Kila was about to respond to the brute, when she heard the approach of another. She figured this female was airborne, only because she was unable to sense her with her abilities. When the female spoke, she changed her attention to her fully, realizing even before she said it that this was an Alphess.
She had the scent of pups around her, which made Kila paused a second before responding. She had met with wolves that had recent pups before, and knew it best to keep a little wary, even though it was slightly out of character for her. However, when the female began to speak, she couldn't help but feel smug at the way she spoke to Harbinger.
"Nice to meet you too." [/b] She wasn't intending to be disrespectful, but she couldn't help but say it in response to the female. She felt the need to defend herself, though she was trying to retain respect while doing so, only because she really needed to find a place to stay away from the asshole, Lucid. "In my defense, I had no intentions of harassing your pack members. I merely had come to these lands to request refuge until that asshole Lucid was taken care of."[/b] Her attention rested fully on Cindershock now, which was one of her ways of showing respect. She gave a bow at Cindershock for her acceptance and her next words. "Thank you. I assume you are Cindershock?"[/b] She scented the air that was around the female... and realized it oozed dominance and the scent of pups... and was also one of the strongest scents found within a pack, symbolizing she was the Alphess of these lands. Harbinger had mentioned the Alphas earlier, and since the one that had come to them was female, she only assumed it was Cindershock. "Yes, I was looking for Cindershock, Ayame. Thank you for your kindness while we waited for her. If I came off ignoring you, that was not my intention... I merely needed to find a place for refuge as soon as possible, with Lucid and all."[/b] She felt no disrespect coming from the female and with Cindershocks words on how she was new, she understood now why she hadn't scented the brute in the first place. She felt it prudent to say something to show she hadn't been ignoring her, before she turned her attention back to the Alphess. "I'm glad to see that the rumors within the plains are true then about these lands. I guess it just takes one bad seed to ruin impressions such as those."[/b] Since the Alphess showed up, she decided to completely ignore Harbinger, only because this alphess deserved her respect and the asshole brute didn't. She stood and began to follow Cindershock, matching and memorizing her scent and keeping with her pace with ease, despite her slightly smaller size. "For future reference, Cindershock... my philosophy is you have to give respect to get it, so please don't take my anger toward Harbinger personally. He had no right to say what he said. And I assume you knew what he said, considering you seemed to know exactly what my name was and how things were going the entire time... at least most of it?"[/b] Kila was trying to find out how this female worked and what kind of personality she had so she could learn about the pack more. She had no intentions of joining the pack, only to seek refuge until Lucid was dealt with.[/blockquote]

Harbinger knew that Cindershock pretty much hated him, it was the same case with Masina. He could not believe how much hate plagued the pack, just as much hate as he once had in his heart toward wolves he did not approve of. It was honestly extremely hypocritical not to mention pathetic.
"Thank you for coming here Cindershock. I know you don't like me, and I know you are accepting of pretty much every outsider including myself. But I want to remind you that I am a member of your pack now, and I would appreciate your defense. I just wanted to explain that my past has nothing to do with how I am right now; if wolves are based off from their pasts I'm sure I wouldn't be the only one being discriminated here. I have done nothing to harm anybody here." the brute explained.
Harbinger glanced at Kila and smiled at her. Despite all that happened he was a forgiving wolf, he believed in looking past a wolf's inherent failings. Perhaps this was Harbinger's first step on attaining the trust of the Alphas. Yes he did not approve of certain lifestyles, but he did not take any violent or provocative action toward anybody.
"I am sorry if I hurt you, Kila. And I forgive you for any hurt you've inflicted upon me. Welcome to the Waterfall pack." Harbinger whispered kindly while wearing a half-smile on his face. Part of him really wanted to leave the pack; it wasn't as though he was welcomed.

Ayame listened to every word even nodding when it was nessicily. She was being to like this new commer and hoped she would take refuge and even stay here forever. Ayame wanted to friend the wolfress and learn how she knows the world around her, even though she cant see, but then again... Maybe being blind isnt a tuff. She smiled and was about to leave for the second time in a space of an hour when a familar scent came into view. It was Cinder, who'd recently given birth. Ayame wanted to ask how the pups are doing and how's Zeph dealing with the bundle.
Ayame bowed to the alphrass and noticed how gracefully she walked with her head held high. Ayame lifted her head and noticed how she acknowgledged Kila and Harbinger. he was indeed an asshole, but he was part of the pack and every pack had an asshole. Ayame gigglered to herself and listened to what Cinder had said about her and Snippet contuning their walk. " Good morning alphrass, ill be glad to contunie my walk with Snippet... Could Kila join us when she's fully rested one day?" Ayame felt abit childish when she asked Cinder a question but it was nice to get permission.
The white fae turned her attention to Kila and asked the same question. " Would you one day like to join me and Snippet on a walk one day? Of course when your rested?" She felt butterflies just escape from her tummy and fly into the open. " I think you've found the wolf your looking for... Now i must be on my way! Me and Snippet have a quest to get back to!" She bowed her to the alphrass and the to Kila and walked back to where the faint scent of Snippet was last seen.
Ayame did a little call and a howl to let Snippet know it was safe to come out. There under a little tree was a reddish/brown fluff ball. " Snip! Its ok, you dont have to be scared no more!...... Please come out, I'm so sorry i scared you! But Cinder's here sorting out Kila and Harbinger, there might even be a new member too!" She waited until the little pup felt she was safe and come out of her little hidy hole.

Snip was not a happy puppy. She lay curled as tight as she could go, her little body all but invisible in the shadows at the base of the tree and her muzzle buried in the leaves. Her ears ay flat against her skull in an effort to block out the voices of the crazy adults nearby. She’d heard enough, more than enough, and was convinced that all three of them were dangerous. Harbinger scared her just by being, the crazy green wolf made the earth shake under her feet, and Ayame had no sense of self-preservation. Snip had died in earthquakes before. And Ayame wanted her to go towards the unstable earthquake-causing wolf? No, thank you. Snip felt safer hiding in a trembling ball of fluff and praying to whatever gods might be listening to make her invisible.
As a result of her purposefully not listening to the scene behind her, Snip missed a lot of what went on. She knew Kila and Harbinger were arguing but didn’t hear what was said. Her eyes were closed tightly and she tried to pretend she was somewhere else- back in the den behind the falls, perhaps, with Papa Tide and away from the crazies. Or anywhere else. She whimpered. Were all wolves so unpredictable?
Snip did relax a little when she heard a new voice- Cindershock. She still was not listening to words, but the Alphess’ voice was unmistakable. It made her feel better to know that Cindershock was here. The Alphess was a steady wolf, with a kind personality and a natural talent for leadership. If anyone could calm the situation, it would be the level-headed red wolf. She refused to move from her curled position, but her body stopped shaking and lost some of its tenseness. Everything felt safer with Cindershock around, especially since Snip knew her personally and trusted her as she trusted few other wolves. With Cindershock here, it was going to be okay.
A few minutes later, Ayame’s howl told Snip the situation was under control and she could come out. She didn’t want to, though- she still wanted to stay as far away from Harbinger and the crazy green Kilawolf as possible. So she didn’t move until Ayame came over to her and spoke softly. Then she uncurled slowly and stood up with a cautious expression, waiting to see if the ground was going to roll under her. When it didn’t, she nudged her way under Ayame’s wing again and nestled against the older wolf’s side. She looked up at Ayame’s face pleadingly. “Can we go now?” she asked. “These wolves are crazy.” She frowned at the thought of Kila joining the pack and looked at Ayame with the wide eyes of a frightened puppy. “But she makes earthquakes, Ayame. What if she hurts Cindershock ma’am, or Papa Tide?”

Ayame knew something was up when Snippet didnt come out when she ask her too, but she really couldnt tell her off. One, it wasnt in her nature and two, she wasnt a career or even a step parent to have that authority. Ayame knew for sure that Snippet would come out in her own time. She was just waiting for the right moment for the little pup to come out, and surely enough she did. Ayame felt the little pup nuzzle her from under her wing. She lifted her wing and nuzzled the little pup. " Im so sorry i scared you little'un, all i ask is for your forgivness."
Ayame sighed and kept thinking about Tide and herself having pups, she felt a mother instinct to Snippet, and she wasnt there in her wake and even when she was scared the most, Ayame didnt even protect her! She felt a wash of guilt and hoped if she had little ones of her own, she would be a great mother! She'll have Tide to help her and Snippet. With this trail of thought, Snip asked if they could go now. " Of course, did you want to contunie our walk or go back to Tide?" She made it Snip's answer because she's had a tremous day. she waited for the little pup to answer, it would be nice to carry on their walk but it might abit to much of Snip.
((OOC: Blegh!! No muse >_< tried my best tho!))
