It was night and Solitude felt weary while leading the way to find her mother. She could only imagine how tired Nayeli was...after all...she was but a young pup. Part of Solitude was also worrying about whether or not her mother was okay. After past events with Harbinger, Solitude could only imagine what he would do to her...especially after all that he had done in the past---The threats...the violent acts...the killing. It all seemed like a dreadful nightmare to her. It pained Solitude that not many knew of her problematic past---on the outside she was just the quintessential femme.
"We're almost there, you doing okay back there Nayeli?" Solitude murmured as she reverted back into the recesses of her mind to contemplate her life. Despite her hate for her father, Solitude could not help but to wonder where he was. Last she heard he was making his way to the Fukai Waterfalls....Mayonaka only knew what the hell he was doing there. Solitude wanted nothing more than to stop her father's heartless killings, but her mother often urged her to let it go---it was the only way to protect her daughter. Which she found ironic because all Solitude could think of was protecting her mother...she knew how unpredictable Harbinger was...he could come back and wreak havoc at a moment's notice if he got angry. Regardless, Solitude knew she would protect her mother at all costs, as well as Nayeli.
Her mind then focused on the pup. Solitude could not imagine what uncaring family could abandon their child...they seemed no different than Harbinger.

Nayeli followed with her head down. She felt like an outcast. She wasn't wanted anywhere. She at least had to find Niyol. Then she'll be with him and that was what mattered. She looked up every so often to see that she was still following and keeping up with Solitude. She thought about why she was here in the first place. She could have been swept farther down the river and away from here or she could have been with her family even if it wasn't the best kind of family. At least she had Niyol and even her mother then. She sighed softly and looked up at the night sky. She hoped Niyol would be alright.
Her ears perked up and she looked around. "Y...Yes.." She spoked softly and smiled slightly. She didn't want Solitude to know how she felt. She sighed and kept on walking. She wondered how much farther this female was. She didn't want to be pawned off on another like she was an unwanted burden. She shivered a little and kept up. She tripped and fell down hard on the ground. She groaned softly and slowly stood up. She shook herself off as best she could. She didn't feel hurt and she kept on following Solitude. At least if she kept with Solitude then she'd get a chance to get her brother back and then they would find their own way back to Toko and then it would just be the two of them. They could help the pack when they got older but it would just be the two of them.

Solitude's heart knotted up as she heard the thud of Nayeli falling onto the ground. Before she could do anything the proud little pup was back up and maintaining her pace, swiftly. She could not believe how strong the pup was, especially for going through what she did. Regardless, Solitude released a deep breath once they arrived at her mother's small out-of-the-way den on the edge of the Toko Forest region, bordering the mountains to the north. Even in midsummer the cold drafts from the higher altitudes chilled the area, Faithless after all preferred such temperatures.
"Mother, are you here? I brought a friend with me! I think you will love her!" Solitude raised her voice while circling around to the entrance of the thicket. Dogwood bushes and pine trees towered behind the home and shadowed it from the looming stare of the mountains a few miles away. Faithless and Solitude made sure they found a safe area sheltered from Harbinger's prying eyes---granted he displayed zero interest in them.
"Mom, are you okay? I know I've been gone for a few weeks...the trek to the other side of Toko was a bit farther than I thought..." Solitude sounded a bit remorseful that she had been so far away from her mother for such a long period of time. It seemed a bit unfair to the mate-less fae, her own daughter leaving for a weeks with virtually no contact.
After a few seconds of waiting, a silvery white fae with a majestic sheen to her fur entered the entrance of the thicket from deep within its confines. Her brown eyes seemed exhausted and they seemed to sink behind the dark background in the den. The reason Faithless took so long was because she was probably sleeping. All she seemed to do was sleep for the past year or so, there was nothing else better to do.
"Hey Sol. I'm glad you're back safely...and I'm doing alright." Faithless barely whispered, squinting beneath the bright light the day brought.
"Well um...that's good! You haven't had any trouble with anybody lately have you? I certainly hope father..." the sound of the word father seemed to make Solitude sick to her stomach, "...he...didn't come back?"
"No he didn't. If he did though...I wouldn't care." Faithless sounded like just what her name implied...faithless. "Who is this little one?" Faithless turned her attention to the pup behind Solitude, expecting an answer from her little maw.

Nayeli looked around and stopped behind Solitude. The deen looked so out of the way and far from the small den she had back within the camp. She rather be there even if she didn't know many member she felt safer there than anywhere else. She didn't want to be pawned off on a fae that was so far from her new home even if it wasn't much of one without Niyol there. It was still home. She looked around and sniffed the air. She wanted to scoff at the sound of the word friend. She wasn't one. She was just a burden to be pawned off on someone else but she kept herself quiet. She needed Solitudes help and the help of her mother.
She listened for a bit not really paying attention. She was more interesting in what was around her than the conversation. She sort of listened but didn't quite under stand it. She did notice that the older female sounded sad. She looked down and then looked up at the older female. "N....N...Nay...Nayeli.." She looked down again and then back up at Solitude. She didn't like being the center of attention.
She hide herself behind Solitude even more and hoped that Solitude and the older female would go back to talking. She wondered when Solitude would let the older female know that she was being pawned off on her. She didn't like that one bit but there wasn't much she could do about it now that she was here.
