Celestia (Masina's welcome if she's got muse)
so what if you can see As if on cue, with the male’s thoughts, the creature leapt into the oblivion. He did not turn to watch it as it hurtled to its on its own accord. The white male only stared into the cold river as it too, leapt into the oblivion. How he too, yearned for the sweet release of death.[/ul][/blockquote] the dark inside of me

A sharp stab of something unknown lanced into Celestia's heart as she glided above the lofty clouds, inadvertently casting her through the foggy altitudes and into the side of a rock face. The guardian's breath escaped her maw as she slid down and landed upon the back side of a large cliff. The edge was relatively narrow, and she could see the rest of the Fukai Waterfalls beyond the lingering mists in the valley. Despite the beautiful visage, Celestia reeled as the remaining tendrils of pain and agony dissipated from her innards. While she did not know what she experienced, she knew that it was foreign. Some sort of emotion from another being knocked her out of the sky---accompanied by the sudden sense of finality... the cease of existence. The moth-winged fae could still taste the yearning for death on her pallet.
Over the past few months since her arrival back in Aelyn, Celestia knew that her powers would steadily grow; and this no doubt was a taste of some sort of empathic ability. Oh how she remembered empathy...feeling the emotions and intents of everyone around her. It was probably the most irritating ability to ever possess. While it was a beautiful gift, Celestia knew that such a power untamed could destroy her mind.
Calm and collectively, Celestia raised herself from the sandy surface and shook her pelt from head to tail, releasing a large cloud of dust that floated away on the western wind like smoke. Regardless how much pain she felt, she knew that investigating the cause of such a potent emotion was her top priority.
Carefully maintaining her balance, Celestia circled around to the other side of the cliff where she could see a the silhouette of a ragged white-maned wolf standing at the edge. She could feel moisture beneath her claws while slowly pacing away from the narrow precipice. Blood stained the pure pink digits of her toes, informing her that some sort of battle or kill had taken place.
The guardian carefully eyed this peculiar wolf, and sensed some sort of familiarity in his presence, yet she couldn't exactly identify him. He was no doubt the cause of the turbulent emotions strong enough to knock her from the clouds. The desire for death still remained fresh in her mind, but she could not linger on that emotion or else it would cause more pain.
"Why do you desire death so passionately?" Celestia's voice echoed from the rock face loud enough to be caught by the audits of the troubled brute.

somebody get me through this nightmare The echo of her voice came as no surprise. His damned heart had told him of her presence long before she even knew of the pain he retched upon this world. His eyes didn’t follow her as she approached behind him, though his mind grew more acute to her actions as he felt the blood of his kill stain her paws. She was foolish and naïve, they all were. None were forced to exist in nothingness as he was. They all knew love, passion, and fear, while he held nothing within his heart. No one knew the utter hell of living with nothing, not even loneliness, not even hate. And no one knew the crippling pain of the memories that he did… His mind was a nightmare, his heart of darkness, his soul nothing…and life meaningless. His body had been thrown into a sick and twisted battle of puppet versus master for the remainder of eternity…and it had been his personal preference.
His ears folded back with her presence, visibly letting her know that she was not wanted nor welcome with him. No one was. A knot formed within his chest as pain shot upwards through his throat, forcing him to speak: ”Because I am already dead.” To prove his statement, his neck turned to face her, revealing the nothingness in his eyes. Amber without light, amber without life. Windows to the soul, windows that shown a small glimpse of the void which all were doomed to in the end. I can’t control myself

His eyes gave her the distinct feeling of being lost. Behind all the pain she originally felt she began to understand another emotion that the fae did not realize before. Despite the differences between the two wolves, Celestia felt familiar with the sense of nothingness. After the numerous deaths and rebirths, any sort of reality seemed confusing.
Confusion plagued Celestia's mind as she tried to wrap herself around the idea that this was was clearly alive...yet he claimed to be dead at the same time. The void within him sent shivers up her spine, but Celestia did not falter with her determination to understand the wolf. It was in her nature. There was something about the brute that seemed so different from other wolves. He lacked a certain fiery essence that most wolves possessed. Even though Celestia hadn't fully developed her abilities, she could identify the souls of other wolves through her empathic power. This wolf didn't seem to have that trait for some peculiar reason.
Celestia's gossamer wings rippled like two multi-colored quilts as she rested her wings against her back much like those of an actual moth. The two white antennae on her forehead between her ears jostled and her sapphire eyes remained glued to their target.
"You're soulless aren't you? That would explain the pain I experienced...not to mention the inability to sense anything beyond that pain. Tell me...what is your name? I am Celestia, one of two guardians sent from the Spirit Realm." Celestia did not know whether or not he was aware of her identity, but she attempted to be as polite as possible.

your bottle’s almost empty She could not fathom how many empty years he had been forced to walk through this dead existence. Against every law of life and death he was here, plaguing every mind and soul with his corrupted heart. The curse that he was had become nothing more than scar blemishing all that everyone called the Ancestors’ grace. Where were those who guided and protected the realm when he was around? Why would they allow such an abomination of nature prowl freely to threaten and endanger the lives and minds of all their true creations? She could not fathom how many empty years he had been forced to walk through this dead life. She could not fathom the vast amount of comprehension and understanding he held for the otherworld and beyond.
He turned his dead stare away from her. She would not understand why her words were meaningless. Within him was nothing but a heart forced to beat. Words, touches, gestures, feelings…empty details associated with the distant world around him. He did not speak to her because he hadn’t cared that she had spoken to him. There were no words conceivable to describe the vast void within him, the void that had consumed all manners of “mortal” understanding. His interactions with the living world around him were always limited because he was no longer a part of it; soul long sold in the name of blood.
A gust raked through his thick mane, casting ripples through his ragged fur. The male had returned his empty stare into the oblivion. The darkness within him whispered sweetly, having sensed the ”guardian’s” confusion and fear. The only reason she had not fled the moment her instincts commanded her to; was because of the nature of her personality: curiosity, a need for understanding. Didn’t she know, didn’t she understand? None of that mattered. Who one was, why they did what they did, was nothing more than an unforeseeable side-effect of living. Ultimately death ruled in the end, it was the only constancy in existence. And it easily rendered all inconstancies void. She would not be able to understand why her words meant nothing to him. you know this can’t go on
Sorry for the wait over the weekend! I GOTTA NEW(iish) CAR!
