It was warm. The winter did not affect the marshlands as much as it did the other lands. A cool wind blew through the marsh, bring the scent of salt, the pack that lived here, and the scent of prey. The sun was high in the sky, it's golden rays brushing the ground and bringing warmth to battle the winter's grasp that was trying to come and hold the marshlands in it's grasp. The sky was clear, a few scattered clouds, wispy and white, blew across the sky. The long strands of salty grass blew in the wind, a green wave. The terra was wet, with the rotting smell of vegetation. The tree's, covered in moss, where small and arched to bring shade to the forest. It's root's where in the ground, though some where up and in the water. Scattered prey where around the lands, nibbling on the grass or other creatures. It was home for these beast, and nothing would change that. Balance was brought, from the prey and the predators. The wolves where the top species here, but at the moment, they where in another part of the marsh. The rabbits, and other small prey at the moment where relaxed...until the wind brought a new scent. It was the scent of blood, the rusty copper scent that it was, and the scent of a brute...a lupo.
In the shadows, on the dry stretch of land, was a limping brute. He was medium built, with a large, thick boned dome. Large, tear-shaped auds where pricked, emerald, smoky grey, and icy blue orbs where staring a head with a dull gaze. His maw was open, pink and black lips bloodied and showing his white ivories. Black tongue was out as he panted, though it was raspy and hard. His pelt was a striking almond undercoat, and a light honey for his uppercoat. Lilac swirls trace his orbs and muzzle, in a elegant creamy peach color. A snow white halo mark is blessed upon his forehead, giving him a angelic look. Angel wings mark his rump, and lilac swirls cover his pillars. The last of the brute's unique trait is the thick, beautiful white wings that are gifted upon his back. He was a handsome, angelic lupo.
Yet, alas he had trouble. Placed upon him his bodice where multiple wounds. His pelt was covered in blood, a long gash running from his shoulder to his rump, jagged and dripping blood that was a dark crimson. A large wound framed his dome, across his right orb, and almost blinding him. Bite marks graze his pillars, crimson drops flecking the ground. His wings where not touch, but the brute was worn out. He had not faced a thunder storm, so he could not recharge and heal his wounds. The battle that had taken place in his old pack had wounded him, and instead of using his energy to heal, he had bestowed it onto a pup to get her to a new home. Now he was here, limping and panting, as he fought to stay conscious.
He stepped from under the foliage and into a open sunny spot on dry land. He lay there, watching the place through glazed orbs. His dome lifted weakly as a small howl came from his lips, weak but pleading...then everything went black. The brute lay there, his wings stretched out, and chest rising up and down slowly. It was a painful sight to see...a wounded angelic-looking brute exhausted to the point of unconsciousness. What would his future hold? What would this pack do to him? He did not know.
His name though...was Vidrio Brio.

Z E P H O R A Paws of white velvet thumped lightly as they touched down upon the ground before the young goddess, her ears being pricked forward and rather alert. Her gait, that had once been a slow and easy walk; a saunter, had then slipped out of that and into a brisk trot. Why? I'll tell you why, it was because she'd sensed something breaching the boarders. A how confirmed what it was, and the goddess soon took on off down through the marsh from where she'd been resting in the sunlight, to go and meet this hound that had entered her homelands.
--From Within --
I'd heard something earlier as I'd been making my way through the sunlight, enjoying the company of nature in this wonderful paradise that was my own, but as nice as it was to enjoy some time alone.. I still had my duties. I'd sensed the presence of a new aura within the lands, and that alone had gotten me to change my pace from going northwards off to the east. Why? I'll tell you why. Because even though our pack was rather healthy, that it seemed to be rather happy and strong; we still had our enemies.. and even with a strong alphess like myself and a handsome and strong like that of my beloved, we still needed to guard it. Queen of the lands or not, I wasn't a push over, even though at this current moment I was pregnant and rather swollen with the pups of my beloved Kerrigan.
My gait was swift and I soon meandered my way on through the lovely marsh to meet up with whoever it was that had dared entered my home, my ears having been tossed forward sharply to listen. But as I came even closer to where the encounter would take place, the winds kissed my nose with something that caused my ears to tug back with unease and a sense of caution; the scent of blood. I wondered quietly to myself if this meant that the wolf had just hunted, or if it meant that the he himself was injured; from the musk I'd also decifered that it was a male. My ears splayed softly as I continued forward, but soon enough my well rounded form came into view of the very beast that had made the cry into our wilderness; our paradise known as Nigori Marshland.
Looking the male over, I was somewhat hesitant in my thoughts, but then strode forward with an upward thrust of my plume till its tip kissed the skies behind me, my crown lifting in a regal manner so as to let this male know just who it was he was speaking to. I was no subordinate; I was the alphess. With grace and dignity I paced closer to him, my ears standing at attention atop of my snowy crown, my amber eyes taking in the full look of the male. "I am Zephora, alphess of Nigori... What did this to you and why?" I asked as I then came right up alongside of the male, my own wings unfurling from my spine somewhat as I looked him over. I'd need to get him moved; he was weak.. but should I do so without the company of my beloved? I wasn't sure at first, but I knew that I'd figure something out. The wounds upon his form seemed to be deep and ache, but I had no clue that the storms I called myself would be the thing to help him heal.

Vidrio Brio opened those glazed orbs of his, and panting deeply, he thought he heard something. His auds flicked to the side, one against the terra and the other straight up. He listened, hoping it was not some carnivore about to come and tear his entrails straight from his bodice. He struggled up but instead it just weakened him further. His dome flopped back onto the terra and he shivered with weakness and fear. His chest rose and fell quickly, his pelt bloodied and standing up. He coughed, his nose flaring slightly and his orbs flicked closed for a few minutes. His auds picked up the sound of footsteps again, and he relaxed for they where ones of a fae lupa. He curled his wings forward, but then they opened and he didn't try to bring them in. His lips twitched, blood seeping down.
Finally, when she appeared he opened those glazed, emerald, ice, and grey orbs. He listened to her speak and let a small smile play on his lips. Trying to find his voice, he replied "I was in the pack I joined...we where ambushed....I saved a pup whose parents abandoned her...instead of saving my energy and healing myself...I saved the pup and sent her with a pack...and I came here. I am sorry for intruding on your territory..alphess. I am Vidrio Brio..with the gift of electricity" his lyrics where weak and full of pain. His orbs dropped to the terra as he waited for her reply.
He was vunerable to a attack from her. He could no flee if he was rejected, so his life was in her paws. Would she help him, kill him, or abandon him. It was her decision and he could not change that..

My eyes moved over the pelt of the male before me, but as I did, the tips of my ivory ears swept back further and further into the locks of my beautiful mane. My brows furrowed as I looked at this rather pathetic looking male, listening to the story of what had brought him to end up like this. From what he said though, I could tell he was a good brute, for he'd saved a life as best he could before he'd come to these grounds. Soft smile lit my lips at his story, but just as I was thinking that I'd need to lift him, he spoke his name as well as his element.
My eyes slightly widened as I looked up to his eyes, having lowered my own in preparence to lift him onto my back as if he were nothing more than a pup, for I was surprised. "Then you will be feeling better in no time, my dear. I am a storm and electricity weilder."
I told him as I then backed up a few paces. I looked up towards the heavens then, thinking to myself. "Should I really be doing this? I hardly know this male, and for all I know, he could attack me.." but at the same time I pushed those thoughts from my mind. A life was a life, and his was in need of saving. There was no way I'd turn him away injured and hurt, or that I'd leave him to suffer. "It's okay, Vidrio.." I spoke in a soothing tone. "You're safe now.... Relax" sounded my voice as I looked to the patterns of the clouds. My paws spread slightly as my wings then spread as well in a magnificent display, my head then canting back as I sang into the winds, lifting the tips of my wings upwards till they were pointing to the heavens themselves. Energy flowed through my body, the sweet kiss of electricity as my nose then took in that sweet scent that you catch on the wind just before the rain. My eyes stared to the heavens as they grew darker while electricity simply pulsed free of my form, the clouds now rolling in as a great boom of rumbling thunder that was enough to shake the very ground I stood upon, sounded. My song ended as nature took its course. My whole body was alive with electricity, and the feeling was growing as lightning then danced through the skies, soon moving closer and closer to Vidrio and myself until at last twelve bolts of lightning struck the ground surrounding us in a circle, the white light creeping across the ground only to hit the form of myself as well as Vidrio. With this, both Vidrio and myself were revitalized with electricity and a new energy that only nature herself could give us. It was a soothing feeling, warm, comforting, almost like the embrace I'd felt my mother give me when I was but a whelp, and it helped me relax. I looked back upon Vidrio though, soft smile found upon my face as I watched the electricty dance about his form, healing the wounds that had been lashed across his pelt, renewing his skin and fur. Finally, my wings dropped posture once I was sure he'd have enough energy to stand, and just like that, the cage of lightning that had surrounded us hailed back into the heavens as a sweet pour of soft rain came down from the heavens. I moved over to Vidrio and lightly nudged my muzzle beneath him to help him roll to his feet if he needed it, looking to him with a light swish of my tail. "There, you should have enough energy now to get back to the dens for rest." I said to him, my form then stepping back. "You are welcome to stay here with Nigori as your home." I told him, then waiting for him to stand up, though I held a wing extended to him to help steady him if he should stagger. [/blockquote][/blockquote][/blockquote]
