”I always say
How I don’t need you”
How I don’t need you”
”But it’s always gonna
Come right back to this”

[/blockquote][/size]xxxxxEgypt let the shivers wrack his body, shaking him to the core as the cold wind brushed his side, whipping the cloth around his neck in the torent. He wasn't cold from the temperature around him, he had a thick enough pelt to keep him warm on nights where young pups died because they did not yet have a thick enough coat and their mother couldn't keep them warm- using her body heat to keep them warm. No, he was cold because he was alone.
His golden eyes looked blearily around the empty den that he and his mate would share. Crawling out of the hole, he wandered about the area aimlessly. He wanted Imha to come home safely. The stupid brute always left Egypt's side for twenty-four hours every new and full moon and looking up to the sky- not a single slice of illuminated rock was visible. He let out a small whimper of sorrow. Why couldn't Imha trust him? Egypt was not some small pup who couldn't hold his own in a fight against a wolf of Imha's stature. Egypt would stop him from harming anyone- the ancient varg would make sure to keep his mate safe from everyone and everyone safe from the brute that Egypt held so dear.
The pent up anger of betrayal, it coursed bodly through him as he thought of how little Imha trusted him with such a large part of his life- of their life. His breath turned into a growl and he reacted poorly. He lunged at a harmless tree, his claws digging into the bark and he pressed all of his weight downward. He slashed through the woddy material, only to lunge back up again and take another swipe. He continued to mutilate the tree angry with everything wrong in the world. Imha's lack of trust on the full and new moons. The pasts of others who lived around him and he just wanted it all done with! He wanted to find Alten, and then have Imha trust him and stay with him until they no longer walked among the living!
But that wasn't happening any time soon. He sighed, his feral golden eyes looking up at what was once a tree, but now was a useless dead thing in the forest. He felt almost envious of it. It didn't have to worry about the trials and tribulations of movements and the consequences it brought. But it couldn't feel love either. And that was what made it all worth it. Imha would return to him and he would do nothing but stay by Egypt's side until hunting or another full or new moon ripped them apart again.
