Name:
Arascain {Air-es-cane}
Nicknames:
Aras or Cain
Age:
2 and a half years old
Gender:
Female
Desired Pack:
{Going to be in a mafia/auditions}
Rank:
Assassin/fighter
Looks:
Arascain was born with a multicolored fur coat, though shabby since weather has worn it down, but it is still thick. The length of her fur is short, but the hair on her tail is long enough to touch the ground, almost seeming like that is her actual tail. Her hair also spikes from her ears, and on the back of her neck, as well as behind her paws. Her fur grows in small patches, each a different color, or making larger patches of color. The majority of her forearms are a blood red, as well as her back legs. The fur on her neck is a mixture of a ruddy brown, branching up into a navy color, but then on her neck, the fur becomes red again. The feathers on her wings are that way as well, making rows of red, brown, and navy as well. Her tail has similar colors, identical to her body fur, except for the tip of her tail, which is orange.
Her shoulders, legs, and back are muscular, her paws are large, making traveling in all weather easier, especially during winter. Her muscular frame makes labor easy for her, so she can provide more for her colleagues. Her body is perfect for killing, her claws are long and lethal in form, coal black and thick, but pointed sharply. Her ears are very pointed, erect and large, so her hearing capabilities grow as well. She has bangs that go in between her eyes, to protect them from debris or other particles that could come in contact with them. Her wings have sharp talons on them, which she will also use when hunting or in protection. Her body is also very lithe, although muscular, making her soundless as she hunts in the forest, and her dark colors make her invisible.
Power:
Arrowism
Arascain has the ability to materialize arrows and object them from her body, able to aim the projectiles in whatever direction she is able with her mind. She can only move the arrows in a one mile radius, and after that, the arrows drop to the ground, losing their power of levitation and movement. Arascain uses her mind to great lengths, so her power can be very tiring, if she hasn't prepared to use it lately. She can project arrows from her mouth, and the talons on her wings. Her arrowheads also are covered in a liquid poison, and when lodged into an object or living creature, it releases another, much stronger poison to slow the death, and to make it very painful.
Unfortunately, her power could become suddenly fatal if she uses her powers incorrectly. For example, if her mind wanders, so will her arrows, which could harm or kill her pack mates, or anyone close to her. Anything else can go wrong, like the arrows entering back into her body, which makes her very weak, or the arrows puncturing herself. She only uses her powers for special "jobs" which usually obtain killing, which it is meant to do.
Her power will sometimes make her momentarily blind, confused, delusional, weak, or demented if she has not prepared. She uses her power well, and it helps her when she most needs it. Luckily, her body is prone to the poison, so if she accidentally attacks herself, she won't die from the attack. Her saliva is filled with antibodies that when comes in contact with the wound, will kill the poison in the blood, and numbs the pain away.
Eyes:
Her eyes are like an inferno. The iris is a fiery orange, with a red tint on the edges. Her pupil is white instead of black like a usual wolf's pupil, emphasizing the orange, but there is a ring of black around the white.
Wings:
Arascain's wings are large, about 5 feet in diameter, and about 3 feet in width. She has talons on the joint, usually used for defense. Her wings are abnormally strong, so she is capable to carry a full-grown wolf if she had to. The feathers are also very waterproof, so swimming is easy for her as well.
Personality:
Arascain is like a cookie. She appears hard on the outside, but once you bite in, you reach a soft, gooey inside. Her appearance is harsh, but once she learns to trust someone, she opens up to them easily. She grew up in a hardy landscape, so she is hard, almost emotionless around others, and when in pain. She never shows that she is in pain, and her red fur hides wounds from others. No one needs to worry about her, is what she usually thinks during a battle, so the red masks gashes from others. She is very intelligent as well, and her battle strategies are flawless {usually.} She takes pride in herself at times, ashamed at others because of her devilish mind, and of her actions, but she always gets the job no matter what the circumstances are.
Arascain never holds a grudge, and is actually very forgiving after a few weeks. She isn't forgetful, but she doesn't like remembering certain things in her life, because a lot of it is painful for her to remember. She didn't exactly get love from anyone as a pup, so she doesn't treat very many wolves with care, or compassion. Wolves are meant to kill and be victorious, so she sticks with what she has learned, and does not try to steer to purity. She has already gotten too deep onto her soul, with all of the killing that she has done, she feels no pain when she kills, and she feels no regret. She doesn't linger in the past, so it makes moving on a lot easier for her than for most wolves. Some think that she is demonic, but she really isn't. She also has a hidden sense of humor that most don't see, and she can actually be very charming and liked by wolves that she... likes...
History:
Arascain grew up in a brutal training camp. When she was born, her parents were taken and killed, just like the rest of the parents that had newborn pups. Pups were outlawed, and most wolves ignored the law, so the assassins decided to train the born pups when they were just 6 months, using harsh tactics and scares to make the small wolves do their bidding. Aras did the best out of her group, the most lethal. The assassins would take her on their "trips" and use her power in their work, and also favored her. She was never scarred.
When she became 9 months old, they put her through the initiation into an assassin, and she worked beside the grown killers, learning their secrets. They were all winged, and she learned how to fly during this time as well. Soon she became hard, and her hobby was to kill mercilessly. Her poison daggers made her prey suffer, and she would chuckle as they died. A death was a humorous thing during this time, but as she got older, she learned to appreciate life more, making each kill more painful to her heart. She saw innocent mothers and fathers die, and she learned that her parents were killed as well. She learned their tactics on the kill, and trained the pups herself, but when she turned 1, she had had enough of their hateful training sessions.
She stopped the killing of the parents by her raw force, because most of the assassins were afraid of her poison arrows. The pups were not trained any more as killers, and the alpha came back to rule his lands. Of course, all murderers were killed. They came after her, lightning lighting up her silhouette as she ran through the prairie, rain beating down on her as a light thrumming, pounding in her ears at the rhythm of her heart. They were going to kill her by any circumstance, even though she had stopped murder and made it peaceful. She had committed treason, and now she had to pay the price. She felt broken inside, knowing that she did them a favor. Why didn't they listen to her pleads for forgiveness? Didn't they believe her?
Without thought, she turns to them, her fiery eyes glinting as the thunder rolled behind her in a dramatic scene. She could feel her mouth opening as a ray of arrows project toward the innocent wolves, hitting them with sheer will and determination. She could hear moans and cries of pain as she turns and leaves her battlefield, a smirk on her maw from her victory. They brought their death upon themselves, so it was their loss, not hers. She chuckles, her body moving through the lightning and thunder, her wings up-brought as a shadow that traced herself into the sky.
Other:
Arascain is the most silent wolf you will ever meet. She is literally soundless when she moves, and her motions are graceful, usually.
Theme song:
"This is how a heart breaks" by Rob Thomas
{Look it up! ^^}
"Life is like a mean machine, it made a mess out of me, it made me caught between, like an angry dream. I was stranded."
Parent Description:
Although Arascain never knew her parents, there descriptions below. Arascain doesn't resemble her parents at all, if you do realize that. ^^
Emeryl {mother} - Her fur was a soft hint of lavender, always smelling of mint. She loved her daughter ferociously, and the last thing she wanted was for her daughter to become an assassin. She was always kind, always elusive, and always protecting her loved-ones from the "murderers". She was always caring, but strong and stubborn, and lead the pack at times of trouble. She WAS the betess after all. {Aras does not know at all.}
Chime {father} - His fur was forest green, making him invisible when he went hunting. He, as well as Emeryl, had wings. His wings were ice blue, as blue as the summer sky. He was a strong brute, very muscular and form-fitted. He protected his family well, and he was known for his bravery and honesty throughout the pack. He cared about his daughter so strongly, he begged the lead assassin to keep her alive, and not to harm her, and the assassin kept his promise.
