Anybody play Spore?
It's a game from the creators of the Sims series. Personally, I like it way better than any Sim's game that I've ever played (even the new one that's out, Sim's 3). The game's graphics aren't exactly up-to-speed with some other computer games, but I think the quality of the content of the game totally out weighs any out-of-date graphics.
For those of you who are out of the loop on what Spore is, I'll give you the low down. You can basically create your own creatures and worlds, civilatations, buildings and vehicals. You can start out in the 'Cell Stage' where your creation is only a teeny microscopic organism in a small pool of evolutionary goo surrounded by other teeny microscopic organisms. You have two choices - eat meat - or - eat plants- whichever you choose will shape the evolution of your creature. Once your creature evolves from the cell stage you move up to land where you collect DNA and 'parts' in order to evolve. Each chance you get to evolve you can add parts and shape your creature anyway you want. After creature comes the tribal stage, where your creation forms the beginning of a civilazation. After tribal, civil and then after civil, the space stage.
But Spore isn't just a game, there's an online community where you can share your creatures and ideas with all Spore players. Other players can then experience your creations in their games and vise-verse for you.
So, does anybody Spore?
