reserved for Cindershock
His eyes blinked, flinching with the freezing water droplets that shifted through the air around him. His mane shook, though it still drooped and lay flat with the frigid moisture. If the water lay still, it would surly freeze. But he had never witnessed the falls succumb to the cold, no matter how subzero it it plummeted. His right ear tikked, as it always did when bothersome thoughts teased his mind. With all the mist in the air, his scent would surely remain hidden...she would not find him, even though he was practically beneath her nose. She had to stay out of this, nothing but a nuisance, that foolish girl was. His eyes narrowed and increment of a hair's width - she would be the death of herself unless she grew some common sense. He was damned after all. Love meant absolutely nothing to him. His intentions would prove that he cared for absolutely nothing. Not himself...not even her.
His paws were freezing. The inside of the cave, as big and luxurious it was, was iced over from the mist settling and the winter's temperature. The last time he had set foot within the pack's cave, was to keep her warm. His ear tikked once more as he looked to the ceiling, as if searching for a distraction from his memories involving her. The beginnings of icicles dripped lightly onto the cave floor. He had left before he could see them form last winter. How big could they actually get? With an extensive size and weight, the sharp points of the ice could surly kill a wolf. A blood-red tongue snaked itself beyond his fangs to lick his chops. To be killed in the pack cave, the supposed safest spot in the entire lands. The place where pups were kept, the place where mothers came to birth. It could so easily be contorted into a death-trap if the alpha wasn't cautious. His cold stare turned to the cave mouth.
She approached, he could feel her. Everyone in the lands he could feel, or more so, his damned heart could feel them, sense them. But he could feel the alphess the strongest, for she was closest. And even though the foolish fae, Masina, wasn't close at all...he could feel her almost as strongly as the leader who approached. A low growl involuntarily found its way through his throat. He couldn't think of her, she was nothing but a damned distraction! He was hear with a proposition to the alphess. One he knew she would not refuse. A plume of hot breath shot from his black nose. He was prepared for a beating, to be quite frank. He lost count of the number of seasons he loped around this land that was hers, remaining out of reach, never coming to any gatherings, not even bothering to acknowledge her leadership. His tail flicked, he didn't care...because he couldn't. And he could easily just have wandered off to live somewhere else, and she would never know of his existence. But...Lucid had gone too far.

Thick, red fur covered the skeletal structure of the female. The alphess of the lands padded her way to the place where all mothers to be went to give birth to their darling heirs. She was not ready to do so, but she was going to meet the brute that had been skirting her lands for quite some time. He ran around, with no respect for her or Zephyr's authority and that irked her sensitive feelings. She would have flown, faster, or even ran, all of which would have gotten her to her destination quicker than this slow walking through the mud that had been created by the falling of water from the sky. Rain, rain, rain, that's all it had been for the past 2 weeks. It made her joints hurt, and it made her irritable, so as of right now, she was pretty pissed off. Her paws hurt, and she looked like a whale, not that she minded, she liked carrying her pups. She just wished they didn't have to come in a time like this.
Yes, a time like this. That evil big black brute, with his burning yellow eyes had taken over lands that were not his. The loners safe haven, not pressured to join a pack they did not wish to join, now were being forced to flee, or become on of Lucid's. This notion frightened her and made her not want to deliver her babies into a world like this. When she first came her, it was perfect, all the wolves had their own place, but one had to become greedy. It pained her to think that it had to be now, when she was so vulnerable. She wanted to go out and fight, but she knew she couldn't jeopardize the safety of the pups. It would kill her if something happened to them.
Cindershock, having finally made it to the cave barked her introduction quite rudely, "I'm Cindershock, and you're the wolf who won't join, or leave my lands." She narrowed her gaze quickly taking in the wolf before her. He was simple, and striking, all at the same time. Not at all like her Zephyr, though the color of their eyes were similar, in color only, his were cold as the rock they stood upon, frozen in their sockets. Zephyr's were warm, and welcoming, drawing her in. He was white, that was it, as white as the snow that was sure to fall soon in the coldness of winter, with a plain black nose and claws. He had no unique-ness about him. He was just a plain white brute of a wolf. Taller than she, no markings that would separate him. He was just white. That's all there was to say.
"Why do you run around here?" A simple question, calling for a simple answer, for a simple wolf. Her narrowed purple pools took in his appearance as she waited for a reply

He could feel her, a beacon in the stillness of his thoughts. His damned thoughts of Masina. She was a welcomed distraction of the highest degree. Her temper, at its end, stirred something deep within him, causing him to lick his chops in suppressed lust. Such an aphrodisiac the rage and pain was to his cursed heart. He wished he held the own means to end his life. But even that was beyond his control. He felt himself slowly fading away. The only two things he had to hold onto in his prolonged suffering was who he used to be and the memories of his past life. And slowly, he could feel them sliding out from beneath his claws. The brute new, his time was drawing near. Red tongue licked his chops once more. And his inner demon relished in the thought, driven by the anger and fear that coursed through the air about its outer-form. He wished he could die.
The alphess entered her domain, causing no stir to the strange, ghostly male. He knew she was coming, his senses reached beyond that of any mortal's. She barked to him, snapping her jaws with orders, adding emphasis to her short temper by placing an edge to her sharp voice. But it didn't phase him, nothing did. The white male didn't even look to her direction, only continuing to stare into cold space, as if the answers lied locked within the damp cave walls. There was no need to look at her anyways, she would receive no welcome in the form of a mortal expression. His eyes were dead, no light, no life. His maw set as stone with it's never-changing expression of nothing with is maw and brows curved in fractions of anger and pain. It didn't matter if he looked at her.
And she would get what she asked for, simply because he had no reason not to give it. Why did he run around here? His cold voice ripped through the steady hum of the falls with it's ragged edge, "Because I can." No respect, no need to give it. He couldn't die, at least not until it was time. Didn't know what his demon's heart was plotting, but he felt his end drawing near. Remembering who he once had been was the only thing that mattered. And he knew that alpha, who had been loved so much that countless fought and died in his name, would not stand to watch these lands deteriorate beneath the claws of a tyrant. The white brute didn’t move at all, no flinching at her harsh voice or anything, it was as if she was talking to a statue. This annoyed her to no end, she could not describe the annoyance she had for this brute right now, and that might be caused by her haywire pregnancy hormones. Either way it wasn’t smart for the brute to piss her off, though she knew he could probably hurt her in her condition if he wanted to. She shivered lightly in the cold air of the cave; heck everything was cold right now. She ground was frosted over, and she suspected that snow would soon fall to the ground, covering the Fukai lands in a blanket of white. She couldn’t wait for it in some senses, but in others, she was dreading it.
She sat her rump to the cold ground, giving her paws a little break. The brutes answer pissed her off even more than his ignoring her. This wolf was not apart of her pack, and it seemed he didn’t want to be, he hadn’t been in Kumari when Lucid took over so he had no reason to want to join the pack, for all she knew he could be a spy for him. Her eyes narrowed further, no in little slits like a cats. Her tail lashed back in forth like a cat would when it was angry.
Her fiery gaze turned cold as the air that surrounded the two of them, and it was as if her liquid eyes froze, a pure sign of anger.
“And who said you could, I certainly did not, and I am the alphess, and my mate would have told me if he let some wolf run around our pack lands but not join, so who are you, and who let you run around here, if anyone did?” Her words confused her, so she wasn’t sure if they made any sense to the brute in front of her.
OOC: Sorry for the long wait!

There it was. What he was looking for
The white wolf licked his chops slowly, turning his dead gaze toward her. It flowed from her, fluid and ripe. He could taste the sour bite on his tongue, as well as in his empty chest.
’…delicious…’
Anger flowed from her movements, and reeked with her words. His dead eyes locked with her livened ones of fire. It lived in her eyes.
His slick, red tongue slid over his smooth fangs beneath his closed chops. It flowed through the air around him, he could feel it absorb into his body, flow through him, fill the empty space where his soul was meant to lie. It pulsed with every dead beat of his heart, spreading through every fiber of his existence. The ghostly male stood, heavy chest slowly taking in deep, ragged breathes. His touch expanded, spreading his chilling, dead presence around him. He could feel every fiber of this alphess, all her packmates in the land, he could feel them all; heartbeats, breathes, touches. He could feel Masina…
He blinked, lifeless eyes focusing and unfocusing on her silhouette. His breathing slowed as he quickly stepped back, violently tearing his gaze from her. He had to stop. He was loosing control.
The white wolf made an obvious effort to not contact with her eyes. He instead, directed his cold stare to the wall opposite of him, his stance now flanking her. Damn it! He had grown careless, grown weak. But why… Why had he been so easily manipulated by something he had spent his meaningless existence to control… …Masina… She had made him weak, made him…forget? He grew confused, he couldn’t understand… Snarling, he mentally forced her from his thoughts, blocking everything he knew and remembered about her. Slowly, his dead eyes closed, claws gripping the solid ground of the cold gave, as if his life depended on it.
Slowly, his eyes opened.
Shining a wicked red.
Still, forcefully avoiding eye contact, a wicked grin spread wide across his chops, seeming to split his maw in half. His dark voice gave her his reply, started by a deep, wicked laugh.
”Your betess, Masina. She was so kind to invite me to wander about.”
His wicked laughter echoed through the dark cave.
No worries. Take your time replying! : ]
