Fae+Kavu
Fae's delicate paws found it quite difficult to maneuver through the ice, she was small and quite fragile so with each step it was almost like a running leap. She wasn't to fussed though but rather continued onward with a slight skip. She was of to see Mr Lucid! She wasn't quite sure what to make of all the nonsense, evil, not evil. Why not just ask, he was a good alpha after all and she was certain he would be honest with her.
Kavu had told her lucid was a horrible wolf, not fit for life. Who was he to judge after the way he tormented the wolf who had tried to kill her? would it not have been enough just to... kick him off the cliff or something? Fae huffed and Kavu's stupid... Stupidid... Dumbness. She would suss this whole taking over aelyn thing once and for all and maybe lucid might let her have a look inside a dead wolf or something...
She skipped around a few boulders before calling out towards his usually sleeping place, she hoped he wasn't in his new pack at the moment... poking her nose slyly into the cave her little voice echoed as though she has some sort of mimic. "Oh Mr Lucid sir?" she chortled, her voice echoing among the ice. "You around here" she settled to a stop before lowering her rump onto the ice. "I have to ask you a question sir!" she looked about, her eyes bright with curiosity.
she wasn't quite sure how to word it and the last thing she wanted to do was come off offensive to the alpha. she sighed to herself before jumping with a start, a large paw firmly on her tail. "what on earth are you doing you fool" Kavu hissed before picking Fae up by the scruff of her neck. "Put me down" Fae snarled softly back, a scowl crossing her young features as kavu tagged a little to roughly at her newly cleaned fur, "Ah you imshame, your callim ushid" he mumbled through Fae's thick fur before turning to walk away.
"Mr Luuuucid!" Fae called out again loudly, if he was just sleeping in there she would wake him up! Kavu however had a different plan and upon realizing Fae was not going to give up without a struggle decided to cover her mouth with one of his large brown wings and by doing so earning himself a nice set of tooth marks and a patch of red fur. He grunted softly then wacked Fae on the nose with the same wing only adding to the minor pain. Of all times for her to be stubborn.
Kavu had heard many rumours of this brute and didn't like them to say the least. If that THING came anywhere near his darling may flower then it would be up to him to put him in his place. However he also heard that Lucid was the god of the underworld.... if that was true then the gods could deal with him! Kavu would find a nice rock to hide under!

{00c - if you want, I'll join you, let me know if you don't want to and I can remove it no prob. ^^}
An ear twitched deep down in the caverns, this led onto the other following suit. The chain reaction had begun and now the mind that was so readily on standby was turning on in a flash. Red light goes green… though to be fair the orbs this time were still red. They scanned the darkness as the brute, yes brute was already re-feeling his body wake up. Every single hair rose with him as slowly, ever so slowly he towed from his slumber. He had chosen a good cave for himself as it accommodated his size with ease, even if he had wings he felt there would be no difficulty of that. It also made the brute look all the more daunting as a gleaming white, long clawed paw stood out from the shadows that concealed everything else. To one from the outside it was only certain that something was emerging, it was awake, now they’d done it.
As the body of he who shared names with Egyptian Gods skulked from his own cosy den he felt his shoulders sway as he walked, his rump likewise as it displayed his only real mark. Running from pad to ear tip, snout to tail, he was massive. The low moon seemed to elongate his shadow giving that impression one of added fear and Je nais sais quoi. It was too late, this beast had seen them all to easily, heard them? It was without question, and as he stepped forth in his elegance and his quiet fury the air seemed to chill before rapidly heating up again and then going further until the air around what was now three became rather toasty.[/b]
“Good morning miss, sir. I am truly sorry to have to tell you dear lady but our Alpha Lucidity is away on business. My name is Anubis, I am a subordinate here, though I cannot say I’ve had the pleasure. Maybe I can be of some help to your fine selves?”
As soon as the brute spoke all the scaries and nasties had fled and the whole labyrinth was now aware of his warmth. Eyes might be looking from the darkness of the caves within while other sounds could be heard from the sleepers around them to the drip from the stalactite. But it wasn’t creepy, it made the harsh and hating Mountains seem like a beacon of warmth and love and hope, something Anubis had always felt in their presence but sometimes had to teach others to see.
There was still something weird about this male and it seemed to be just behind his right ear for it kept twitching, the only thing hat was spoilt about his perfect composure. However this part of him he would never show to these two, he would automatically like the pup, he adored them almost like a father and her own father was clearly an excellent wolf. Anubis had heard stories too and he wouldn’t want one his own going near the great Lucidity. He’d never met his Alpha himself, only the wonderful Crow and pretty Tola. Suffice it to say he would want to judge this wolf before fully trusting him himself.
He had eased onto his stomach now with his massive forepaws outstretched before him, his tail just in view was swishing idly and he smile done his most charming at the pair as he gave way and bowed his great head.[/b]

Kavu and Fae where mid argument when the brute stepped forth, his bright red eyes more than intimidating as Kavu glanced up into them through his tangled Mohawk. His body shivered and with a slight Hyeck sound he "spat" Fae from his mouth. Licking his lips and prying out loose fur that had stuck between his teeth it was Fae who spoke first.
"Hi Mr Ananubis sir!"
she giggled dumbly as she clumsily got to her feet before ambling right up to the brute. digging her front claws into his fur she pushed herself up between his shoulder blades. Kavu's eyes nearly fell from his head as she settled comfortable on his back and a sudden wave of jealousy overcame him. "Umm... Fae... that's awfully rude. You shouldn't do that without permission. Now get off him, he doesn't want dirty little pup paws all over his fur." he was stuttering slightly, obviously shocked at her behavior.
"He doesn't mind at all!" Fae huffed back before crawling onto Anubis's head and peering down over his brow. "How do you know that?" Kavu snapped back in reply but Fae simply ignored him before gasping. "Wow your eyes are cool. Cooler than Kavu's! You don't look like a girl either." she smiled widely. "So do you have a mate?" she beamed now, her green eyes burning with curiosity.
Kavu grumbled with pure embarrassment. Of all times for Fae to grow into her paws! She was too young to be wondering about that and he was far to old for her! "FAE" kavu huffed, much more calm than before as he now knew lucid was elsewhere. "I'm sorry Anubis, you know how pups are." He looked back into the brutes eyes apologetically. Although with his liquid white eyes it was hard to tell quite where he was looking.
"My name is Kavu, i don't believe we have met before. If so I'm sure we BOTH" he said this with a stern look towards the pup. "Would have remembered I'm sure." his lips curved into a slight frown at Fae's horrid behavior. Kavu flicked his wing as Fae's nice bite nipped in the cold mountain air.
He wasn't sure he trusted this brute yet. He seemed too... Nice... For this pack, not saying there where no nice wolves here. Just... Many sinister ones. Much like himself. Besides his ear... Why was it... Never mind... Kavu simply flicked his ears back and forth a few times to rid himself of the unusually vibe.
With a final sigh kavu glanced up at Fae again who was now batting at Anubis's non-twitchy ear. Looking down she let out an exaggerated grumble. "FINE" she huffed leaping from the brutes back and in one swift and elegant movement landed on her feet. Kavu smiled at this. When she was old she would make a true beauty.

Anubis was still and silent then as he watched the male beneath him seemingly hiccough and begin to spit out little bits of the pups fur. He looked ready to speak and so Anubis remained quiet so as to give him the chance but his little counterpart got there first. From the moment her words began Anubis turned his gaze to hers and lowered his head for her with a smile.
She was so lovely and he smiled all the more as she spoke. He wasn’t about to correct her but he would happily let her know she didn’t need to call him Sir. His maw parted but he found himself silenced with a smile as the little fae scampered to his side and in an instant he felt small pricks of sharpness in his forelimb. It didn’t hurt, though the skin underneath reddened and as blood rushed to the spot and with it caused the temperature of his limb to increase but that didn’t bother him in the slightest. Nor did he mind when the little one found her way onto his back and nestled down between his shoulder blades. It wasn’t uncomfortable and she would certainly be safe enough, he could catch her if she fell. Weirder still, from the moment she had done seating herself the nervous twitch was gone and with it was Anubis’ secret. Just his earring was there, hanging with its feather on the end and Anubis was just Anubis with no other personality that loved the dark. He was with a pup now and he wouldn’t hurt her, she was safe with him. His gaze drifted back from the fae to Kavu and he smiled politely at him with kindness, he could understand the concern, this pack wasn’t known for its friendly faces though Anubis’ smile was one of the best. He opened his maw once more to reassure the male before the pup had already decided to do so for him and she gave the male a good telling off. Kavu then spoke his reply but Anubis smiled to try and reassure him that all was fine and as he did he found his eyes looking directly into those of the little lady who was now staring back from on top of his head. He blinked and as he did so his smile broadened as she continued her words only to be argued at by the male once more. It was clear he cared as he wouldn’t be so concerned for the sharp tongue of the fae otherwise, but this didn’t bother Anubis he just loved her all the more for it. He loved them both, their devotion to one another was screaming even if they didn’t know it and he felt his heart race at their bond. Anubis was made for loving everything that could exist and though there was that part of him deep down that could equalise that in the worst capacity, he wouldn’t let it. He blinked again at the fae before his gaze broke form hers and turned to face Kavu once more.
“Don’t worry Mr. Kavu. I honestly do not mind her paws on my back, she’s not heavy and she hasn’t hurt me nor would I let her get hurt while in my presence, she’s much to wonderful, you’re a lucky male to have her company all the time.”
He could see the apology and he bowed his head, just a little to keep Fae safe but enough to show he was honestly not offended and that any form of apology was unnecessary. He kept his calm smile on the male for a short while before turning both gaze and grin back to the fae.[/color]
“Hehe well there’s nothing wrong with looking like a fae but thank-you all the same. No, dear lady I do not have a mate as of yet, do you pretty one?”
He spoke to make her smile and his voice was so kind but his smile turned back to the male to show that he really wasn’t meaning anything dangerous by his words and was just showing politeness to the fae. He knew she was too young for such things and he’d make sure the male knew this. He didn’t want to cause concern. He smiled as he spoke and his gaze fell momentarily onto the bitten wing as well as the frown on his maw but he knew not to ask, it was bad manners, besides he had a young lady entertaining herself with his earring. He held still but would twitch his ear at intervals to give the young one something fun to play with before finally chuckling as she was won over and forced to dismount the beastly great wolf she’d jumped upon and as she landed he silently grinned as he saw how proudly Kavu gazed upon his lady Fae.[/b]
