Masina gave him one other smile, especially grateful for the comfort he was attempting to give her, even with just the simple hug. She was glad she had someone to talk to, at least... since the whole situation with Baztek, she had shut herself off even more from everyone else. At least, with her facade anyway... outwardly, she was still the kind, strong betess that the pack had come to know.
She felt a little better letting one other wolf know about her past... and about why she was the way she was. It was nice to be able to share with someone who showed a bit of compassion to her story, though she did miss Baztek... she was trying her hardest to push him from her memory.
He had spoke about confronting Lucid... about keeping her safe from him. This worried her, only because she didn't want to lose a pack mate to him... especially one she was able to talk to. "I appreciate that... I really do... Just be careful though. He wouldn't have pulled something like this if he didn't think he could have the choice backed up. He's got something under his fur... some sort of tool of some kind or extra power, though I cannot tell what it is. All I know, is that if this comes to a war, there will be a lot of bloodshed... and I'm going to have to be at my full strength to help heal the wolves who get injured." [/b] She sighed again before giving him a nod to start forward. She smiled again at his comment. "Thank you, but let's just give it a shot with me walking first... it might cause too much of a stir if the pack saw their betess being carried in as if she were injured or hurt... the pack is already going to be unnerved as it is. No need to cause more worry than what is already there."[/b] She gave him a small nod before taking a deep breath, steadying herself once more. She sighed slightly, taking a deep breath before making sure all her notions were in check... allowing her facade to completely take over and testing her muscles once more. Yes, she thought she should be able to handle at least the trek the rest of the way to where Zephyr called his meeting. She gave her tail a small flick before giving another smile to Ciryon. She slowly began to follow him as he took his way up the path toward the den area. She monitered her steps carefully, watching for any spots that would be exceptionally slippery at the time. Once or twice, her claws slipped ever so slightly, but she was able to regain her balance for the most part. I really need to get my act together... the pack will notice something if I don't... She thought quietly as she took a deep breath to steady herself more.[/blockquote] ((I figured it was innocent. And if you want, you can have them make it to Zephyr... I was going to make a post with her greeting him, but I wasn't sure if there was anything else you wanted to do with Ciryon before then.))

C I R Y O N Ciryon watched his step carefully as he advanced towards the den area. It wasn’t because he was afraid of slipping or falling, but it was mostly because he knew Masina was following his every step and he was trying to make it easier for her, so he was careful to choose the smoothest way possible up. He stopped rather often to wait for the white femme and to make sure that she was doing ok. Every now and then he saw the grip of her claws on the ground beneath her slip, but she seemed to have it all under control so he didn’t make a fuss over it.
If there was something that could be troublesome about the dens, and even dangerous sometimes, it certainly was how slippery the path up to them could get sometimes. Now that winter was nearing it was more obvious than ever since there was not enough sunlight to dry off the excess humidity off of the rocks that conformed said path. Sometimes it even froze over them, which was extremely dangerous if you didn’t watch your step carefully. One would think that with his massive size, Ciryon would be rather clumsy when it came to cross the slippery path to the dens. But the brute was a fast learner, and after a few tries he had figured out where he should and where he shouldn’t step, so he moved gracefully and with ease through the slippery path, avoiding any possible incidence.
Eventually they reached the den area. He waited for Masina and gave her a small, almost unnoticeable, smile as she approached him. After making sure that everything was all right he turn his head to the inner part of the dens, looking for Zephyr. He took a few steps ahead and sniffed the air for a moment; yes, he was definitively here. He made sure that Masina was still behind him before walking further on until he finally got a glimpse of the golden brute. “Alpha Zephyr”, he said calmly to get his attention. “You called?”, after this he bowed his head slightly in respect to greet him.
OOC - As I said before, I'm sorry for the long wait, work, being sick and my utterly dead muse has kept me from posting x.x I couldn't even manage to pull out a decent post, but at least it's something xD

He paced. With each long stride that thumped in tune to the steady beating of his heart - oh dear god! how could it be so steady at a time like this?! - his eyes glanced about. Golden orbs darting around in their sockets, waiting for the return call from his packmembers. So many now, so many had come to his and his darlings' lands in search of a pack and a family. So many that even though he had tried to greet as many as he could, unfortunately he could not greet them all. The ground was cold against his sensitive claws.
A sound. A crisp clear sound that rang through the eerie silence, cut to his audits. They twitched, swivelled, reacting automatically to the sound. A reply, of course. A reply, and so soon, he was glad. His lungs emptied and he let out a sigh, unaware that he was holding his breath. Surprising himself, he lashed his powerful tail otu a little, irritated at his own nervousness. The others would be panicky enough, and he had to show strength, he was the Alpha. Inexperience did not come into it at this point.
Masina's call rang clear, if a little shaky - odd - cutting through the air. It was almost like a single note that hung delicately above him, after the dreadful howl of Lucid that rang through the lands. It was almost music to his ears, though nothing like the music of his beloved. God how he feared for her safety. Her swollen belly was not only a sign of their intimacy, but also their weakness should enemies choose to attack. He would not be able to handle that loss.
His thoughts still darted about nervously, questions scrolling across his mind in rapid succession, what next? The marshlands? Where will the loners go? What will ensue? and most of all, how can I keep my Cindershock and my pups safe?
He shuddered violently, stopping himself, keeping himself in check, the scents had gotten stronger. Masina, and Ciryon as promised. They had come swiftly, slower than he had expected, but still swiftly. They were the first to arrive. He was sure Riptide was around near the den, with little Snippet not far off, and of course though Puru was exploring more and more as the days went by, he felt she still enjoyed the safety of the dens.
He smiled confidently as they approached, stretching a sparkling wing out almost absently, to pluck at the feathers; they had ruffled a little in his panic, he was embarrassed to find out. He tried, best he could, to make it look calm, but soon after he gave up and heaved another sigh, giving the two an apologetic smile.
"Ciryon. Masina. Hello to you both. You're the first to arrive, but others should come soon, I made my call clear..." He trailed off, giving them each a respectful dip of the head to show his acknowledgement of them.
"Of course, you don't need me to repeat that...sound. Everybody heard it no doubt, so the question is...what next? Loners will be flocking in or...joining the other side" He cringed at this, already there were sides, how quickly would this amount to full out war?
"We should be ready to greet them, and provide them with shelter and sanctuary for the time being. I know a lot of the loners are solitary for a reason, but if we take them in for now, and request their aid in defending our lands, then they will be able to....return....once...if the threat has been...eradicated" He still avoided using direct terms, perhaps a sign of his insecurity. His eyes turned to Masina a little, slightly pleading; she knew the lands better than him although he had tried to learn them, but she had lived here a lot longer than he. If there were anywhere of vantage point, or anything he needed to know about the lands, she would know.
"Masina...any strongholds of the Waterfall terrain?" He asked her gently, not wanting to ask too much of her.

Snip was out of the den when the howl came. It was rare for her to be out by herself, but the day was nice, and shy or not she was still mostly a puppy. The warm-looking patches of sunlight on the rocks outside the den lured her out from behind the waterfall in an uncharacteristically impulsive move. She emerged blinking into the bright sunlight and smiled at the feel of the lovely warmth drenching her skin. The dark grey and black fur that speckled her coat soaked up the rays like thousands of little tiny sponges stuck to her skin. Almost immediately she grew drowsy with the comfort of it and had to fight the urge to curl up on the rocks in front of the roaring falls and take a nap in the heat of the day. Sometimes Snip was sure she must have been a cat in a previous life, though she hadn’t yet remembered a feline past. Shaking her head determinedly, she headed out into the Fukai proper.
She moved through the forest slowly, nothing but a shadow barely discernable in the deeper shadows of the woods. Several times she slipped past an older wolf whose scent she recognized from the den behind the falls, but she was careful not to be noticed. Finding a father in Riptide had really grounded the young pup, but she was far from being comfortable around other wolves, even Fukai members. She still more or less saw other wolves as potentially dangerous- even those who said they were loyal to her had betrayed her in the past, so she was wary of trusting anyone. An attack well within Fukai’s borders, perpetrated by a pack member, was very unlikely and Snip knew that, but she couldn’t help the little quiver of apprehension that sprang up in her gut when she saw another swishing tail or twitching muzzle.
So she kept to herself for the most part, trotting through the underbrush and enjoying the earthy scents that surrounded her. She kept her nose in the air and a little smile on her muzzle, pausing now and then to chase a butterfly or sniff a particularly interesting patch of grass. Her tail began to tentatively wag and she simply enjoyed her romp through the forest like any puppy would. She made sure she knew which way led back to the falls but other than that didn’t pay a whole lot of attention to where she was headed.
And then something ripped through the trees with such force that Snip sat down in the dirt. It was a howl, but not a nice howl like Tide’s or the Alpha Zephyr’s. It was a mean howl, full of anger and hatred and threat. Snip whimpered, her ears flattening against her skull in recognition of thecruel spirit behind that terrible sound. "These lands, the Kumori Plains, are now joined with the Misuteriasu Mountain Packlands. Loners now traverse across lands that are claimed and must report to Lucid before doing anything more. Any challengers, please feel free to lead yourselves to your deaths. Any who wish to join the most powerful pack or join the leagues of the strong, speak with Lucid or Mira. These lands are now claimed for the Mountains and any challengers will be duly killed on the spot." Snip wasn’t entirely sure what that meant, but she knew it wasn’t good. A whine escaped her muzzle and her little body shook with uncertainty. And under it all was a little niggling seed of knowledge that she couldn’t quite place. Something about that howl sounded…familiar…
Just when Snip was about to place exactly why she thought she recognized the stranger’s howl, another one sounded as the echoes of the first faded. This was a voice she knew well- her Alpha was calling her to the Fukai’s den. Without another thought to the odd familiarity of the cruel voice, Snip raced off back home.
When she got there, things were in an uproar. Wolves were arriving from all directions, scrambling to get into the area behind the waterfalls. She slipped in between the bodies, arriving faster than most of the other wolves due to her smaller size. Her first instinct was to look around for Papa Tide- surely he was worried about her by now and would be looking for her- but then she saw two wolves standing beside the giant golden form that was Zephyr, and she stopped. The brute she didn’t know, which wasn’t unusual given her reclusive habits, but the fae…Snip found herself trotting towards her without consciously deciding to.
She reached the white wolf before she knew she wanted to approach her. The fae was very pretty, covered with golden swirls and stars that complemented her shocking blue eyes. Snip stared at her, trying not to be rude but also very confused. This wolf looked like Snip’s mother, the mother she’d lost scant months ago. Like Snip and er mher, she was noticeably small compared to her companions. Snip's mom, too, had been white, and silver streaks ran down her sides. Her eyes had been a darker blue than this crystal before Snip, but they had certainly been similar. And even her scent…it wasn’t exactly the same, but there were certain elements of it that Snip was sure had also been in her mom’s scent. She frowned with confusion. First she had recognized the loud mean howl, and now she knew this wolf…what was going on here?
She cleared her throat nervously. ”Zephyr, sir, I got here as fast as I could. What’s going on??” She glanced at Zephyr momentarily, but he didn’t really have her attention. Her usual shyness had vanished in the presence of this wolf who looked and smelled so much like her mother. ”Um, excuse me ma’am, but might I ask your name? You look a lot like my mom, and you smell like her too…do you know why?” Her tail was held at half-mast, caught between uncetainty and curiosity. Her ears weren't quite perked but weren't completely laid-back either. The dark circles around her eyes gave her a sad, lost-puppyish air. She knew that was pretty much a stupid question, but she asked anyway. It was just possible she might get an answer.

Masina gave a smile to Ciryon, showing how much she appreciated his help and concern on their mini journey together. She took a deep breath before entering the den area, steadying herself and regaining her composure. Her outward appearance would seem normal, if not a little tired, but it would be barely noticeable. She padded forward and greeted Zephyr with a kind nod and a smile, before sitting calmly upon the frigid ground beneath them.
Masina listened as Zephyr sounded nervous about the events. She was nervous too, but with her facade she had perfected, she hid behind the mask and held her usual outward and calm appearance and demeanor. She padded to him and pressed her nose to his neck gently, attempting to calm his nerves, without using her powers over healing. She meant it as a comforting gesture, and she would of course ask before using her powers if Zephyr found he needed to calm before other pack members showed up.
"Greetings, Zephyr. I am aware of why you have called this meeting. As for your question, our best stronghold is the den area. Wolves who have not tread it, especially in this freezing time, will have great difficulty infiltrating us, therefore giving us an advantage with the fact we know how to walk these cliffs, unlike most other wolves. Most wolves don't even smell our scent until its too late with the falls cascading down in front of the den area. There are some higher-up spots in the dens that you may wish to place Cindershock, the pups and any elders who may be incapable of fighting. Haven is large and I am sure he would be willing to help those who do not have flight capabilities to the higher ledges." [/b] She gave a kind smile and nodded, her tail curling around her paws as she folded her wings to her sides, resting them gently against her delicate frame. She turned her icy blue gaze in a different direction when a young voice caught her audits. One of the newer pack members that she had not met yet began to make her way over. Masina gave a kind smile, lowering herself to the small females position and gave a gentle nudge of welcoming. "Hello, little one. My name is Masina, the Betess of our lovely lands. As for why I smell and look like your mother, I am not sure. I assure you I have never had a litter of pups of my own, therefore there is no way that we are direct kin."[/b] She gave a very kind smile to her and nuzzled her gently in a comforting manner. Masina was always one to love pups and loved to make any wolf, especially young ones feel comfortable within the packlands and with her. "Perhaps we can figure out this sometime, when things might not be so urgent for the pack to meet? How about after the pack meeting? We can discuss more of this after things have settled a bit?"[/b] She nudged the pup gently as she gave a small lick of comfort before turning her gaze back toward Zephyr, though she still remained at the pups level.[/blockquote]

Puru heard it and then started to run. The only that was going through her mind right now was to run and never stop. The vioce and how loud it was reminded her of before she got to the falls. She did not even know where she was going. She was just running. She felt the earth, her element thud under paws.
"Get away!" She screamed. Her head was low to the ground. She was not heavy enough to make the ground thud that much. So she used her power and threw the rock behind her. "Leave me alone!" She continued to scream as she ran. She never stopped and did not care where her paws took her as long as it was far away from that voice. Her eyes closed as she ran, she was panting and needed to regain her breath but she never stopped. She only ran. Then she took a tumble on some slippery rocks covered in water. Her eyes opened and she slid to a stop. She had heard Zepyr's call and must have come her subconsiously. she did not realize she was still moving a bit. She was taking small steps towards the edge where if she looked to her side she would see the falls and below to her right she could smell the main den and her adopted father Zephyr. There was another ledge below her and if she jumped she could make it and then jump down again and get to the main den.
"Dad?" Puru called from the ledge that she was slowly slipping towards the edge. "Daddy?" she called out again. The fear she felt was clear in her voice. Then one paw slipped over the edge and she had to jump or she would fall into the water and she could not swim well. However since it was a forced jump she did not get enough force behind t and she missed the ledge. Her paws could not catch her and she fell haevily onto the rock and she whimpered. Then she stood up again but she slipped again and this time landed on the ledge that lead to the mian den.
"Daddy it hurts!" She whimpered as she got back up to her feet and started to walk towards him. However she limped and her right foreleg hurt. She couldn't put any weight on it and from the looks of it it was broken. Her left hind paw was bleeding and one of her foot pads was cut open. She also had a cut across her muzzle and another one over her eye. She also had other various cuts from the falls from the ledges and from her tumble earlier. She looked prety bad and she felt even worse. Then her body gave out on her when she was beside her Alphen dad. She may have stopped moving but she was still whimpering. Her eyes had closed and her legs still twitched, wanting to run farther and get away from the booming voice that ran out in her head. Her pelt twitched too, knowing she should do something but did not have the stregnth to do it. Her head pressed into the soft, warm golden fur. She still whimpered but she was no longer that scared knowing her father was close.

The red alphess had been sitting quietly on the borders listening for any sign of hostile intruders for long enough, she had heard her mates call, and had not answered so she could hear as best as she possibly could. Her feet were hurting her, she had exerted to much energy, and she was far too stressed, but she rose to her aching paws and walked slowly down the path with her muzzle up and sniffing all the while. She opened her maw and let out her own song in return to Zephyr’s. I’m coming my love, it said, she knew others could hear it, all her pack members, but she felt no embarrassment for showing her love to her mate for life.
She smelled Ciryon and Masina; they had already been by here heeding to their alpha’s call much sooner than she had. She padded onward, ignoring the pain in her feet, and the ache in her heart. She was worried to say the least, how could Lucid do this, and now, when she was so vulnerable, she would not be an asset to the pack, in fact they would probably put her in the dens high above the one where they normally stayed for safe keeping. Though in her mind she knew that was the right thing to do, to keep her and her pups safe from harm, she couldn’t help but want, want so badly to help her mate and pack to defend themselves, and try to save Aelyn.
Deep in her heart she wanted to have her pups, leave them with someone and go out and fight, without the pregnancy she was a valuable asset, with her powers, fire, lightning, and telekinesis she could help quite a bit. Not to be egotistical, but she knew she was powerful. But that one tiny piece in her heart meant nothing, not like the rest of her heart, and her mind which told her that would be wrong, she couldn’t risk herself like that, and the pups weren’t due for a while yet.
She continued on her way, seeing the opening of the clearing up ahead and hearing the wolves running around it, she could just barely see some of the wolves coats and she quickened her steps to get there. Once she broke the trees and into the clearing could she really see the havoc that was going on, she woofed once, and walked through the crowd to stand beside her mate, just in time to see her adopted daughter, Puru, collapse to the ground with all kinds of cuts on her face and legs.
“Puru!!!”

Zephyr listened intently as Masina explained their stronghold, his paws shifting his weight. So thye den was the safest place after all...the alcovers further into the caves would probably hold those that couldn't fight; the rockface from the outside was certainly large enough. He smiled a little; this could work if they managed to get the injured and younmg members into a safe place then there would be less worry for attack. On the other hand...
"That would be a great idea for Haven, thank you. However..." He turned to Masina, his eyes wavering a little. "Is there a back way out of the higher alcoves, in case the worst comes to the worst?" Think ahead, he always needed to think ahead.
His heart warmed at the sight of little Snippet stepping forwards towards Masina. She was getting better aqt introducing herself, even when her 'Papa Tide' wasn';t around. It was a sight to see. However what she said made him falter a little - her mother? Not many wolves were as lucky as he in his background, Cinder he knew for one - she had always grown up to think that she was inferior - a freak. Now she knew better, as alphess of the largest pack in all of Aelyn. And now Puru; his little girl fighter.
Cinder bounded in; he had heard her loving call a few minutes ago, letting him know that she would soon be by his side and there she was in all her glory. Her swollen belly made her slightly larger than normal and she looked evermore majestic in her heavy pregnancy. He nuzzled the soft feel of her fur as she ran to stand beside him, reminding her once more of his undying love for her.
One ear perked up at a small sound. A cry, and a sickening crunch. His startled eyes followed the falling debris from near the top of the waterfalls, to its cauyse. His little fighter, staggering towards him. Daddy...it hurts... He let out a whimper of worry, rushing to her side just as she collapsed onto his paws. Her leg was twisted horribly, cuts and bruises dotting her tiny body. She must have been exhausted.
His golden orbs searched around, lighting up almost immediately. Masina...and Snippet. Zephyr's jaws closed gently around his adopted daughter's midriff, his hot breath moistening her fur a little as he lifted her up with ease, taking her over to the bed of leaves and straw and fur he and Cinder shared. He set her down carefully, licking the tip of her nose lovingly to let her know he was there. Then, keeping his paws shielding her body, he raised his maw slowly.
"Snippet? Snip could you heal her a little" He asked the younger fae. True, he could have asked Masina, but she may need to preserve her strength. Snipper may be among those too young to fight if it came down to it, which brought Zephyr's thoughts round full circle.
What of his dearest? He looked to her now, fearing for her safety. She had been running around lately, so heavy with pups. She may not like it, but if she refused to go with the younger members up to the alcoves, then he would carry her himself. She was an asset to the pack with her abilities but she was too endangered to stay within the firing line, botyh for her life and the fragile lives of their unborn pups she had to stay in the safety of the den... he would not risk it.

((If you decide I'm posting out of turn, just tell me to delete/move it and I will.))
Snip looked up into the pretty white wolf’s face as she waited for an answer. True, the wolf’s smaller size meant she didn’t have to look quite as far up as she normally did, but Snip had yet to find a wolf she was the same size as. Her little body put her at chest height or lower to most wolves; though a year old already, she hoped she would grow at least a little in the future to help even out the gap. As it was, her size currently only added to her shy nature, as it made her very aware that she had very little in the way of defense against older, bigger wolves. This wolf made her feel a bit better, though, since she was closer to Snip’s size.
The size difference proved not to matter in the slightest, as the strange white wolf leaned down to Snip’s level to speak. She nudged Snip’s side gently in welcoming and, far from pulling back as she normally would, snip found herself leaning in to the comforting touch. She was surprised by her own reaction, but figured it was just because she was reminded so strongly of her mom. Her shyness didn’t stand a chance against the force of memory and the kind smile on the white fae’s face. Hesitantly, Snip smiled back. She hoped she wasn’t being rude by just going up and asking questions, but she really hadn’t thought about it. The strange similarities with her mom had struck her and she’d asked about it without stopping to consider if this might not be a good time.
Her ears fell a little when she got her answer. She hadn’t really expected the wolf to know why she looked and smelled like the dead mother of a pup new to the pack, but part of her had hoped she would. When she heard she was talking, just out of the blue talking to the Betess of Fukai, with no respect for her position, a light blush stained her cheeks and she ducked her head in apology. Masina didn’t seem to mind though, and even licked her and nuzzled her gently before looking back to Zephyr. Almost unconsciously responding to such freely offered kindness, Snip leaned against Masina’s side, pressing herself lightly to the wolf. She looked up into her face. ”I’m sorry, Masina ma’am, I didn’t think about it much, I guess. I mean, I probably should have waited to ask you but I was surprised by it and I just asked.” Her voice was shy again now that her initial burst of curiosity was gone, but she didn’t move from her chosen spot by Masina’s side. ”Waiting is probably a good idea.” She paused a moment before adding offhandedly, as an afterthought, ”My Mama’s name was Lía.”
Masina’s mention of the urgency of the pack meet reminded Snip of that huge, mean howl that had scared her so much and sparked all the rushing about that was going on. Her ears flattened to her head again and she huddled against Masina, her tail tucked up against her belly. Fear made her coon-masked eyes grow huge and she looked to Zephyr for answers, trying to reassure herself of her safety by looking at her huge Alpha. He was strong and so sure of himself- Snip told herself that she was safe here, with him to look after her and the rest of the Fukai pack, but the fear still lingered in the pit of her stomach. It wasn’t just fear of what was happening; part of it was sparked by something she knew, something other wolves were never supposed to find out…she couldn’t remember what it was but she knew it was important. It seemed to have to do with the shadowy images that were her earliest memories in life. Memories of a warm den, curling up to her mother’s side while huge mountains rose up all around them…
Just then, a little body, about Snip’s size, crashed down the cliffside and landed in a heap near Zephyr and het newly arrived Alphess Cindershock. Both of the Alpha pair rushed to the two-toned heap of purple fur. At first, Snip thought the pup- for pup it was, had to be at that size- was dead, but then she moved and Snip could see pain-filled blue eyes and a twitching ear with three small earrings in it. The pup couldn’t seem to stand- she was covered in cuts and bruises from her fall. Snip’s coat twitched and she got itchy inside, the sure sign that her healing power wanted to work. She held herself back, though; she didn’t know this wolf and it wouldn’t be right to just go up and heal her, no questions asked first. So she held close to Masina and waited.
Zephyr realized that the little pup couldn’t stand and picked her up, carrying her to a nest of leaves and straw, and set her down with the gentleness of a worried parent. To Snip’s surprise, he looked up, not at one of the adults but at her. When he asked if she would heal the purple fae, Snip needed no second request. ”I can try, Zaphyr sir,” she answered promptly, trotting over to him after an unconscious nudge to Masina. ”I might not be able to fix all of it, but I’ll do my best.” She laid down close beside the injured pup. She looked her over quickly- the damage was mostly a lot of tiny cuts that wouldn’t take much healing, but her front leg looked broken. That would need attention first. The tingling itch grew inside of Snip as her power started to wake itself up without any prompting from her. Nudging the pup softly to get her attention, Snip said ”I’m going to try to heal you, so you need to try to hold still, okay?” She locked eyes with the pup, her soft golden gaze meeting the pup’s scared blue eyes with concern. ”I have to touch your injured leg; it might hurt and I’m sorry, but it won’t hurt for long.”
She lowered her muzzle to the broken leg and touched it very lightly with her nose. Her eyes closed in concentration as a faint glow spread out from her muzzle to include most of her head and the broken leg. Warmth built up in her and flowed into the injured limb; her power flowed with it to knit bone together and heal it as if it had never been broken in the first place. Little sparks of her power danced over the two-toned pelt beside her, healing up little cuts and vanishing bruises. In a few minutes, the purple pup was as good as new and Snip was feeling drowsy and achy with exhaustion. The healing had taken a lot out of her, but she had done it. She hoped her Alpha would be proud of her now.
Looking up first at Zephyr and then at Masina, who she felt inexplicably attached to already, she said, ”She’s as healed as I can get her, Zephyr sir. But- but I had a question?” A sudden wave of exhaustion almost overcame her, but she kept her eyes open and asked, ”Who was that mean howl from? I think…I think I know him…”

Masina listened to her alpha and thought for a moment. She couldn't think of any real ways outside of the den through the waterfalls, but she was sure that if they could find someone who could move earth, they would be able to make tunnels that would allow for an easy escape. This led her to think upon other things. Would she be healing this event? Her abilities of healing were far more advanced than any wolf she knew, but she also knew that her telekinesis was a strong weapon as well. She could stay and tend to the wounded as they were brought in? Any wolves that were wounded from any of the packlands should they forge together for a fight.
Masina was smart, and not really one for enjoying battles, but she was more than capable of coming up with scenarios that would best suit their needs and to best allow them to have the highest advantage they could reach. She pondered on this for a moment, before she turned her gaze to Zephyr. "I do not know of any ways out of the den area, aside from the main entrance. Do we have any wolves who can move the earth and perhaps make secret exits for us to be able to escape through if worst comes to worst?" [/b] She paused for a moment, before looking around the gathered pack members. "Zephyr, do you think that after we assess this threat as a pack, that perhaps I may speak to you and Cinder alone? I have some information for you that you might find useful."[/b] She knew there was no hiding it and that she would have to at least tell her alphas a little bit about her past in order to give their pack the best advantage they could against her brother. She waited patiently for an answer. She turned her gaze back to Snippet before her, as she smiled down at the small pup, lowering herself to her level once more. She smiled to herself as the young one rested herself against Masina's side. "Don't worry. You should never be afraid to ask questions... its the only way we're going to learn and expand our minds."[/b] She bent down and licked the small pup, before turning her gaze toward Zephyr once more. The pup spoke again, as if adding an afterthought, and this tweaked something in Masina's mind as she heard the name... Lía... where had she heard that before? The name was all too familiar and she couldn't help but find it important that she remember where she knew that name from. She signed inwardly to herself, putting a note in her mind to think on it more later. Masina was slightly startled as Zephyr and Cinder's adopted daughter literally fell into the picture, how she was injured, and she had instantly flinched forward out of instinct to help the young pup... when Zephyr requested it of Snippet, instead. So, Snippet was a healer? Masina was amused by this and watched as the young pup went forward. She watched as the young wolf touched her nose to the damaged leg, watched it heal before her eyes. Could she heal the entire leg, muscles, tendons and all? Or was she able to heal just abrasions? Masina was curious and wanted to find out more if she could. She padded forward, carefully, as Snippet worked her magic. She watched the young females techniques and how her abilities worked, and pondered on her own. They were so similar, the two of them... and she couldn't quite pinpoint why... She just watched calmly as one pup tended to another. She watched how the pup grew weary through healing and instantly reached a paw out to comfort her. She could heal the exhaustion that this pup was feeling, and even show her how to do it eventually should she ask. She could also go over the small adopted pup, Puru to see if there were any additions she could do, but she would either wait for Zephyr to say something about it. There were too many distractions happening in this dire time, and things were going too slowly. If Masina knew her brother at all, she would know he would be acting much quicker now to achieve his goals. She was just about to say something when Snippet spoke up. She knew that voice? Knew the sound of her brother? How? Only wolves that had either been in his pack or in her pack beforehand had known him. She was far too young have been around for Lucid's hostile take-over... but could she have been in her mothers swollen stomach as he attempted to hunt down the rest of the wolves that chose to flee his ambitions? Perhaps she was a survivor of one of those attacks? Masina remembered well doing whatever she could to elude her brother's search for wolves that had escaped him, especially Masina herself. Everything with this young wolf was starting to click. She looked to Zephyr, a slightly startled look in her eyes, before turning back to Snippet. "You recognize that brute?"[/b] She paused for a moment, hoping not to raise alarm... but it may have showed a bit that Masina was shocked that another wolf knew who this brute was, and one so young. Her mind had begun to race with thoughts and scenarios, before she turned to Zephyr once more. "When we discuss things, we should bring Snippet too. And I suggest we do so soon."[/b] She spoke directly to Zephyr and Cindershock as she said this, her eyes only visible to them, and they held a sense of urgency that they needed to talk about what had happened soon in private, away from the rest of the pack members. She locked eyes with her Alphas as she waited, hoping they would understand how important it was they get through this as quickly as possible in order to sure maximum safety of the pack. She turned her gaze to Snippet for a brief moment, and spoke in a small, quiet voice that only she could hear. "Hold onto that thought. I think I have answers for you, but you will have to wait until we can speak with Cindershock and Zephyr alone, okay?"[/b] She nudged the pup with her nose to assure her she meant her words and that it was very important that they discuss things away from the rest of the pack wolves in order to make things a little easier and smoother. She raised her head, focusing her gaze once more on her Alphas. Words - 1,116 (CURSE YOU ELF! xP ) Muse - Well, I can definitely say that Masina has plenty of muse for herself. [/blockquote]
