Kanatlar "You hit me once I hit you back You gave a kick I gave a slap"
Her form was small, her paws leaving prints in the snow as she dashed, weaving in and out of the trees. There was sure to be saftey here. If there wasn't, then her dreams would be chopped up into small bit by those brutish faes she used to run with. By those monsters who had destoryed what little home she had left. They had killed her father, her mother, and her biological father- right before her eyes. It wasn't right that they should now terrorize her. It wasn't right that they hadn't been struck dead.
And what could be sadder than villains being aloud to roam free? The fact that she, a brave she-wolf, was hiding from them because they might find her. Deeming herself safe enough, inside the new territory lines that she had crossed, her fur shifted back into it's brown and black colors. Shaking free the falling snow that landed upon her back, she lifted her head and scented the markers.
If she even caught a whiff of her siblings or anyone from her old pack, she refused to meet their faces. She refused to tell them the fate of the place they once called home- that it was now a lake of blood. Smelling nothing familiar, she sucked in a breath and let out a long, deep howl, announcing her arrival. Her blue eyes glittered as she finished the howl. Surely, someone would have heard that, right? She wouldn't be left here forever... right?"You smashed a Plate over my head And I set fire To our bed" [/blockquote]

Here and there, here and there. For most of the morning he had been collecting flowers, and now he arranged them in the neatest little pile outside his den. Being by far the smallest wolf in the pack, Xeno's den was original, a mere alcove above all the others, a small gap in the rocks that was filled with bundles of twigs and leaves. A clinging ivy twisted its way around the alcove, making a small curtain of leaves that he could push to the side whenever he wanted to see what was going on outside. It was intertwined in these leavesa that he placed the flowers.
Hovering above his bed, Xeno arranged the brightly coloured flowers so that they made a little pattern. Blue, red, purple, blue, purple...wait, that wasn't right. Due to the snow and the harshness of winter there weren't as many red flowers around, but he still didn't like seeing his formation upset. The flowers made him happy to go to bed and eager to wake up in the morning, a reminder that some flowers bloomed even in the winter, and a promise of the spring soon to come.
Chewing upon his lip, the tiny wolf - truth be told he would have only been a foot or so high when standing up, but he never really set foot upon the ground, preferring to fly - contemplated his problem. He thought he had seen a few red flowers blossiming upon the outskirts of the forest, but he was unsure as to whether or not the orchard passed the boundaries for the Toko Forest packmembers.
Only one way to find out! He thought joyfully to himself as his wings beat speedily, propelling him away.
He wasn't that far off when he heard the familiar requesting call and the unfamiliar scent of a loner wolf. His blue tipped ears twitched with curiosity, his flower formation forgotten as he changed direction rapidly, swooping to meet this newcomer.
He burst through the underbrush, lowering his altitude to become eye level with the newcomer - a pretty little fae, he noticed - and thrust his paws upwards into the air with a great vivacity, exclaiming his welcome.
"Welcome to the Toko Forest! I am Xeno, one of the Forest's packmembers, may I be of service to the young maiden?" He blurted out, his high-pitched voice and small size a complete oxymoron to his actual age. He was always excited when meeting new people, and tried to be as helpful and friendly as possible. As usual, his playful nature shone through as he flitted from side to side whilst waiting for the fae's answer.
Words: 447 OOC: Sorry if any of this post confused you Dx. Xeno is a wolf, but he is a very small wolf. Almost like a faery wolf ^^

Kanatlar "You hit me once I hit you back You gave a kick I gave a slap"
At first, Kanatlar thought she was imagining things when the tiny wolf first appeared before her. She thought maybe it was really a butterfly mixed with a little bit of a plant she might have eaten a while ago. When you didn't know what it was, you didn't know if it had side effects. And then the craziest of things happened- it started talking. Kanatlar let out a yelp and went to step back, tripping over a root and falling backwards rather ungraciously. Hey, she never said she was the most poise of all the wolves.
After scrambling around a bit, Kanatlar raised herself up on shaky paws and padded over to the small, squeaky creature. Lifting a forepaw, she swatted at the thing. If her paw went through it, she was crazy, if it didn't, the world was crazy. Finding that the thing was solid, as she swatted it to the ground, she backed up again- not falling over this time. "Are you really a wolf?" She asked, narrowing her eyes.
She honestly wanted to know whether this thing was of varg blood or just had a similar look. After all, some wolves looked so very close to a fox that they were often shunned for it by other wolves. And then, the foxes would not accept them because they were of wolf blood. It was a terrible body to have, and though Kanatlar's looked odd, she was proud of it and stood tall on her legs as a wolf.

His little face smiled and grinned as he watched the shocked look upon the other wolf's face. Then, suddenly, the air was knocked out of him quite abruptly and he was on the floor. He shook his little head, confused at this sudden increase of gravity, wondering why he felt he had a weight on his wing. Looking up he noted that the fae had one paw on his wing, so he pretty much couldn't fly. Well, how odd.
Casting his wide eyed gaze back to the other wolf, he regarded her with a seriousness to his light eyes that was not often seen in one such as Xeno. He cocked his head slightly, listening to her query and almost laughed out loud at the ridiculousness of it. Really a wolf? Of course he was a wolf! What an utterly silly question!
"Yes my fair maiden I am a wolf, a very good one at that. I may be a little small for my breed, but I am indeed a wolf nonetheless!" He chirped, unconsciously pushing with his little paws at the fae's paw upon his wing, feeling a few of the feathers getting a little smushed. He was not in pain but he was a little uncomfortable, and after all, he did pride himself upon the quality of his feathers. He needed to be able to fly, optherwise he would have a crick in his neck from constantly looking up to others all the time.
But her blunt question did spark some recurring curiousity in him, and for that he furrowed his brow. His eyes began to glow, a sign of him beginning to use his power, their light colour brightening as he tapped into his power. The power of truth, truthseeking. No creature could speak lies when he used this power.
"I see you maiden. Why did you think I was not a wolf? Are you afraid of something?"
Words: 324 OOC: Ugh, terrible word filler post. I have a lack of Xeno muse >.<

Kanatlar "You hit me once I hit you back You gave a kick I gave a slap"
Feeling his small paws pushing at hers, she lifted it, surprised to find that she had been upon his wing without meaning to. "Sorry," Kana murmured and took a step back so that she didn't crush the small creature again. She hadn't meant to step on him, honestly, she had just been surprised by his appearance. She wasn't used to such small wolves existing, all her life, others had been larger than her and she had always learned to fight for herself because of it.
Suddenly, Xeno's eyes were glowing and she found herself unable to look away from the tiny orbs. She felt like there was nothing that she could hide from this pixie-sized varg and it wasn't a feeling she liked, either. As he asked the questions, she tried desperately to fight the urge to spill her words out. She took pride in being able to keep secrets to herself and she took safety in the fact that no one knew everything about her. And yet, the words came tumbling out anyways, "Because I am not used to wolves being that small. I am only afraid of my former pack- they wish for my blood." She spoke, tears brimming at the corners of her eyes.
She hadn't wanted others to know about that. She just wanted a home to stay with for a while. She knew that her former pack would find her eventually, and she knew she would lead them away from her new home if that happened. She just didn't want anyone else knowing why she was so terrified of them. She didn't wanted anyone else to know what she had done. "Please stop," she whispered, the aound almost not existing. "I don't know what you're doing, but I don't like it." Her voice was weak and broken, like spilling her secrets had released all the pent up pain she had. She didn't blame the small wolf for it- there had been no way of him knowing what would have happened. It was mainly just her psyche, breaking down after so much terror in her life.

All at once, simple from looking into the eyes of this young fae, Xeno's heart was filled with the simplest, saddest array of emotions. His ears drooped as he saw those tears prick the corners of her eyes and immediately he felt very, very guilty. With his wing now freed, he flapped it a few times, breaking eye contact with the fae thus releasing her from his truth telling power. Furling his wing back up behind his petite body, he coughed quietly, clearly ashamed of himself. Though he was not to know he should not have pressed her so readily like that, he had that effect on others when he used his power.
His tail swished about him, curling in front of his paws to keep them neatly tucked in. He cocked his head, reviewing the situation the best he could in his embarrassed and ashamed state. She was afraid, afraid her former pack would come after her and hunt her. The poor thing. He stood up abruptly, his mouth firmly set. Xeno knew that Alphess Vanya would certainly fight to protect this young fae and would even accept her gratuitously into the pack. Vanya was kind and protective of all who walked here, and would give anything to help her pack.
"Come, young one. I do apologise, I had no idea you were in such pain. But my Alphess, sweet Vanya is kind and gentle. She will give you a place to stay within our pack and protect you from harm. Nobody wants to hurt you here, I assure you." He spoke softly, yet with purpose, unconsciously testing his wings against his weight before hurling himself into the air once more.
"I can show you the way if you like"
Words: 292 OOC: Sorry for the wait!
