Tola gave a once over for each of the wolves present and nodded in accordance. They didn't seem to want to give her much aside from their names, but they seemed to her to be well-intentioned enough. She pondered a moment more, tallying the numbers in her mind to how many wolves were actually in these lands. She flicked her tail briefly before focusing her glowing eyes upon the wolves before her.
"Forgive me for taking so long to come. It just so happens that there is a lot going on both inside and outside the pack. As it is, I feel that you are all well-intentioned enough that I believe you are all going to be valuable assets to the pack. Welcome, to all of you. Shall I show you to the den area?" Without waiting, she began to turn, though she kept her pace slow enough for the wolves to follow her with ease... it was almost as if she was at a standstill for her, but to the other wolves, it would be a comfortable walking pace. She climbed upward, over the rocky and earthy terrain, higher up into the mountains, where the lands began to level out slightly as they drew nearer to the den area. Over one more small jut in the mountain and around a bend she moved, before the den area finally came into view. She took a deep breath, drinking in the scent of her pup-hood and of her home, noticing the faint scent that her parents had left and the even fainter scent that Haven left after he moved on from these packlands. She sighed to herself at the thought of her brother, wishing she could talk to him and voice her thoughts about their father to him. Clearing her mind, which only took a moment, she gestured toward the wolves and the dens, inviting them into her home since birth. "Please feel free to choose your den. Within the open den area, there are several passages deeper into the mountain that you can claim for your own, but make sure you confirm that no one else claims the den you choose. Other than that, make yourselves at home. As for me, if you have nothing further you need of me, I will take my leave. I must scout the lands for other loners, such as yourselves." She looked at the wolves around her, seeing if any of them had anything further they needed of her.[/blockquote]

Roan padded along with the crew of adopted waywards, each with their own story alike his only different. They all had in common the one fact of finding the mountains and calling it home. The extreme mountains seemed to call to a certain breed of wolf, the ones who had always lived a life out side the flower patch. This place was not a home to cowards or weaklings. Though Alten has eluded his reasoning for coming here, Roan knew it was the pull of the mountains that let him settle here. He was the same breed of wolf as himself. That thought tugged at Roans throat forcing him to swallow the distasteful knot down and out of sight. He shivered a little but pulled it off as a little shake mid step. He didn't have to follow these wolves to their dens, he could have just bounded off and looked for more metal deposits, but the arrival of the stand-in alphess had him curious, as well as just keeping the company of his new friends. Maybe he could learn something.
The one who called herself Tola, a wolf years younger than Roan himself had the power here. Her brother and parents were away thus leaving this youngster to her own will. She had the world on her shoulders right now, and it was interesting to see how the heiress was to rule. "I have a question." He sat his rump on the mix of rock and sand that lay near the dens, his long tail trained behind him. "What is on our King and Queens agendas these days? Iv been here 3 seasons and haven't seen them. Their scents have even begun to fade in their own lands." His left brow quirked a bit with his words. No disrespect lingered in his voice, but rather a raw curiosity.

Bloodeye listened to Tola without saying a word, merely nodding her head as she asked to be forgiven for her long absence. Bloodeye herself knew of the business and priorities of being a leader. It wasn't always easy, especially when you were always watching your back at the same time. Each of her tails sway once as she heard Tola say they were all welcome, and were likely to be valuable to the pack. She may no longer be a leader, but if she could still be useful... well perhaps this wouldn't be so bad. Besides, she had started things out with Roan and DILIVI, and she hadn't really had friends before. Not like this. She'd known loyal wolves and love interests, but not real friends. Those to confide in and sleep beside at night - she would enjoy such things with these wolves.
Bloodeye followed with curiousity and Tola began to lead them to the den area, and encouraged them to seek out dens of their own. That would be interesting. To sleep amongst comrades, without feeling like you had to keep an eye open as you slept. That, or sleep alone just to feel safe. But that was not to be the case here. She peered into well-desiged den. She wondered where Roan would choose to nest. She wanted to be near him, and she wanted DILIVI amongst them as well. If anything, it would help them bond further. They hadn't been altogether for long, and it would take more than just one incident to carve the depth of their friendship in stone. She wasn't sure why she felt so strongly about this now, but it meant much to her, and she couldn't help but let her chest swell with content.
She tilted her head and a curious brow raised as the bold Roan asked about the absence of the alphas. She smirked. Was he trying to see if the pack held any weaknesses? She doubted he would try to take advantage of it, that didn't seem like him from what she knew. Yet, his questions made her curious too. How well-organized and protected were these lands without their alphas around? Gone so long, in fact, that their scents were scarcely present. That either meant weakness in the leadership, or someone was terribly wrong and they wouldn't be returning. Bloodeye wanted to know where these so-called greats were, but she was also eager just to settle in, but that could wait now until her curiousity was sated.
