A lone, big brute wandered near the shore of the great Fukai Lake. He was strolling in a rather relaxed way, stopping occasionally to sniff the ground around him to check for anything suspicious, which was an indication that these lands were unknown to him. The wolf’s name was Ciryon, and he was currently headed towards some high grounds he had seen from a distance in the lake’s shore. He figured he would be able to have a better view of the lands he hand just stumbled in some time ago from there. During one of his occasional check ups of the ground that surrounded him he felt a different sent, a sent that immediately caught his attention. Raising his head he cast a rapid glance around him to make sure he wasn’t being watched and looked towards the forest to his side, ‘So there are other wolves around here after all’, he thought. Ears perked up, he tried to catch any sound that would indicate their presence nearby, maybe a howl in the distance, or steps in the forest that surrounded the lake … But he got nothing. He sighed and let his stance relax a bit again, ’Of course I won’t get a sign of them at the first try, they’re territory must be enormous considering the length of these lands, they could be anywhere … How foolish of me’. And with that he redirected his attention to the high lands he was intended to reach at first, which weren’t much farther from where he was standing anymore, ’I guess I should be going now, the faster I can identify these lands the better … And if there are other wolves around I guess it would be faster and easier to let them find me, rather than going and trying to find them myself when I’m not even familiar with this place’. He nodded to himself as in self-acceptation of his plan and cast fast glance to the little hill in the lake’s shore before starting to stroll towards it once again.
He reached it a few minutes later, and after making sure it was safe, he proceeded to climb to the top. There where a few trees scattered around it and one big tree that stood out at the top, nothing like the forest surrounding the lake of course. When he finally reached the top, Ciryon approached the tree that laid there and decided that it was a good place to rest for a while, so he sat down by it’s side, gaze fixed on the lake before him. ’Mhm … Such a beautiful sight’, he though, while the soft, cool breeze, coming from the mountains far away, grazed his face, ruffling his fur a bit. He closed his eyes for a moment and took a deep breath, enjoying the coldness of the breeze. This was certainly relaxing and he didn’t feel to need to move from where he was, so he just stayed there, gazing at the lake. Still, he didn’t let his guard down, he knew that sooner or later someone would approach him, and there was no way for him to know if it would be a friendly approach or not.

His pelt bristled in the soft wind, gentle but cold, as he tucked his forepaws into his chest, and anked swiftly. He loved catching air currents such as these, and on a blustery day flying was so much more fun. He angled his secondaries, golden feathers glinting in the sun, and caught another updraft, laughing a little to himself. He was one with the wind, using it, letting it guide him to wherever he may go.
He opened his mouth, letting the wind whistle softly through his teeth, drying his tongue almost instantly but he didn't care. He floated gracefully in the air, his mouht hanging open like some happy goon, his eyes closed in the pure ecstacy of the moment. Then, promptly, he hit an air pocket.
The sudden loss of velocity was odd for him, and he opened his eyes in surprise before flailing rather stupidly with his legs, flapping his wings desperately to remain airborne. When it seemed obvious this wasn't going to work out, he changed his tactis, spreading his wings to glide swiftly down. Here he succeeded in making a less than graceful landing that resulted in a few skidding bumps on the rump and rolling very ungracefully into the trunk of a tree.
Coughing and spitting bark out of his teeth, Zephgyr shook his head as one normally does after a fright, and got up, preening his fur and taking care of any sticking out feathers. Checking that he was not too shabby, he turned round only to realise he had landed upon a small, yet quaint hill, and that he was now encountering another wolf, a stranger to his lands. What an entrance to make for the Alpha eh? Clearing his throat, he laughed nervously before introducing himself;
"Greetings, brute. I am Zephyr, Alpha of these lands. You are welcome to stay here, all we ask in return is that you do not overfeed yourself, or hunt any of the larger caribou in the area, an be wary of other pack members. I don't want any casualties upon my lands" He sounded formal enough, but his mind doubted the fact that the brute would take his words seriously after that sort of entrance.
Words: 373 OOC: Thought I'd enter with a bang hehe ^w^

Cindershock ran through the forest trying to find a clearing big enough for her to spread her wings and take flight. One of the wolves had told her Zephy was out here and she wanted to be with him. She kept running getting annoyed at herself for taking the wrong path and having to double back, she was a little lost if she did say so herself.
The femme ran a little farther becoming familiar with the terrain and figuring out where she was. She thought there was a clearing up ahead, but only if she were were she thought she was. Cinder lifted her muzzle to the air and let out a little howl calling to her mate. It was a lovely song, one full of longing and love. She smiled a little at her silly thoughts and feelings.
She ran faster sensing he was near, so preoccupied by the excitement she was feeling to see him she didn't notice that he was with another wolf until she came right upon them. Cinder skidded to a stop behind her handsome mate, her eyes wide and surprised to see the other unfamiliar brute in front of her.
Cinder quickly shook herself and gathered her thoughts, at least she hadn't done something to bad, like fallen. That would have sucked. She grinned at the brute, suspecting Zephyr had already introduced himself. The fae brushed her tail over Zephyr's back and smiled sweetly at him before turning back to the wolf. "I'm Cindershock! Alphess, and Zephyr's mate." Simply spoken words falling from her maw before she even thought about it. So many times she had said those words to new members of the pack. Riptide, Snippet, Ayame, and many more. They had greeted a lot of the wolves in their pack together, and Fukai seemed to be getting a lot of permanent visitors lately.

As he gazed at the lake he noticed something suspicious-looking flying over it in the distance, ‘And what may that be?’, he wondered. His doubts increased when he noticed it was heading his way. Just as a precaution he stood up, ready to get out of the way if necessary. As it approached he noticed it was not a ‘thing’, but a wolf, gliding gracefully in the skies using a pair of magnificent golden wings to keep himself airborne. Ciryon didn’t exactly know if it was a good thing that the wolves from this land had found him already, for all he knew the one that was currently approaching the place where he stood from the sky could either be just investigating who this trespasser was and therefore he wouldn’t be coming in an aggressive manner, or he could be coming to defend his territory right away, which meant he would probably have to be ready to defend himself from a possible attack. Another possibility was that this wolf was just passing by and hadn’t even noticed his presence there as of yet, and even more improbable: this wolf could be a loner just like him. He honestly didn’t know what to think but decided to take all the precautions needed, after all he was the invader here. Of course he wasn’t going to run away with his tail between his legs like a coward, it wasn’t his style, seeing as he wasn’t someone to be easily intimidated. So he stood there, assuming a defensive stance without taking his eyes off of the flying canine that approached him rather quickly, ready for whatever this new wolf might throw at him. But then, when the wolf was close enough for Ciryon to distinguish clearly the color of his fur, and even to deduct that he was a male because of his built, something unexpected happened: he seemingly slowed down a bit and then out of nowhere he started flailing his legs and flapping his wings in a desperate way, which looked rather comic from Ciryon’s point of view. He raised an eyebrow with an amused grin gracing his lips at the scene unfolding before him, ‘I wonder if he's ok?’, he thought, ‘Maybe he’s having a convulsion of some sort …’. He kept letting his thoughts wonder in a rather silly way, imagining what possibly could be wrong for a few seconds before realizing that the other brute wasn’t stopping in his abrupt descent, if anything he was going a bit faster now, gliding down with his wings spread wide, everything looked like he was going to crash the moment he touched land … And he was still headed in Ciryon’s direction. ‘Uh oh ..’, he though, and he quickly moved to the side to avoid a direct collision with the other brute. By the time he looked back where he had been standing a mere seconds before, the brute that had been gracefully gliding over the sky not too long ago was now coughing and spitting bark out of his mouth while trying to make himself look decent after having rolled against the tree that stood atop of the little hill where they stood. Ciryon quickly approached him without letting his guard down, ready to ask him if he was ok and offer him his help if needed.. Still, before he could even say a word, the other wolf cleared his throat and laughed in a nervous way before addressing him. “Greetings, brute. I am Zephyr, Alpha of these lands. You are welcome to stay here, all we ask in return is that you do not overfeed yourself, or hunt any of the larger caribou in the area, an be wary of other pack members. I don't want any casualties upon my lands”, he said. Ciryon raised and eyebrow ‘So this is the Alpha of the pack who inhabits these lands …’, he though a bit incredulous. Soon he realized he hadn’t introduced himself yet, and proceeded to do so without wasting a second more. “Ah, forgive my rudeness, my name is Ciryon, and I just happened to stumble into your territory while I traveled around the land. I mean no harm to you or your pack, in fact, I was wondering if it would be possible for me to join you. I have nowhere to go and I figured I might as well make myself useful for someone else other than myself.”, he said, vowing his head slightly in respect. A mere second later rushed footsteps coming from behind Zephyr caught Ciryon’s attention and he raised his head, making sure to avoid eye contact with the golden brute as to not disrespect him. An then, a red orange fae with purple eyes appeared behind him and stopped abruptly, she seemed to have been running and was obviously surprised to see Ciryon. He assumed she was a part of the pack as well, since apparently she knew the Alpha. And then she grinned at him and spoke, confirming his suspicions, ‘So this brute here really is the Alpha of this pack after all, and she’s his mate … I guess I’m just lucky to meet both of them at the same time, that saves me a lot of trouble. Though they sure are an … Interesting pair, considering they’re the Alphas of these lands.’, he though with a slight smirk, remembering Zephyr’s entrance, which could only be described as … unique; and the way his presence caught Cindershock out of guard at the moment she appeared. He quickly regained his composture and replied to the fae’s greeting though, “I see, I am pleased to meet you Alphess”, he said, vowing his head slightly in respect as he did before with Zephyr, “My name’s Ciryon, I’ve wandered through the lands for some time and, as I was telling the Alpha here, I would like to join your pack”, he continued with a calm smile of his own. Even though the way he met both Alphas might have been a bit … special, he didn’t mind at all. He had the feeling that this was a good thing, he had been seeking to join a pack for some time after all, and now, for some reason, he was convinced that this was a good place to stay. OOC - Omg, fear my word count ... 1071 words! Rawr! xD Well, it certainly ended up being a bit longer than expected but oh well lol Btw, Zephyr's entrance was totally awesome xD

Zephyr grinned like a darned fool as Ciryon introduced himself, feeling rather glad that the wolf didn't actually mention his rather un-Alpha-like entrance and landing. Underneath his fur, his cheeks flushed with embarrassment, which was only heightened by the arrival of Cindershock. His mate, he hoped, hadn't seen his landing, otherwise she would have been in fits of laughter right now. At that thought, he gave a nervous laugh to himself, and itched at his ear a little with a hind leg.
He shivered though, when her tail brushed past him, closing his eyes for a moment as he scented her. Every time she was with him, every single time, she amazed him with her beauty. Though, he suddenly realised, with a pang of guilt, he hadn't told her much lately. He would do so tonight, he decided. He would curl up with her, kiss her on the nose and say "I love you my sweet, to me, you are the most delicate flower, the most beautiful creature upon this planet". Hopefully it wouldn't sound so soppy and hopeless-romantic sort out loud than it did in his head.
But back to the situation though. He nodded, dipping his head to Ciryon and smiling as Cinder introduced herself, squealing a little in his mind when she spoke of him as her mate; he should really get used to it by now, but he was still in a state of joy. The greatest thing in the world is to love, and be loved by another.
"Greetings Ciryon. I would take pride in having you join our pack, unless Cinder has any disagreements?" He said it as if it were an abhorration to percieve, he knew Cinder would never turn a soul down, but still, if she had negative feelings for the brute, he would chase Ciryon from their lands without question. He would, for her.
Words: 320 OOC: Thank you ^^. xD Darn you and your word count ownage. Yay It's Zephyr! Being all lovestruck again lol =3

Cindershock giggled when Zephyr shivered at her tail trailing over him, she smiled at him coyly, and then remembering there was another wolf present, turned back to him. Forget flirting, you can do that later. She watched the wolf smirk, and wondered what he was thinking about. She cocked her elegant head to the side and smirked softly back.
The red fae watched as her mate, she squeed on the inside, and the new comer Ciryon interact with one and other, she had never seen Zeph with a new wolf, and it was interesting to see him act all alpha-like. She shivered. Oh, how she loved him so. She couldn’t get enough of him, of his scent, of his eyes, of his golden pelt, all of him was just to much for the fae. She rubbed her side against his, showing her affection to the new comer and now caring in the slightest. This was her mate, her love, and she would show it everyday. She felt, that since they had discussed having pups together, (and her falling pregnant and not telling him yet) that she had not shown her love enough. Sure she thought about it, but no, she didn’t show it to him, or even others enough, and now she was making up for it.
“You know I would never turn anyone away, plus I trust your judgment,”] the crimson wolf whispered in her mates ear so that only he could hear her, “Of course you may stay, I have no problems that,” she said this part louder so that the wolf could here her, and smiled reassuringly at the brute, he would fit in fine in her family.
OCC- *Cowers in fear over word count* Nice Chi! I love Zephyr so much Tio, I felt that since Cinder got a love filled post, so should Zeph!

Patrolling, as usual... Masina looked around her, her heart heavy and shattered, though her outward appearance was the same as ever... cheery, chipper, welcoming. All things positive and happy, this was her facade.
After a few remarked scent markers and a quick runthrough of the lands, she came back to an original starting area, where she caught the scent of a new wolf, potentially a loner, though mixed with the scent was her Alphas. She took a deep breath, put on a smile, and padded her way over to the small group.
Her pelt, white as freshly fallen snow, dappled with markings that caught the lights in a metallic sort of way, rippled with her soft and delicate form as she padded forward to greet her Alphas and the loner. Her wings were folded gently to her sides, the golden feathers holding the same metallic sheen that her markings did, though very obviously, she wasn't at all metallic. Her form was small, smooth and delicate and she moved calmly and with poise and grace. Her eyes, icy blue and sparkling with life from her outward facade, smiled at the loner as she approached and gave a small bow to her Alphas.
"Greetings, Zephyr and Cindershock. How are things with you both today?" [/color] She smiled at them, before turning her head to the Loner to greet him as well. "Hello. My name is Masina and I am the Betess of these lands, glad to serve with my lovely Alpha's, whom I would introduce, but knowing them, they have already introduced themselves. Its a pleasure to meet you..."[/b] She let the last sentence trail off, as if waiting for the brute to introduce himself to her. When she spoke of her alphas, she smiled gently at them and gave them another nod of respect, before she turned her gaze back to the brute before her. So many wolves seemed to be joining these lands, which was both good and bad. She loved the idea of more company, but loathed it at the same time, only because the appearance of more loners and new pack members had pushed Baztek from her and caused him to fulfill his promise, long before she was ready for it to be done so. However, these emotions and feelings were hidden deep behind her strong facade as she continued to keep a soft smile on her face and a glint of hope in her eyes.[/blockquote]

CIRYON. Ciryon smiled slightly as he got the Alphess’ answer. So this was it, as of now he was officially a member of this pack. This certainly made him feel good inside; he would no longer need to wander around without having a specific destination, and he actually was part of a pack once again, after all the time he had spent on his own. It certainly was nice feeling, as if he had recovered something he had long lost. “Thank you for taking me in, I swear to never betray you or the pack”, he said simply, yet sincerely. His sober little smile had disappeared from his lips as if to maintain his composure, yet it was almost possible to see it reflected in his eyes.
When he was about to ask the Alphas about the rest of the pack the scent of a third wolf caught his attention. He quickly turned his head in the direction where the scent came from, more in curiosity than anything else. He was a bit surprised to see a rather small femme approaching them calmly then. He assumed she was a member of the pack as well; otherwise she wouldn’t approach them with such serenity. He took the opportunity to examine her as she padded gracefully their way, his deep green orbs fixed on her as she moved. She looked small and delicate, though in all honesty anyone could look small if compared to him. Her pelt was of the purest white, though what caught his attention were the metallic-like markings that adorned it, taking in the light of her surroundings. They were of the same tonality as her wings, and if he put it all together he noticed that it gave her presence a strange radiance.
When she was already near them she smiled at him, and he returned her smile with one of his own, even if it was only a small and sober smile. After giving a courteous nod to both Alphas and greeting them she looked at him again and proceeded to introduce herself. He was a bit taken aback to learn that she was the Betess of these lands, not because he didn’t expect her to hold such rank, but rather because he had now met almost every high ranked wolf in the pack at once. He was quick to reply though, and he introduced himself, as it was proper. “I’m pleased to meet you Masina”, he said with a short and respectful nod, “My name’s Ciryon and until a moment ago I was a mere wanderer who happened to stray into your lands. Though it seems that I’ve now been allowed to stay and join your pack by the Alphas here”. He briefly looked in Zephyr and Cinder’s direction as to make his point, and then he directed his eyes back at Masina.
He couldn’t help but notice something odd when he looked into her eyes though. As happy as she seemed to be on the outside and as peaceful and hopeful as her gaze was, when he looked into her icy blue orbs he could see something dark and painful stir there. It was well hidden but he could see it, as if nothing could escape his attentive gaze. It was as though there was a void inside of her; perhaps she had lost something or someone important to her recently? He wouldn’t dare to ask or mention it though, those matters where always very personal. He should know, after all he was familiar with said feeling. He suddenly realized what he was doing though: establishing eye contact in such a rude way when he didn’t even know her. He quickly looked away, hoping he hadn’t been looking at her long enough for her to be uncomfortable or to even notice. OOC – I apologise if this isn't really that great of a post, but I’m still struggling with my half-dead muse, so this is the best I could come up with x.x

Zephyr grinned as Cindershock whispered back in his ear. Her lovely voice was almost like a sweet song to his ear, nad he yearned for it. His wings unfolded from behind his back to stretch lightly, agitated at being tucked away for so long. His larger feathers twitched in response to the cool breeze passing through them and he sighed happily, gladdened by the feeling of the wind.
He smiled at his and Cinder's final judgement, dipping his head to the brute as Ciryon expressed his thanks. His head turned, muzzle opening to start asking Cinder if they should show him to the den, when a fresh scent wafted past his nostrils. His tail flicked about, a mind of it's own almost lazily as he tested the scent.
Masina's crisp scent echoed loud and clear, there was no mistaking that almost exotic scent, similar in his opinion to water lily's and the scent of the foam of a waterfall. Still nothing compared to his Cindershock.
"Good Day to you too Masina, I hope you're well" He said, smiling gracefully at his betess. She was so used to greeting new wolves by now, it was surprising to find that Ciryon had been alone when Zephyr first met him. He chuckled softly at Masina's quip about the Alphen pair; it was true that they liked to introduce themselves to new members as a pair. It showed unity.
The brute waited until Ciryon and Masina were rightfully introduced before clearing his throat, his wings beating slowly to stretch the muscles in them.
"Well Ciryon, would you care to take a walk with Cindershock" He nuzzled her at this point "Masina and I in order to show you the pack dens?" He asked, cocking his head a little in curiosity.
Words: 302 OOC: I'm sorry it took longer than expected, but I finally got this to the right resolution where I can type quickly without the page reloading every five seconds and not registering half the stuff I've typed xD. OOC - Cinder told me it was ok for me to just skip her here, so well ... Here I come xP CIRYON Ciryon snapped out of his thoughts as he heard Zephyr clearing his throat. He immediately diverted his gaze from the general direction of Masina and looked back at the Alpha, as he assumed he was going to say something and it would only be proper for him to pay attention to what he had to say.
As the golden brute spoke Ciryon started to get lost in thought once again. So they would show him the pack dens already. That was good, he was strangely eager to meet the rest of the pack and he had no doubt that he would be able to meet at least a couple of his now pack-mates at the dens. He couldn’t quite understand why he was growing so excited about being in a new pack. Maybe it was because it had been so long since he last was a member of one, or maybe the sole fact of being in contact with other wolves in a friendly manner. He had been a loner for almost two years after all, and in that time he rarely had contact with other wolves. He just hoped that his excitement wasn’t showing in his features, he had to maintain his composure after all.
There was just a little moment of silence from his part as he thought of this after Zephyr said his last words. He was quick to give the other brute an answer though. “Of course, I would be glad to take a walk with you and get to know the dens”, he said with a slight smile as he looked at the three other wolves. After this he just stretched his wings slightly as they were getting a bit sore from being tucked away for so long and he waited for either of the other wolves to lead the way. Word Count - Too lazy x.x ... 300+ish e.e Muse - Half dead thanks to work >.> OOC - I know, terrible post, but I didn't really know what to write.
