((Nynx, I don't have much to say, so just skip me... Lucid would say something like "Just let him go." and decide to move on with the happenings around them.))

Mira watched everyone intently. Wolf after wolf were passing through their lands like crazy. What was the purpose? And why did all of them seem to be odd in her mind? With a slight irritation in her mind, her tail turned a light blue as though ready to ignite. She knew how to easily stop it from igniting completely now. Her light blue tail swayed dangerously behind her. Alright, so maybe Lucid's attitude was wearing off on her.
Being the rather blunt wolf that she is, she spoke in a harsh irritated manner, "Hold up! I would like a bit of an explanation. What is going on? And are these new wolves planning on joining the pack?"
[/b] She licked her maw before continuing to speak her mind. "You,"[/b] she turned to the black fae, "I have a bad feeling about, and I don't want you near my pups. And you,"[/b] she turned to the male next to Nynx. "You smell of fresh blood, why is that?"[/b] Her dark eyes seemed peircing as she looked the two wolves she had called out. Alright, so irritation was an understatement now. Her ears twitched in anticipation of their replies. She looked up at Lucid with obvious anger building in her eyes. She knew he was angry as well. There was so much going on at once and no answers being spoken in the process. With an angry alphen pair... things could get ugly. Mira was tiny compared to Lucid, but she could bite just as hard as he could.[/blockquote][/blockquote]

The black fur on Harlequins back stood on end, her head turning as she looked at the small wolf. "The monster mates its master," She whispered, giggling to herself. Her ear twitched as she looked from wolf to wolf, seeming to try and find meaning in the realities of their existence. She knew she was in danger, just now she wasn't sure from who. The monsters mate, the master as she had come to label her, she would kill Harlequin without a second glance, and the monster... well he seemed close to killing everyone. The brute, he was a murderer. Too much killing, too much killing, too much killing! She shook her head.
"Things are falling out," She whimpered. "Thwap thwap goes his head on the rock thwap thwap," She laughed, her face twisting. She stopped, looking down at the ground for a moment, "The eyes," She whispered, then looked up. Something had changed about her, her gaze was aware, sharp and cunning. She was for a moment not mad, she was the wolf she never got the chance to become, a danger. "You have no reason to trust me.," She whispered, "I am followed by monsters. Yet you have less reason to trust this one." Her eyes fell on the brute, the murderer, "Think about the blood you smell master, look into his eyes and see the guilt." She laughed, giggling like a child. "It smells like a puppy. Tell me murderer, do you like children?"
Harlequin shook, her whole body convulsing and shaking, "The moon is growing heavy with the sins of you three. It grows heavy, and it wants to rest," Things were slipping again, the shadows growing, from everywhere they rushed, enveloping Harlequin, turning her into a black pulsating mass. The Shadows took flight, scattering to the winds. When they were gone, Harlequin was nowhere in sight.

Wynter's black ears twitched softly, his fur brushed by the fingers of the wind, he would have stiffened, if he hadn't been so pressed down by confusion and so numb. There was Mira- a wolf he had yet to know of as his Alphess, she spoke to him- so questioning... so demanding. He had not an answer to give her, and only stared at her with blank, navy blue eyes. Void of any emotion, so long as he tried to keep his secrets from them. They couldn't understand... they wouldn't want to. He would have whimpered, if he had any of a voice at all.
Then the black wolf. Who knew so much- like she was his shadow who had lived with him for so long. He felt like he couldn't breath now- as she spoke, giddy and playful. Crazy, probably. He had no idea how to react to someone who knew him so well. She spoke of his murders, and his paws twisted against the ground, his pelt staying close to Nynx, so he wouldn't loose her and his sanity.
A few choice words hit him hard to home.Tell me murderer, do you like children? He had a voice again- and it only worked in a whimper- he breathed out the soft, panicked note, closing his eyes. Not a pup! The wolf was just grown up- not a pup. I... I don't like... I wouldn't hurt... What could he say? How could he answer? What could any wolf say? He was merely a cannibal. It was his life- he wasn't dangerous! Not to the pups... It clicked in his head now who the bossy female wolf was... Her pups. She was Lucid's mate. His fur prickled, and his head dipped lower, his eyes opening and gazing at her.
She was a creamy white, with dark eyes and no wings, quite like Nynx in that way of looking at it. All though, she was nothing compared to her at the same time. His love was so much more, so more brilliant. She was small, but her frame held strength to it, something that made him even more nervous, though he tried his best not to show it. She was a mom- and from what he knew... Mothers could be the most dangerous of anything. The shadow-wolf had left by now, and he had given her no answer. He blinked once, stretching out his wings and retucking them, and he moved his midnight blue eyes to stare at Nynx. She wouldn't abandon him, would she?
He looked back to the Alphess, gathering his strength. He raised his head only slightly, trying to seem proud, but kept it low- he was still an omega to this pack. "I smell of blood, because I hunted before I came here, so I would not hunt upon these lands." That was truthful- he wouldn't lie to them. But... How could he tell them? Surely if they knew, they would make him leave. And he didn't want to leave, he didn't want to do anything to separate himself from Nynx.

((Continued from Your Poison...)) She panted a little, tiny white tongue lolling out in slight exhasperation. Running made her feel a little better, and that drink she'd had really inspired her to run. She still trod warily though. She knew this was someone's territory, but whom...she had yet to find out. Elva's soft padded paws made a muffled sound upon the grass as she slowed to a walk, her eyes watching around her. She could smell others, and hear voices, not too far off. Crouching down low, her tail flicked in the air slightly of anticipation. She'd rather not be seen yet. Not if she could help it. She winced, as she felt a protective stab of emotion jolt out from one, a mother most likely. She'd only felt that from mothers, that emotion. She shook their pain off; although one of the unseen group had something...odd about them, she couldn't quite place it. It was hard to know, not seeing them. But it was...something unfamiliar. Something wrong. She shuddered, pressing onwards. Something a little sparkly caught her eye and she looked up. There, hidden past the leaves of the trees and far in the distance, a cave, high up in the mountains. Shelter and solitary peace. She sighed, and a smile split her features, making her skip forward a few steps. She would head towards the unknown hidden cave, and stay there. Nobody would find her, and she could ignore these crying voices that pleaded to help her. so many voices...so much suffering. Bounding forward, her gaze never left the secret cave, but her front paw caught a high lying root twisted above the ground, and she tripped up, quietly, but quite painfully. She cried out, a sharp yelp and a glance at her paw, which seemed a little hurt. Maybe she'd twisted it. She tried putting weight on it. A sharp, stabbing pain ricocheted up into her shoulder, causing her to yelp again. No. It wasn't alright. Whimpering quietly, she looked around quickly to see if there was anything she could use to aid the pain. Nothing. There was nothing here. Elva gritted her teeth, holding back another whimper. There was one thing she could do. She could ask the unseen wolves for help. It was a risk she was willing to take at the moment. Her secret cave in the mountains could wait. Right now, she needed some help. Limping out behind a clump of bushes, she whimpered a little, crouching in on herself to appear smaller and more harmless, her paw sticking out in front of her at an odd angle. They would see that she was merely a pup but still. She didn't know these wolves. And one of them smelt of blood. "Anyone?" Her tone was low, and full of despair, but weaker than normal. She forced herself to speak louder. "Can anyone...help me?"

Lucid knew there was another wolf on his lands.. how many was that now? He grew angrier by the moment and growled audibly.
"NYNX. Go see who that is that just called out." [/b] He growled again and turned his fiery eyes toward the other wolves around him. Too much was going on and he needed order. "Okay, are any of you here to actually do something with my time other than waste it or are you just here to waste my time. If the latter is the case, then I suggest you get out of my packlands before I rip your throats out... if you're interested in joining my pack, then speak now and tell me so... if you have other reasons you are here, speak up. I'm getting tired of this disorder and chaos!"[/b] His fur bristled and feathers fluffed, making his appearance even larger than his already large size. He looked at each individual around him and waited for them to speak. His patience was running out.[/blockquote]

Wynter's pelt prickled at the sound of the wolf's cry loud throughout the lands. He would have flinched visibly, hearing it so painstackingly horrible. He shuttered, and his large midnight blue eyes stared wildly at Lucid as he snapped loudly at everyone in the clearing. His ebony black wings uncurled and flung up as he shoved his belly to the floor, letting his jaw slam against the soft earth- as submissive as he could possibly be without rolling onto his back.
Not that he wasn't about to, he was half a breath away from exposing his bare throat to the alpha- who would kill him if he knew that he ate other wolves. He tried not to think about. "You know my standings, Lucidity." He spoke loud and clear but it was to be counted as more of a whimper. He knew his standings in this pack, and he wasn't ready to get torn hair from feather.
No, he couldn't allow himself to leave Nynx. Looking over at her, his heart fluttered to his throat, where he would have choked on it if he tried to breath, but he was much to afraid to do much of anything now. It wasn't that he wasn't a strong or brave wolf, merely that Lucid was dangerous, and also very agitated. And a father... and his alpha.

Lucid's angry tone and fierce growl sent shivers through Elva's tiny body. She crouched low to the ground, he ears lying flat against her head and whimpered quietly. Perhaps calling for help was not such a good idea after all. Drawing her injured paw closer to her body, she curled in on herself, tail wrapping itself around her body, perhaps to hide herself from view. But she needed help, however much she hated getting help from those she felt inclined to help so much.
She winced as she felt the jaws of another wolf by her clink together against the hard earth. He smelt of fear, but she felt it so strongly within her won person that she was not sure whether his fear was mingling with hers. This wolf had a fear of rejection, for a love he felt he was not worthy to have yet, and clearly he did not want to get on the wrong side of the large wolf.
From here she could see the dark flame patterns licking in legs of the shadowy wolf, almost four, maybe five times her own height. After all, she was barely 4 months old, though she felt much older. She felt the fear all around, the fear of this large, black wolf, and she felt it within her own heart also.
It was so hard remaining there, curled up rather than trying to drag herself in front of the other wolves, in the path of the giant wolf. Her body shook with the effort of remaining still, but she knew if the huge wolf intended to strike any of them, she would not be able to stop herself flinging her own body in front of the unfortunate wolf to protect them.
It was because of this that she whimpered. Not because of the fear that emanated so strongly from her, and from the other wolves. Because she could not stop herself from taking the blows. The power that binds me...a living shield. Perhaps she would think it a great honor, maybe to one day guard a very important wolf. Guard them from harm by sacrificing herself. But not now, she was too young, too small and fragile now.
Moving her paw sent a jarring pain to her brain, and she whimpered again, forcing herself to raise her voice once more in a desperate plea, through the fear through the pain and the urges.
"Please? Help!" She gasped through gritted teeth, it was probably only a pulled muscle, but it sure as hell hurt more.

Lucid growled at Nynx for not jumping right to his command. He turned his glowing pupiless eyes toward the brute who had made a reaction to his harsh tone... the only one to have spoken up.
"You, go fetch her and bring her to me." [/b] He glared toward the brute and waited with his tails lashing behind him. He held his head high and proud, easily towering over most everyone, if not everyone in his presence and waited to see if the brute would heed his request or if there were to be blood to be shed. Lucid was slowly picking up that this female might be merely a pup, which made his mind flicker for a brief moment to his own children. Perhaps he would be nice and grant this pup mercy... after all, young blood can be so easily manipulated. He knew she was hurt... maybe he would gain her trust and even reject his own children in an attempt to maybe figure out if she would be a good heir as well to his pack.. though that would take time... he didn't even know this female... what he did know, however, was that she was on his lands and injured and a pup... and he still needed to figure out which of the young brood would be the most successful heir to his throne.[/blockquote]

Nynx's powerful jaws snapped together. She wanted to chase Wynter and anyone else lurking about away. She lashed her green and black tail with anger. ""Why is gods name are all these wolves doing here? God Dammit!" Nynx swore. She was loosing it. She stalked over to the damned pup. "Get over here." Nynx felt her heart race with thoughts of chasing Wynter away. She took the pup by the neck and dropped her next to Lucid. 'Don't do anything stupid' Nynx thought darkly.

Her body shivering uncontrollably, Elva tried to remain as limp as possible as the larger green wolf strode over to her, hauling her up roughly by the scruff in her teeth. A cough escaped her throat as she had the air knocked out of her unexpectedly, and she winced as the wolf hustled her over to the other wolves, making her paw flop about uselessly, bringing little shots of pain up her leg with every movement.
Her eyes widened as she was dumped down in front of Lucid, the pain of the hard floor hitting her paw dulled by the sheer sight of him. He was bloody huge. She had to clamp her teeth shut to stop herself from whimpering now, and her eyes almost burst out of their sockets. Her neck craned upwards to glance at his burning yellow eyes, before she dropped her head, screwing her eyes tight shut and then staring at the ground at his feet.
Something was making a high-pitched whining sound, and she looked around quickly before realising it came from her. Shuddering, and curling her tail over her hurt paw, she made herself stop. She was terrified, but she could maybe show at leats a little backbone. She straightened herself up a bit, but she still racked with shivers.
Out of habit, the violet insignia of a star on her forhead- barely hidden by a tuft of fur hanging over her eyes- felt hot. It seemed to burn, and she held a paw, her good one, to her head to stop the burning. Her whole head felt hot, but she knew she could not stop it. It felt hot whenever she felt something of great pain...but it was happening far away, and she could do nothing about it yet. Somebody far away was very sad. Still, she could not help the wave of slight nausea that came with it.
She covered her forhead with her paw now, edgily looking up through the cracks in her digits, hoping it made her look afraid. She certainly felt afraid right now.

Lucid looked at the little pup before his eyes. He had a majority of his pack here and could show them how powerful he actually was... to create loyalty within his pack to him.. if he healed this pup. They would see he had the ability to heal the injured and surely they would want to stay because of that? Imagine, getting hurt, and being healed instantly! Oh what a pack he could create!
"Hold still." [/b] His voice was deep and almost gentle as he looked down at the pup. He raised his large paw and held it gently over her injured one. Keeping his concentration on the single paw, a faint red glow emitted from his paw. He slowly removed his paw and set it back down on the ground quietly. "Try putting pressure on it now. It's healed."[/b] He looked at the pup expectantly and then over to Harlequin. Turning his gaze back to the pup, he waited for her to heed his words and to stand and use her paw once again, as if nothing had ever happened.[/blockquote]

She remained as still as she could as he held a massive paw over her own. Elva gulped, she seemed so small in comparison. But his voice held no bitterness in it, no harsh edge to the words. It seemed, almost soft. She looked up at him with wide violet eyes, putting her other paw down from covering her insignia, wondering about him. Perhaps he just looked scary. He didn't seem so bad.
His eyes were intent on his work, and Elva even felt the pain in her paw recede until she no longer felt it. She felt the slight heat around the area, and didn't need to look down to notice the bright glow that emanated from his paw. But the sudden loss of her pain was a surprise. This wolf knew how to heal? Instantly it seemed. She looked down in surprise, her paw no longer seemed bent or twisted in any way.
Squinting her eyes in disbelief, Elva placed her paw tentatively on the floor of the forest, slowly applying more pressure. Nothing. It felt fine. She suppressed a short gasp, though only barely, and then stood up. Still nothing. It was as if the trip had never happened. Despite herself and her shivering, she gave Lucid a wavering smile, bowing her head and crouching down, before sitting up, curling her tail around her front paws.
"Thank you very much...sir" She added, after a moments pause. Truth be told, she didn't have a clue how to address the male, who clearly had authority within the pack. He was most likely Alpha, though she didn't want to ask for fear of getting the answer wrong. Her mind flipped momentarily to her cave waiting for her in the mountains. Peace and quiet, free from all prying eyes and painful minds...but he had saved her, healed her. Surely now...she was in his debt?
"I am at your service sir." She said, bowing her head deeply again, closing her eyes. "If there is anything you need, I will do my best to get it for you...as thanks" She hesitated with the last part, surely there was nothing he needed, and she was about as useless for helping him in any way, but she needed to repay her debt somehow.

Lucid looked at her and nodded in her response. He often got that reaction when he did things like that... he didn't heal others often, though no one else around here knew that... and he would rather keep it that way.
"I'm sure you'll think of something. Now, what's your name? And what is your purpose on my lands?" [/b] He didn't have a soft spot for her.. no, though it would come out that way with the way he was acting toward him. The facade would be him showing empathy or sympathy or whatever it was for a pup, probably because he was a new father... and that's what he projected... nothing less, nothing more, though he knew that his own intentions were for power and greed and a thirst to be supreme ruler of Aelyn.. they didn't know that though. He looked at her for a moment. The rest of the wolves around them had seemed to fall silent at the encounter. Maybe they were waiting for some sort of reaction much like he had earlier.. or maybe they were waiting for what was to happen next.. or maybe they were confused as all hell to his actions and sudden change in demeanor.. whatever it was, they could question... he was the alpha and they obeyed him... no one else. If it came to other terms, he would simply kill them. "I asked for those to tell me their business. Wynter has told me he wishes to join my ranks. What about the rest of you? Join my ranks or leave. That's your choices, so choose wisely."[/b] He looked around, addressing the rest of the wolves around him in order to break their silence and figure out where thing would go from here.[/blockquote]

Elva stared up at the wolf who had healed her injured paw so effortlessly. It certainly seemed effortless anyway, he hadn't taken her pain to himself, she simply felt it disappear off the face of the earth. An odd feeling, because now there was no feeling, in comparison to complete feeling, but she did not regret it, not one bit. As soon as another wolf started to hurt, she would no doubt feel that pain too...
Her tail flicked about absent-mindedly as he spoke in harsh, commanding tones. Definately the Alpha, and not taking any messing. She shivered a little at his immediate switch to authority. Also, the tone of his voice hung in the air, like an unspoken threat. She thought she wouldn't be able to simply walk through here and make an unknown home at the mountaintip now, especially not with his air of pride around him.
She pondered a little, chewing her lip, after all what was she to do? There was little chance of shelter anywhere else, and he had already shown her kindness by healing her paw. Yes, it was decided. She would stay. She had a debt to repay after all.
"I'm Elva" She mumbled quietly, almost inaudible, all of a sudden worried about talking after the large wolf, and also worried of interrupting anyone who might start to speak up before her. "And I...I would like to join your pack...please...sir" This part, she almost whispered. It was odd, requesting to join a pack. She had never been a part of a pack before, had never needed one. She wondered what sort of position this would put her in.

Lucid nodded to the pup and turned to Mira, assuming she was okay with this. Surely, since she was a new mother herself, she would be okay with taking another young pup in? Besides, this reminded Lucid he needed to choose a gamma to begin to take care of the pups with. But who to choose? Nynx, who would be his first choice, was currently his beta. Wynter? Lucid thought it would be an interesting test of this brute and grinned as he turned his gaze toward the brute.
"You, Wynter... You are Gamma of my lands. Your job is to help with the pups and aid in their upbringing. Consider this a test of loyalty." [/color] He chuckled to himself and turned his gaze back to the little wolf before him. "Welcome to the Misuteriasu Mountains then, Elva."[/b] He flicked his tails and shifted his large wings slightly as he waited for the others to reply to his previous statement of loyalties and packs.[/blockquote] ((Sorry for the short post.))
