Nightfall swiftly caught up to Celestia as she flew from the interior of the Fukai Waterfall pack toward the Sacred Circle. As the wind caught her fur violently Celestia could not help but to revel in the fact that she was returning to the land in which she felt most connected to---the area in which she fell from the heavens. While the moth-winged fae knew she was returning to the Sacred Circle for only the second time in her life she could not believe how familiar the place was to her---she knew it like the back of her paw.
Majestically she descended and planted her paws onto the ground and took a deep breath as she continued to contemplate the problem at hand. Lucid's consistent desire to take over the pack lands made her blood boil. Of all the impudence and arrogance---no wonder why she had a dim memory of him being hated in every other life time. The more Celestia seemed to mature the more she could remember of her past lives, especially the most recent one. Angel was the only wolf who was aware of the past besides Celestia---which is partly another reason why the young wolf found her comrades presence so comforting. Then again....how the heck was Angel a comrade? Celestia had never met her in the current life, but as she matured she instantly knew of her.
Patiently Celestia placed her rear down and waited.

Angel watched, her form never leaving the confines of the Sacred Circle... her eyes saw all the lands... she need not physically move to know what was happening. Lucid was once again up to his usual... the hostile take-over of the packlands... and he had actually succeeded slightly in this life time. Angel sighed to herself as she realized the bloodshed that would happen because of this, and the effects it would have on the lands of Aelyn. She shook her head in dismay at the very thought.
Change happened, but it wasn't something that should be forced, as the bloodshed that would soon stain the earthly realm of Aelyn would do. Change should be gradual, not sudden, but this time around, it would have to be the latter, for Lucid had made it farther in this lifetime than any other so far.
He's learning... though he may not know it. I fear that eventually, he will finally succeed... not in this life time, but in a life time to come... and when that day happens, it will be a sad and sorrowful day indeed. Angel mused to herself, for she had no one to talk to on a regular basis. Celestia, while she was growing rapidly and coming to learn her own powers and purpose, was still slightly naive to the true past that had happened... and this was where Angel would come in... to help guide her, as she guides the mortal wolves, onto the path that she is destined to be on... to help remind her of where she has come from and what she has witnessed. Angel, by no means, was saying that Celestia was incapable of any of this... on the contrary, Celestia was fully capable of finding these things out on her own, but this brings us back to the fact that time is running out, and some changes are going to have to be forced upon Celestia prematurely, which is how Angel knew that today was the day she would meet her sister again, though for Celestia, it would be for the first time in this lifetime.
She smiled to herself, her kind eyes spotting her guardian companion. As Celestia sat, waiting, Angel knew exactly who she was waiting for, so she made her presence known. Slowly, a soft wind blew around the moth-winged wolf as a soft scent of a spring breeze mixed with the scent of wildflowers drifted around the Sacred Circle. The wind circled Celestia a few times, before moving a foot or two in front of her and settling slowly. From this wind, a faint shape began to take form, starting with the mystical blue eyes that held knowledge from the beginning, to the soft features of the slim and delicate form, decorated with intricate golden markings that seemed to emanate a slight glow. Finally, her faintly glowing wings came into view and she merged fully substantial in front of the young wolf.
"Greetings, Celestia. It is so wonderful to meet you, again, though I wish it were on better terms." [/b] She sighed and gave a slight bow, her body and form holding more wisdom than any mortal wolf could ever hope to have. She smiled at Celestia and waited for the young one to speak, though Angel knew what she would say before she even said it.[/blockquote]

Celestia's heart raised into her throat nervously as the immensely beautiful wolf emerged from the dark and made her presence known. Celestia could feel the sheer intensity given off by the age-old soul of her sister---while part of her feared such a soul, another part of her reveled in its presence. Angel appeared exactly as she did in Celestia's memory: beautiful, divine, and obnoxiously white. Her name completely suited her.
"I am honored to be in your presence Angel...it seems like it has been forever...in some senses it has." Celestia smiled as she lowered her head out of respect.
Unfortunately in the rush of excitement in the presence of Angel, Celestia could feel other less-enjoyable memories surfacing quickly. In the thick fog of her mind she could remember the touch of intense flame and the mourning cries of butchered wolves. Absolute horror overtook her and brought the fae to her knees at the awful cognitive sight of the past. Celestia could feel Lucidity's presence, she remembered the absolute raw power he possessed. The pain of wounds and emotional defeat stabbed at her heart as she found herself writhing upon the ground.
As the images faded Celestia stared up at Angel's sullen yet gentle face unable to grasp the intensity of the images she witnessed. Why was she experiencing such gruesomeness? Part of her could not understand why she was being exposed to such things after just coming into the world.
"I wish it were on better terms as well...it seems as though a lot has taken place while I've been gone...especially during the time I have returned..." She gasped.

Angel watched and listened as Celestia spoke. Angel knew that when Celestia saw Angel, that Celestia would have a flashback... and not a very happy one at that. She knew that it would take a lot out of the young female, but it was something that the Ancestors wished and that needed to be done... it was just a shame that it had to be forced upon her at such an early state, but Lucid hadn't been wasting any time in this life...
She watched with sadness as Celestia was subjected to the visions of the past... to the blood and the fire... to the hatred that swam around them at that point... and to the events that were slowly coming to pass again. Angel wished she didn't have to have Celestia go through this... or that the Ancestors could have found another way, but she knew that what was done was what needed to be done and she put her full trust in the ways of the Ancestors... after all, they were their creators and the first.
Once Celestia seemed to come to from the horrid vision, Angel wore a kind and apologetic smile, a smile that held knowledge that she knew this would happen, but that she hoped Celestia understood by now that she only allowed it to happen because it was the will of the Ancestors.
"I'm afraid there has. Lucid is putting forth plans much earlier than he normally does, and succeeding at a much quicker rate. I fear that in a few lifetimes, he may fully succeed." [/b] She sighed as she said this. She wouldn't interfere... it wasn't her place, but if past lives present themselves as similarly as they are now, then she knew that Celestia would interfere... that was the core difference between the two.. their own values. Angel never physically interfered, while Celestia did. "It is time you remembered the entire past, and what your mission is. Ask any questions of me that you would like. As you know, one of my gifts is Wisdom... the power to know all that has been and all that will be."[/b] She gave a kind smile as her brilliant blue eyes shined down at Celestia.[/blockquote]

Celestia grimaced in an attempt to make some sense of the things happening to her and the land around her. The meaning behind all of her memories and the reasons why she was growing so quickly made the circumstances even more daunting. Even amongst the chaos Celestia knew that Angel was right---she conveyed a completely honest vibe.
I know I was meant to feel this, Angel. Celestia said telepathically, finding the power to read her sister's thoughts almost as though she had never lost the ability over the unknown amount of years.
Celestia's mind wandered and focused on her past. Despite having more concrete memories about the chaos that took place she could not remember how she had died. Celestia knew that her duty was to guide the wolves of Aelyn on a path to peaceful well-being---quite similar to her sister's task. They had both been scent by the higher powers in order to provide stability and wisdom to those who sought it. Even though these questions plagued her the fae could not help but to linger on the current problem regarding Lucid.
"I remember him having dealings with deep rooted magics...dealings with a dragon in the most recent past life." Celestia contemplated out loud, "We have the same purpose, my sister? Bringing about order and balance to Aelyn...or whatever this place is called now?"
Celestia wore a calmed expression on her face after realizing who she was, it seemed as though Angel was already aware of who Celestia was---which made her a bit perplexed but that state of mind was pretty much her second name.

Angel smiled down at Celestia. It always amused her when their meetings came in fashions such as these, the opportunity to see the talents and mind that the great Ancestors gave unto wolves at work in its very best.
"Yes, that is our purpose, as it always has been an as it always will be. Lucid has never gotten this far before, a concern that even the Ancestors feel. I am afraid we have our work cut out for us this time, Sister." [/b] She gave a small sigh, her body seeming to glow slightly around her. She sat tall and calm, not proud and not overbearing... just in a more regal and poised posture that showed her vast knowledge in a way. She smiled at Celestia again. She knew the exact outcome of the battle, what would happen, what blood would be shed... and where it would lead, but even she was not to share such knowledge, even with Celestia. It wasn't her choice, but part of her duty. Angel was given Wisdom as one of her abilities, used to impart needed knowledge to those who seek it, but not to interfere or change what is and what will be. As much of a burden it may be, she handled it well and calmly flicked her tail as she watched Celestia. "You always seem to have an affinity for the areas with water... and you are certainly drawn to Masina every time."[/b] She gave an amused expression, deciding to make some sort of conversation. She never interfered with anyone's choices and generally didn't lead the way with said choices, so instead she sat and waited.[/blockquote]

"Thankfully the future is always prone to change...another delightful characteristic of having foresight." Celestia chuckled, happily accepting the fact that she did not have knowledge of the future like Angel did. Even though knowledge was a beneficial thing, Celestia was well aware of how painful knowing actually was. Something she knew Angel was definitely used to.
Celestia's eyes raised at the sound of Masina's name, instantly she pictured the gold and white fae within her mind. Deep down she realized that she knew both Angel and Masina in her past lives---for a moment she wondered if Masina too was sent down from the heavens, but even that information was unknown.
"For some reason I was attracted to Masina first. There's just something about her I find fascinating...I don't know how to describe it." Celestia pondered out loud, opening the opportunity for Angel to shed her own opinions on Masina, "And there's that other wolf, the one who is vastly different from the rest---the one who found me. Obsidian. Have you heard of Obsidian?"
Celestia felt partially timid because of all the question's she was asking, yet she knew that Angel had no problem with her inquiries.

Angel simply smiled at Celestia, more than happy to answer her questions and inquiries... it was part of what she was made to do and she took great pleasure in doing so. She simply nodded in kindness and began to speak.
"That is true and a wise thing to say, dear Celestia. The future is always prone to change, but even with that, I foresee all paths that may be taken by those who walk each one individually, so while one makes a decision to change their current destiny, I see all the ways their destiny could unfold, each with its varying possibilities, but also there are some that always seem more logical per character and creature than others." [/b] She smiled a knowing smile, but nothing arrogant... Angel was never arrogant or proud, just a being who guided others. "As for your inquiries about Masina... you and her share a past together... in the past, you were drawn to her before, and in the future, you will be again. As for how you would describe what draws you to Masina, could it be the aspect that one who holds a heart so pure, with a past so dark, could be so light? Or perhaps it is because she holds a certain weakness to her that allows her to be too easily corrupted when pressed the wrong way? There are many different reasons as to why you would be attracted to her.. perhaps because she is also vastly similar to you or myself, though in a way that the Ancestors did not create? That a being such as herself could actually exist among a world that is so full of chaos and darkness? There are many musings I could give you to ponder, all of which would lead to different outcomes and paths. I am sure this gives you a lot to think about. Perhaps you could do a little soul-searching and find out some answers to your own questions? Experiencing your own past lives is much more informative than reliving them through another."[/b] She smiled at this, imparting part of her knowledge upon the other female... not that Celestia needed any additional knowledge... she would come to her answers in her own good time, as Celestia was one who was witty and very intelligent, even before her time to be was. "Ah, as for Obsidian, I know a great deal about our friend. In your past life, he was not a great deal in your life, for your paths had never really crossed. It is interesting that he should be the one to find you in this life, clearly showing that small shifts can happen, past or present. I know that in the past, he has led a most lonely life, and it is nice that he had found someone in this life to call his own and fill the void that has plagued him for so many lifetimes. Interesting to see how things change from one life to the next, although you and I experience these changes in a very different matter, yes? Anyway, enough of my musings... what particular things did you have in mind of learning? Either about other wolves around here or about other things that are probably springing up with each word that I speak?"[/b] A small chuckle escaped her lips as she gazed with unending kindness down at Celestia. She sat calmly, enjoying the atmosphere and glad to have some enlightenment in such a dark time.[/blockquote]

Celestia closed her eyes and contemplated for a few moments. Honestly she felt a bit dumbstruck in the light of the events that had taken place. A mere few weeks ago she was a small child hatching from a space egg, now she was a growing adolescent learning about her past and current existence.
"It must be difficult possessing such a vast gift, is it not Angel? Sometimes knowledge can be painful, just as much as it can be beneficial." Celestia curiously stated. There was so much she wanted to know, but she had no idea where to begin. Not to mention, she did not want to irritate Angel.
"How do you recommend I do this soul searching? I need answers, and if things are as bleak as yous ay they are then I'm going to need them pretty quickly. I feel like I've been ripped from another world and thrown into a murkey pond." Celestia shook her head negatively and stared off into the distance. "I have to keep reminding myself that this is my destiny, and that I'm meant for this."
With a deep sigh Celestia sat down and stared at the ground in front of her---observing the tiny pebbles, rocks and clods of soil acutely. Part of her felt extremely connected to the land, she had to protect it...and guard it with her life. Despite these passionate feelings she did not know where they originated from.
"I belong here..." she whispered.

Angel smiled at Celestia, a small spark of amusement shining in her blue eyes. It wasn't degrading or downplaying her in any way... in fact, it was a spark showing she was proud of Celestia, though she rarely showed too much attachment or emotion to others. Angel loved when others searched for knowledge, and for Celestia to be doing so at such a young age, before her time of maturity had come, proved that there was the capability for all to learn, even if Celestia was much different than the mortal wolves of these lands.
"Once again, you do not realize the wisdom you, yourself possess with such inquiries such as knowledge and its burden. Yes, it is very much a burden, but with all my years, I have grown to learn from this and grow from it in order to reduce and nearly forget about its burdens, though it has taken many lifetimes to do so. Its not an easy task knowing what I know, but it is part of who I am and I need to accept it, simple as that. It is my job to know all, and the great Ancestors would not have created me with this knowledge if I could not handle it, just as they would not have introduced your destiny so young if you couldn't handle it. Knowledge to me used to be painful, but I learned to detach myself from the pain it caused me. This is why I do not get close to the mortals, it allows me to better do my duty that has been bestowed upon me. You, however, are much different in this aspect, and in the past, these two aspects of ours have clashed and ruffled your fur the wrong way." [/b] She gave a bemused smile at the small pup before continuing. "I can answer what questions you need answering to now, though any questions you have that are not so pressing to the matters at hand are more beneficial to you through soul searching."[/b] She thought for a few seconds, though it seemed longer in her lifetime than that, before she came to a conclusion on how Celestia could do some soul searching for herself. "What do you feel most connected to and where? Where can you relax the most and let your mind flow with the world around you? Do you know you were created and born from these very lands? The earth that you sit upon? You were created by the Father himself, Kuragari. Find the place you feel most connected, at peace and calm and use that for your soul searching. When you get to that point, you will know what you need to do."[/b] She gave a kind smile and allowed her tail to sway gently before her paws as she continued to muse about her own knowledge and what would be appropriate for this time and what would be appropriate for another time. "With your soul searching, you'll better understand what I have spoken to you about. I don't expect it to make perfect sense now, but it will. I can still answer what queries you may have now, should you have any that you don't think you can find through soul searching or any other means. Either way, I am here to help and guide you, until you fall onto your path and understand fully your destiny."[/b] She nodded respectfully and kindly to her colleague.[/blockquote]

Celestia smiled in return and admired Angel's words. Her memory of the white fae became clearer the more they conversed. She pondered the wolf's words and began to think of a place in which she felt at peace, and comfortable.
"We had so many quarrels in the past, Angel. It's peculiar because we seem to get along much better now. Maybe Mayonaka and Kuragari realized that ultimate purity could not be achieved with disagreements between their Aelyn Heralds." Celestia faced Angel with passion in her eyes, "I like it better this way than our past lives. I feel comfortable here with you because I know we have the same relative calling. A calling that no other wolf could possibly understand."
As she finished her thought Celestia began to wonder if there was another wolf out there who could possibly understand her predicament. If by some chance a wolf could unlock those forgotten emotions lost in her rebirth she may be able to recall all of her memories perfectly. Instantly, Obsidian and Zircon came to her mind---both wolves who were proficient empaths and dear friends.
"I just had an idea Angel. If I can get an empath to unlock those forgotten emotions I'll remember everything. Emotion is often tied to memory, so I can see it working. I am most comfortable around you and my friends at the Waterfall pack, I feel that my answers should be sought there. What do you think, Angel?" Celestia smiled with hope glowing in her eyes.

Angel smiled as Celestia held her musings and shared them out loud. Her eyes sparkled with knowing as she gazed down at the younger wolf. She nodded her head kindly and looked her directly in the eyes, like an equal.
"I say do what your heart tells you. You are yet still a pure soul, and will remain so, should you still follow the path of light. Even us as messengers of the great ancestors still hold our free will and are subject to choose a darker path. Remember this, and share it with any whom you cross that might fall into the darkness. In the past, those you have been close to have fallen down this path, a particular individual comes to mind, though I cannot say more than that. Now, I know how you are tied to the wolves at the waterfalls... you've always been one to be drawn to the pack that Masina resides in. Go there, and I'm sure you can find most of the answers you seek." [/b] She nodded, her body moving forward to nudge Celestia in a greeting and a parting manner, before she pulled back and smiled. "I'm around, should you seek the wisdom of a colleague. For now, I will depart, and allow you on your merry way."[/b] She gave a final smile, before her form slowly began to fade into the night, a mild wind carrying around them, though gentle and warm, despite the frigid air. Her fur blew gently as she stood and slowly turned. Her form, fading ever-so-slowly, managed a look back at Celestia and a final smile, before Angel finally faded into the night without a sound. The area around where they were grew dimmer as her form disappeared, her glow that followed her no longer illuminating the Sacred Circle. The wind slowly began to subside, leaving behind the still silence of the night.[/blockquote]

Gwush? Gush!? GWUSH!!? She gwushed she gwushed. There one second gone the next, she gwushed she gwushed. The manic repetition in her mind mused. There one second gone the next, that means Gwush. "One two three four Gwush!" She yelped with excitement, bouncing on black paws, the claws chipped and broken in painful places. Bounding feet, wild eyes, and one broken ear flapping wildly with every movement as she zipped at Celestic. "Didn't smell me, no no no didn't smell me cause I hide, sneak sneak sneak. I'm really good at hiding, really really good ya know. I can get low like this ya know," She flattened herself onto the ground, her tongue hanging slightly out of her maw, her eyes focused intently on the new friend she found in this odd circle of stones.
"Downwind ya know. Thats what the moon told me to do. Or maybe it was a bush... a frozen bush. Said it wanted to be on fire, but it was frozen, frozen frozen frozen like a little mouse who fell in a river, but decided he liked it so he stayed until winter, but he froze. Silly silly little mouse, silly little mongrel. But we must not eat him, little frozen mousy, because then we get the plague and we don't get to gwush anymore." Her eyes refocused, flicking across Celestic, seeming to try and devour her presence at a glance. There was something, off in those eyes, something old, something deranged and frighting, and wonderful. "But the girl. The pretty little wolf girl she Gwushed. Here one second gone the next, thats what the warden moon told me. Told me the same night he told me about the grass and how they are red when we are not watching, preparing for the day they will rise up with the little frozen mousies and overthrow us all. Don't ya know? Don't ya!?" She paused, gulping down air. "Forgot to breath. Gotta breath if your going to Gwush. So many rules, so many many rules but I wanna gwush too so I have to breath ya know? I'm Harlequin, who are you? Whats your name? What is this place, feels funny, looks funny, I think it's funny but I'm not sure if I should laugh at it. Here let me try," She sprung to her feet and jumped, landing with a surprising amount of grace onto one of the stone seats meant for the ancestor spirits. She paused, then let out a long, squealing cackle, the sounds of her forced joy echoing out across the plains.

Celestia barely found herself preparing to fly when this peculiar dark wolf leapt out of nowhere babbling an elongated strain of nonsense. Lightly she rested her moth wings and turned---curiosity plaguing her eyes. As this wolf plagued her presence, Celestia could feel herself succumbing to being light-headed---however she did not let it overwhelm her completely. Part of her was aware of this wolf’s existence, her telepathic powers allowed her to sense the minds of even the insane.
In her entire existence across the current life and even into her past lives, Celestia had come across many instances where a wolf could be considered ‘insane’. Dreon her age-old lover killed her only pups in one past live---Lucidity’s obsession with power dominated many of her previous lives. The vibrant fae could even recall the split-minded Baztek and the problems behind that. Harlequin’s situation seemed a bit more different than each of those instances.
Due to Harlequin’s unique ability, Celestia dared not linger on those memories too much---she could almost see them emerging into some sort of contorted reality. This wolf did indeed possess a unique yet unstable power. She could only imagine the pain Harlequin could inflict upon defenseless wolves---especially the weak minded who were susceptible to avid hallucinations.
Perhaps this was but the starting point of Celestia’s journey on the path of knowledge and wisdom. Unlike Angel’s duty, Celestia was tasked with the obligation of integrating herself within the deep vined society of Aelyn. Perhaps the first sprout of her destiny in this life started with Harlequin. The fae bowed slightly, the antennae on her head twitching.
“I am Celestia. What brings you to the Sacred Circle, Harlequin? Do you seek the guidance of the Ancestors? Do you desire the wisdom of Mayonaka and Kuragari?”

Words, fanciful, eloquent, gwushy in all kinds of ways. Harlequin's head tilted as Celestia's words seemed to float in one ear and out the other. Drifting thoughts give way to bursting power, or at least a glimmer of it. As Celestia spoke her words appeared floating in air, passing into one of Harlequins ears, and passing out the other side, her eyes glazing over in a mixture of astonishment and insane awe. Finally, after a long silence, her ear flapped, a small twitch, and all the wild attention returned. "YOU KNOW MY NAME! How do you know my name? Did the frozen mousies tell you? Wait... I told you didn't I? I tolds you cause the white one went gwush, gwush, gwush, one two three for the power of god is in the trees ya know?"
She shook her head again, hopping in place atop the ancestor stone. "Ancestors, ancestors, I am an ancestor to the herrings, as they are to me. Ya know? And then one day, the herrings will get lost, and I'll find them, and help them gwush, gwush so they can walk, and talk, and breath air. And then, and then, and then, they will meet the grasses, and the grasses won't have to be red anymore because they will have a friend. Everyone needs a friend ya know. Do you want to be my friend? I have a few friends but you could be my friend too, ya know? I have one friend, and her name is Kiiiiiillllaaaaa. But we have to be quiet cause it will make her ears hurt when we yell. Like this KIIIIILLLLAAAA," She dropped to her belly, placing her paws over her muzzle, "I yelled, I yelled and I should know better. Now Kila will be so mad, I don't want her to be mad. She is smart, she gwush away all the bad things by being blind. I wish I was blind sometimes, it would kind of be fun, like your in a giant game of hide and seek that never ends. Or constantly whacking for a paper animal your never going to find. Whats a paper animal? I think it starts with a P." She shook her head, burying her muzzle, eyes peeking up over her mangy fur, as if trying to reveal a secret she vowed to keep. There was something, for the briefest of moments, a glimmer of life, of sanity. But, it was most likely a trick of the light, a fleeting illusion just like the rest of this fae.
"You see. I am insane, dangerously so. You should run. Run run, one two three four one two three four. The moon is made of cheese and the moon is a goddess. So does that make her cheese? I think the other, she is the moon. She gwushed, and so she must be the moon. The moon taught me to gwush, the moon taught me, and if she can do it she must be the moon. You saw her, tell me she is not the moon. Tell me and I'll be bad, I'll be dangerous, and insane and I'll hurt people, lots and lots of people..." She bolted to her feet, "I don't like this, lets talk, talk talk talk, mind your manners young pup and talk," She shook her head again, ear flapping in wild erratic motions. Then, her fur seemed to ripple, as if the shadows of a thousand nightmares were hidden just beneath the surface of her existence. In the end, thats all she was, a handful of shattered pieces of sanity and an illusion, a body without a body. After all, if she didn't notice the coils of the flesh, who was to say it was there at all?

Celestia twirled her tail around her legs and placed her rump upon one of the rocks while listening to Harlequin. While she knew the wolf considered herself insane, part of Celestia felt as though she could understand the contorted fae in some peculiar way that she could not describe.
"I would be more than happy to be your friend, Harlequin. I'm afraid I have not heard of the one named 'Kira'; however, perhaps I shall meet her one day. You don't have to worry about me disparaging you because of your condition---each an every wolf deserves respect, all life deserves respect." Celestia muttered with positive eloquence. She could only imagine how freaked out other wolves would be in the midst of such a mentally unstable wolf. Celestia knew that Harlequin's condition was fairly severe, but it did not intimidate her. Even the most turbulent waters could be calmed in some fashion.
"Why don't you have other friends?" Celestia asked, hoping to learn a bit more about Harlequin.
If there was anything Celestia knew she had to do, it was to familiarize herself with all of the wolves populating Aelyn. The moth-winged fae knew that it was part of her destiny---she needed to know the different personalities and points of view in order to integrate herself exceptionally. Celestia would not let bias or favoritism cloud her judgement, she would willingly open her wings to any wolf as long as their intentions were sound and harmless.

An inquisitive pause seemed to ripple across the shattered beauty of the fae, her eyes narrowing slightly. "I have to try real hard ya know? I get so excited, and I want to tell everyone about all the wonderful things I know. But I get too excited and I annoy them. Its hard ya know? One two three four a mother goose just laid her eggs but discovered them to be ducks instead." She let out a small giggle, rolling onto her back and letting her head hang off the ancient stone, "Poor little goose. Husband killed her for cheating that he did that he did," Her tongue rolled a little out of her muzzle, hanging as she looked inverted at Celstia. "Hard, ya know do ya do ya, one head makes a wolf, two a monster, three a god. It's hard not to talk, because when I don't talk, I think, and when I think, the bad things come out, and I have to gwush them away, and when I gwush, people get scared. Like Kila, she got scared, thought about a bear, big scary bear. His name is Tak, tak, tak it on the wall because it has nowhere else to go,"
"So, when I can't think, and I can't talk, thats when the scary one comes out. Scary scary scary. She doesn't respect the moon, or the stars, or no one. Not even the big black murderer. Devil he is ya know? They say his name is Lucidity but how can clarity be in insanity. Some people call me crazy... ya know?" She laughed again, but this time smaller, more repressed and quiet, the momentary burst of insane thought that repelled most subsiding. She could feel it, the urge to talk, to speak the only truths that made sense in a world so cruel, but not yet. No no no she had to hold it in, or annoy Kila. Kila was small, she could be anywhere, small Kila could be anywhere, walking with Harlequin. Things were easier when there was someone to walk with, someone who couldn't see, couldn't see, couldn't see.
"SEE! There! I almost did it, I almost started thinking, and then, and then, it started to come. With the sneaky parts, thats where Tak lives, the sneaky sneaky, dirty dirty, parts. Told to wash those out with soap but I don't know what soap is because soap doesn't exist. Also it's in my head and I don't think soap is CON-DUS-UV to higher thought." She rolled back onto her belly, seeming to study Celestia for a moment, "Your fun. Do you want to see? Huh do ya do ya? Want to see what happens when I think? If I think I know I'm real, but do you? Who does. This rock may not be real, the ground the sky, only the moon is for sure real, well, the moon and my thoughts. Those have to be real don't they? The moon tells me it's secrets, tells me about the souls trapped in the sky and how and how and how she has to watch them, because if they escape, of he will be so angry, so very angry and then he will come. Will say they died when she was asleep, but he comes and gobbles up the moons puppies," She shook her head, swaying, coming a little cloise to tumbling off the rock. "Wanna see? Wanna see what happens when i think?"

Celestia shrugged her shoulders in a caring manner and kept attention focused on Harlequin. It was hard to believe that such a unique wolf was feared by so many wolves. Celestia was quite familiar with her ability, while part of her did not want to experience the eeriness of the power---she felt that Harlequin needed to prove herself to at least somebody willing to understand. That was the biggest problem in Aelyn, the lack of understanding for the fellow wolf, Celestia knew of this even before she came back to life. Every new life seemed plagued with selfishness and lack of interest. It was clearly something that could not be avoided regardless what life she was in.
“I do not fear being exposed to your unique gift,” Celestia stated politely, “But I must ask, do you fear your own power? You speak as though it haunts you…Do your life experiences trouble you to the point of losing control of your abilities?”
The sapphire eyes of the mystic fae could not help but to be curious when it came to Harlequin’s history. She knew that the poor wolf had experienced a great deal of turmoil during her existence and Celestia assumed that that had some sort of impact on her current mental condition.
“If you feel uncomfortable, you do not have to answer me my dear. I could sense a darkness deep within your heart that seems sealed off to the rest of reality. I mean no disrespect.” Celestia smiled and prodded her paw in the dirt at the base of the sacred rock, observing the claw marks and the shapes they took.
Celestia could not help but to admire the shapes in the sand. Most wolves would find her ridiculous for taking notice of such things but existing in a non-corporeal form in the heavens made it difficult in regard to enjoying and basking the pleasures the world had to offer. Yeah, an odd sense of immortality was rewarding, but sometimes mortality seemed just as promising.
With intrigue, Celestia waited for an answer.

"Darkness? Doom doom despair, the herrings speak but only on the full moon. They whisper hateful little things to the sneaky parts. Dirty dirty sneaky parts that need to be washed with soap. What is soap? Why can't I let go of soap? I can't let go of alot of things, sometimes, sometimes, sometimes one two three four one two three four." She finally, and gracefully leapt from the rock, abandoning the ancient stone in favor of a small cricket which leapt across the ground. "Poor little cricket," She whispered. "It doesn't know, doesn't know that it's a dream. See if I am real, because I think, then the things I think have to be real. If thats true, then everything else is a dream. I think your real, even though I didn't think you up. One two three, life falls down once the moon grows to heavy. She is too heavy, too heavy, too heavy, too many sins to carry."
She nudged the small insect with her nose. The insect leapt, landing a few feet away, Harlequin hopped in response, just a little, landing just behind the cricket. "This little bug. Does it think It's real. If it isn't real, even though it thought it was, that means I may not be real. So many thoughts, so confusing. Necessary, necessary, necessary gotta shatter up the everywhen if your going to fly Chief. Had to hide, had to hide, Kira was killed Kira was killed. NO! Kira hid!" She shouted. Silence settled for a moment, the breeze moving silently, bending the blades of grass around the circle, a flurry of green, or maybe... red? "Sneaky, sneaky, something is sneaky, it wants out but we must never let it free. Lots of people will die. The shadows, they like her better. They only obey me because I know how to gwush. Want to eat me, want to eat me. Stronger, so strong now. I can feel them, so deadly, so so so so so so so one head makes a wolf two a monster and three a god... CELESTIA!" She shouted, and with a flurry of motion she threw herself to her feet and rushed until her nose was pressed against the moth wolves snout.
"I'm a wolf. But I have two heads, one inside, one out. So I have to be a monster. Do you understand. Munch munch munch munch, said it was my fault. But I knew, gobbled them up he did. Too hungry in the winter. Munch munch crunch. Bones snapping, flesh tearing. My favorite was named Spright, he was saved till last. Crunch crunch crunch. Monster's are being born Celestia. Monsters every second." Around Harlequin the shadows started to gather, unfamiliar, horrid shapes slowly taking form. Small, insignificant little things, a mouse with the legs of a spider, a fox with black ichor leaking from it's eyes. But none so terrifying as the creature who rose behind her. Tak, lord of all that is lost, the bear's fur slick with innocent blood, it's eyes long decayed to festering pools of maggots. "NO! NO NO NO GWUSH!" As if commanded away by some demon general, the shadows simply vanished. No evidence of their passing, just shadows, just mirrors of a nightmare. "You see!" She yipped, bouncing, "I gwushed. Here one second, gone the next, I gwush I gwush I gwush! Celestia, whats the word? For when you want something to happen, but then you don't. And when that thing happens nothing will be the same again? Whats the word whats the word?"

Celestia’s eyes glanced at the shadows around her before they miraculously vanished as quickly as they had appeared. Like she originally suspected, Harlequin had the unique ability of manifesting her emotions, hallucinations and thoughts into actual physical apparitions. While it was quite alarming Celestia maintained her composure. She could tell how overwhelmed Harlequin was after experiencing such chaotic power. The fae could only imagine the overwhelming sensations she was going through---hallucinations, dreams becoming real, and even foresight. Not many wolves possessed the ability to see the future, it was truly a gift beyond all gifts---and a curse in some regard. Celestia could remember seeing the future through dreams in some of her past lives, no doubt one of her later powers that had not been developed yet.
Celestia glanced back down at the cricket that speedily hopped away after the apparitions vanished. She too was intrigued by the questions Harlequin posed about the differences between reality and the dream world.
“There has always been darkness in the world, Harlequin, and I have a feeling there always will be. Without dark there cannot be light, and without light there cannot be dark.” Celestia smiled while gazing at the world around them before turning her attention back onto her new friend, “I want you to know that I do not consider you a monster and that I would be more than honored to be your friend, yes everyone has a tumultuous past but what happens in the past is in the past. As time moves we all change whether it is for the better or for the worse.”
Celestia pondered on that thought and knew that she had changed a lot ever since she hatched from her celestial orb. In fact she had changed considerable since the beginning of her existence. To her time and reality did not seem as important as it was to most mortal wolves.
