Bloodeye lifted a brow and looked to Roan as he spoke, shrugging her shoulders. It almost seemed to her as though he doubted her. She didn't really care what he thought though. There were other things to talk about and distract themselves with until these so-called Alphas appeared. Roan had mentioned tight security around these parts, and it made her snort with laughter. This place was a joke from what she could see. New pack members greeting other new pack members. That was not what she would call thoroughly guarded. She could have waltzed in with an army and claimed everything by now, and she doubted they would have shown their faces at all. Impatience grew within her, but she tried not to let it show, instead tilting an ear as Roan asked where she had come from. There was no harm in the question, though she doubted he would have heard of the places she had ventured through.
"I have traveled much
" she stated, her voice calm and smooth, "I was born in an awful place... my father's Hurricane pack. I did not remain there long, luckily. Instead, I decided to venture, and found myself in the lands of the Moon, where I reigned over a pack for a short time." Her lip curled, and she wanted to go off about how many wolves had turned their backs on her and deceived her, even those who she had trusted with her life. But she would not drone on. He had asked where she had been, and that was all he needed to know for now. "Because my stay there was short-lived, I found myself in another place called Fathom," she continued, tails flicking slightly, "The lands were marginally better, but all good things must end, right? I am lucky to be alive today, as many of my packmates from that place are long dead. Whatever it was that struck us hit hard and fast, and I never did find out what happened to those whose bodies I could not find..." There was little more she could say about that. She had no answers, and doubted she would ever find any; she had no intention of returning to that place, so her questions would forever be unanswered. Shifting her body weight, she looked him in the eyes, canting her head to the side. "I hope that is sufficient to sate your curiousity," she said carelessly, "I can imagine you've never heard of the places I've been?" It was hardly a question, for there were not many in the lands of the Moon that she would not recognize, and everyone that lived within the reaches of Fathom were either dead or bound to their homes. Few ever left that place, so it was unlikely he'd been there and left to tell a tale. She would probably be there right now if her pack had not perished right under her nose. Sighing, she glanced around to DILIVI, then to Alten, and back to Roan, awaiting to see what he had to say.[/blockquote] Ooc I apologize. I struggle with my muse quite often, but yes, I am still here. It would be cool if the Alphas showed up soon... are they active?

ooc: yeah, and i have nothin to do with roan but be nosy! Lol Shadowed maybe try and change the title of the thread to TOLA/Open in stead of alphas open. I know that Crow is in several threads right now and its getting to be a chore for punk, so maybe try for Sway/Tola?

Ooc Alright so I changed it. Jeez, I kinda wish everything was in one main thread so nobody would get ignored like this... it's too much for one or two people (alphas) to keep up with -all- of these threads XD

((I noticed you placed Tola for a reply... At the current moment, I have little to no muse for any RP posts, which is why I left PunkWolf for replying to things. I will try to come up with a post, however, I will also try to see if PunkWolf can get a post out with Crow as well.
Lucid and Mira are away from the packlands, but Crow and Tola are in charge... if neither of us reply by the end of the week, I will make a post, though I fear it might not be the best of posts, okay?
And members have one week to post in threads, so you need to give it at least that long before any other posts should be made. Not to mention, RP boards are for RPing only, so please keep the OOC chat to a minimum.))

Roan huffed slightly, he hadn’t asked the seemingly carless fae about her life story, and even less did he want to hear a smart remark at the end of it. He rolled his shoulders forward as his gaze pierced her like her quills could have pierced him. His muscles rolled under his short pelt, making his black and white stripes seem to wave like the night time water. His thick mane blew around his face as a bone chilling breeze swept down to them from the open mountains, but he felt nothing from it.
He found so much amusement in others, almost just as much as he found in his own alchemy, but like his powers and the science behind them, it was often unexplainable. He scanned the horned one with a raised brow like he wasn’t impressed, but showed no intention he was trying to provoke something, “Try and imagine this M’lady; There are places out there, monsters, that us other 3 have been to and experienced. Things I can imagine you’ve never and could never fathom as the same is probably vice versa. You’re not special because you know a place I do not know of. Your outward attitude doesn’t match the persona of a leader, but rather a wanna be or a washed up has been, wishing on the glory days.” He licked his lips and softened his gaze, taking in a breath and collecting himself, realizing he sounded harsher than he wanted to be, “What Im meaning to say is… try and lower that defensive mask you’ve been wearing since we’ve gathered, and show some humility to potential pack mates. Not trust, but some likeable emotion besides being on-guard.”
He was getting rather annoyed with the situation and himself, but like he was sure he was getting on her nerves, she was getting on his. Deep down he rather liked the back and forth, and he did like hearing her little story, but he felt he needed to do something about her remark at the end. He felt it almost as a put down, and he was through with those damn put downs and shallow remarks from others. He didn’t want to upset her any further today than she had already been pushed, but he was drawing a line, and in here, his line was not going to be unnoticed.
“And with that, yes, I’m satisfied.” His expression had lightened to a small smile with the last comment, along with it came witty eyes with a gentle undertone. He wanted to see what this gal was really made of on the different levels.
ooc: Sorry.. muse struggle.. lol but it gets the point across i guess. XD

An ear flicked back as he raised a brow at her; the look he was giving her told her that he was not impressed by any means. What had he expected out of her? He had asked where she had come from to have never heard of Aelyn, and that was what she'd told him. She despised the tone that he used with her as he began to speak, and his words caused her hackles to rise furiously. By what means did he believe she was belittling him, and who did he think he was to besmirch her persona with his unknowledgable words? If he had wanted to get a rise out of her then he had gotten it. But she was so taken aback by his sudden outburst, so hurt and disgusted and bewildered all at once, that she could not come up with an appropriate action even as he silenced and composed himself to say something more.
His next words were softer, but no more comforting. She ground her teeth as she let him speak, her eyes reddening further and burning, resentment searing within her. Finally he had finished speaking, his eyes casting her a witty look, only angering her more, for she was too upset to catch the gentler look and the smile behind his eyes. She rose to all fours, claws grasping the ground as though to balance herself. Overwrought eyes searched out his gaze, and she hissed as she contemplated what she should say, or do. And then she broke. "So, it's emotion you want, huh?" she spat, her voice cracking even as she did so, "Why don't I just pour my heart out to you, a stranger to me, how would you feel about that? Is that what you want?" Her tails lashed the air and she whipped her head around, glancing to Alten and DILIVI, then back to Roan, her glare full of spite.
Breathing heavily, she parted her jaws once more, lip curled on one side. "You seem to think you know me so well... but you know nothing of me," she said lowly, "You do not know all the wolves I've met.. all the wolves I've trusted, and thought I loved. What would you know of being a leader? What do you know of having wolves you trusted turn on you, their fangs begging for your blood? How many times have you been betrayed? How many times have you been abused, abandoned and left behind?" She choked on her words, muscles quivering as an unmanageable flow of emotions invaded her mind and heart; her chest ached and her jaws clenched, wishing she could tear something apart, anything, anyone. Her eyes remained firmly fixed on Roan; she wanted to destroy him, to rip him limb from limb for bringing this all to the surface, and yet, at the same time she wanted to throw herself to the ground beside him and let her fate rest in his paws.
It was then that she slumped to the ground, resting her head on her paws as she continued to look upon Roan. The rims of her eyes burned with the raw emotion that surged through her. "I do wish upon the glory days," she said softly, "You have no idea how much I do... but if I think back now.. what was really so great about any of it? Nothing, that's what. I've never known anyone for more than a year, not even my own children." She nearly wailed as she spoke of them; their whereabouts and status of life or death were unknown to her. She cared little for her bastard son Ehrgeiz; he had been a rebellious, hateful little scamp since the day he was born, and like so many others, had wanted her dead for what seemed to her no reason at all. But her daughter, Blackeye, who bore the name of her deceased sister.. where could she be? Was she even alive? It brought great pain to her heart to think that she might be dead, even thinking of her son brought her sorrow and shame.
And now shame hung over her like a black cloud, and she closed her eyes. She was pathetic and angry and cold, but most of all she was broken and ashamed of everything that she was. Maybe she was just a terrible wolf to be around, and maybe that's why everyone had wanted her dead or gone. Curling her paws under her chest, she tilted her head, her horn supporting her skull. Sighing, she looked again to Roan, flicking her ears back. "Well, pack mate.. now that I've opened to you," she said solemnly, "What will you do for me? Shun me? I wouldn't be suprised.." Then she looked away. Bloodeye was an emotional being, one locked beneath layers of hatred and spite, afraid of what the world might think if she cried or betrayed weakness. Currently she felt like she was just a child, and she thought that maybe after all this time she was not as grown up as she had assumed herself to be. Huffing, she shook her head, curling up and awaiting whatever other words of reality might strike her next.
Ooc Hmm I don't know why but for some reason I got really into this post emotionally. Sorry if it seems weird. XD.

"There’s a hole where my heart once was" DILIVI
”Hush now my baby, be still and don’t cry Sleep like a rock by the stream” ”Sleep and remember, this river lullaby I’ll be with you when you dream” xxxxx DILIVI's eyes widened as she watched Bloodeye get so worked up over what Roan had said. It didn't surprise her when the fae got defensive and rose from the ground. DILIVI, herself, felt heartbroken as she didn't want to intrude upon what this fae was doing. Bloodeye needed to get some anger out before it ate her alive. DILIVI would not claim to know exactly how the varg was feeling, but she would claim to have walked down that lonely path of self-pity and sorrow before. And she would claim that it had led her nowhere.
The questions struck home for DILIVI, even though they were not directed towards her, but she couldn't help the thoughts and memories that were brought to the surface of her mind. Her mind could help but wail the answers out, and she hoped dearly that none of these vargs around her could read minds. 'I was once a leader- but my pack is dead! I was still a pup when I was cast out- turned on by my own pack! My mate left me because his pups were not perfect! Don't let these things make a monster out of you!' Her mind shouted out.
DILIVI turned her head away from Bloodeye, it pained her too much to see how much this fae was suffering- how similar she was to what DILIVI had once been. But her ears still tuned in to her words, something she wished she could turn off for once in her life. Who didn't wish for the glory days? DILIVI wished everyday that her pack was still there, that Sabbath was still her beta, running side by side and giving all the wolves who had been cast out a home. And her children? DILIVI knew all too well of the feeling. It was something she never wanted to dwell on ever again.
Looking up, DILIVI softly padded over to where Bloodeye was now laying on the ground, giving the broken down fae a small nudge with her muzzle. "I will understand you," She murmured cryptically. A brief thought of where the alphas or betas of the lands were crossed her mind, but still she stood beside the fallen varg, standing tall. It may have been painful, but it made everything a little better to know that DILIVI was not the only one who had been put through so much cruelty by the gods.

The striped brute really tried hard not to express pity in his eyes; for he knew when someone was in that state the last thing they wanted was pity. Salt on an open wound was nothing compared to pity on tattered pride. He was kind of bewildered by her outburst to his comments, his head drew back and his face expressed shock as he slowly stood into a standing position when she stopped to take a breath.
As she spoke of being abused, abandoned and left behind his left ear fluttered a little. What would he know of it? He would know a lot. It was his life never being accepted for the monstrosity of a hybrid he was. No normal wolf pack accepting him except to be used as an ace in the hole against enemies. Used as a monster. Treated as a monster. It was his life; up until now. Now, at this very moment, he sort of felt like a monster for provoking this. He felt for her. She had a lot pent up as he had suspected by her first outburst, but this was completely unexpected. He had always been an outcast, so his feeling were less hurt by the fact that others had shunned him, wanted him dead, or turned their backs on him. Maybe it was because he was male that he wasn’t so affected by emotional matters, but when it came to others and their emotions, he really did begin to feel then.
Once Bloodeye fell to the ground and spoke of him shunning her, he took a step forward, without following through with it he paused. Why would he shun her for such things? What she spoke made no sense, but then again after having everyone you knew and love shun you, why wouldn’t a stranger? The logic wasn’t there, but the complexity of thought and hurt feelings were something logic could never truly express. From his peripheral vision he saw Dilivi move toward Bloodeye to comfort her. He had a distinct instinct to do the same; a damsel in distress was something he could not ignore, let alone this lovely one.
Roan calmly padded to the other side of the slumped lupine from which Dilivi was on and immediately, without hesitation pushed his strong large neck muscles along the side of hers, stooping to her level. He was much larger than her but he was as gentle as a pup pushing against her, his long, red scaly tail moving around his side to rest its tuft of fur on her tail. By doing this it was a risk. There were sharp quills in there that could easily be thrown into his neck or head at this point, but he was saying he trusted her by this. He really did feel he could trust her after this… if she would let him. He quietly spoke, his eyes looking intensely to the forest behind her as it was all he could see, “If you feel better after this...then i am truly satisfied.” He knew that when things get pent up, it can ultimately lead to self-destruction. Sometimes letting it out, even to strangers who wouldn’t judge you for it can be the start of some sort of healing; something Kiri had taught him. He however, when things started to pent up for him personally, he’d just throw rocks around and attempted to dismantle mountains, something that he’d never accomplish but it’d leave him feeling better. His eyes closed, hoping she wouldn’t try to kill him.

The defeated femme looked up as she felt a soft nudge, and she was surprised to see DILIVI lingering over her. The demoness’ voice was cryptic, as though she herself had no heart, yet to Bloodeye it felt that those words had more truth to them than if they had been said in a soft and gentle voice. But why was that? She knew that it could be for one reason only; the fae had suffered as she had, and she did understand. The horned fatale felt abashed by the show of comfort, and the willingness with which it was shown. She did not know what to say. Should she thank her? Should she smile? Nothing more than relief was shown upon her face as she nodded to DILIVI. ”You have suffered as well,” she said, her tone low as she gave an acknowledging look. She did not wish to discuss it if it would upset the femme, so she left it at that, knowing that words would be passed if the desire to speak them was there; if not, there was little more to say, and she would not press matters.
Then Roan made his presence known again by sliding right up next to her, endangering himself by allowing his vital areas to come so close near her tails, yet her strong urge to strike him had left, and she did not move. But again, the show of comfort took her off-guard, and she could not find the words to speak her gratitude for the acceptance and understanding she felt. None had pushed her far enough to reveal her innermost hurts, and most wolves had just challenged her with tooth and claw and left her to her own devices. But these wolves knew what was going on. It was different, but it was not a feeling she couldn’t enjoy. As he spoke, her pride tugged at her, trying to tell her that nothing was wrong, nothing had ever been wrong and that she did not need anyone coddling over her right now. But she knew better. She needed friends now more than ever, and these wolves were offering, in the least, an ear to listen and a shoulder to cry on; she would let time tell if these wolves were to be trusted as real friends.
For now, she allowed herself the luxury of feeling safe and relaxed with these two wolves. Their quiet understanding was something she had never been able to feel around anyone else, save for maybe one wolf, but he had long disappeared as well. She just hoped that these wolves would be around for a long time, and not vanish, die or change their minds about her. Despite her own self, she knew she needed to try harder not to feel so defensive about everything, and allow herself the freedom of this feeling. Being open and honest and allowing the consequences to come as they will; right now she did not regret a single word spoken, for she felt better than she had in a long time, except for the fresh heartache that gnawed at her. But it was better than feeling bottled and angry. Allowing her gaze to rest on Roan, she let the smallest, meekest smile turn up the corner of her lips. I do.. feel better,” she said, nodding her horned crown, ”It‘s not everyday you get to release all of the hatred out of your heart, and have wolves who are willing to listen and understand.”
Her scarlet gaze travelled between the two wolves, an unbridled gratefulness showing through. Taking in a deep breath, Bloodeye rested more easily, glancing briefly over at Alten; she wondered what he felt, or what he thought, or if any of this was relevant to him. Maybe he was bored, maybe he felt awkward, or maybe after all of that yawning he had just fallen asleep. Bloodeye didn‘t know, but she averted her gaze from him and looked back to the two by her sides. ”This means a lot to me,” she told them, flicking her ears, ”Thank you, both of you.” What else could be said? Her ears stood perked now, wondering if DILIVI or Roan had anything more to say. As she was sure they all were wondering, her mind scanned briefly over the thoughts of alphas or betas, then reverted to the present.

"There’s a hole where my heart once was" DILIVI
”Hush now my baby, be still and don’t cry Sleep like a rock by the stream” ”Sleep and remember, this river lullaby I’ll be with you when you dream” xxxxx DILIVI allowed a small smile to linger on her face as Bloodeye finally understood that she too had been there. She had been the brink of loathing and hatred and though it made you feel like you were more powerful than anything, it would only bring demise. The fasted Bloodeye realized this, the faster she could truely gain power beyond her imagination. Slowly stepping away, DILIVI looked toward the mountain with a small snort. "Where are these alphas and betas that you spoke so highly of before?" She questioned, looking back to her companions. Out of the corner of her eye, she could see Alten merely give another long yawn followed by a loud huff. He seemed to resettle himself on the dirt and content to just watching them do whatever they so pleased. A small bit of fury rose within DILIVI, the shadows at her feet growing hazy with her restlessness. How dare this ingrateful mutt who had basically triggered this entire episode just lay there and do nothing. But she held her tongue and kept her emotions from being displayed on her face. It just wouldn't do to create another conflict before she could even be considered to be accepted into this pack. To be truthful, DILIVI was beginning to tire from her travels and from dealing with ignorant brutes, a seeming acceptance, and a broken princess. All she wanted was just a place to rest, a place where she could sleep without worry and without her nightmares. Giving a wistful smile towards Bloodeye and Roan, she wondered if they were accepted into this pack, would they still rely on each other? Or would they separate and disregard this first meeting?o o c ; Sorry for being absent, problems at home. Are the alphas or betas gonna show up at all?

Roan allowed himself the pleasure of his guard being dropped, and having all others’ being dropped as well, but it didn’t last long. Although the scent of Bloodeye’s pungent pelt filled his nose and gave him euphoria, it was quickly bunt out at the thought of Alten, sitting on the side-lines like a jackass. He allowed himself to pull away gracefully and give Bloodeye a small smile, drawing his eyes from her to Dilivi and then she spoke. She was right, where were they? But in the scheme of things, this whole ordeal had only taken about 15 minutes, and in such a short amount of time, the leaders could have been dealing with other riff-raff. Roan thought nothing of it. If these way-ward strangers really wanted a home, they could wait one more night for it, and he would make sure they made it through that night if he must. He rather enjoyed this new aura of company, especially if this company was to become family. He rolled his shoulders after having been so crunched down to be level with the laying female, and his gaze followed Dilivi’s to the Mountain tops. “You aren’t the only new comers around here, and it’s getting late. We might have to wait until tomorrow. I would bring you to the dens, but they might have my head for it.” Roan’s eyes darted to Alten and his mess of yawns, his lip raising slightly, more so exposing his already exposed k-9’s expressing his dislike toward the brute. It wasn’t his place to exclude him from the venture at hand, that would be the alpha’s decision, but Roan really wished it was his at this point. "Alten, that thing I said about showing some like-able emotion goes for you too."
In a quick huff he whirled about, his tail grazing the soil as he did and with a nod of his head large sheets of mixed metals rose up and created four little rounded huts with open entrances like a dens. Each was a good enough size to fit them individually, Dilivi’s was large enough to let her stretch her wings a bit, Alten’s was large enough to let him sprawl out but nothing more, Bloodeyes fit her just right, and Roans was enough to let his tail out a little bit. Perhaps this would provide some comfort? He turned his head over his shoulder to see if there were any objections.
ooc: Yeah.... crazy few months for me too... Sorry guys. But if yall are still in the game, I am too.

Bloodeye returned the smile to DILIVI, ears perked toward her as she questioned about the alphas. Their eyes fell on Roan, then, for he had so valiantly defended the names of these high-ranking wolven. But where were they? The group had perhaps only been here a short time, but not so much as a howl had been sent their way to notify them that they had been detected, and seen to soon. She herself had never allowed newcomers to roam in her lands, or even on the borders, without dealing judgment one way or another. The least they could do was send a messenger to let them know what the situation was.
Bloodeye rose to stand beside her new friends, glancing between them as she wondered if any of them would bond and remain close. She dearly hoped so. It was not often she found company who she could not only tolerate, but who could knock sense into her without ever lifting a paw. Most quarrels in her day had led to bloodshed, so she was glad to have come upon such intellectuals, wolves who could control themselves and give light to a situation. Real adults, real wolves. Not bullies and adolescents. Ashamed, she felt she may be one of the latter, but at least with support there was a possibility for change and growth.
The horned femora smirked, waving her tails slightly as Roan mentioned that he could show them to the dens, although the alphas might have his head for such action. She'd have backed him up should the need have arisen. However, he seemed to have something different in mind, and Bloodeye watched with interest as large sheets of metal rose up from the ground by a simple nod from Roan's head. She sat back, her tails wrapping around her body protectively as she viewed what was being formed. There was a separate shelter for each of them, and Bloodeye took a moment to guess what den was sized for what wolf. Being the smallest, it was easy to tell which den would house her, though she had more difficulty determining which den would belong to the others. She supposed Roan would determine that bit.
Her eyes then shifted away from the dens and onto DILIVI, smiling briefly at her before her gaze moved straight to Roan. "That's an impressive power you've got," she murmured almost shyly, "But if we are to be pack, wouldn't we benefit most from sleeping side by side?" It was merely a suggestion; something she wouldn't mind at all. The ground was still cold from the past winter and with night approaching soon it would only get colder. In her opinion the night would pass by a lot more comfortably if they were all to huddle pelt-to-pelt under Roan's shelter. Not only would they keep warm but perhaps they would bond closer as well. She said nothing more, simply leaving the option up to Roan and the others.

"There’s a hole where my heart once was" DILIVI
”Hush now my baby, be still and don’t cry Sleep like a rock by the stream” ”Sleep and remember, this river lullaby I’ll be with you when you dream” xxxxx DILIVI was beginning to get restless. She never liked being around the same wolves for long periods of time. It just took that small amount of time for them to realize just exactly why they should fear her. Her looks, the shadows that twitched at her feet and the burned symbols along her muzzle. She was the depiction of a demon with the soul of a broken angel. The spikes along her back folded along her spine, only to flick back up in time with the swing of her tail. Every five flicks of her tail, one wing twitched, and after five more, the other wing, over and over again. She began to pace in a large circle, eventually meeting up with her paw prints and making sure to step in the exact same place as her last trip around. Her eyes flicked between the wolves she was with, the large mountain looming in the background, and the ground where she stepped in time with each swish of her tail. Her body was beginning to go on auto pilot and soon she wouldn't be able to tell who was talking to her and her replies may become monotone or cease to exist at all.
Her movements stilled at the metal huts were created and she let out the breath she didn't remember holding, her left ear flicking to the side. It took her a few seconds to kick back into gear, to get rid of that mechanical feeling, and her body relaxed, her maw forming into a smile. "I have to agree with Bloodeye, the shared warmth might do us some good in this snow. I know that I for one, am not a super heated wolf like some I have seen before." She couldn't help the flicker of the image of a young, russet red fae. Her sleek body brimming with power, scales along her body, and large horns atop her head. This fae, too, had roman numerals burned into her fur to remain forever. DILIVI couldn't help but wonder where Sabbath was now... or was the young wolf even alive?
[/blockquote] "Lost is just a word for those who have nothing left" Alten
”We run in circles No direction do I see” ”The dust has blinded you The dust has blinded me” xxxxx Alten shifted his weight to his left side as he grew tired of waiting for anyone to show up. He couldn't help but smirk as he noticed the timed motions of DILIVI, she looked like at any moment, she might bolt and leave for good. She looked almost afraid of something, but what, Alten couldn't figure out. But then again, he really didn't care to find out much about anyone and it was a surprise that he had even bothered to learn these wolves' names. Roan. Bloodeye. DILIVI. What purpose would they serve to him in the long run? Could he count on them? No. The last wolves he had counted on he could no longer find and the ones before that - his mother and father - chased him away with brutality that left Alten pleading for love of any kind. The love of a family he had found and lost, still remaining so.
He chuckled and swung his muzzle toward DILIVI at her comment. "Then stick close to me, sweetheart," He didn't miss how she bristled at the nickname, in fact, he enjoyed the look on her face. "I've got plenty of body heat to go around." He watched as DILIVI stepped closer to him, her wings (more or less) flared out. "Watch your tone, boy. You have no idea what you are messing with." Alten's smile remained as he took his sweet time to stand to his full height- which was much larger than DILIVI, for sure. He looked down at the younger wolf with some sort of glee dancing in his eyes. "I believe I am much older than you."
The air seemed tense between the two before DILIVI turned away with a huff, seeming to ignore that she had been wrong about the brute's age. "Whatever, I don't need to waste my time with you." A pause. "Just don't call me sweetheart again."o o c ; Huzzah! Alten is actually doing something for once. Wow, he's such a jerk, but he makes me giggle and DILIVI has some slight issues xDDDDD

She had watched the wolves converse long enough, having learned enough about their appearances, personalities, strengths and weaknesses to know she could easily handle herself with them if she needed to... not that she had any intentions of causing any issues... she merely knew they were looking for acceptance of some sort and she figured she should finally show herself and take charge, all things considered with her newfound information with her father and the long absence of Crow.
She flicked her tail and glided down toward the wolves from her perch higher up in the mountains, secluded and hidden by the snow. Her golden eyes peered over each wolf before resting on Roan.
"You should be careful as to what you say about these lands and the wolves within it. Not everyone here is bad, and I'd be especially careful about speaking of my father in such ways, should he hear you and come looking for you. You should know that, Roan." It wasn't a threat, but merely a friendly warning. She held the brutes gaze for a moment longer before turning to the other wolves in her presence. "So I assume you are all looking for a pack to call home? I assure you, so long as you remain faithful and do not cross anyone here, you're welcome to these lands. State your names, if you will, so I may know you better and better understand your intentions. I'm Tola, daughter of Lucid and Mira and acting Alphess in their absence." Since she was acting Alphess at the moment, she felt it was needed for them to give her as much information about themselves that they were willing to give before she accepted them into the pack. She flicked her tail calmly, standing much taller than most of the wolves present, if not all of them, waiting for one to speak up.[/blockquote] ((Hope this post is ok? I know its been long coming for a wolf to greet these wolves and accept them and whatnot... sorry.))

Bloodeyes first mention of sleeping together was like tang to Roans ears. It was impressive of this once untrusting and aggressive female to take such a step. To sleep with others who were not yet of the same pack was motion of trust. It had been so long since he himself shared the physical warmth of others, so long he had almost forgotten what it was like, and not remembering the details of such a bond forming thing made him almost uncomfortable walking into the situation. Suddenly Dilivi chimed in after and agreed to the snuggle and this made Roan blush in unease beneath the mane on his face. He shook it off, eyes meeting Dilivis but not before Alten gitiuped from his lazy ass and made a snarky comment toward the dark female. Roans lip rose to their dispute, but if Dilivi was once a leader in her own right, she also had the strength to deal with this humorous ignorance. He would keep out of fights for a while, at least until he’s established his spot in this pack for good.
Suddenly another female of white and gold barged into the foursome with a very royal air about her. Was this the alphess? Roan stood from his hind and dipped his maw slightly, eyes never leaving her daring her to speak. She looked to him first out of the group and spoke a warning to him about her pack. Roan couldn’t help but smile to this with a cool glaze in his eyes. The way she spoke of ‘her father’ only backed up his own warning to this group of wolves. He would deal with this Lucid when the time came, but as of now, he was of no concern to him.
This Tola looked quite opposite to her brother Crow. He was dark, with little white on him, while this one was White with golden flares upon her pelt. Ah genetics, a mysterious thing. Roan had always been grateful for the genetics he received. He looked more like a wolf than an actual dragon save his scaly overly long tail, large talons and teeth. This Tola had a different look in her eyes than her brother had, he couldn’t place it, but they were just very different….
“So you’ve heard of me. Good. “ Was all Roan said. He gave a prominent gruff smirk. This was a sign of a good pack if she had already heard of him. Last time he had seen Crow, he had left the lands… perhaps he had stopped this sister of his along the way? Anyway... the communication was good, even if the things she had heard of him was bad. At least she had heard of him. Roam looked to Bloodeye once Tola was done with her little speech, inviting her to speak first.
(( Im so sorry about the wait guys. Working full time, parents getting divorced and house getting foreclosed… Its a lot right now. I even thought about quitting for a bit just so you guys wouldn’t have to wait for me anymore. But I love this place too much… Ill find a way to make it all work. Im just sorry yall gotta wait for me to make it work. ))

Bloodeye tilted her head and flicked her ear as DILIVI went into a strange trance of sorts, moving in an almost ritualistic manner, though it was obvious that this was a sign of her restlessness. She wondered just how damaged DILIVI was from whatever she had gone through in the past; it just wasn't normal for a wolf to start twitching and moving in circles without any purpose. It was like she didn't know what else to do with herself. Bloodeye flicked one of her own tails, and it was not until after she had spoken out about Roan's shelters that DILIVI seemed to snap out of it. Bloodeye was pleased that the other femme agreed with her, though her eyes snapped toward Alten with extreme distaste as he suddenly spoke up, making yet another unnecessary comment. The white witch felt her own hackles rise as DILIVI approached him and gave him her piece of mind. His attitude was not charming in the least, and his words were so uncalled for. Shaking her head, she turned away once the other fae had settled.
A sudden shadow upon the ground caught her attention and she looked up to see the form of a wolf gliding toward them, landing before them quite confidently. She hoped this was not another newcomer with attitude, she'd had quite enough of it as it was. But it was soon made clear that this she-wolf was the stand in Alphaess, and her body language and tone commanded a certain degree of respect. Bloodeye glanced to Roan, for he was the first to be spoken to, and she was surprised to see that he held Tola's gaze with a firm stare of his own, the dip of his maw hardly noticeable. When she herself was acknowledged and invited to speak, she moved forward with her head even to her shoulders, her tails arched out and dangling behind her. She met Tola's gaze and nodded her head before parting her jaws to speak. "My name is Bloodeye, and I am here merely to join the pack," she stated, having little else to say about herself. She was no longer a Queen, she no longer had children in her life, she was a nobody, and to her, this would be like starting from scratch.

"Nightmares can no longer kill me" DILIVI
unpacked - unaccepted - shadow - unmated ”Take my hand Let’s go” ”Somewhere we can Rest ourselves” xxxxx Shaking her pelt, DILIVI calmed herself from her outburst toward Alten. She let the soft snow under her feet caused a relaxed sensation to flow through her body with ease. She felt the satisfying grating of her bare bones as her wings folded back against her sides, the skinless appendages tucking nicely against her fur. The spikes along her back settled down along her spine, barely noticable against her dark fur. Her odd colored eyes closed softly as her mind settled itself and she reminded herself that this was not the place to start going postal. She was starting over new. She needed to move on, forget about her pups whom had perished, forget about the joy of being alpha, forget about Sabbath, forget about the terror she had once faced. She now had a future, and if these wolves - Roan and Bloodeye in particular - remained with her through her life, she would be happy for once.
The notion sent a small shiver down her spine, but she surpressed it as an elegant wolf strided forward. She announced herself as the alphas' daughter- Tola. DILIVI let her eyes flow freely and look over the acting alphess. She was quite large, larger than herself, something DILIVI had grown used to as many wolves of the larger spectrum seemed to roam these lands. Giving a small, graceful nod toward Tola, DILIVI stood proudly, her tail lowered and her ears attentive. "I am DILIVI, I seek a home." She spoke, her voice soft, yet strong. She meant business, but meant no threat and displayed those intentions as best as she could. She certainly hoped that a future for DILIVI lay within these lands that she had come across. She certainly hoped so.
