Tamaska filled the earth below her with her paw steps. She walked slowly and surely around the land she "thought" she knew the layout of. It was different, the ground felt.... different. She kept her nose high for any signs of life. None. So she kept walking, thinking that this may possibly be her new home, the place were she would dwell fro her life, she hoped and prayed to the ancestors above that this was it. That she would stay. "Hello to any that may be listening to my call, head my warning, my warning to you all. I come to seek acception, not to seek you harm, so please spare me if you see me and leave me my arms. I wish to see you up close, to meet you nose to nose. To finally be here my home, to go through the acception ceremony, as the tail goes. Please offer me the olive branch, so peace I will find, so please I will offer you an olive brach, and to you I will be kind." She howled to the wind, hoping that maybe someone would hear. Maybe if it was possible, they would find her petite self. And hopefully they would understand her riddle. For that is all she spoke, riddles. That was how she spoke. The sky was just breaking dawn and the sun was acceptionally bright. The stars long gone along with the moon. The beautiful day was just beginning and soon she would find someone. Someone to bring her home, someone to help be accepted.

He yawned, stretching beside his mate as the scent of a new day thrummed in his lime nose. One of his sides was plastered to the soft mossy bedding, his back against the side of his mate, her warmth seeping into his black pelt. Her thick, swelled stomach, round with his pups, expanded and then decreased against his spine and it made him want to go back to sleep. Instead, he knew he must rise and start his day. He huffed out a deep breath, keeping his eyes shut tight just a moment more before he rolled onto his side and opened them to the dim light of the den. It was warm, comfortable. Home. His mate was sleeping finally, and he swept his tongue across her ears, letting her stay asleep longer. He'd bring her something while he was out. His jaws cracked in a yawn, and he kept himself from stretching int he den, knowing his bones were going to pop, breaking the silence. He rose, exiting slowly out of the den through the small tunnel that let to the surface. He felt the squeeze and then braced himself as he stepped outside. Cold wind slapped him, and he shivered a bit, sad to leave the warmth of his female. But he kept moving, stretching heavy muscles. Down, then arched. His lime tongue dashed over his black snout, before he peered around, seeing if any were up.
He spotted no one, and was not bothered by that. It was extremely early after all, and he moved to trot out of camp. A whisper of a voice floated to his ears and he pricked them up, catching the last few notes. Looking for a home, he decided, blinking sleepy eyes in the brightening sunlight that turned the world a soft, gentle gray. His steps were long, if lazy as he bounded down the slope and into the cold water that was the marsh this time of year. He grumbled under his breath at the frigid temperature but otherwise did not change his mind set. Time to go greet another wolf. He wondered who it was, and what good skills they would bring to the pack. His pace picked up, turning into a steady lope. His tail flew behind him, water sizzling on his markings that were slowly waking as he was. His stomach snarled, but he ignored the grind. he'd eat soon enough, when he was hunting for Zephora.
It was only about fifteen minutes later when he spotted the wolven form. He breathed in the scent, hoping to find out who, or at least of what gender this newcomer was. But no luck. Mistress wind was not happy with him today. or the Guardians weren't. He twitched his ears forward and his muzzle lifted while his body slowed. He let out a small howl, short and brisk as he settled into a fast walk that brought him near the she fast. And it was a female, he now saw. His head canted to the left and he opened his mug to speak. "Goo' 'ay, lass. I be Kerrigan, alpha 'ere. May I ask who yew are?" he said, his voice strong with brogue but smooth with welcome.

The air blew to Tamaskas face and sent chills. She looked aroound, only to see a large black and green wolf standing feet away from her. She called to him, "My name be Tamaska if you should know, dont be appaled, please dont go. I can only speak in riddles, its a curse of mine. But if you can help me, soon I will shine." Tamaska almost seemed confused at her own words. Well it wasn't like she had a choice other than to be confusing. She smiled willingly at the big brute. Maybe he could help her escape to treturous depths of her mind. She carefully trotted over to him. He seemed kind enough to help a young lass like herself. "Now I have parted my lips to tell you of my name, now tell me, shall you do the same?" She quietly grumbled to herself, she hated her 'gift' so to speak. It was more like a curse to her, it forbidded her from saying orange in the last word of a sentence. The wind was still blowing, but the trees swaying now. Masky decided to sit. So she lowered butt to the ground right as a little beetle managed to pinch her. She jumped in pain. She quickly turned and pounced on it, leaving no margin for error. She squished it like the bug it was and turned with her head held high. She sat in a proud position and was very cocky about squishing, well, a bug. This was not very uncommon for her. The simplest things made her proud at herself, and yet, she always had to do better, what a world.

Well wasn't she an odd, wee thing. Not all together stoic and grown, but very odd. And the way her speech pattern was. Not truly a riddle, more of a poem. It was a rhythmic, rhyming line. Well, that must be hard for her. Not that there were many words that had nothing that rhymed with them, but to make sense it must take some effort. Or was it easy for her, like it was for him to talk? Like an accent of sorts? He really doubted she would be able to respond so fast if she had to consider each line carefully. He flicked his large, lime ears back and then forward, wondering what she would say next. And while he waited he considered the female. A good size, small. Tan with swirls of colors all over. Blue, to be specific. He titled his head, wondering where she had come from. Odd, to find more wolves. He was usually confused how wolves really got here. Kerrigan had cross the mountains....somehow. And some wolves told tales of just walking into Aelyn without being able to go back the other way.
But that was not important now.
He tilted his head, lime eyes curious as she spoke, asking his name after she had spoken her own. His eye ridges rose, mug tilting down a bit in a frown, going over his introductory sentences. Aye, he had said his name already. He sighed out a breath, ready to inform her of this but she proceeded to sit, freak out, and then kill the offending insect. His ears arched back and his face settled into a indulgent look, that bordered on annoyed. He flicked his tail, unsure how rude this female was trying to come off, but he supposed it was not totally what she wanted to achieve. He wrinkled his nose as she settled again, looking proud and he had a brief moment to wonder if she was missing just a few of her marbles. But, then again, every wolf needed a home and she seemed nice enough.
"I hae alrea'y 'old yew, lass. Me name be Kerrigan. Is a...pleasure Tamaska."

Tamaska theoretically scratched her head in confusion. He had told her his name? Well it wasn't the first time that somebodies words had completely slipped her mind. "Please pardon my absent mindness, I only mean of kindness. It is often that words of others just go through my ears, it has been truly happening for years. But please I wish only to have a home in this wonderous marsh, because its a place thats so unharsh." She managed her strongest, straitest, and most appealing smile that she could. She shifted her weight as the chilled wind blew through her fur and crawled up her spine. "I also apoligize for my sudden outburst of terror, I know it must have caused, in my appearence, some error." again she pleeded for forgivness at the great alphas feet. Her groveling was yes a rare thing, but also a kind thing. It meant that she really wanted something, that she was committed to the cause. She tried her best to soften her eyes; it was hard. She could feel the swirls on her sides flowing with the water of her body. It was warm yet chilling to the touch. Her smalled paws shuffled in a quiet and unnoticable manner. She was anxious to be accepted, yes, but she knew it would take some time. Sadly and reluctently she started to sit. But she quickly repositioned herself and stood yet again. It was unpolite, by her standards; rude to sit in the presents of an alpha.

'Absentminded, lass.'
The thought flickered through his mind as he watched her. It did not really matter to him if she had not heard him say his name. Or her mind had just thrown that information out. He understood. It happened to the best of them. And at least she took the time to apologize. It weighed highly in her favor. While he wouldn't deny her for a mistake, he would for rudeness. Kerrigan had found it tiresome to deal with wolves that had no respect. He did not need bowing and scrapping, but the formal greeting was expected. He did not accept wolves that did not understand the way of a pack and chose to ignore every ingrained rule. Number one being respect the borders and the alphas. Or the betas. The loner was looking for a home. It did not hurt Kerrigan to deny them, but it would hurt the loner if he said no and turned them away. As it was, he had yet to find such things wrong with this fae. He could see the embarrassment for her oversight and his lips stretched into a smile, to ease it. He didn't mind.
His ears twitched forward as she finished speaking. He had already known what the fae was here for but it still made a difference to hear her say it. How so, he wasn't sure. It was just proving him right, but then, it made him proud to hear that she wanted to join his pack. Sure he knew that there was nothing wrong with the Nigori Marshlands, but hearing someone say they wished for it to be their home just hit something inside him. It never got old to hear those words. Made it all worth it in his mind. Or something like that. Couldn't really describe it. At least not well. His thoughts stalled as a tickling behind his ear caught his attention. His hind leg tensed, but he ignored it to do a more dignified motion. Lifting a front paw, he let his claws dig through the fur. The flea stopped it's biting and a sigh whistled from his lime nostrils.
The fae began speaking again and an ear angled toward her. He smiled, white-yellow teeth flashing. "Is no' a problem lassie. 'Hink no more o' i'. Well 'Amaska, yew wan' a 'ome, an' a 'ome yew hae received," he murmured, nodding his head briefly as he accepted her into the pack.

The words set into her lost-in-wonderland brain. Was this the truth? She couldn't help but question the words, it was just something she was uncertain of. But there was no way someone would be so rude to mess with someone like this, especially an alpha. So her reluctant brain carefully excepted the statement. She grinned and looked at the alpha, "I am very grateful, this moment is oh so fateful." she felt her heart jump. Now her home had come, and soon she remembered her spell would break. It was something about healing herself through hearts or something like that? Well once the time came she would know. But for now she would concentrate on her new home, her family. She couldn't wait to be introduced to everybody in the camp. It would be a wonderful time she would have meeting so many new wolves. It would defiantly be a great adventure. She smirked at the thought of wolves actually seeming odder than her. But how was this possible, she giggled with enthusiasm. So strange. Her wait was over and now her efforts had finally paid off. But she hoped her actions had not affended her alpha, it was just a habit of acting like a spazz. So hopefully spazz's were welcome in Nigori. Wouldn't it be a great surprise to arive at her new home completely out of sorts and, well, spazzed. What a surprise indeed.

Funny creature, this female. So excited to be accepted that it made Kerrigan smile back at her charmingly. Somehow - though she was odd and hyper - he could find no aggression toward her or any will to make her calm down and be presentable. He supposed it was just her way and he had accepted it as such. Like he accepted the others in his pack for what they were, he would do so now. He did not accept bad behavior or course, but this spunkiness? He would not kill it. Wolves were too serious these days. Even the young ones were growing up too fast and it was becoming clear to him that some needed to be that way, but not all. He needed to be strong, have a clear look. He couldn't always be off gallivanting or chirping things at people. But he wasn't a stiff, he liked wrestling with Zephora [before she got pregnant] and he loved racing and growling like an idiot with some of his packmembers. In times of need he took his place as a strong leader and even when it wasn't needed he knew what way to act. He sighed out a breath, flicking his ears forward as the female spoke again.
Her way of speaking still made his brain rush to catch up. It was odd trying to figure out the wording, since she had to take shortcuts to give it a rhyme. But this one wasn't so bad. He grinned at her, teeth flashing and dipped his head a bit. "Well mee' 'hen, lassie," he said, pleased with her opinion on his approval. Her giggled had him peering at her from the corner of his eye and a amused snort flaring from his nose. Odd critter. He swished his tail and moved a few steps forward, his large paws making soft splashes in the cold water. A crinkle of sound - this ice breaking - echoed up, but the water was barely above his ankle and no worry. He judged quickly where they ere and breathed out, happy they were in the general direction that allowed for a clear stretch of marshland, not the deeper waters of the 'forest'. Those giant roots were the only way through and he didn't trust this hyper femme to such things yet. Not to worry, since they would travel through water that got up to elbow length at it's deepest in this area.
He turned his head, slit eyes flickering. "Ta camp 'hen? 'Tis no' so far," he woofed, tilting his head, gazing into the general direction, his nose pointing the way.

Tamaska was odd, and she needed a home. The marshes were the best place for her she thought. So now here she was, accepted and with a home. She looked at Kerrigan and smiled "Yes, yes to the pack, I guess." she nearly confused herself almost 99.9 percent of the time. It was just her nature to be confusing. So she jumped on her feet and readied herself to leave, to walk away with Kerrigan to meet her new "family" she was defiantly excited. She missed having a family, having a place to to relax and an ear to listen. She wanted to speak but truly her rhymes were tiring her, they always took a thought or too. But despite her attempts at breaking the curse, she could not. Breaking a curse set on you since your death bed as a pup was not an easy task to take on. So she tried her hardest to find things to think about besides her language, this always helped her. She thought of her puppy life, she thought of her future family life. She couldn't wait to see the pack, the wolves she would hopefully be living with for the rest of her life. She stood next to the alpha Kerrigan, compared to her tiny figure he was a beast in a black and green pelt. She was ready to leave, yet again she was almost wary on leaving behind her free life as a loner. Though frankly she had no where to go considering the loner lands were taken. But still she wanted a home, and this was her chance.
