Obsidian glanced from Masina back down to the adorable pup who stared with such beautiful curiosity. Without even blinking, the fiery wolf could sense the young one's incredulous curiousness.
"Well I found you in the Sacred Circle...and there was a word carved on the surface of your shell...'Celestia' I think it was. Beautiful...but I have no idea what it means..." explained Obsidian as he remembered each and every character etched in the mysterious blue surface of the orb.
Celestia...I...believe that is what I'm called...my designation... the pup raised her eyes and faced Masina mysteriously, almost as if she instantly knew who she was and where she was from. How could I have forgotten....?
A rush of memories sped through Celestia's mind---fire, pain, loss and agony. For most, this type of overwhelming pain could not be withstood; however, Celestia seemed beyond familiar with this type of effect.

Masina looked at Obsidian and then to Celestia. SHe was at a loss for things to say. She sat for a moment, seeing the visions of things going through her mind. She tilted her head to one side, seeing her own image for a brief moment. This confused her, though she shook it from her mind.
"So, Celestia is your calling? It's beautiful. What is your purpose? Or is it unknown to you as of yet? I noticed, and please forgive me for this, that there was a flurry of memories and images across your mind. I was merely waiting to hold more conversation with you and in turn, I saw many of what I believe are past lives or memories of yours... not to mention a brief glimpse of me." [/b] She flicked her tail and tilted her head to one side once more. She waited for the small pup to reply before she would say much more. She glanced toward Obsidian before returning her gaze back to Celestia.[/blockquote]

Celestia lowered her eyes toward the ground and stared blankly, attempting to piece together the constant flow of fuzzy memories blazing through her mind. She could vaguely see images of silhouettes rustling through the foggy mental vision. However, despite this surge of feelings and sensations, Obsidian's deep emotions seemed to leap out at her like a kangaroo. Celestia turned her sullen young eyes toward her founder and gazed deeply into his soul. There she found a hidden power---harnessed beneath years of pain, anguish and utter loneliness. Deep within that layer of agony, Celestia could see the beauty of a passionate desire. Something in which Obsidian has sought out for years.
I hope you have not given up on your desires and passions, Obsidian. After all, those are what makes us who we are as individuals.[/b] whispered Celestia, concentrating her telepathic focus upon the fiery wolf while shooting a nodding smile toward Masina.
"What on Earth do you mean?" Obsidian mumbled while staring at the pup with dumbfoundment. He unfortunately had not obtained the ability to converse telepathically; however, he could hear telepathic conversations from other creatures within his mind. "How could you possibly be aware of my desires? Are you that powerful? And if that's the case I'd prefer not to be probed mentally without any idea of what's going on."
Celestia wore a gentle smile and licked her paw, disregarding Obsidian's defensiveness, and trusting her own better judgment. Despite her young age and appearance, Celestia possessed the soul of an older creature---far more archaic than either Masina or Obsidian could possibly imagine.
You would be wise to trust my judgment. I can feel how alone you are...I too possess empathic abilities to an extent. You needn't suppress yourself because of who you could potentially love. Love is LOVE. No matter who it is with.[/b] Celestia replied confidently, once again nodding toward Masina, who no doubt was aware of what she was discussing with Obsidian.
Obsidian, still feeling a bit offended by Celestia's persistence, began to soak in what she was trying to say. He had never realized just how much he suppressed himself from the world around him. It was the definite source of his downright loneliness and utter despair.
"But I..." Obsidian was cut off in mid sentence by the younger wolf.
Go! Chase your passions, give in to that desire you've always wanted. Follow the water toward the plains, and that is where you'll find the answers to your problems...or...should I say, solutions? Celestia's telepathic voice trialed off with a slight chuckle, she knew what was going to happen.
Obsidian could not figure out why this wolf was telling him all of this and still delving into his mind. It was somewhat overwhelming for him; however, he managed to put that awkward feeling behind him.
"Wow..out of the mouth of babes... Obsidian joked as he turned and glanced caringly toward Masina, "Take good care of her, I will be back in a jiffy....to satisfy 'Miss Mind Reader' here I'll go to the plains and see what she is trying to say...Farewell for now my new-found friend."
While seeing the truth in what Celestia had to say, Obsidian still felt a bit apprehensive about leaving his new friend, Masina. It had been forever since he ever had a good friend. With some confidence, the fiery wolf gave one last nod to both Celestia and Masina before extending his draconic wings and lifting himself into the air.
Wind whipped around Celestia and Masina as Obsidian slowly diminished into the sky, off upon the adventure of his lifetime.

Masina didn't dare delve into the minds of Celestia or Obsidian as they spoke. She only heard one half of the conversation, forcing her curiosity down and allowing Obsidian to hold his own thoughts to himself. If he so wished for her to hear them, he would inform her himself.
Obsidian then took to the sky. She watched his form grow smaller and dimmer in the light and turned her gaze back toward Celestia in questioning.
"Where is he off to, if you don't mind me asking." [/b] She smiled at the small pup and curled her tail around her paws. She rested her wings gently at her sides and shook the fur around her neck slightly to readjust herself into a more comfortable position. "You didn't answer my question... why did I see myself in your visions when you had your memory flashbacks? What are you? And how do you know all of these things? I don't mean to cause so many questions and ask you so many things, but as you may or may not know, my curiosity tends to get the best of me sometimes and you intrigue me so."[/b] Her words hung true as her eyes showed nothing but wonder and curiosity at the small pup that seemed to withhold a realm of knowledge far beyond her years.[/blockquote]

Celestia smiled childishly as she glanced back up at Masina, knowing that she had many questions to answer. She would try to answer them to the best of her ability, granted she too was not quite familiar with her on origins.
Obsidian is starting yet another adventure in his life---on in which he'll find what he's truly seeking, in the plains.[/b]
Celestia lowered her eyes and tried to analyze a few more of those memories that seemed to be re-surfacing. Each little bit she sorted out seemed to grow clearer and clearer. Celestia found so many wolves in her lives---dark evil wolves...beautiful pure wolves, and even dragons! She no doubt forwarded these images toward Masina.
Does that answer any questions?[/b] Celestia questioned as she focused particularly upon the image of a wolf that looked exactly like Masina.

Masina watched the images run past, seeing herself with a group of many other wolves... and even the dragon! There were several wolves she recognized, having met them within these very lands. What was this chaos that she was seeing?
"That really just brings up more questions. I've never experienced these events, though they seem slightly familiar to me... I can't say how. Some of those wolves, I know them..." [/b] Her eyes grew wide as she saw an image of her brother. Her heart beat picked up pace and she shook her head, quickly recovering herself. "I know that wolf is me... I know those wolves are wolves I've met... but I can't recall those experiences within my life... how would you know such things if even I haven't experienced them?"[/b] She tilted her head to one side and flicked her tail in annoyance and wonder. This just completely baffled her.[/blockquote]

Celestia thought to herself, pondering Masina's somewhat tricky question. The young pup tried to put the equation together with her delicate yet intelligent mind, and managed to come to only one conclusion.
Maybe...I'm meant to remember all of this someday...perhaps...I was sent to this place...whatever it maybe called...to grow and learn---and maybe use what knowledge I have and what I eventually remember.[/b] Celestia smiled at Masina, pretty much assuring her that even she did not have all the answers to these logical questions. Like Masina, Celestia had an equal amount of questions---she did not really know why she was there at that moment in time, her only conclusion was that she maybe had a task to perform---or a role to fill.
Do not fret about this though, my child;[/b] Celestia stopped in mid-sentence, not knowing why she referred to Masina as 'my child'. Um...do forgive me...I meant 'my friend'[/b] Celestia corrected herself uneasily, smiling innocently at the larger wolf.

Masina listened to the pup, much like she would listen to one of her elders... this was an odd sort of charm that his little wolf had, she assumed... and something told her that this pup knew much more than she realized. She nodded to the pup, allowing her to see that she understood what she had said. Masina shifted her weight and tilted her head to one side.
In most cases, Masina would be treating a pup with a lot of respect, but not the respect that she felt the need to show toward this pup. This pup deserved and would receive, at least from Masina, more respect than she realized she was giving, thus Masina smiled kindly and waited for the pup to finish.
"So what do you suppose you should do? I mean, you're here for a purpose, as we all are... but somehow, I feel you are meant to show and do so much more than many of us who were here before you. Do you need a place to stay? You're more than welcome to stay within the Fukai Waterfall Packlands... though we lack an Alpha, I am the Betess and am more than willing to provide you shelter and food." She smiled kindly and nodded her head in deep respect for the small pup.

Celestia felt her heart warm under the company of this dearly sweet wolf. Never in her fondest memory could she remember a wolf offering her homage, it was almost unthinkable.
I would be delighted, and I thank you for your kindness. Ironically...I find your kindred spirit to be quiet familiar, Masina.[/b] Celestia whispered telepathically with a slight gleam in her eyes.
At this point, some more of Celestia's memory came back---even the name Masina rang a bell in her mind. By now, only theories went through wolf's thoughts, she could not jump to conclusions about her past unless she encountered other wolves that seemed familiar to her as well---granted Obsidian already seemed somewhat familiar.
So where then shall we go?[/b] Celestia questioned with innocence glowing in her beloved eyes.

Masina listened to Celestia as she spoke to her telepathically. Why Masina wasn't responding in the same sense was beyond her. She must have felt the need to speak. To onlookers, this would appear rather strange and many might think Masina was insane or confused, though this didn't even cross Masina's mind.
"Well, I can show you the cave area behind the waterfall that is the den area for the packlands? It's rather nice and not as wet as you might assume it would be." [/b] SHe smiled kindly and slowly stood, her wings glinting slightly with each movement. SHe waited to see if the pup was going to follow her or if there were any other suggestions or even questions that Masina could answer for the pup. She was quite a nice little one and seemed to be great company. A thought crossed her mind as she hoped dearly that her "Curse" wouldn't affect this pup as well. Then her mind flickered to Baztek, the one she had fallen in love with... and the one that she often saw little of. How would he react to Celestia? She was both intrigued and curious, before realizing her thoughts had carried her away and that her stare had probably gone blank in thought. She smiled at Celestia, wondering what the pup had in mind or what she felt the need to do. Surely she must be confused beyond imagination... she never had a mother, to Masina's knowledge, to teach her anything... Masina supposed that would fall to her, considering she would take care of anyone that came to the packlands and would gladly teach the pup anything she needed, not to mention answer any questions she could that the pup might have. She continued to smile as she waited for the pup to reply.[/blockquote]

I vaguely remember my mother...now that I at I think about it.[/b] Celestia whispered telepathically, sensing Masina's thoughts accidentally.
Reluctantly Celestia tried to get up and follow Masina, unfortunately for her, she could not figure out how to move her legs in the adequate motions that would allow her to walk like the more physically mature fae. Awkwardly, Celestia blushed and placed her paw over her nose in humiliation.
I guess the price to pay for having knowledge is not knowing how to walk...bloody hell.[/b] Celestia cursed her wolven legs.
The astral wolf glazed at Masina, hoping that she would assist her in learning how to actually walk---and any other bodily movement she may need to learn.

Masina watched as the pup attempted to walk. She seemed to be unsure of how to do so. Masina thought for a moment, wondering how she could teach someone else to walk. She had never had to do such things, but she attempted to do so anyway. Something that had caught Masina by surprise was the pups cursing at her lack of motor skills. Masina tilted her head to one side and shook it, remembering what she needed to teach the pup.
"Well, I can try to teach you. I've never had to teach anyone such things before." [/b] She tilted her head to one side before walking to Celestia's side and attempted to show her how to walk. "Put one paw out like this."[/b] SHe held out her front right paw and leaned slightly forward. "And then move the other paws and your tail like this. Your tail will help you keep balance while going faster."[/b] She proceeded to show the pup how to walk in slow, small steps. One paw in front of the other, each fluid motion present in each step. She turned to the pup after a few steps and nodded to her, to have her try to walk this time. "If you want to just have a ride to the waterfall, I can do that as well, if this doesn't work out right away..."[/b] It wasn't that she didn't have confidence in the pups abilities... she just didn't want Celestia to get too discouraged should she not be able to pick up walking right away.[/blockquote]

A vague voice came out of Celestia's maw in the form of an apparent chuckle---after all, she had not mastered the actual art of talking yet either---no doubt that would be something for her to learn at a later time.
Closely, Celestia followed Masina's instructions and miraculously managed to stand up. Carefully, she placed her foot in front of her and tried the other soon after. Just when she thought that she had her balance maintained, Celestia lost her bearing and collapsed right on her face. Agonizingly, she groaned from the fall and managed to pin one of her gossamer wings underneath her body.
I'm...so sorry...[/b] Celestia whispered...feeling so embarassed by her inability to move.

Masina smiled at the pup and reassured her. "It's okay... everyone has to start somewhere, not to mention most don't ever get it on their first try. Keep practicing. We can always try to continue later if you're wanting nourishment and a warm place to sleep." [/b] She smiled kindly as she padded to the pup and nuzzled her in a motherly fashion. "You did really well for a first attempt!"[/b] She smiled, trying to help the female in any way she could. SHe nosed the small pup, allowing her to get up off of her wing that she had fallen on and inspected her to make sure there was no damage done. She smiled at the pup and waited patiently for the pup to respond to her. "Are you up for trying again? or would you like some food and a place to sleep?"[/b] She waited patiently for the pup to respond.[/blockquote]

Haven flew through the sky, his blue tinted wings reflecting the sun softly. He had to find the waterfalls, and from up there, that wasn't to difficult. But finding Masina... well that was another story. If wasn't the fact that he had heard her name in his head over and over, he wouldnt have left his pack, but there was something not regestering in his mind. His father was hiding something and it had to do with this Masina femme. It was rather easy to leave his territory, the fighting of his brother and sister always in his head, his mother's feelings, his father's blank mind.... It just took a little good bye and he was out of there.
And like that he was headed right for Fukai Waterfall. His vivid crimson eyes scanned the ground for any movement. He spotted a beautiful white wolf with wings and a small pup. The pup seemed to be either injured, or trying to walk... It didn't seem that young though.... Trying to out of their minds, he glided down gently and landed a ways behind the pup. Haven's paws thudded against the ground with his massive size. At least his size wasn't an intimidation factor. The soft cream color of his fur and the blue flames on his paws just screamed sweetheart. However, his eyes were another story. Those bright crimson orbs could scare anyone away if they were looked at wrong.
Haven stopped when he was next to the pup and smiled down at her before turning to the white femme and bowing slowly. She had the aire of being in control at the time being. He had a feeling that she wasn't the alphess, but close to it. Alphen blood had to have of ran threw her veins. "I'm so very sorry to interupt. I come from the Misuteriasu Mountains Pack. I have left my pack in search of someone... and some answers. My name is Haven, son of Lucid and Mira, and I wish for your help, Miss." Haven raised his head just high enough to look at the white femme. She looked familar... but he couldn't put his large paw on it.

Masina watched Celestia for a moment longer, waiting for her response. That was when she caught the scent of a brute and shortly found one landing a little distance behind Celestia. Masina's body tensed slightly as she protectively stepped a little closer to the pup. She wasn't sure what else Celestia was capable of, but she wasn't going to test that. Masina did this only out of instinct at the approach of another wolf. Since Celestia couldn't walk on her own, she warranted a little more protection, and Masina was going to take this upon herself to make it so.
The brute approached. His size was easily bigger than Masina, though he didn't seem intimidating at all. Something about him made her uneasy however and it wasn't until he spoke that she found out why. She had seen crimson eyes before... Lucid's eyes would often change crimson when he was angry. Masina tensed more. He was showing respect toward her, so her body tensed less.
"Hello, Haven." [/b] She didn't dare repeat the second part after his name. She knew that her voice would falter. She shifted her weight slightly, sitting next to Celestia in a protective manner. "What can I help you with?"[/b] She looked at him with questioning, her sapphire blue eyes full of questioning. Why would a son of Lucid be coming to her? Perhaps Lucid did know of her existence and this brute was here to spy for him. This made her uneasy, though she tried to hide it. She waited for him to speak and hoped Celestia would be okay and would let her handle this, though she almost didn't want that to happen as well. Masinas mind always raced with unsurity when Lucid came into the picture.[/blockquote]

Celestia's eyes widened as she gazed up at the brute towering over both her and Masina. A slight inkling in the back of her mind signaled her that she was in the presence of a darker power, even though it seemed quite distant. Celestial also realized that this inkling seemed very familiar---as if it were deja vu. Deeply she gazed at Haven's eyes, something in them seemed oddly and vaguely reminiscent.
Masina...who is this wolf? And why do I sense a darker power?[/b] Celestia kept her attention focused on Haven, carefully making sure he did not make any ominous moves toward her or her new found friend. Or...old found friend judging by Celestia's memory.
Part of the celestial wolf could not figure out what her purpose was amidst these lands. Faintly, the young pup twitched her wings and realized that she had strength in them. Perhaps that was an inkling of her first step onto the path of understanding her purpose.
