There was a moment, only the briefest of instant, but there was recognition in her eyes. As if Celestia's words may have had, could have had some deeper impact on Harlequin. A soul so broken and deranged should have nothing to touch, but if there was something inside her twisted soul, perhaps it did pause to listen. But then, as fleeting as a cricket chirp it was gone, the madness filling the emerald void behind her eyes. Her broken ear flapped, the fur on it's tip chewed off to make a bald spot. "Ya know. Sometimes I think, that if I focus hard enough, I can make the entire world change. Gwush, all the bad things begone. But then, I am afraid... If I put everything I have inside on the outside, what will be left for me to think about when I'm nit supposed to be thinking. What will I have left if the stars are freed and the moon warden gets the day off? What happens if I make myself empty inside? I don't know... so I am afraid to try it," She smiled, tilting her head slightly.
She turned, looking out into the plains that stretched in all directions beyond this small, mysterious, gwushy place. "I think that I need to gwush a few things. The moon, it keeps whispering to me, gotta listen gotta listen, you gotta listen chief because three heads will make a god. The grass doesn't want to be red ya know? It's only like that because the moon has a BIG secret. It keeps dripping, the moon is bleeding with the sins of all those in this world. The moon carries the sin of the wolves, and so she is getting tired. Right now, the grasses are fine with taking the blood, because it makes them strong. But soon enough, all their little roots everywhere will be so full that they won't be able to take no more, no they won't no they won't. The moon will fall, and then, and then, all the pretty little sparrows, and the mousies, and the herrings will go gwush. Especially the herrings, poor little herrings. They are the realist ones of all, so it will hurt the worst for them." She looked down again, and then slowly looked back over one shoulder, "I'll be sure to tell Kiiiiilllaaaa about you. That way, we can all be friends, and then, and then, I can stop the moon from gwushing you too." She smiled, her wolfish features almost innocent despite the obvious mental disturbance that defined her every being. "And remember. Just because the path is hard chief, doesn't mean your not a tomato" She started to walk, away from the circle, from Celestia. She wasn't sure where she was going, she wasn't sure she was supposed to ever know that, she wasn't sure Celestia was real at all. But she was happy, because at least, she had a new friend.
