It always had to happen to him---the utter disappointment and the betrayal. Despite how dashingly handsome and incredulously charming Harbinger was, the ladies seemed to find other interests. The latest fae in his life left as quickly as she had entered; no goodbye, not even a dashing glance before her departure. Harbinger usually did not let such things bother him, but that time around his blood seemed to boil at the thought. The brute knew that the best thing to do was to let it go and open his eyes toward other horizons. The Fukai Pack was so rich and lush when it came to attractive females---he seemed to enjoy their ethereal allure more during the winter months since he grew up in the mountains, where the environment is often cold.
Harbinger assumed that the betess, Masina, was happy that he and his potential lover split apart. It didn't take a wolf with telepathy to sense that she looked down on him in regard to his rather shady past. It had been months since he had even seen Masina, which he preferred. It however hadn't been months since Harbinger stumbled across the wretched Obsidian and Zircon. It took every ounce of will power in order to prevent himself from making the kill. The gay wolves were just as overbearing in the winter months. Harbinger had to keep reminding himself of his true mission that made everything else pale in comparison.
With resolved patience, Harbinger wrapped his tail around his legs and placed his rump on the cold snowy ground, waiting for a female to cross his path.

How lonely does the night sound without the howl of the wolf? It was just before dawn when a silver fae rose from her nest. She looked to her sleeping room mate and the pup next to him. Oh how they slept so peacefully, she didnt even wonder why she was up so early and they wasnt? But she didnt even let it get her down. She walked slowly out of the den to stretch her newly formed wings. Their span was about the length of a hawk's wings, still with the down feathers, the wings were cream and brown specks like her fur. She stretched them out like a flegdling ready to leave the nest for the first time, her legs felt all weak and jelly like where she'd been laying down for so long. The good thing about having wings, she could keep Tide and Snip warm when they needed comforting, but the best thing was, Tide didnt hate her for having these! He abousolty loved them!. She sighed and ruffled her fur, today seemed a good day to bond with Snip. Snip was Tide's step daughter and still a pup, but so wise in her tiny body. Ayame was surprised on what Snip knew about healing her and the wisdom she had. Ayame thinks thats why they are so close, from being nearly dead to now... From that tiny body kicks one of a kick to heal a grown wolf of Ayame's type. Anyho, Ayame thought, she'd thought she should go and wake Snip to see if she wanted to take a walk and see most of the dawn before all the other wolves were awake and maybe hunting. Ayame had already eaten, but she been sick an hour after eating, so her hunger was clawing at her stomach. Ayame looked to the sky, it was pink but the birds had finally woken up and fluttering their wings. She smiled and started to take a trek back to the den. As she got there, Tide was till sleeping and so was Snip. Ayame walked over to her one day mate and licked his cheek. " Morning honey..." But all she got was nothing. " Typical man! Only get a grunt when they are dreaming!" She tutted and went to try Snip. She nuzzled her red fur and took in the formiliar scent of this young pup, " Snip, wake up... Wondered if you want to take a walk with me?" Same response, Ayame rolled her eyes and kept trying until the little wolfling woke up.

Snippet bounded along beside Ayame, her tail wagging happily in a way it rarely did around wolves other than Papa Tide. Her charcoal fur absorbed what little heat was given off by the high, bright winter sun, and so she was warm even on this chilly day. Now and again she would glance up at the white wolf by her side, smiling in her half-shy way at the fae who she knew night soon become her foster mother , if things continued to progress as they had been between her and Riptide. She wasn’t against it in the least; though she wasn’t anywhere near as attached to Ayame as she was to Tide, she did like her and, more importantly, she knew Ayame made Riptide happy. As far as Snippet was concerned, if Papa Tide was happy, then Snippet was as well. She was more than willing to accept Ayame into her family if it meant that Tide stayed as happy as he was.
So when Ayame approached Snip earlier that day and asked if she wanted to accompany her on an outing, Snipet had said yes at once rather than politely declining as she might with any other wolf. She wanted to get to know Ayame better and so had left with her willingly enough, only pausing to tell Tide where she was going. It wouldn’t do for the pup to go out without her foster father’s knowledge. It had taken awhile to waken him enough from his deep sleep (he always slept deeply) that Snip could be certain he would remember her telling him, but in the end it worked. Now Snippet and Ayame were walking together- well, Ayame was walking; Snippet kept running ahead a few feet and then turning and bouncing back- and talking quietly about nothing in particular. When one of her bouncing spurts of energy sent her around a rock outcropping that had previously blocked her view of the terrain ahead, she stopped abruptly and stared.
Sitting in the dirt as though he belonged there was a huge black wolf. A red stripe ran down his whole body, ending in a sort of jaggedy pattern on his tail. Even sitting, he towered over the unusually small Snippet, but that wasn’t what sent Snip’s tail to tuck up tight under her belly and her ears back against her skull. It was his expression. He looked so…angry. Intimidating. The tiny year-old Snip found herself very nervous at the sight of him. Without meeting his gaze, she looked down and away and ran back to nuzzle into Ayame’s side, her little body trembling slightly with nerves. She nosed herself under Ayame’s wing and looked at the ground.
”Ayame, there’s a big wolf up there. He’s scary…” The yearling pup looked up now at the older wolf, seeking reassurance and comfort.

Ayame watched the bounding ball of fluff run in front of her and back again. " Dont run of to far Snip!" She called, it seemed to Ayame that it was best as she could do for now. Getting practice at looking after Tide's step daughter as she did so, she watched Snip dart back with bounds of energy when the wind picked up, it ruffled Ayame's fur. " Brrr! Its tad chilly" She thought to herself. But still walking with Snippet was joyful. Her memory of pups bounding around her old world made her smile. She walked close to Snip's paw prints she left in the muddy surface from the winter before.
Ayame watched the pups bound and giggle with their mothers, when she remembered that poor Snip didnt have a mother. Tide was more like a mother/father to this boundle of energy. " Bless him!" When she watched Snip bound back and then run off again, it seemed she had stopped in her own tracks. Ayame being a protective career for Snip quickly ran to her side. The thing she had seen was a black wolf, who had a regonisable red stripe down the length of his back.
Ayame stared to when she felt a little body against her side. "Ayame, there’s a big wolf up there. He’s scary…” She looked to the tremblering wolfress and felt she'd nosed under her wing. Ayame pulled her wing over the helpless pup and ushed her that it was going to be ok. " SSShh! Its ok going to be ok, littleun... maybe he just passing" She paused and looked to the ground. " You can hide under there until it's safe... whatever this wolf wants ill deal with it and keep you safe!" If this wolf was just passing, he shall go somewhere else. Ayame felt something pull on her heart strings, this tremblering pup felt like a baby to her, and she was going to protect her no matter what! Like a lion protects her cubs from an unwelcome male, she was going to fight for her and keep her safe!.

Harbinger rose to his feet as he noticed the pup and the larger white wolf. It had been the first time he had seen another wolf native to the Fukai waterfalls for quite awhile. Despite his hesitance he could not help but to immediately give into his curiosity. Slowly he plodded his way toward the two and tried to wear a generous smile on his face. If there was anything Harbinger didn't want, it was to come off being rude or an honest whore---he was not a whore whatsoever. He just wanted to find a mate that would breed him perfect pups.
Sometimes he wondered why it was so difficult finding a counterpart? Harbinger knew he was one of the finest looking wolves in Aelyn---not to mention one of the strongest and most courageous, plus determined. His unceasing charm had caused females in the past to literally keel over from relentless infatuation. While he knew the smaller pup was of no interest to him, Harbinger carefully eyed the short white wolf---she appeared to be of age, and he found her to be beautiful.
Almost timidly he lowered his head and doled respect to the fae. “I’m Harbinger, who might you be, young lass?”
Harbinger made sure he tried his hardest to be polite. Despite his rather dark past he did not let that get in the way of his manner when it came to addressing females. He was the very definition of respect.

((OOC: Im going to post, because it looks like Harbinger is addressing Aya))
Ayame watched the male, and how he turned and started to pad over to her and Snip. He seemed to be looking at her funny and he was quite scarey how he was plastering a smile on his face, trying to come over all innocent. The male was about average size, like Tide and Ayame must be honest, he was a handsome wolf, but then again she was hopefully courting with Tide. As she was thinking, the male was in front of her bowing to show he respected females. She gulped and stepped away little. "I’m Harbinger, who might you be, young lass?”" She moved her front paw and her ears flat to her skull, with abit of a scared face. She looked to the ground and to the male, " Im Ayame, are you passing through?" She didnt want to bring the male to a level that he might want her.
Ayame looked to the male that whose name was called Harbinger, " What a funny name! but it'll do" She looked under her wing and noticed that she still had Snip under there. " Are you ok Snip? I think the male is only just passing" She looked to the male again and to the ground. The thoughts of Tide flooded through her mind, she didnt want to ruin what she might have with Tide! She did really love him, and she'd never felt anything else for any other wolf she met on her travels.

Silent pawsteps felt the earth that shifted gently beneath her feet. Granted, there was snow littering her element, but that didn't matter much. She could still see and manipulate it to her liking. She pushed onward, seeing the world in a new light, drawn to the aspect of the Waterfalls because of their visual appeal, though her visions differed greatly from those who would see it in the "normal" light. She moved onward, the distant sound of voices and the falling rush of the freezing waterfalls drifting to her ever so sensitive ears.
She paused a moment, her steps halting in place. She turned her head toward the sound of the voices, listening to the conversation at hand. It seemed as if there were three wolves present, Kila could smell them... and each had the taint of the wolves that lived on these lands. She wrinkled her nose in disgust, hating the aspect of becoming part of a pack, but finding she had to because of recent events. Kila would have absolutely loved to give that tyrant Lucid a piece of her mind, but thought it best to see refuge for the time being and make herself acquainted with the other wolves around her.
She had heard whispers of how kind the wolves of the waterfalls were. Loners discussed them a lot, and discussed how rumor had it they were allowing loners to live on their lands and with their pack until the threat was eradicated, but she never followed rumors and came to find out for herself. She listened quietly to the conversation at hand. Apparently the two wolves, female, with the brute were under the impression he was a lone, much like Kila herself. Rolling her eyes, though none would see this motion due to the cloth that covered her eyes from view, she padded forward.
She paused for a moment, her overly large paws hardly making a sound as she gathered exactly where the wolves were and their positions, "seeing" them in a way that most would never understand. The blind wolf flicked her elongated tail and moved forward, her nose, which was also longer than your average wolf's, held in a relaxed manner as she sat next to the three wolves. Yes, she even saw the smaller wolf that hid under the female's wings.
This wolf that approached was interesting to look at, to say the least. Her head had a piece of cloth wrapped around it, hiding her blindness from view. Her paws were larger than what was proportional to her body, as were her ears, tail and nose. She was a thin wolf, holding a build of one that would be swift and agile, though also potentially malnourished. This is far from the case, as she can eat like no other, she just doesn't gain weight. Her fur color was a deep forest green color. Up to the joints of her legs was an ash brown color. It was an abrupt stop with no transition, no fading section whatsoever. The green fur, did however, overlap the brown fur ever so slightly. Around her neck was the same ash-brown color, as if in a necklace style, though it was only her fur. Her ears were tipped with ash-brown and her tail looked as if it had brown tips to it... much like you would see on a punk-ish sort of look. Her fur had a spikier look to it and it was especially spiky around her neck and shoulders. She had tufts of brown-tipped hair that hangs down onto her nose from underneath the cloth on her head.
Kila flicked her tail and turned her head to face the two females. "This wolf, Harbinger was it? Isn't just passing through, you ninny. He's a part of your pack. Honestly, is this pack so dysfunctional that wolves don't recognize the stench of the other pack members on each other and the unique scent that your pack in particular carries? Seriously!" [/b] She sat calmly, wrapping her large tail around her paws. She looked between the two wolves, though it was kind of difficult to see exactly where she was looking due to her deformity. She could see the wolves around her just fine, however. Kila simply sat and watched the interaction between the wolves that shared the same pack.[/blockquote]

Snip cuddled close to Ayame’s side as the white wolf folded her wing over the trembling body of the yearling. She tried to make herself as small as possible and pulled herself further under the enveloping feathers. As a general rule, the pup was slow to trust adult wolves and was very uneasy around them. Her reaction to this one, though, was admittedly unique in its intensity. There was something about this wolf in particular that frightened her. It might have been his size, or his coloring, or the fact that his face looked very stern and forbidding, but it might also have been none of these things. He seemed to give off a feeling of danger, a palpable and unpredictable ability for swift and merciless movement. Snippet sensed it and it scared her, though it was certainly not directed towards her. She kept her head down and leaned into Ayame’s snowy pelt.
The brute, it seemed, was not interested in her at all. He walked closer to them, causing Snip’s tail to curl up even tighter to her belly in response, but he was not looking at her. He was looking at Ayame, with an ingratiating (and, Snippet thought, false) smile on his muzzle and a look in his eye that made Snip uncomfortable. It looked like he wanted her but was trying to be subtle about it. Snip didn’t like that. Ayame belonged to Papa Tide! This wolf couldn’t take her away- could he? That would make Papa so sad…Snip shivered at the thought. She didn’t want her Papa to be sad, ever.
Ayame spoke to the male as politely as he did to her (what an odd name, Harbinger, though Snip), but there was obviously a bit of trepidation there. Snip though Ayame must be thinking of Tide, and that made her feel better. She looked up into the white wolf’s face when the older fae spoke to her, and she answered quickly.
”I’m okay, he just scared me.” Her ears started to prick back up under Ayame’s loving gaze. ”But he belongs to Fukai, doesn’t he? Otherwise someone else would have found him by now and Zephyr sir would have come.” She always referred to the Alpha pair as ‘Zephyr sir’ and ‘Cinder ma’am’, a respectful habit she’d carried almost since birth.
A sound drew her attention away from Ayame, and an odd-looking wolf emerged from the shadows under the trees. She was green, which Snippet had never seen before in a wolf, and had irregular brown patches on her paws and around her neck. A cloth hid her eyes from view, but she seemed to know just where each of the three wolves were. Intrigued, Snip stepped forward ever so slightly to get a better look. When the stranger spoke, though, confirming what Snippet had said, Snip drew back again to the safety of Ayame’s wing. The new fae was mean! Snip wasn’t sure what to make of this new, caustic wolf, but certainly didn’t like being called stupid or dysfunctional. In a rare display of courage, Snip stepped forward to sit in front of the green wolf fae. She watched her with quiet curiosity, far enough away not to be rude but close enough to speak in her usual quiet voice and still be heard clearly. She looked at the green wolf gravely, not scared for some reason she didn’t understand. Though she didn’t know it, one of her past selves was hovering just beyond the reach of her conscious mind, guiding her words and masking her fear. When she spoke, her voice was quiet but grave, politely serious instead of shy. They were the words of an adult from the mouth of a pup, strangely out-of-place coming from the tiny Snippet.
”One looking for sanctuary should seek not to estrange those offering her shelter. We are new to the pack, unfamiliar with its subtle scents rather than members of a dysfunctional pack. You are welcome into our lands, but please do try not to make enemies before you’ve even met the Alphas.” Snip looked more than a little bewildered as she spoke, not knowing from where the words came, but she realized they were a part of her on some level and so went with it, only glancing back at Ayame once for reassurance.

Harbinger gasped as a growling laugh escaped his maw at the appearance of this newer wolf and her blatant insult toward the fellow pack members. If there was anything he liked in a woman it was a sharp tongue and power. Unfortunately though when he realized her malnourished looking body and the cloth around her head he began to have second thoughts about the potential. Kila did not seem to be facing any of them, she just somehow knew all of those wolves were present---leading him to acknowledge her disability.
Despite that issue, Kila did seem fairly attractive to him; it was quite unfortunate. Like homosexual wolves, physically disabled wolves were also on Harbinger’s death list. He did not feel the strong hate for such difficulties though since the brute felt that they were born with the ailment without choice---homosexuality was a choice in his opinion. Harbinger felt an underlying sympathy for Kila’s burden.
“She is right, you know? I am a part of this pack and I have been for several months now. I’m somewhat surprised you don’t know already since I’m fully aware of how Masina disapproves of my presence.” Harbinger explained while sighing and turning his attention from Ayame and the pup back to Kila.
“Oh wait Ayame, don’t leave please. I haven’t gotten to know you enough yet!” Harbinger shouted before shifting his attention back to Kila---he was fascinated by her as well.
“So how long have you been blind? I can’t imagine how crappy it must be.”

Kila turned her attention to the small wolf and gave a wry smirk. "I never said I was going to make enemies, thank you. I merely was stating that members of your pack obviously aren't that close or very pack-like because you don't recognize the scents that are stinking up your pelts. Obviously, you need to consult your alphas and your other pack members more often in order to know who is in your pack properly. With the new threats on the horizon, you realize that if you do not know your own pack, how will you know if they're friend or foe? Dysfunctional and dangerous, if you ask me. No, I am merely making a point that was apparently ignored." [/b] She shrugged her shoulders, before turning her gaze back toward the brute, Harbinger. Kila watched as the brute spoke to the other female. She flicked her tail behind her and looked at Harbinger. She could feel her anger rising as he spoke of her disability. Big mistake. "You just made a big mistake."[/b] Before anyone could blink an eye, she lifted her paw ever so slightly, before putting it on the earth beneath her with a little bit of force. The ground around Harbinger instantly rose up and created a small little cage, trapping the brute in a box that was obviously way too small for him. He wouldn't be able to move or anything at this point, as it caused him to be lowered entirely to the ground, and only a small space was left open for him to put his nose out and speak. "Does it really matter how long I've been blind, you ass? Just because I may be blind, doesn't make me any less capable than anyone else. I could dance circles around you. Now, do we want to try this again? Or are you going to continue to show how much of a pompous jerk you can be in front of this female that you so obviously have an interest in?"[/b] Kila was blunt and honest... it was her nature. She flicked her tail and held the barrier around him, though it was no effort because once the earth was moved, she didn't need to do anything to hold it in place. All she needed to do was tell the Earth to leave him alone nor to move off of him and he would be free... but that would have to do with whatever the arrogant brute did next.[/blockquote] ((Talked to Celestic in the first place about doing this to his wolf, so no worries on Powerplaying.))

Ayame looked to the new commer, of course she smelt like the pack. At this moment in time, she felt like hitting her head against a tree, the scent on male's was sure enough the pack and the same as the clothed wolf. Ayame bowed her head and answered the red wolf's comment, " Im really sorry, i havent really seen all the wolves in the pack as of yet. They seemed to dotted about. Didnt mean to bring disrespect to the pack" The red wolf who Ayame didnt know seemed a little snappy, but she did notice she was blind and the cloth symbolised her disability. She looked to Snip who was stil under her wing, Ayame lifted her wing and nuzzled Snip comfortably to say everything was ok.
Ayame looked to Snip and nodded to say they were leaving. She should really meet all the wolves in the pack, regonise their scent, names, faces, wings or nor wings and even who's the alpha. Ayame started to turn around when she looked to Snip. " I better get you back to Tide, he'll be wondering where you are" Her paws were just about moving when she heard the male known as Harbinger shouted to her, hoping she wouldnt leave because he doesnt know alot about her. " My name is Ayame, and im not looking for a relationship!" she turned her back and flicked her tail.
A few miles down the road, her hearing picked up the conversation between the red wolfress and Harbinger. He had asked how long she'd been blind. " Big mistake!" The red wolfress seemed she wasnt a wolf to be messed around with, espically with her disability. " Poor wolf! Snip do you know her name?" Ayame seemed she wanted to get to know her. But she saw that the red wolfress had Harbinger pinned to the ground in some sort of barrier. " Snip, we better go back!" Ayame jogged down to the red wolfress and Harbinger, she heard that he was interested in her... But because of the other wolf was blind, he didnt seem to like her. A growl entered her throat and she wished she could help.
Ayame wasn't a fighter, but being chosen over a wolf who had a disability, was so wrong! Just because she was different doesnt mean you shouldn't love her. Ayame's mouth snarled into fighter's mouth, it made her so angry! " Do you need some help?" She asked the red wolfress? It seemed that she had him pinned down alright on her own! Ayame's wings flapped up and down making herself look bigger then she originally was. Ayame waited to see if the red wolfress needed help but she did worry if Snip would hate her, for being so aggressive.

Snip watched impassively as the green wolf responded rather rudely to something she- or rather the past her that was currently possessing her body- had meant as a polite if not completely friendly tip. Under her calm exterior, the vestige of the puppy Snip was fighting to regain control and was incensed at the wolf’s casually cutting remarks. She was forced to agree, if she was honest, that not knowing every member of the pack by scent was undeniably dangerous, but she also thought that an outsider like this wolf had no right to pass judgments on the Pack she was intruding upon, especially when she didn’t know all of the details. Snip didn’t know most of the Fukai members by sight or scent because she had only recently recovered enough from the emotional and physical injuries early life had inflicted upon her to leave Tide’s care. As such, she had little contact with wolves other than Riptide up until very recently. And Ayame had only become a member of Fukai a few weeks previously and could hardly be expected to know every member of the pack, especially a standoffish loner like Harbinger. Nevertheless, the older past Snip knew it would be stupid to argue with the obviously stubborn, contentious fae, and instead only nodded her head graciously, said ”You have valid points. I hope I did not offend you and will do my best to correct my mistakes in future.” and retreated to Ayame’s side before allowing the current Snippet to regain conscious control.
Snip was disoriented for a moment but soon recovered enough to burrow her way under Ayame’s wing. In the presence of such dominant wolves, who possessed such strong personalities, she was cowed and felt very small and afraid. She clung to Ayame as a source of comfort and protection. Also, the attention Harbinger gave to Ayame made her uncomfortable and very insecure, as she perceived that her small family, so recently established but already much loved, might be torn apart if Ayame returned his interest. She turned her nose into Ayame’s side and nuzzled closer to the white wolf. When Ayame nuzzled her in return, a tiny smile appeared on the nervous pup’s muzzle and she was reassured a little. She nodded in return to Ayame’s suggestion that they head back to the Waterfalls and to Tide (she really wanted her Papa right now anyway) and set off, sticking as close to Ayame as she could without tripping her.
They hadn’t gone too far when Harbinger asked the green stranger how long she’d been blind. Snip’s eyes widened incredulously. Though she was young and admittedly not very skilled in social situations, that particular remark struck her as rather stupid. After all, she wouldn’t like to be asked about her stunted size or overlarge paws- and they weren’t even really a disability. She suspected the hotheaded newcomer would not take kindly to Harbinger’s blunt and impertinent question.
She was proved right as the fae growled a response too soft for Snip to make out. There was a huge grinding, shifting noise and the earth trembled beneath Snip’s feet. Terrified by the noise and the strange feel, she cowered against Ayame. She didn’t want to go back- whatever had happened was big and scary and she wanted to get as far away as was caninely possibly. She wanted to be back in her nest in the den with Papa Tide to comfort her, away from these insane wolves and their terrible unpredictability. This was why she was scared of other wolves!! Snip was beginning to think that everyone around here was stark raving nuts or dangerous in some other way, excepting her Papa, Ayame, and the Alphess Cindershock.
Snippet rather abruptly removed Ayame from that list when she told Snip they needed to go back. She looked up at her in utter disbelief, her golden eyes filled with confusion and doubt. Why on Aelyn would she want to go towards the crazy green wolf while she was attacking the arrogant brute? Ayame and Snip were both small in stature; there was little or nothing either of them could do to help the situation. The crazy wolf could do something that made the very ground shake; Snip didn’t know what it was, and she really didn’t want to find out. But Ayame turned around anyway. With a quiet whimper, Snip followed her.
As they approached the scene of the battle- well, ‘battle’ wasn’t really the word for it, as the crazy green wolf didn’t seem to be meeting with any opposition from the black brute- Snip fell back and sat down a good distance away in the shadows, curling up at the base of a large tree and trying not to whimper too loudly. Her dark coat blended in with the shadows very well and rendered her almost invisible when she shut her golden eyes- which she did almost at once. She didn’t want to see the three older wolves anymore. The big black one was stuck in a cage of earth that the crazy green wolf made around him and Ayame was now offering help to the attacking nutso wolf?? Snip whimpered again and buried her muzzle in the leaves around the base of her tree, trying to be small and invisible. She didn't want to be here. She hated[//i] fighting. She wanted to be home, she wanted her nest, and most of all she wanted her loving, warm Papa Tide.

Harbinger felt his heart thump wildly as the earth-cage enveloped him, squashing him onto the ground, nearly knocking the wind out of him. He hadn’t a clue that what he said was offensive to Kila, but like always he learned the valuable lesson. It was true that he did not know her history---obviously her blindness was rooted in some sort of painful past in order to warrant such a violent response. It didn’t matter though, he was officially a member of the Fukai pack and to be injured by a foreigner seemed quite irrational.
“I’m sorry if I offended you.” the brute gasped as his mussel protruded from a hole. Harbinger strained his muscles while trying to break free from his captivity; however, the rock was too hard for him to break, “If you knew any thing of my history Kila, you’d know why I display sympathy. So I’d appreciate if you’d release me.”
Harbinger felt slightly embarrassed after being apprehended so easily in front of Ayame and the pup, granted it really didn’t bother him extensively---the brute had endured more humiliating and embarrassing occasions. His interest was still focused on the white wolf though. Apparently she already had some sort of mate? Part of him wanted to show her that he was the ‘real deal’ and not some fob off of a wolf. If there was anything Harbinger learned through his experience with femmes, it was that patience always paid off---as well as persistence. He would not give up.

Kila turned to the female as she reapproached and asked if she needed help. "I think I've got it covered, thank you!" [/b] She shrugged and turned her attention back to the brute. She wore a smug expression on her face as she watched and heard him struggle against her cage. Kila flicked her tail and listened to the brute as he spoke. She was quite smug with herself as he spoke of his apologies, though she almost felt he wasn't entirely sincere, but that could have just been her mind and personality being the usual way it was. "Next time, think before you speak, asshole. Perhaps you should learn of anothers history yourself before you go around insulting them? Obviously, if I don't know yours, then you must not know everyone else's. Perhaps now you've learned a valuable lesson that you will no doubt forget once you are let out of your cage."[/b] She shrugged and removed the barrier from around him, sending an angry look before turning her attention back to the female. "So who do I talk to in order to see refuge from the overbearing jerk who claimed the loner lands?"[/b] She looked between the two wolves, unsure if the pup, who seemed to have disappeared for a bit, knew anything much of the pack. She did seem to have a lot of knowledge for her age, but Kila paid it no heed... she waited patiently for a wolf to speak up to allow her to know where she can go to get rest and call her temporary home until Lucid is dealt with.[/blockquote]

Harbinger shook the ruffles out of his fur from being crouched to the ground for a long period of time. While he was grateful for being released, his blood boiled deep within at this smug wolf's attitude. Of all the insolence, how dare she imply him as a fool---or as some pathetic idiot of a wolf. Harbinger would not tolerate insults to his name, not from a perfect wolf, not from a gay wolf, and definitely not from a blind wolf.
"You know Kila, I find it really amusing that you let a small supposition harm your dignity so passionately. Apparently I hit a soft spot for ya." Harbinger stated as he paced toward the cloth-covered wolf, he didn't fear her power, nor would he fear her scorn, "What right do you have to tread upon this lands and personally ATTACK a member of this pack? Be lucky I have not went to Cindershock and Zephyr about this retribution-crazed assault. We'd see how easily you found refuge here with half the pack scorning your very name. You can't come to these lands and immediately expect respect from wolves who don't even know you---such selfish audacity!" Harbinger shouted while flexing the muscles of his body, allowing his bulk to appear a lot more menacing than before.
"You wanted to see the pack leaders, did you not? Well I assure you, you'll be hearing from them. Believe it or not, with a wolf of your attitude, maybe you're one of Lucid's infiltrators claiming that you want refuge." Harbinger turned and slowly paced away, knowing that Kila would no doubt reply.

Kila watched as the brutes form approached her. She saw and felt the vibrations of his pawsteps, but still held her ground and held her head in a high position.
She could feel her anger boiling within her and she glared in his direction... or would have, should he had been able to see her eyes. She flicked her tail behind him and stared directly at him, not wavering in her stance or her posture. She was headstrong and not one to back down and would prove to this brute that she did not fear him in the least.
"What right do you have to insult a loner seeking refuge in trying times? I doubt you can really call yourself a pack... you don't even know how to tell who is friend and who is foe. Your pack members can't even tell who is in their own pack, so as far as I can tell, this pack is no more than a couple different groups of wolves, living on the same lands, just as if they were loners banning together wishing they were a pack." [/b] She paused for a moment, listening to his next words about the Alphas. She got a wry smirk on her face, before throwing her head back and howling a sound that shook the very ground around her. She called outward, willing one of the Alphas to come their way. "We shall see how things go with your alphas. I figured the pack wolves would be hospitable enough to take me to the Alphas so I could respectfully request refuge, but apparently you're just to arrogant and have your head shoved so far up your ass that you didn't think in the first place. Oh wait, you didn't, otherwise you would have spoken with more respect toward a loner instead of insulting me."[/b] She flicked her tail calmly and waited for an Alpha to show up. She had to stop herself from laughing out loud when he bulked himself up. She snickered ever so slightly, not wavering in her stance or posture a bit. This brute didn't scare her, and it was bluntly obvious. "You know, to an outsider, your bulking up to a wolf that has no visible means of sight makes you seem like an ass, just so you know... or an idiot... your choice. As for having my name scorned, we'll see. First impressions are everything, are they not? Perhaps you hold yourself in your "holier than thou" attitude because you, yourself have ridicule or hatred toward you within the pack? It would only make sense that you take out your own frustration and anger about things on other wolves, when you yourself face similar frustrations? When the Alpha gets here, we'll see."[/b] She flicked her tail calmly and held her stance. She thought a moment more about what the brute had said about respect, before she finally replied. "I would think that a pack, who has such high words in the plains amongst the loners, according to word of maw, would respect everyone that came into their lands, but I guess I might have been wrong. Just goes to show that you can't always believe what you hear. I guess the waterfall pack is just as stuck up as some of other packs out there, thinking they're better than loners. And here I thought respect had to be earned both ways."[/b] She shrugged as she flicked her tail behind her. The brutes next words made her growl menacingly and the ground around her began to shake once more, this time more violently. "Say that again, and I will bury you alive. I have nothing to do with that egotistical bastard that claimed the lands. If I did, I wouldn't have hesitated to kill you or the other wolves here, now would I? I would have come in here, trying to recruit you to his lands or something, but do I look like I'm doing that? I know for a fact I can't take him out alone, and I'd rather die than serve under him, so before you go accusing me of allying myself with him, you should really think twice, before you lose the chance to ever truly think again as you slowly suffocate beneath layers of rock and gravel, dirt and rot."[/b] All snarky tones left her and her voice held a menacing and threatening tone to it that showed she was in no way kidding. She growled again as she finished saying this, the ground around her still shaking and beginning to crack in some places. Her footing remained fine, for she was at home with the element Earth, but other wolves near her would probably be struggling for footing with the strength of the vibrations that she was the source of. She threw a rock wall in front of the brute to keep him from walking away. She had already thrown her head back and called forth to the Alphas, so he had no need to leave and no doubt twist things somehow because of his already obvious hatred toward her to make her seem as if she was the enemy in the Alphas eyes. They would come, she knew this, so there was no way this brute was going to go ahead of her and insult her. She would have the Alphas come to them so she could speak with them on even terms, without the interference of this brutes arrogance.[/blockquote] ((o0 Enjoy 0o))

Ayame watched the green fae let down her earthy cage that trapped Harbinger in because he'd made a bad mistake. Ayame nodded at the green fae as she said she was ok of dealing with the male who was so rude to her. " Better not get on the bad side of this fae.... If i see her again that is!" Ayame was about to leave to go and get Snip when the fae asked So who do I talk to in order to see refuge from the overbearing jerk who claimed the loner lands?" Ayame looked to her and then to the pack lands, before she was going to speak Harbinger spoke in front of her, about attacking a pack member. She shook her head and smiled to herself. " You've got to remember Harbinger, you did ask her about her disability. I don't think she really wanted to tell you!"
Ayame didn't say about her blindness to Harbinger, just in case the green wolf called Kila put her into a earthy cage. Ayame looked to Kila and saw her clearly. The fae was green with huge paws, a bushy tail and a dirty cloth around her eyes. " Bless her, probarly is hard being blind!" Ayame asked Kila. " Kila, if its ok to call you that... im Ayame, are you seeking out Zeph or Lucid? Because this Lucid is causing a lot of stirring in these lands!"
Ayame smiled at the fae, but wasn't sure if she was a loner or part of a pack near by, Tide had warned her about loner wolves patrolling the nearby packs and so forth. Ayame wanted to invite her to the pack's heart, but she didnt quite trust her at this particular time. She looked over her shoulder and noticed Harbinger had sulked off, and Snip was hiding. She shook her head and wondered if the pup was ok. She looked to the green fae. Ayame did have a feeling of guilt because she'd left the pup on her own. " Tide's going to hate me if i dont get Snippet back" she sighed to herself and had a guilt feeling.

Harbinger found himself laughing at the blind fae's words. He knew he was being ignorant and snide---part of him felt as though Kila was making a vain attempt at being more snide than he was, big mistake no doubt. Earthquakes, rock walls...this wolf surely knew how to throw a fit. Of all the pups he had produced in his life time, none of them compared to Kila's annoyance.
"Forgive me if I haven't explained this in simple enough terms for you, cub-cakes. You can't expect to find refuge in a pack land when you treat the pack members poorly. Insulting someone is one thing, physically assaulting them is another. I don't know how you think your little tantrum-quakes are going to get you anywhere, but I for one know that the alphas don't take kindly to violent and unstable outsiders like you. And I can't imagine how you think I'm an ass? Look at yourself, waltzing into this pack with your head held high...do you expect to be treated like royalty...I sure as hell think not." Harbinger let out a slight giggle as he sat down and stared at Kila, completely ignoring Snippet and Ayame. The brute found Kila's attitude and brashness a lot more attractive than before.
"If first impressions are everything, then I suppose you can understand why you really don't bode well in my book of 'delightful wolves'. And I love how you're trying to make wild assumptions about my disposition toward other wolves. I for one have not taken any violent action toward my pack members, nor have I taken out any anger on them. You; however, are not a pack member. I never expressed any malcontent until you went out of your way to show off your little powers. It's so amazing when you think about it Kila. If I have a 'holier than thou' attitude, then I suppose that makes us even more similar. Your smug attitude is large enough to block the sun like an eclipse.." Harbinger smugly replied as he carefully eyed the blind wolf in front of him. He could not believe the violence this newcomer had in her heart.
"Well at least I know where your loyalties lie, granted with that threatening demeanor, I'm not very impressed. Perhaps when addressing someone else you should take a more assertive approach, instead of aggressive, it helps trust me." Harbinger smirked. It was only a matter of time before an alpha would show up.

The red alphess sat atop the tree. It was much easier to sit here, and be out and about now that she had her pups, her two little darlings were back in the den safe behind the waterfall, probably sleeping while she had come out for a bit of fresh air. They would be safe with Zephyr.
She watched from the time Ayame and Snip left the den, to when they saw Harbringer who kept to himself since Eden went incognito, to when the odd fae came into her lands. She watched the drama unfold, and Harbringer disrespect the green femme. She sat atop her perch, were none of them would notice her, and watched them all. She had finally had enough of this when the forest female, Kila, called out to her.
She flew gracefully down from her tree, and onto the ground where she padded slowly to the foursome who had been so much fun to watch and think about in the past few minutes.
She heard Kila talk back to her packmember, and throw up a huge rock wall to stop him from leaving, and from escaping her wrath. "Enough!" She said, stating her opinion on the matter at hand. Her form oozed alpha, and though her voice was quiet, it just made your ears perk up and listen.
"First, Harbringer keeps to himself, he is often not in the den where these two are. They are new, and he is not around, it was a honest mistake. Second, Harbringer, quit being a asshole," she never had liked the brute, she didn't trust him, he had held true to his word so far, but she had no idea how he would hold up with another pair of gay wolves in the pack. "Third, Kila, stop harassing my pack please, I mean not to make you angry or upset, but this is my and my mates lands, and you have no right to come here and do this."
She stopped, and took a breath, "Now that, that's taken care of, Kila, as I defiantly can tell you are not from Lucid," she narrowed her eyes, "We would love for you to join our pack, we are welcoming and in these times where Lucid has taken over your lands, you may stay with us with no strings attached. If you wish to go back to your loner lands when the threat has passed you may do so, but until then we are more than willing to have you stay with us."
She glared at the gray brute and smiled at the female pair, and walked past all 4 of them, "Follow me and I will take you to the den, Snip and Ayame, feel free to continue on your walk, Harbringer...do what you want." 'Leave...' she thought. 'Stop that, that's mean, he is in your pack.'
She continued her walk towards the den, not looking over her shoulder at the blind wolf to see if she was following.
