Name Black Fever of the Silence.
Nickname Fever.
Desired Ranking Loner.
Age One Year.
Looks The female called Fever is, in fact, a rather petite maned wolf. This may be from being a female and having her small mother's genes, or perhaps from not having finished growing yet. She is, however, extremely proportionate, or as proportionate as a maned wolf ever gets, anyway. She is lean but has fabulously tough muscles for a young female. Fever's muzzle is slightly long, just like her father's, and her ears are slight large and pointed like her mother's.
Black Fever is fabulously feminine. Her narrow, pretty face, and her softly sloped brow that only slightly shadows her almond-shaped gold eyes are a beautiful example. Her paws are small and dainty, and her tail is rather long and bushily touchable. Her fur is thick and grows fast, like her father's. Her muzzle is slender and pointed, and her forehead is slightly small.
The yearling's coat is a bright golden orange that is even softer than her father's. Her coat is always carefully kept clean and lustrous, for she does not like being dirty or ugly. When in wind, it flows with the wind as if one of its people. The female has black up to her elbows, but only on her front paws. A muddled black stripe runs from her charcoal nose and ends just past her shoulders. Her ears are pure white. She has a white underbelly as well, and white on the underside of her tail. Around Fever's eyes are faint, scarcely noticable black markings very similar to her father's, in the shape of a raccoon‘s mask-like marking.
Element Fever possesses the power of shadows. Shadow is the ability to manipulate the darkness around one's self. This can cause illusions or new shadows to form at her will. The power of Shadow can only be used during the nighttime, and it drains Fever’s power quickly.
Personality Young Fever is a very calm, quiet female. She can easily contain herself, and if she chose to, hide her feelings. She can handle herself very well in most situations, and is probably the only wolf capable of calming her father. She is well organized and smart. Fever is also honest, like her daddy. She is a daddy's girl, most definitely. However, in the light of recent events, she and her father have been separated. She longs to find him again, but who knows how such a thing will go. She is less upbeat nowadays, and slightly more serious than usually.
The young female wants to know more about love, but feels that it can wait until the right wolf. She is very kind to even those that she has just met, and always glad to make a new friend. Her nature makes others trust her easily, for despite her precious honesty, she holds secrets within very well. She holds her friends very close to her heart, as well, and hides nothing from them
Black Fever has a good sense of humor. It's not hard for her to make others laugh. She's also good at making jokes to cheer others, and even good at cheering others with her intelligent sensibility. She adores her parents and dead siblings greatly, especially her father, Heart. She wishes that she could love somebody the way her father loved her mother.
Eyes Almond-shaped and golden.
Wings None.
History A roiling storm pounded the sea violently. The waves crashed repeatedly over the rocky shoreline of Silence Cove. Drenched in rainwater, Stolen Heart of the Silence leapt into the den, shaking his coat wildly and splashing the spray across his mate, Tribute of the Incandescence. And that was when his gray eyes fell upon the three tiny pups curled into his golden mate's side. "Tribute! Are those the - " he began. "Of course, Heart. They arrived not so long ago," she said with her always sweet, throaty voice. He moved closer, stunned that he had missed the birthing of his children on his disasterous hunt. The maned wolf fell beside them, gazing at them in amazement. "They're beautiful, Tribute. Perfect," he sighed. And together, the parents began to think of names. Bliss was one that Tribute had always liked, and Black Fever was the name of her long-dead sister. The two females became named thus, leaving Heart to name the little male. He had almost been called Fallen Sky, so he told this to Tribute, and their three pups were thus named.
Within Fever's first month of life, she learned - and fast - how to talk. She was a talkative pup, always, until around six months of age. Bliss wandered out into the frosty January - for the pups had unfortunately been born midwinter - and caught frostbite. It killed the little girl, and the pups of Tribute and Heart became two. Fever didn't understand what had befallen her sister. She came to her father, golden eyes wide. "Daddy?" she prompted. He turned, opening his eyes blearily. He'd been napping. "Daddy, what happened to Bliss?"Heart had turned towards her with a sigh. "Sweetheart, she - she died.." "I know that, silly!" smiled the pup. "I mean.. though.. what's dying? What happens, when you die?"Heart observed his daughter, his favorite pup, with careful eyes. "Well.. well, dying is passing from life from getting sick, or being injured. Nobody really knows what happens after your heart and stuff stops working, because everyone who could tell us is already gone to wherever they go." "But.. does it hurt? Death?" Heart stared at his daughter. He had always known how alike they were, but.. that was the same question - the exact same question - that he had asked his mother whenever his father died. He recalled her answer within his mind; he repeated it to his favorite child. "It won't hurt, Fever. I imagine.. I imagine that it's probably the best part of your life, besides falling in love for the first time. It must be relaxing," he sighed. "To know that you won't have to worry any more, to know that you can finally have real peace." The conversation had closed there. Fever and her brother had wandered out of the den, playing, but Fever was not exactly into their games of tag and chase that Heart soon joined them in with his pup-like nature. Her mind was filled with visions of death and quiet calm.
That same day - it would be a monumental day, a day that stood out permanently in the young mind of Black Fever - she and her father curled up outside the den, stretched out upon a flat gray rock while her mother hunted. To give Heart a break, for a change. Fever and Heart fell asleep, for the aftermath of Bliss's death had caused chaotic emotions in the small clan. As the two peacefully slept, young Sky frolicked alone in the water. A soaring hawk caught his eye, flying out to sea. Probably to catch some fish. With a giggle, the pup bounded through the waters after it, sea spray flying around him. His teal eyes widened in horror as his paws lost purchase on the sandy bottom, as a current pulled him out. He flailed helplessly, screaming for his father, or even for the sensible Fever. A riptide caught the small wolf just as Heart awakened to his screams. The large male raced out into the sea, Fever crying in fear for her brother behind him as he plunged into the ocean. But Sky was far lost. Heart had no chance of rescuing him, and returned with a set face and tears mixed with saltwater running over his face.
When Tribute returned, she was horrified and furious. She snarled at her mate, even at her daughter, as they approached to comfort her. That night, she left without any warnings. They never saw her again. The land of the Silence Clan held too many awful memories now. Together, Fever and Heart deserted their lands and wandered away, father and daughter, best friends. They came to a new land, a land of desert, mountain, forest and sea, all together within days walks. A place where, in the relatives' eyes, they could start over.
The father and daughter lived in these new lands for a few months. They were known as the lands of Tizporrah, and seemed to be abandoned by all but deer and rabbits. Fever's bright humor began to return, as well as Heart's goofy, happy-go-lucky attitude.
Then, as unpredictable as lightning, a great, monstrous wolf struck the two. They barely escaped, both running in opposite directions. Fever raced far from the scene, frightened by the sudden appearance of the brutish thing that had attacked her and her father, and forgot to look back for her only companion and relative. Likewise, Heart forgot to look back as well. The two ran far, far from the plains of Tizporrah. When finally they both were sure that the monster no longer hunted them, they stopped, turning to find with heavy hearts that their last love was nowhere in sight. With dark sighs, the two turned and continued about their way, in opposite directions. They both assumed that the other had been captured and killed by the monster.
Fever moved on, her heart aching from the loss of her father. Without the knowledge of what to do, the yearling female wandered on.
Other Information Stolen Heart of the Silence is her father. I suggest that if you want to roleplay Fever, you read his profile.

Regulations To adopt Fever, the following rules are neccesary.
· There must be at least one post with her per week unless there is an excused absence.
· The roleplayer needs to play her by her personality as written. I wrote this character myself and I will not appreciate it if her personality, appearance, and especially her past is altered.
Um. I think that's all that's really neccesary.
Also: To roleplay Fever, I would like to see a roleplay sample involving her and one other wolf. The personality of the other wolf and the setting don't matter, it's just to see if you understand the way in which she would react to things. Please make all roleplay samples at least 200 words, which really isn't that much when you think about it.
The roleplayer who gets Fever may have the above picture and any other images I may have of her laying around, just please give me some credit for it.
Thanks much!
