Name:Runa
Nicknames:none
Age: 3 years
Gender: Female
Desired Pack: Toko Forest
Rank: subordinate
Looks: Runa is average height. She has short, silvery fur with some black and cream flecks. She has a brown diamond on her forehead with lines extending from the corners. Two of the lines cross over her eyes then meet on her muzzle just before her nose. She has a black tail tip, and snow white underbelly. Her front paws are a tan color, and her hind legs have socks of the same color. She has dark gray tiger stripes extending up her sides from her underbelly, and across her front legs.
Runa has a scar over her left eye, that goes all the way down her face, the result of her father blaming her for her mother's sudden death. Her father caused not only a physical scar, but also an emotional scar for her. The attack not only scarred her eye, but she can no longer see out of her left eye. It is clouded over and dark gray. Her left eye, which she can see out of perfectly, is gold in color. It doesn't have a sparkle in it, like other wolf's eyes do.
Runa's right ear is torn, also a result of her father's attack on her. Because of her blind left eye and torn ear, she always has her head lowered, trying to make her self seem smaller than she really is. Unfortunately, Runa is slowly losing vision in her right eye. because of this, she doesn't always see something and will walk right into it.
Power: none
Eyes: Runa's right eye is golden with almost no sparkle of life in it. It it cold and uncaring, often causing others to think she is unfriendly and shouldn't be trusted, misleading many wolves. Her left eye is Dark gray and clouded. She is blind in this eye, and if one sees this eye alone, they can be a little freaked. When a wolf sees both eyes at the same time, they often feel threatened by her gaze, even if Runa is not trying to be intimidating.
Wings:none
Personality: Runa is a caring wolf, although one might not assume that until they get to know her. She likes being alone, but this always ends in disaster, since she can barely see. She always asks a wolf she knows she can trust to go with her when she goes somewhere, so she doesn't walk into anything she can't see. It is always obvious when she has had a painful trip of walking into things, as she will seem a little depressed for a while.
Even though it is harder for her to see when it is dark, Runa loves the night and being in woods. This sometimes helps her feel better about her self. There is nothing for her to see with her blind eye or her good eye, and no one can see her. Whenever she gets the chance, she will sneak away from others at night to be alone.
Runa is generally a playful wolf, but there are some days when she just wants to be left alone. On these occasional days, she will snap if one gets too close to her, no matter who it is. It is best to let her be at those times. There are also times when one can't be sure what mood she is in, too, so when you are unsure you shouldn't get too close to her.
History: Runa's parents were both wolves that hadn't been from Aelyn. They had managed to mate without being in a pack. They had three pups, however Runa was the only pup born alive, as they had been born at a bad time of the year. Runa's mother was devastated by this, and often took poor care of herself. When Runa was almost old enough to leave her parents if she wanted to, her mother died of an unknown illness.
Runa's father blamed her for the death of his mate and brutally attacked her. Runa managed to escape, her ear torn and her left eye bleeding. She stammered through the forest as the wounds healed and scarred. She lost her vision in her left eye, as he fathers claws had done too much damage to it. She learned to hunt with only one eye, and eventually became strong enough for the revenge she had wanted. She sought out her father, and waited until he went out hunting. She snuck ahead of him and placed the juice of a poisonous berry into a puddle that she knew her father would drink from.
She had waited a while, but her father finally drank from it. When he was weakened by the berry juice, Runa attacked him. She clawed his belly and throat until he bled to death. After her father died, Runa berried his body. She set out to get even stronger and improve her hunting and fighting skills much more. After another year past, Runa returned to where she killed her father. She stayed there for awhile, well, awhile being an hour. During that time, she stared up at the small portion of the sky she could see, thinking about her puphood.
Her mother had always been depressed, but only showed it when she thought she was alone. She knew Runa looked different than other wolves, and that she would have difficulty in the future. Runa would hide in the thicker bushes and listen to her parents talk about her whenever she had the chance.
"She won't live long after she leaves us. It will be almost impossible." Runa's mother always said this. She doubted the natural ability for a young wolf to survive against the odds.
"Runa is a strong wolf, and she has youth on her side. She will be able to hide easier in small places and get away from threats faster." Dad... always standing up for his daughter. Too bad that would change. Her memory jumped to the night her mother died. Wincing from the painful memory, Runa skipped over it to the day her father attacked her just a few weeks later. Runa was almost a year old by then.
"You.... you killed her Runa. How could you kill my dearest mate, your own mother?! And your siblings. You murdered them before they even had a chance at life" Runa saw herself backing away from her father. He had gone mad, and was forcing her into a corner.
"Fa... I didn't kill them... I didn't! I can hardly kill a rabbit let alone another wolf!" She was frightened. Her father had suddenly gone from being supportive to aggressive toward the young Runa.
"YOU LYING LITTLE PUP! I KNOW YOU DID IT! YOU MURDERER!" Her father pounced, and half her vision became red. She watched the younger version of herself flee, and Runa's thoughts flashed back to the present.
She doesn't remember much after that. It had all been a blur. And she's glad.
Other: Her text color is brown to match the diamond on her forehead.
Parent Description: Runa's mother, Melody, was silvery with some tan flecks. She had brilliant sky blue eyes that sparkled even in the dimmest light. She was a little smaller than most wolves, but hardly. She had a few splotches of black on her sides that almost looked like music notes. Her paws were tipped with white as pure as freshly dropped snow. She had a pink diamond on her forehead, much like Runa's brown one.
Runa's father, Leon, had been tan with white and black flecks. He had a brown tail tip, and his front left leg had a brown sock on it. He had sharp, pale green eyes. In certain light, it looked like they were pure white with no coloration at all. He had a scar on his muzzle. Both his ears were torn from the same battle that had given him the scar on his muzzle.
