her control... and she would demand the respect deserved of one in such a leadership position. If this female were to disrespect her again, Tola would do something about it. She mused to herself the females reaction should she ever be in the presence of Sinis and if she tried to use her power around the omega... that would be something Tola would get a kick out of. She mentally shook the thoughts from her head as she waited for the female to respond... Tola had accepted her into the pack... but had told her to respect her... And was now waiting oh so patiently for the female to open her maw again.[/blockquote]

"Duly noted, alphess." Said the she-wolf cheekily, still quite contented with herself. Having got to know the larger wolf Zytka was much less intimidated by her, despite her attempts to scare her.
Her wide grin crossed her face once more as Tola smirked. Zytka, happy with the fae's reaction and resposne couldn't help but let out a little bark of laughter. "Subordinate, eh?" Said the she wolf. The fae let out a long string of swears and a couple names under her breath. "Much better than I've been offered in the past, and probably better than I will be offered in the rest of my lifetime. Thank you."
When she wasn't making an effort to look serious she actually looked quite goofy, bright pink tongue dangling lazily out of the side of her mouth, head cocked in the other direction.
Zytka's grin widened when Tola brought up her arrogant nature. "My arrogance is simply a facade," The fae said in all seriousness, "It keeps people off my back. Makes them pay attention to my attitude rather than actions and intentions. Don't get the wrong ideas, I wish for the best for the pack. I simply have a personal agenda as well. As for leadership, if it were offered I wouldn't decline, but I'm not begging for it either."
The she wolf's grin was less of a grin now and more of a grimace. Almost angry. Her markings rapidly swirling to blood red streaked with black. Zytka took a deep breath, waiting a seemingly long time before exhaling. The she wolf gave a slow shudder as her markings faded back to teal. She took a few more deep breaths before continuing to speak.
"Ah, I just realized. You know my name and of my abilities. I know nothing of your name or pack. If you would do me the honor of enlightening me that would be appreciated." She paused, taking a short breath and blowing the steam out her nostrils before continuing. "As much as I think I shouldn't say this, I feel I must add that your wings are quite, spectacular."

Tola watched as the female spoke, monitoring her emotions in the process. It didn't take her long to figure out that the marking this female had was somehow tied to her emotions, allowing Tola to gain more knowledge through this. She noticed that when the fae got agitated, they turned a more reddish color... and when she had calmed herself, they turned teal. A rather interesting fact about this female that intrigued Tola none-the-less.
"Arrogance might make others pay attention to your personality, but sometimes arrogance is not the best way to handle yourself. Some would take being called arrogant an insult. As for your own agenda, what might that be? Surely you don't think you can expect to get anywhere in the pack without sharing this with a superior? Especially since what I have to say when my father returns will either make or break you in this pack." [/b] She flicked her tail behind her as she gave a sly smirk. "As for my name? I'm Tola. As for the pack, this is the Misuteriasu Mountains Packlands. We are a strong group of wolves with many varied abilities and strengths. It would be difficult to find a weakness within these packlands, as I'm sure you've noticed. We have the weather, the terrain and the solid force for any oncoming attack... by far the best lands to call a home and the safest."[/b] She finished this with a note that told the female to even think about challenging her on this aspect. It showed pride for her lands and for the pack that she one day hoped to call hers. Tola was slightly caught off guard when the female complimented her wings, but quickly recovered herself. "Thank you."[/b] She gave a slightly nicer smile, though it was still more of a smirk than anything. She adjusted them once more, partly because they had grown a little uncomfortable, partly for show. Tola was never one to turn down a compliment![/blockquote]

Breathing in – breathing out slowly, he kept his mind calm to better control the temperature of the air beneath his wings. His solid eyes scanned the scenery below, but although he had wings like a hawk, his eyesight was no where close in comparison, no wolves’ was. But scent acted like a secondary pair of optics, especially at such a great height. And his ears were the radars to which everything would tune if something was detected. The wind shifted suddenly, drafting in the near opposite direction, but Crow’s reflexes were just as quick, and faster than one could blink an eye, his mind shifted the heat in the air around him to steady his flight. After the change of the breeze, his sister’s scent came with it, along with a stranger’s.
Tola was greeting someone at the border again, no surprise there. Even now that Crow stationed himself at the homelands, he was clueless to how she could always approach strangers before him. He growled enviously to himself, how could he allow her to best him? He changed direction, but unlike any other flying creature, Crow’s wings didn’t fold or tilt, instead he contorted the temperature surrounding him to force his body into whichever direction he willed. It was an energy and time saver, using different dynamics of temperature allowed him to travel at faster speeds and in more accurate directions, for it was less likely that his large body would catch a stray draft. Like a picture placed before him, Tola’s scent became clearer and clearer the closer he drew. He licked the roof of his mouth, tasting her, along with the stranger with her.
Hovering above the two, though not so far that he could not see, Crow watch, interested to how his sister went about her business. Her forward personality didn’t even hide itself as she greeted newcomers, Crow’s brows furrowed, taking note. He resisted the urge to growl in jealousy, out of caution that she might hear. His thoughts froze, why hadn’t she already detected him? Usually she always was on high alert, never wanting to miss even a leaf that fell from a tree in front of her. He figured because the draft he hovered in came from the exact angle to which he spied upon them, making him downwind. Plus his height lessened the sounds of his breathing, and his fur rustling. His wings never made noise, for he never had to move them in flight. He prided himself in being the only wolf to ever be able to hover.
However, Crow’s thoughts were interrupted as his heart nearly stopped. In less than a blink of an eye, the stranger held his sister’s throat in her jaws. What had happened? He had just seen her positioned further away! Had he really been that lost in thought! No, even if he was lost in thought, Tola wouldn’t allow a stranger to attack her front in such a manner without defending herself. Crow’s wings folded, but just as the notion of the thought to heat the air above him formed within his mind, the stranger was then again standing away from his sister. He felt his breath catch in his throat, she could have lost her life just then. His twin tails lashed behind him as a slow anger began to boil. Crow completed the thought, rapidly heating the air directly above him, causing it to expand at an impossible speed, shooting his body to the ground.
His wings expanded just before impact, slowly his speed so that the weight of his body would not break his legs. Crow landed with a boulder-shattering thud right at his sister’s side. His black face wore a frown, while the white flames upon his feet and tails seemed alive with his movements. His pupiless, blue eyes didn’t leave the stranger. Though he didn’t hold his head high with dominance, the size difference between the two sibilings was obvious. Crow’s shoulders stood nearly a head’s more than his Father’s, and almost twice that of Tola’s. Black claws gripped the ground as he slowly drew himself out of his defensive position. ”Any problems here, Sis?” The last time he had called Tola that, was in their puphood. [/blockquote]

"Arrogance has served me well in the past. I don't expect to cease, however, that doesn't mean I have a disregard for authority. On the contrary, without command, nothing ever gets done. I would know. My," The she-wolf faltered for a half second, a dark orange slowly streaked her unceasingly flowing markings.
"My father, curse the bastard, was an idiot, believing that anything needed to be done in the pack would be done without question by his subordinates. He never bothered to make sure things were running smoothly. Never bothering to speak with my mother. But enough of that. As for my own agenda, it shan't interfere with the packs life. I'll tell you in due time, Tola." She paused for a short minute, breathing slowly, finally calming herself.
She jumped as Crow hit the ground with a crash. The fur all down her spine standing on end. "Is he from your pack" The fae asked after she managed to regain her balance. She paused and thought for several long seconds, "Your brother?" 'Ah,' Zytka thought, nodding her head slightly as Crow confirmed her thoughts.
"Unless there's a problem with me being here," Said the she-wolf slowly, choosing her words carefully as to not offend the massive wolf in front of her, trying to figure out why he was so agitated. It suddenly dawned on the she-wolf, the attack, from earlier, this brute had seen it and thought it was actual aggression rather than showing off. Zytka would have to be careful with what she said around this giant among wolves. A lot more careful.

Tola listened to the female as she spoke... something with her father had agitated her... and she had explained a bit, but not enough to fully satisfy her. Not to mention, she spoke that she would reveal her own agenda in time... and that tweaked a little bit of anger in Tola.
"I don't think you understand. There are no secrets in this pack from your superiors... now, what is your own agenda? I don't care if you say it isn't going to harm or interfere with the pack. I demand to know." [/b] She looked eye-level with the female again, flicking her tail behind her. She was about to speak again when she felt her brother land beside her. She quickly turned her head, slightly alarmed by his sudden appearance. She had to look up to him.. he was larger than even father, which made him extremely big in many cases... something that he could easily use for intimidation, that Tola envied him ever so slightly for, but never really showed it, only because her own thoughts led her to realize her size and form were proportioned just right for her to be able to maneuver and whatnot the way she wanted to... Although, she was nowhere near as good a flyer as Crow. "No real problem.. she's just hiding secrets from me, that's all. Apparently she has her own agenda, one she wishes not to share with me or any leader for that matter... but one of which she is pursuing along with wishing to join the pack."[/b] Tola noted how Crow's posture was very defensive to begin with, followed by straightening out his posture into a less defensive position. She was puzzled at this fact, though it only flashed in her eyes for a second as she looked at him, before it disappeared. She would ask him what that was all about later. Not to mention, he had called her 'sis', which puzzled her even more. She flicked her tail behind her ever so slightly and adjusted her wings once more.. the cool air continuously jostled them, causing them to become slightly ruffled... a feeling she did not find pleasing in the least.[/blockquote]

He would admit, he did find a small thrill in seeing the fur along the newcomer's spine stand on end in fear and surprise. He even saw his sister start with fright. Crow resisted the urge to lick his lips, he would have fun with it, but he would not allow himself to delve within it like some beast-animal. His twin tails flicked idly behind him as he let the adrenalin settle. It was quite a rush - the exstacy of plummeting through the sky, the air above him literally forcing him down, like it could do to no other, but not only that, a portion of his adrenalin was due to the protectiveness he felt over Tola. He resisted his instinct to look at her. What would he have done had see just been killed? Crow had never contemplated thoughts such as that before. He had never had a reason too.
But he quickly discarded the unthinkable event, bringing his full attention to the female before him. She was nothing spectacular, not in looks anyways. And he could smell no power resonating around her. But that was obviously deceiving, he had seen her nearly in two separate placed at once. Teleportation perhaps? Or something along the lines. He couldn't imagine someone's muscles being able to move that fast without tearing. Having witnessed a 'demonstration' of her power, he super-heated the air only a hair's width away from his body, not so much that it would disturb the others, but enough so that if she attack him, her flesh would melt with contact. He looked to his sister and nodded his acknowledgment, turning again to the white female, waiting for her to speak.

As usual she had wandered from the safety of the den. That monster Zendlerin seemed to have been keeping his distance recently so she was more content with wandering around. It made her feel better to be able to explore her own homeland. The pups agile pawsteps made a light patter as she scampered through the sparse forest. Scamper was not often a word she would use to describe her pawsteps, but scamper she did today.
Though Lucid's proclaimation had shook the packlands and all questions had been forming upon all lips, she had been surprisingly calm. Her ability had not taunted her yet, and though she felt strongly the apprehension and worry of all around her, she felt no more compelled to stop it than she did to try and chew on a rock.
Today had been a good day. The pads of her paws were still slightly damp from a stream she had run through, cleaning them of their dirt and dust. Her tail twitched, almost wagging as she sped along. Her nose rocketed up and down, almost to a beat.
Suddenly a fresh scent caught her nose. It twitched. Once, twice. Her eyes widened as she cocked her head. A stranger was in the packlands. Then the strong, dominant scent of Tola washed over her, mingled with agitation and slight impatience. This was interesting. Tola was easily agitated, but so soon after meeting a loner? That was a surprising development.
A third scent entered her mind, strong and slicked with sweat. He had been absent from her sights for a while it took her a short time to recognise him, but soon she did and she gasped a little, swooning. The large brute had an odd effect on the little pup, and she couldn't quite tell why, but she felt at awe being around him. She knew it wasn't his size, although he was taller than Lucid by a head, but it hadn't bothered her with Tola. There was just...something about him.
She quickened her pace with a hop and a skip, closing the distance between them just in time to hear the last of the loners speech to Tola, which made her pause. Agenda? All in due time? She shook her head disdainfully. She disliked this wolf already if they were to keep secrets from the substitute Alphess. Tut, tut. From the sounds of the voice, the stranger was a fae. Trust a fae to get on Tola's nerves.
She strode forwards, her tiny limbs creaking a little from the sudden use of a few minutes ago and then the calm demeanor of her entrance. Her startling violet eyes took in the forms of Tola, then Crow, on her right. She avoided looking at Crow for an extended amount of time, fearing she might faint from the sudden rush of blood to her cheeks, and gave them both a respectful bow, sliding one paw forwards and dipping her head.
The violet pup then turned her eyes to the newcomer. An odd fae, strangely white, such a contrast to them, with such odd markings. Elva's eyes flicked upwards, checking her fringe was still covering the bright star upon her forhead before speaking.
"You should tell them now. It is disrespectful to hold in secrets. Especially ones that could do the pack harm. You are not yet deemed trustworthy enough." She said bitterly, her eyes staring into the loner, the stranger, her mouth twisted slightly.
"I would also prefer it if you weren't speaking as if to a minor, and instead address Tola as if she were your superior, Loner"
Words: 610 OOC: Yeah, Elva's my lil' biatch

The she-wolf's nose pricked, the scent now quite different from Tola and Crow's, thankfully not another one of their immediate family. 'Another wolf?' She thought to herself, 'How strange.'
"I'll take it you weren't joking around about having the best territory to defend with. Three wolves come to meet me in less than ten minutes. Impressive."
Zytka gave a contented bark of laughter as the pup spoke. "Well met, although I'm actually subordinate now, young one. You can ask your alphess." Said Zytka grinning. The fae let the corners of her lips pull slightly farther back. Her eyes narrowing just an 1/8th of an inch. She didn't like being bossed around, even less so by this, this pup. The she-wolf caught herself and slowly let her lips slide back into place, her eyes now open once more. If she wasn't careful the large wolf could crush her without batting an eyelash.
"Since you both insisted on me revealing my small and quite harmless agenda, I shall."
Zytka's eyes widened, her cold blue irises expanding, covering almost the whole of her eye. Engulfing her onyx pupil all together. Her markings glowed in the evening light. The fae flashed forwards, landing in between Tola and Crow and right in front of Elva. Zytka bared (sp?) her fangs, barely an inch away from Elva's face. The she-wolf exhaled towards the pup's nose. Her moist breath reeked of the blood, not of prey, but of wolves. The fae's eyes flashed wickedly. This whole engagement lasted barely a second before continuing. She stood on her hind legs to hoist her small figure, compared to Crow anyways, high enough to be able to whisper into the siblings ears.
"As for my agenda," She said, crimson flowing into her markings, mixing with the teal rather than pushing it aside, "If you must know," Zytka paused to emphasize the importance of what she was saying. "That night. The night I stopped being a drop of water in the ocean. I failed to finish what I started. There's still someone out there. My brother. I wish to watch his blood taint the snow, unable to curse me for what I did. Because I will have his throat dangling from my maw. I want him dead!"
The wolf's markings flashed purple before flushing away the last of the blue. Zytka had snapped out the the last syllable with such violence it knocked her off balance just a fraction. Not far enough to cause her to fall. Just far enough that the tip of one of her long whiskers to brush the barrier of heat on Crow's shoulder. The whisker sizzled and shrunk away to the side of her maw in the blink of an eye.
Every hair on her body prickled. Her hackles raised high. Her thick markings flooded with black. The fae's eyes widened, this time her pupils engulfed her iris. She shuddered as she took two steps back. Zytka gave Crow a look of absolute terror for several long seconds before finally falling to her forepaws. Her hair slowly lowered itself, she shook slightly. Her markings faded to gray, ever so slowly. Than finally turned to a faint teal, the color of her eyes.

Tola watched the female until the scent of another of their pack-wolves caught her nose. She gave a small smirk, growing quite fond of Elva, though she really couldn't explain why. The female had quite the wise words to speak, even for one so small. This time didn't change things. What pleased Tola more was the impression made by the pack upon the new female... the fact that they were a strong pack.
"You may be a subordinate, but Elva here is right... you still are not quite trustworthy within the pack. That being said, yes you may be the same rank as a majority of the wolves here, but they still hold rank over you through the amount of time they've been here. They've proven their loyalty to the pack, an act you have yet to fulfill... so until you do so, it will be known that you are to respect the other wolves in the pack, same rank or no, and treat them as if they were a superior, including Elva here. The only wolf you will not have to treat as this is Sinis, though she is currently away with my parents. She is our pack Omega." [/b] She gave a small smirk at this and flicked her tail behind her. Her eyes, constantly glowing, grew brighter to enunciate some of her words. "Furthermore, Elva has made another fine point that I have been ever so subtlely trying to address. I am young, yes, but that doesn't make me inexperienced or stupid. I am a higher rank than you, and being so, you need to treat me and the rest of the pack within our ranks... Crow and I are acting Alphas and should be treated as such."[/b] She gave a stern look at this point. Tola hated being underestimated... and she would show it, one way or another... though she really didn't have anything spectacular she could do, aside from breathing fire like her father... much like a dragon. That, and her rapid healing abilities... couldn't forget about those. It was nothing, however, compared to some wolves out there, a slight thing she found envious, but that she quickly learned to suppress when she was younger. Tola, standing much smaller than Crow, but still very large for any wolf, held herself to her full height when the female began to hint at revealing her agenda. She growled slightly as she listened, though it was silent and more to herself. Her eyes glowed a bright color, fading from a golden hue to a more violent shade of blue as the female continued to speak. When the female finished, Tola shot her a sharp look and lashed her tail behind her. "That sort of agenda could and would put the pack in danger... or do you not realize the intricate connections that a pack holds? If you were to get into any sort of trouble, the pack would be obliged to protect you. That being said, if there were some sort of attack by your brother or any other wolves... or if you are bringing a war to these lands, that is considered a hostile tactic and could very well put the pack in danger. Now, I don't care what your brother did or why you want to kill him, but I want you to know that if anything... and I mean anything goes on on these lands, I will exile you from the pack for putting it in danger. Do you understand me?"[/b] Her eyes remained their bright blue, completely with an equally bright glow, and grew even brighter with each word she put emphasis on. Why any wolf would want to kill her family, especially a brother or any immediate family, was beyond Tola. She couldn't imagine ever wanting to kill Crow, even if he was a nuisance sometimes. She lashed her tail behind her, daring the loner to test her patience further. She was easily larger and stronger than the loner, though her muscles didn't bulge like her fathers.. they fit her slender and smooth form in a very feminine manner, though something to be very misleading should she ever get into a fight. It had been proven with her brothers when they were younger, though they had grown out of their little tussles that they used to have all the time.[/blockquote]

Crow's flame-tipped ears flicked, his stance relaxing even more as he heard another approach. He only glanced away from the stranger, though no one would be able to tell for his eyes were pupilless. It was Elva. He had always found it odd that she never seemed to grow. A runt was what she had to be, no other explanation for it. She had, afterall, found her way to the pack at nearly the same time he, Tola, and Haven were growing up. And still she remained a puppy. He recalled Tola teasing about her whenever she was out of earshot, and even Haven, with his gentle nature, would laugh. And although Crow laughed as well, he always found her to be something odd. His ears flicked as his thoughts trailed. Haven...where was his brother. Crow knew that he had left, abandoned the pack and his family. Crow repressed a growl. How could he have done such a thing. Sure, he and Father had never seen eye to eye, but neither had anyone. Anyone but Mother, really. Crow felt guilty for thinking it, but he found it a little difficult that anyone could fall in love with Father. Granted, he was glad that she had, for it led to him, but he had trouble wrapping his thoughts around it.
His claws gripped the ground as he brought his thoughts back to where they should be. This stranger showed little respect. Crow licked the inside of his chops, imagining that she wasn't far from a whipping if she kept it up. He had never scolded any pack member before. Thinking of Tola's words, it sounded like she was experienced in it. Come to think of it, he had never truly been in any fight. Did hunting count? He supposed it didn't, since that was only food, not another of his kind. He wondered, if this...Zytka was it?...needed to be put into place, could he do it? [/blockquote]

The tiny violet pup was caught extremely off guard as the fae leapt towards her. Elva's deep mauve eyes widened in her skull, her ears rocketing backwards flat against her head as she saw the loner close the distance between them in a fraction of a second. The fae's teeth clanged together, millimetres away from her sensitive puppy's nose, and she visibly cowered.
Then the fae exhaled. Elva swooned, her eyes rolling and she retched slightly, feeling the bile enter up throuh her throat. She swallowed heavily, forcing the vomit back down that made its way so eagerly up her mouth. Instead she coughed weakly, though it sounded more like a whimper to those near her. She would not allow weakness in front of this brute-like fae. Even if she was scared out of her pelt.
Her eyes, unable to move themselves from the she-wolf's dagger teeth, flickered uneasily in their sockets, seeing the dried blood in the corners of the teeth. Her nose twitched, willing that awful, canniballistic scent of other wolf to remove itself from her scent glands, but the smell kept coming. She would not throw up, she would not throw up. This female was a monstrosity.
At this point Elva didn't care whether she killed for self defense of for pure pleasure. Her eyes clouded over as she twitched her head to the side, breaking eye contact with the fae's teeth to shiver, her eyes screwed up tightly. Her bottom lip quivered in a miserable attempt to keep her from whimpering out loud. She had never remembered being so suddenly scared before in her entire life.
As Tola spoke with authority and irritation, the pup slowly regained some of her confidence now that the attention was not directed entirely at her. The she-wolf's paws were still right in front of her though, and her teeth were too close to the back of her neck for Elva's liking, but her paws refused to move.
Distantly, she heard Tola speak her name, and she looked up, surprise in her eyes quickly being overcome by pride and then snideness at Tola's declaration. She was a trustworthy subordinate, and therefore of higher rank than the crazy fae. Allowing herself a shake of the head with a smirk, she chuckled lightly to herself. This new pack....follower, she couldn't call the fae a member just yet, would have to get used to the fact that she would have to respect the pup. She would realise that Elva was not to be taken lightly just because she was small and frail.

Ooc:// Hey sorry guys. Spent like, the week at my friends house playing video games and hanging out cause we're all bored as hell. I'll go make hot chocolate than respond. Sorry for the delay.

Zytka let just the faintest hint of a grin cross her face as she watched Elva's reaction. The youngster was still quite unused to blood. The fae was all too familiar with it. So much so that if it weren't for the pain she wouldn't notice the fact that she was wounded. Never-the-less sat quietly, listening to everything Tola had to say. "I'll be sure to hold my tongue next time," She said, suddenly somewhat humbled. "I apologize for my, insolence." The fae wasn't quite genuinely sorry, but knew that without apology and a cease to her sass she wouldn't last to her next meal.
The she wolf listened more, absorbing every word Tola had to say. She pondered the whole situation for several minutes before responding. "Apparently I don't know the connections a pack holds as well as I thought. I grew as a loner even though I was in a pack, the daughter of the Alpha. Everyone in the BloodMaw did. We hunted ate and slept as one. That was as connected as we ever were. I haven't been protected for many a moon. Not since I was a pup. As I assume you would have guessed by now, growing up must have been quite different for the two of us." Said Zytka slowly, still choosing her words carefully, now quite afraid of Crow.
"Despite this, as you have accepted me into your pack. Which means its my pack too now. Which makes you my Alphess. As I cannot go against your orders, I shall keep my peace for now. I can assure you one thing, my brother is alone. He is the only one who would hold a grudge against me. My dearest Lucifer is a coward. He is no threat to you or the rest of your pack." Zytka said quietly, showing no signs of emotion. She could assume without much contemplation that Tola had a good idea of how her markings worked and thought it best to suppress her emotions for the time being.
