Crow gave a quick nod to Fadeingechoes’ request and dipped his right wing to carry his large body to the West. He knew the lands of Aelyn, all of them, like the back of his paw. He gave a quick snort of displeasure as a gust of wind attempted to throw him off course, but he quickly countered it by creating his own heat behind him. Crow could have flown to the Fukai packlands and back in only a quick minute or so, his ability to heat air would have enabled him to fly like a rocket through the air, but he kept his pace slow so that the rejected female could keep up. His ears flicked as the air ruffled the tuffs of fur on their insides. He had an urge to start a small conversation, but did nothing with it. This was nothing than a matter of business, and he preferred to keep it that way, the less he knew Fadeingechoes the easier it would be to simply point her in the right direction and say goodbye. His two tails balanced behind him as another gust came from below. Crow let his massive body rise in the air as the draft carried him up. He glanced back to make sure she was following before turning his attention back to the horizon before him.
It had been a good while of simply flying before Crow halted his advanced and effortlessly hovered in the air, something no other wolf could do. He motioned to the west, where the trees began to grow thick and the land leveled out a great deal. ”There is the lands of the Fukai Pack. If you keep west at the angle I have brought you at, then you will not miss the Fukai Waterfall. It’s massive and sits right above the Fukai Lake, where the den is. There you will surely find the leaders who will accept you…so long as you mind your manners.”
He hovered there for a moment to make sure that Fadeingechoes would follow his directions before turning and gliding away. Crow had not desire, no urge to even consider joining his sister along with Anubis and Nerukuma again. His ears dipped slightly in sadness…on a small level, he knew what rejection felt like. But Crow quickly snorted the feeling away and instead took upon himself to patrol the borders since he was in the perfect spot for it. He gave one last sidelong glance to the location of Tola before turning and heading in the opposite direction.
++ Crow has left the area ++

The male gazed across the snow that spread out before him. The landscape was as perfect as it was white and cold. To Anubis it was truly beautiful, definitely a world within a world that had captured his heart. It reminded him of his mother, how much he loved her. More than any fae he’d ever met. In this land though he had found wonderful company whom he had already found love for. His heart as huge and inviting as ever if not bigger and continuing to swell, with it he felt nothing but adoration and compassion for all he had met. Even more joyous to feel his affection for Crow and Tola build with pride but also for the two faes he had known, even if only briefly. Full of love and ever growing. That was and is Anubis.
Slowly he raised his head as his Alpha ascended into the great sky. Anubis had no wings and yet this winged male introduced him to another new concept of flight. Anubis was fascinated with a triumphant and massive grin. He pondered all that had passed between the two in their brief meeting and felt the same throb in his heart of his love towards this pack and it’s Alpha. Meeting the true Alpha would be an encounter to remember. Anubis felt the pride of the land seep into him from where his paws touched the earth. Blood, tears, love and war was well known on this turf but it didn’t change the one fact that this was unquestionably Home.
The sleet brute smiled charmingly, his teeth dazzling and his eyes full of kindness before he closed them with a passing tear as he threw back his great head and howled.
“Farewell for now dear sir Crow. It has been nothing short of a Great honour to meet you and I hope my pads find your paw prints again very soon. Thank-you.”
He was smiling so much it was starting to hurt. The sheer overwhelming joy of his acceptance was finally filling his heart and he turned to the others on the ground, his breath in short misty puffs. He bowed his head once quickly to Tola once more, quicker as the rush was with him but still with utmost respect. He smiled as he addressed those around him.
“Tola, dear lady I cannot thank-you enough for allowing me this honour of acceptance in this, to me, the most wonderful pack I have come across. I wish to learn of its ways quickly that I might serve the pack true to its desires. You know my aim but I know that it is my duty to earn it. I can only thank-you, both, for the chance. I hope I can prove my worth. It would be an honour to serve the pack under you, your fine brother and your packs Alphen pair upon their return.
Nerakuma. I am so very happy that we can advance forth into Misuteriasu together; I would take no greater joy than to walk with you to the pack lands. Tola, if you are heading that way it would be a marvellous virtue to walk with you also. What do you two ladies desire?” =]
OOC - Sway has no muse so has said we can skip her that's why I'm posting here ^^

Nerakuma's smile beamed across her face as she looked over the land before her. It was as if from a movie, she looked to Tola. "Thank you, I can asure you that regretting my acception will never come about. And I do hope only to please the needs of the pack and its members. Anubis, I do believe that I would take great pleasure in walking with you, my new found friend." Her smile was unlike any she had let loose since she had seen her pups birth. But that was much time ago, and wouldn't be associated with her new life. But she hoped that being Beta would come her way, she really did want the rank, and she would work her hardest to recieve it. Nera's paws took to a swift beet is she walked up next to Anubis. She couldn't wait to meet the rest of the pack. It would be a pleasure to do so. Ever since laying her eyes upon this place she had felt joy. Her heart beeting like the wings of a humminbird, she felt an odd feeling while standing next to Anubis. Almost like a safe feeling, or love, or home. She wasn't sure exactly, but it was a feeling she hadn't felt in awhile, so it was new. Nera turned her head to the young Alphess, "Dear Tola I do wish you would show us to the pack, I am very eager to meet them all, and to meet the Alpha Lucid." Nera grinned, and in a small, sub concious part of her brain, something whispered *I'm home*
ooc: If I posted out of order please tell me, I thought that Fadinechos had left. But I also havn't seen Fadingechos logged on at all lately.

Tola watched her brother leave until he was no longer in sight before he turned his attention to the two wolves. Each began to speak and give their little thank you for accepting me speech, which Tola listened to, though she'd heard it before. She flicked her tail behind her and eyed each of the wolves before speaking.
"Dens are this way. I thank you both for your compliments. As for meeting my father, I can make no guarentees as to when that will be. He's very busy." Though with what, she didn't know. All she knew was their territory had doubled at least and that he was away, talking to other packs she assumed. She looked to them both, before turning and padding her way toward the den area. She occasionally glanced back to make sure they were keeping up with her large strides, since she herself was larger than the both of them, before continuing on at an easy, but swift pace. Her normal pace, to be exact, though to smaller wolves, it would seem almost a jog, depending on how well they could keep up with her and with their size. Soon, they neared the den area, where she gestured toward the empty caves deeper inside the cave. What she loved about the Mountains was that the cave they used as a den had several smaller caves deeper inside, giving each wolf privacy and a deeper sense of home, able to allow them to make their own place, as well as feel connected to the rest of the pack. The pack was her family, and she loved being able to be so close to them, though she also enjoyed having her time apart from them as well. "This is the den area. As you can see, there are several smaller caves inside. You may choose one that suits your needs that is not already occupied, grab some bedding from the community pile, and make yourself at home." She turned to the two wolves and gave a polite nod before looking around the cave, taking in its security that it had brought her since she was a pup.[/blockquote] ((I tried to pump out some sort of post. Hope this works.))

Anubis walked alongside his friend a few steps short of his Alphess. It would be easy enough for him to keep up with her but he would remain courteous to the other fae for although it was obvious both could care for themselves he felt more aware that an Alphess wouldn’t wish disturbance in a time of ruling when a clear mind could be essential. He had nothing of grave importance to say and as a result he would not trouble Tola. His black pads and white furred paws trod the snow with ease leaving large paw prints that matched those of Tola almost but completely dwarfed those of fae Nerakuma. The male was by no means intimidated to have found a female larger than himself. If anything it was fascinating though it would also be rude to pry. But in his silence he couldn’t but wonder to whether such genetic coding came from the father, or even more amazingly would be the mother. Whatever the answer his acquaintance with the true Alphen pair was greatly anticipated.
As Anubis strode proudly on the wind once more stroked his fur, teasing at the whiskers on his brow and whispering sweet nothings to his ears. His tread was met with that of the earth as she touched his pads with her own. He felt the love he had felt in the cold snow back home, the winter Goddess was indeed a cruel lady but he loved her icy touch on life, her burning breath in your throat more than anything he’d ever felt. Except maybe equal was the warmth and the love of his mother. The dens rose up before them. A glorious cavern filled with interlocking networks of caved that drove further into the mountain itself. Some deeper than others, those that went further grew warmer as the icy blast could no longer reach them. The smell of wolf was rich here and it was so very pleasant. Almost nostalgic. One scent he recognised. Elva. Then that of Echosong filled his nose and he smiled at the memory of meeting them so very briefly before. He smiled and bowed.
“Thank-you good Alphess. It is a true honour to be welcomed into your home and I could only love it more with each moment that she whispers to me. I will live here happily I feel and owe that pleasure to you and your fine brother.”
Anubis was no kiss-ass. He simply held the capacity to love that was almost too great for his large size even to handle. He followed his nose then as his gate swayed behind him as charmingly alluring as could be possible of a male as he made his way into the dens. He found a small cave that was close to the entrance so that the cold wind could lull him to sleep. He also ensured it would be near Elva. He’d already grown fond of the little lady and he would protect her from the sleet with the use of his own body if needed. He smiled at his new home as he sat in its yawning mouth, his head taking in every crevice to its perfection. It even held room for another, maybe even a family. This would suit him perfectly one day.. If that time would come.
Raising himself with the very slightest glimpse of joy, to a keen eye, he made his way back to the fae’s to bow deeply to them both.
“Lady Nerakuma. Do you wish me to help you transport some bedding to your desired location? It would be no trouble on my part and as a friend I would like you to feel just as welcome here as I. Is there anything I can do to help?” =]
He stood, his pose proud but not prideful not arrogant. He was happy. Just like he would be when surrounded by the white snow and the grey rocks that matched his pelt. Anubis was built for the Mountains.

Nera's head shifted side to side in a "no". She wouldn't be neading any other further help from Anubis, she didn't want to be a bother. But then she thought about it. Maybe this was just what she needed to make friends, to spend some quality time to get to know him. So in objection to her own words she opened her maw and sighed heavily. "I guess I could actually use your help with the bedding. In return I could help you as well if you wish." she smiled gingerly at Anubis, flashing her pearly teeth and flicking her cookie dough tail. She liked it here.
The mountains was never a place that Nera thought she would end up, but surprisingly it appealed to her very much. The wolves seemed kind, and she had now found a friend in Anubis who no matter what seemed to always be a gentleman. With a sudden brisk movement, Nera looked at Tola, "I understand, your father is a busy wolf with being one of the strongest and all, I just think it would be fit to actually come face to face with my alpha." Again she smiled. But not showing her teeth, she didn't want any aggression to even be thought of.
Nera's mind started to wonder when a plethora of memories washed over her. She thought of the discussion that had gotten her this far. She thought of the words she said about "Not NEEDING to be here" and it "not being a desire to live in this pack" and she suddenly felt guilty. She sighed once more and lowered her head. "I am sorry about what I said earlier, about it not being a desire to be here. I was just getting annoyed is all, with Fadingechos and I have this weird thing where my mood automatically becomes hostile around other females such as yourself. I apologize." Well this was odd. Nera wasn't used to apologizing. In fact she hadn't remembered the last time she had apologized to someone. Then again, before she had never needed to apologize.

The brute watched as the fae before him shook her pretty head. It was all fair enough that she should say no, after all he could easily be appearing to intrusive, to forward. Something in her eyes changed then however and she sighed. Her words spoke then of an acceptance of his offer followed by an offer of her own. The he-wolf then smiled brightly back as she gave the first gesture, followed by an oh-so charming flash of her tail. It was clear from then that she was thinking, and rather deeply so Anubis waited. He knew it could be an annoyance to have one’s train of thought interrupted and so he would not put such a fate on the fae. Turning his head to face his temporary Alphess he smiled as Nerakuma spoke to her, her words respectful but to the point, with a hint of trying to avoid stepping on one’s paws of higher order than one’s self. This fae knew how to act in such an environment, even if her words did not always come out right at the start. The brute smiled a little to himself as his eyes engaged between Tola and Nerakuma. Such wonderful people to meet, the scene complete if only Crow and maybe even FadingEchoes could accompany them here. Here his thoughts continued to dwell, idly but pleasantly towards the Alpha’s son. A wolf he held with a very high regard and had made a mental promise to finish their spar whenever the opportunity arose. Acting like one’s inner child was indeed a fun thing to do and Crow felt like someone Anubis could truly enjoy the child’s company of as much as the adult’s.
It was curious to Anubis who felt compassion for all… well almost all. That one should find discomfort around others, others no less of her own gender let alone species. It mattered not however and the thought was stored away with no more concern. As the fae apologised and made an end to her turn to speak he so started his. Bowing his head to his Alphess in agreement to the notion of meeting his Alphen pair whenever was best while also making sure not to disregard her from the scene with all respect and a dashing smile. He then turned to the fae with another, very charming smile. Bowing his head lightly to show is absolute willingness to aid her. His black gums parted to his beautiful teeth and he spoke to her.
“Dear lady Nerakuma. Your help is not needed though your company is great, if you so truly want to help me in return then walk with me awhile. I consider you a good friend and would very happily spend free time in your company.”
His smile giving no sense of intimate love but the love he felt to all those he met that still would make his heart swell. Nodding once more he walked, ever so dignified, towards the bedding, the trident like marking on his rear swaying as he walked before he reached the bedding and lowered his great head and grasping a very handsome amount of the stuff before smiling towards her as he turned to her again. Showing your back to a lady was not courteous, so facing her he let the bedding fall from his jaws before asking.
“Where is it you desire to sleep lady Nerakuma? I shall take your bedding there if you wish to lead me.”

With a little smile crossing the femmes face she nodded to Anubis, " Well if you do not need any help consider yourself in dept of a favor from me. I like to return help." She winked at the brute. Only to then trot off with her head held high. She made her way torwards the pile of bedding. She started to examine it, wanting to pick only the softest to lay beneeth her while she sleept. She quickly and quietly let her paw graze the surface of a few peices she sought fit. Her eyes did not decieve her and those were the peices she chose, along with a few thicker peices to underneath so the stone ground would not cause discomfort. And with the pieces in her mouth she happily trotted back over to Anubis. Scooting a couple pices torwards her friend she dropped hers and smiled. "Anuibis, if your ready may we set off? I wish to take a nap before actually hunting for the pack. Got to rest these weary limbs and such. " Her voice was happy but had a hint of sleepyness as she raised a paw as an example of "weary limbs" to Anubis. She again picked up her peices and turned on her heels, facing her new home.
With the bedding in her mouth sucking her tongue dry, Nera couldn't wait to let it fall onto the floor of her den and just collapse. She was observing every wall and crack, every den being roomy and just enough for one wolf. Finding the perfect one, warmth being provided for the chilly mountian air. She dropped the bedding, waiting for Anubis to follow. Her eyes flickering and afraid she would collapse on the spot, she sat down hoping that it would solve.
((OoC:I was hoping maybe we could continue this into the night almost. I had an idea for a post but for when Nera falls asleep. Anubis is obviously included if you want, and Tola could be too.))

[Sounds nice and sure Anubis can be present, I'll post a reply as Sway is busy and if she wants to post I can move it to after her. But yeah, I'll work on a reply hopfully by the weekend and I'm happy to keep this going into the night ^^ xx]
The charming brute watched the fae as she walked, so pretty and very very nice. He smiled to himself now, of course not dismissing the presence of his Alphess. But they no longer needed one another so he would not disrupt her undoubtedly important thought with trivialities. Turning back to Nerakuma he smiled once more as she happily sought out the very best bedding. Anubis’ was perfect for him and he knew she would be looking for that same perfection. She then trotted over to him and his smile widened as she placed a small portion of bedding before him and asked for his readiness and then lifted a dainty paw. Anubis opened his jaws ever so slightly in concern and would’ve gone to lick it had she not already walked off towards her bed, he watched her go.
He gave no answer as she was already sitting down among her bedding, instead he went to join her, his walk perfect and elegant while masculine as his muscles moved to accommodate the minor requirement of their use. His sleet-like fur fell about him and he came to a halt just short of the entrance to her own little cave. After all, to enter a femme’s bed chamber without explicit permission just was not done. He smiled though and dropped the bedding just before like an offering and nudged it a little further forwards with a smile.
“Dear lady you look very tired and the sun must share your burdens so late in the day. I will take no insult to your sleeping, it looks as though you need it, without dampening your beauty of course, but I do not wish to be the kind to deprive a lady of her sleep.”
The Egyptian guardians name sake gave a smile as he lowered himself slowly onto the ground. He could be closer to her this way so less of a strain for tired eyes and a neck to look up to. He smiled reassuringly before moving his large muzzle towards her and his jaws parted. His naturally black gums submitted to his divine and deadly teeth and his pink tongue rested in his mouth. None of this was in any way seeable as a threat however as the opening maw was only so slight that it was a mere smile as the brute lowered his head and licked at the paw that had previously made the demonstration. Of course the fae could move away if she wished he certainly would not keep her from moving if she felt discomfort. He then moved his head away to a position of casual banter as he smiled down at the little fae before him and waited to listen to her words.

With a sudden look of surprise and lips forming an "O" Nera waited as Anubis licked her aching paw. She didn't find it strange nor akward, but rather a show of kindness and friendliness between the two and Nera was happy with such. She looked to her friend and started to answer his words with her own, sweet flowing and soft syllables. " Why thank you Anubis for your compliments. You yourself should get some rest for I am sure that our first day in the pack will be a busy one. Now you have stayed your welcome and I wish to close my eyes and rest. But please, don't be afraid to enchant me with your company any other time, when I'm not sleeping." Nera giggled slightly and smiled at the brute, his stunning sleet-like coat gleeming. Next to her warm, chocolatey brown fur and maroon markings, his coat seemed so cold. So much like the home they shared. And after dismissing Anubis she settled her body onto her bedding, but her ears still ready for any final words her friend had to say. Her eyes fell shut and she let out a heavy breath. Her bedding felt soft under her stomach and the cool walls of the cave kept the small femme comfortable. The den was already starting to smell like her home.
The sun had over stayed it's welcome as it settled beneath earth, taking a rest from heating and giving light to the wolves of Aelyn. The moon had taken it's place and, though it was only a crescent, it still managed to give a slim bit of light down on the mountian. It shone through the scarce trees and into the indents in the mountians that formed as dens. Nera lay inside, quietly sleeping while her mind rumaged through the dusty trunk of her memories. Finally settling and blowing the dust away from the thing she wanted the least to remeber, it stuck it in the projector and played in her head. But this time it was different. Same story, but different characters. There was herself, but instead sitting in her den next Anubis and Tola, all sound asleep in their own little corners of the den. When Nera shot up out of her sleep and saw the very same vision she had seen months ago, waters rushing in, heads submerging in the water, everyhting lost. But again it was too late and the waters rushed over the bodies that lay sleeping. And Nera lost them, she lost them to the waters while she still was kept alive. And with she screamed, a horrible, blodd curtling scream that would peirce the ears of any that lay sleeping. But in her dream she screamed, and her lips followed. Probably waking all. Her eyes opened and she jumped up, sitting and breathing heavily. What a nightmare.

The brute smiled at her gratitude but didn’t speak. He hand nothing of importance to say so wouldn’t interrupt the fae’s tired mind with pointless words. He merely nodded in silence before turning his great form to allow himself some rest. He strode over, his body swaying elegantly as he did so, his form poised and showing off his handsome self and all his qualities. He was not showing himself to the fae this was just the majesty with which he walked, the company made no difference. Rarely would it effect his air.
His stride led him to his previously chosen concave within the cavernous walls. It was cold and though it showed welcome in its feeling it was timid. This little domain was still unsure of her new lodger but Anubis would welcome this now personal piece of land to him as it would do likewise. He settled among the bedding and very quickly the domain warmed. Even the rocks surrounding him would increase in temperature hopefully giving an appreciated radiator effect to his neighbours. He smiled as he settled down now, his great head resting on his massive paws. He was big but his home bigger and he was now in perfect bliss as his home had embraced him. He knew now whenever he returned here this spot would always hold out her arms to him and call him home from very far away. His heart beat with love. It was so strong here he only wanted now to share this little cavern of his with a fae and their young. How he longed for the love he had to find the love of another. The land he adored, now he needed that perfect mate to give being to feel his strength and power that was so great as his love for her would be. He thought of who she may be, what she may look like, this sweetheart of his. He would know somehow and he would love her unconditionally. His hear beat loudly, once in it’s cycle as if calling to her. Beckoning her to come running to him. A single beat that would let her know he was here and he was waiting so that her single beat of her heart would meet his own and that they would pair up and complete one another. He smiled a little with sadness and longing but with love. He would find her.
The male had been sleeping, silently like the dead while one part of his min or the other was keeping itself keen. So it was an instant eyes open and leap forth onto his pads when a terrifying scream hollered its way around the den. The guilty fae was still shaking violently as Anubis ran towards her. He halted just before the boarders of her own bed and lowered himself so that he was close to her, his warmth and his scent hopefully comforting as his breath rode out with his words, hot in the cold night air.
“Nerakuma. What on earth has you so troubled!? Are you alright dear lady just let me know if there is Anything I can do to help you. I’ll protect you form any fear you have my word.”
With that his eyes were scanning her for any trace of harm while he kept the urgency from his voice he was fully alert to any threat to his friend or any other sleepers or now awoken that were sharing this space here in their homeland. His tail swished like a whip showing his power to any ill-wisher that was lurking, they would know that this wolf was ready and fit to fight.

The breathes of the fae steadied as she turned her head slightly to great Anubis. Her eyes were still wide as he settled next to her and she felt horrible. She had woken him from his needed slumber and he now had to burden himself by comforting her while she recovered from her nightmare. She sighed and shook her head.
"I'm fine, I guess. It's just...it happened again. It's like it's on a never ending rampage...like it's determined to destroy me completely..." Her voice trailed off as she looked at Anubis. She couldn't help but let her tears flow and she burried her face into Anubis's coat. They were new friends, and yet it was like they had known eachother forever. Her mind recalled her dream over and over again, replaying it like a a broken record. It wouldn't leave, no matter how hard she tried to push it out, it wouldn't leave. So Nera cried, she cried while the moon shone it's crescent face down on the fading snow of the mountians. And Finally, Nera lifted her tear staned face to meet Anubis's. Her words still couldn't be spoken for she was to shaken still, but her tears had subsided for she was all out of tears to cry. Though her heart was still heavy with sorrow for her missing family, the family she had lost a while back but had been brought back into her mind by her reacurring dream.

Anubis looked down at the fae, her face so very riddled with distraught. He lowered himself to her height as she continued to worry. Her maw opened and she spoke as best she could but it was clear to the male that she was still very much afraid. Her voice shook and her words trembled and soon tears were streaming down the cheeks of the dear lady. The male opened his maw to speak but was cut off as she buried her face into his chest and continued to sob. He was left momentarily stunned, his jaws parting and closing and then parting again. He had never had someone cry on him before and he wasn’t entirely sure how to react. His ears lowered and a reassuring smile spread softly over his features. He lowered his head and moved himself closer to her while whispering “Shhh, Shhh” like one would try to comfort those close to them if words cannot be found.
He felt her heartbeat as his beat too. She was terrified by this trouble that was clear but the male had no idea how to soothe her worried mind. Instead he looked around him. Wolves were sleeping and there were also a few eyes peering out of the darkness at the two as they lay together. There were empty beds too, the wolves that hunted and the wolves yet to arrive. He knew there would probably be many but he didn’t mind. He adored company, even those that would wake him in the night. He smiled softly down to the fae and gave her a reassuring little poke on the head with his nose before turning his majestic head to gaze out of the den’s entrance and out into the moonlight.
“Little Nera, dear lady Nera. Look out around you at the beauty that envelops you. See it’s majesty as it sees yours and know there are spirits in the world. There is not one God but many, Gods and Goddesses, Deities and Chosen Ones. Ancestors and Creators and all of them have a purpose. These are the ones that protect us when we need protection. They fill the bodies and join with and make love to our spirits and the spirits of our friends. They unite as all together from the ladybird that eats the aphid to the greatest Alpha and the weakest Omega. Our thought is energy that thus cannot be destroyed and so presence lives on, even if there is no body to host it, it is there. So there is never a need to cry for who we lose because their energy will surround us in what we breathe, eat and tread upon. Death comes to life and neither must cease to exist. As happiness must know sorrow and day must know night. The other side of the moon that makes us appreciate the one we don’t see. …. Sorry Nerakuma. I appear to be rambling. Just a few thoughts my mother passed down to me, I’ve always seen sense in them and believe in them. She would tell me these things when I was sad.. Or when she was sad. She needed to talk to someone and I was there, like I was there when she died and she told me everything she knew. But don’t you worry. I’ll look after you, I assure you as your friend that you will be safe by my side. And one other thing. Before you let your mind trouble you on such matters, I have slept plenty so do not worry your dear, gentle self of the possibility of disturbing me. I would consider myself a heathen if I had slept through your time of need when sleep can come so freely and frequently compared to a lady’s tears.”
The brute was smiling kindly as he looked down upon you. His body showed little signs of fatigue but efforts to convince him of sleep would be futile. He remained fairly still with the exception of the rise and fall of his chest as he took in the air of the mountains. He let Nerakuma rest against him for as long as she needed or would feel comfortable with as he smiled softly and let his presence chase away what horrific dreams would lurk in the cavernous blackness around them.
He looked out to the moon once more and his smile broadened just a little. He felt the water vapour in the air and smiled as he blinked before opening his eyes. The water vapour froze and formed little prisms of ice that glistened like diamonds in the silver moonlight. He smiled and hoped Nerakuma would like this little show of simple beauty and felt fairly sure that she would. Gazing down at the fae he smiled softly once more and waited to be assured that she would be okay, his mind still full of concern.

Anubis's words seemed to calm Nerakuma. like a majestic wave had washed away her tears and yet left her dry. Left her dry with no thought or anyway to remember what the dream was about. Nera just knew that her companions were accompanying her in her time of need and that's all that mattered to her at this moment. So Nera smiled, she beamed with the words Anubis had provided her with. And she stowed them away in the depths of her memory for later reading when she was sad. "The dream was of my past family. I lost my mate and pups to a terrible flood, and never got to see them again." it wasn't like Nera to speak of her past, especially that sensitive topic. Mostly she just strayed around it. But Anubis made her feel like they'd known eachother forever and liek they were meant to comfort eachother. So Nera felt safe with telling him the story. She was fine with it. Nera's tiredness finally came over her and she wanted so badly to fall asleep. But she felt as if she didn't want to be rude to her company, so she managed to hold her eyelids open enough to still be able to see who it was she was talking too. She would most likely have a long day tomorrow, and she didn't want that to be interupted with the need for a nap. So casually she looked to Anubis with a plead in her eyes and yawned. Showing her tiredness. "Thank you Anubis, your words have comforted me so. But I am afraid I must sleep now. I am very tired and a great day is ahead of us tomorrow."

The great sleet wolf had his own beliefs on the life that surrounded him but talking about them had always led his mind to think and it put him at ease. He never expected that another would take his views in and be just as soothed but that delightful beam that radiated form the fae at his paws made his own heart and his smile swell with happiness. He had to hold back from nuzzling her though he had leaned closer, just a little before remembering his etiquette. He felt a little embarrassed at this but hoped she hadn’t noticed, instead now he preoccupied himself with watching her and making sure she was well. She would no doubt need rest. His ears remained stationary, as did his mask but inside he was full of sorrow that one so dear could loose those dear to her. She could not deserve this, Anubis had sinned and still he could find ways to live in happiness and make those happy yet one so pure as she, how could they take such things from her.
“Nerakuma. I cannot think what could ever justify such an act. Nor can I imagine the horror of losing ones so very, very dear to your tender heart. Don’t cry though soft Nerakuma, though I’ll dry away your tears every time.”
He gazed at her in silence knowing that her mind was wearily trying to think on despite the craving it must have for rest. Her eyes were pretty as they met with his own and he understood them at once. Some may miss that tired, longing for a bed to lie in and have a place to feel safe where you could slumber. Anubis saw it in less than an instant and he was sure she would see this understanding in his own orbs. He bowed his head just a little in a brief nod and then turned his head back into the moonlight.
“Do not worry for that, I know that you need to sleep and would not wish to burden anyone with yourself, though I do not feel it is a danger you should concern yourself with. You can rest now, have no worry for me. I can look after myself and the rest of us who sleep here tonight..
His eyes drifted as his head remained fixed. His gaze was falling momentarily from wolf to wolf to wolf as they slept or stared back at him or out into the night.
“Would you like me to spend this night here in your company? I will only be over there in my own bed but I have no objections to keeping you warm here for the night. That I leave entirely up to you.”
His head turned to his bed as he spoke before his final gesture was a smile that fell down to the fae before him and he sat there with that smile as his ears listened for her answer but she had already fallen asleep. The brute smiled down at her before rising and walking a small distance away and then setting himself down and finally going to sleep.
{00c - I think that's prety much everything that can be done here now so unless Tola has anything to add or anyone else wants to join me and Trix are ready to close this thread. Thank-you all for making it brilliant and Crow, we gotta finish that Spar ^^ xx}
