Rysta yawned and opened her eyes. It was early morning and way to cold to go out. Her back leg was already hurting her more than she'd like. She wished she could remember when she got the scar and why it hurt so much when there was cold weather. She shook her head and knew that wasn't going to happen until she got her memory back and it wasn't looking like that was happening anytime soon. It had been well over a year now and nothing had come to her except a few dreams that didn't even make sense. She looked outside of her den and saw snow falling. She thought about staying in and laying there all day but there was patrols to be done and hunting to do.
She knew better than just lay about all day. That was lazy even if she so badly wanted too. She slowly got up and unwrapped her tail from her around her. She had to admit at least her tail was good for something. She was hardly ever cold when it came to winter. Her tail saw to that. It kept her warm not matter how cold it was. She would have to off herself up to Zephora as a babysitter since her tail was so long and would keep the pups warm when they napped. Not to mention she simply loved pups. She was sure that she was either a hunter or a babysitter in her life before she lost her memory.
She slowly made her way outside and looked up at the sky. A few snowflakes falling on her face and into her eyes. She looked down and blinked her eyes. She flexed her wings and stretched them. They hadn't been used in some time. Maybe she could get another wolf with wings to go do an patrol via air. They would be able to see what was going on and look down at the pack. She flapped her wings getting the blood flowing into them. First thing she had to do was to get a drink of water then to find someone to ether go on patrol with her or go hunting. She figured that someone had to be up this early. It was well before sunrise but there was usually one wolf that was up this early. She just had to find him or her.

"I am the last one standing" Sabbath
”Oh you know it’s true I’m obsessed with you” ”You’re the kind of toy I’d like to break” xxxxx Sabbath yawned and stretched out, her joints popping from being still for so long. The earth of her den was charred black from her body heat and she prayed that no one ever made a comment about it. Her pink tongue flicked out of her mouth to moisten her tongue and she smiled as she smelt the clean, crisp air outside. A small bark, so as not to wake anyone who was still sleeping, but to alert those who were up that she was happy with the morning, escaped her maw and she shook her pelt to shake off the blackened dirt.
She carefully padded out of her den, the cool snow beneath her paws melting slightly and she smiled wistfully, arching her neck and taking a small lick of the snow. It was her only true method to feel the cold against her body. Her ears flicked back against her horns as she was alerted to another wolf being around and walking, and soon spotted the other fae. With a bound, Sabbath wound up beside the femme with a grin on her face. "Want some company?" She offered, lifting a paw and letting her golden eyes drift toward the direction the fae had been heading. It was somewhat obvious she had been about to go on patrol.
She couldn't help it lately, the bubbly feeling of happiness that was welling up inside her. It had been so long since she hadn't been plagued with thoughts of the raid. Her mind had been more occupied with attending to those who needed it around the pack. She was more concerned with making sure her new family was safe, rather than dwelling on the one that would never come back. It had made her happier, not necesarily more leniant, but more easy going none the less. She seemed to be able to flow with the times now, rather than being comepletely stubborn and forcing them to bend to her will. She also seemed to be getting along with others better than before. Maybe she was finally moving on with her life.

Rysta nearly jumped when she saw a fae come bounding toward her. She didn't know everyone from the pack yet. She took a breath and smiled. The fae looked interesting and seemed nice enough. Company wasn't bad thing. She smiled and nodded. "Company would be nice. I'm Rysta by the way. It's nice to meet you. I'm kind of new the pack." It was pretty clear that she was. She had only been with the pack a few days to a week. She liked it here. It was nice and her back leg didn't ache as much as it did if she was more north.
"I thought we could do a patrol and maybe get some hunting in. Maybe we could find some rabbits to bring back for Zephora since she's with pups at the moment. It would take the stress off of Kerrigan abit." She thought that way she could help Kerrigan and maybe find a loner that would know her. She hadn't met anyone in this pack that knew her or at least heard of anyone looking for her. She looked toward the sky and wondered if maybe she should just accept that she wouldn't remember and move on. She shook her head no.
She smiled at the fae. "You can call me Ry if you like. Most wolves do. So, what's your name?" She fought the urge to call the fae by a nickname since she didn't know what the fae's real name was yet. She shook out her fur and smiled. The snow fall was rather steady and by the looks of it would keep falling while they both went on hte patrol.

"I am the last one standing" Sabbath
”Oh you know it’s true I’m obsessed with you” ”You’re the kind of toy I’d like to break” xxxxx Sabbath nodded quickly in agreement. It would be best if they were to fetch something for their pregnant alphess. Ker would surely appriciate something like that, but they'd have to be careful and not kill to much, especially in the middle of winter like this. It wouldn't do if they went off and killed an expecting female rabbit, that would not only be one less rabbit, but less rabbits for the next generation. Raising her head high, she looked curiously at the other fae as she gave herself a nickname. Sabbath herself, didn't have a nickname. All she had were two names. Hellion and "Sabbath," She replied, flexing her claws so that they dug into the soft snow that was melting around her feet.
She took a few steps forward and looked back towards Rysta. "I know where a fox's cash is, maybe we can get something there." She spoke, thinking of the place where she had first entered Nigori. Where she had first met Ker. And where she had finally been accepted into a pack. Not only was it a good place to find already killed prey, but live prey as well (In the spring at least). Very often, the scent of the decaying meat in the hiding holes drew the attention of some ravenous wolves, like Sabbath herself had been once.
The muscles along her back rippled in a tremor, still easing themselves out of sleep and groaning from being used so early in the morning. Her lizard-like tail furled and unfurled with patience as she awaited the fae's reply.

Rysta smiled. 'Well, it's nice to meet you Sabbath." She knew at least three wolves now in the pack. She was sure she'd meet them all eventually. It would just take some time. She didn't mind. She had lots of time to get to know everyone. Still, the chance to meet someoen that knew her before she lost her memory wasn't looking very good. No one knew her here and it seemed if she went to another pack to ask she'd get into way to much trouble and she didn't really want that. She would hope that her memory came back on its own and then she'd be able to return home where she belonged.
She nodded at the idea. "That's great. Should we hit there before we go on patrol and then bring it back or wait until after we get the patrol done? It doesn't really matter to me as long as we bring whatever we find back to Zephora and Kerrigan." She smiled. This was going to be really good. That meant they weren't have to go hunting for rabbits and kill off one or two that might have a family and young. They might be able to find older rabbit that didn't have young that they could kill or a fox.
She noticed her lizard like tail and smiled. "I never seen a tail like that before. I wish mine was like that instead of this long ass tail." She looked back behind her. It was dragging on the ground. At least during winter she got less dirt, twigs and other stuff tangled up in her fur and she was more or less clean. She smiled and flexed her wings again. It was still a little early and her body was getting all set to go on patrol. She looked at Sabbath and waited to see what she wanted to do. It didn't really matter to her because she'd end up back here at the end of it.

"I am the last one standing" Sabbath
”Oh you know it’s true I’m obsessed with you” ”You’re the kind of toy I’d like to break” xxxxx Sabbath smiled as Rysta spoke to her. Nice to meet her? Seriously? This fae wasn't terrified of her appearance? Somehow, this just made Sabbath's day better and she straightened her posture a bit, raising her head just a slight bit taller. Rysta wasn't the first wolf she had met in the pack, nor the second or third. But she was one that she hadn't met before. There were just too many wolves in the pack to have met them all yet and many more were pouring in, fleeing from Lucid's call or just fleeing from a previous life.
"Hmm... we should do patrol first. Just so that if we see anything, we don't look foolish dragging food along." She explained, and as the fae commented on her tail, Sabbath unfurled it to look at the lizard-like appendage. Her gaze flicked back and forth between her own tail and Rysta's long, elegant tail. She was jealous of her tail? Sabbath often wished for a normal tail, one that lessened her hellish appearance. But she could understand the jealousy as well. No matter how gorgeous Rysta's tail was, it was probably hard as anything to keep clean, and while Sabbath's tail could just beflicked upwards to avoid the ground, her tail could not. But still... "Err... thank you." Sabbath responded, unsure of just how to go about it. She hadn't been complimented on anything like that before. Coming here to Nigori was turning out to be the greatest thing in the world for her. She was actually making friends instead of giving nightmares and she was gaining compliments instead of terrified yelps. She was glad she had found this place.

Rysta thought that maybe Sabbath might scare a wolf by her appearance but it didn't bother her. Appearance didn't bother her. It was what was inside that counted and so far Sabbath was on her good side. She smiled and nodded. "That's a good idea. Beside we might even catch something along the way." She was getting kinda hungry herself but she could wait until she brought food to Kerrigan and Zephora first before finding her something to eat. She was in no hurry to go hunting.
She smiled. "Your welcome. I'd give to have a tail like yours or at least away to shorten mine. It's a royal pain but at least in winter it isnt so bad as long as there's snow on the ground. It doesn't get as dirty. It also knocks off my flying but I plan on doing that later after we're done patroling and getting that cash to Kerrigan and Zephora." She flexed her wings abit and shook off the falling snow. She hadn't worked them out in a week or so and she needed to keep them strong and fit just in case something happenes.
She looked around to make sure that no one else was up and going to join them. "Well, I think we can head out now since no one seems to be up just yet." She didn't mind the added company of another wolf or two but it would be easier to get the patrol done with just too. She hadn't really gone patroling here before and this would be her second time. She hoped that Sabbath knew the land better than her. She didn't feel like getting into trouble in such a short period of joining the pack

"I am the last one standing" Sabbath
”Oh you know it’s true I’m obsessed with you” ”You’re the kind of toy I’d like to break” xxxxx Sabbath peered at the other fae from the corner of her golden eyes, watching pointedly and listening carefully as she spoke about her tail. The winter snow. Ah, it brought such pleasure to Sabbath, allowed her to feel cool in her paws- a great change from the searing heat that was often felt. And flying. What Sabbath wouldn't give to soar through the air, full of flight and unable to come down from those unimaginable highs. Would she be terrified of the height- vertigo? Would she forget to breath and plumet to her death? Or would she be able to finally feel the freedom that she thought it would be? Would she never want to touch the ground again?
Swaying her head back and forth lightly, she grinned sweetly at Rysta. Giving a curt nod, she spoke "Of course, a fresh kill would be much better for Zephora than old, dried out carrion. Let's be on our way then," Sabbath leapt ahead at a soft, steady lope. She was sure Rysta would follow her, after all, they were doing patrol together. Yes, it was a bit arrogant of Sabbath to believe that the other varg would follow her willingly, she had to keep reminding herself that she was no longer the beta of her previous pack. That wolves who hadn't known of her previous status would stand up to her now that she was just a subordinate. It was something she was going to have to relearn- how to associate well with others.
