Okay, Vince, this is the first and probably last pack you will ever enter. You are here to help these people to survive. You are here to defend the young ones here. Now go in and see what these wolves are like!
Vincent Valentine put one paw across the back boarder line. He felt the damp mud seep between his paw pads and wolf toes, and he smiled. This was one reason he joined Nigori. He loved marshland. Vincent was a reasonably sized wolf, and he was intimidating at first glance. He was friendly though, and he was slightly aloof, but very loyal to alphas and higher ups. He was a friendly fighter, one would say. He was mostly dark red, with grey markings. The most distinctive was the cross on his face.
Vincent continued to walk fore ward into the Nigori lands. e looked around and called out, "IS ANYONE HERE!" He continued, still looking around like a suspicious fox. He sighed and looked down at his feet. The water flooding over his paws like a rising cake. He liked this place a lot. Reminded him of a safe place. Not anywhere in particular, just a safe place. He wanted to be accepted. It was the only way he could become a well known fighter and guard. He wanted to be along side the strongest and the weakest. To be for the against. He smiled, and then he let out a yell. He tripped and fell head first into a tree. It groaned, and the weak roots almost gave way. He sighed in relief, and climbed onto a fallen tree. He howled. "Hello! Anyone out there!!"

"I smile because no one else will" Telo
”You could’ve been The old one” ”I should’ve been The one who died” xxxxx Telo was a scrappy young, blonde wolf, running through the boundaries after the call went out. She didn't want to join whoever had made that call, claiming the free and so she wound up in the lands of Nigori. She had taken to the sky at the call, watching as many other wolves had done the same (at least those who had wings) and had seen the skies littered with much more wolves than there had ever been. Her abnormally large wings had flown her for some time until her stamina had given up on her and she landed here- Nigori, as she had been told by others. She wasn't your average wolf, and not just for the wings that were twice her size, but because unlike many wolves around here, Telo had no powers. She used force and damn, was she a strong fae.
Now, Telo wasn't scared by the howl, but now she was scared because she had smelt the scent of a familiar fae- one who had killed her pack and she ran like hell. That, in turn, caused the young Telo to go barreling into an unknown male wolf. Telo bounced back up on her paws, after having fallen to a pitiful sprawl in her collision. The thick fur on the back of her neck raised in offense as she glared at the clearly stronger, older, and bigger male wolf. "Hey, watch it mister! Do you know who I am? I'm Telo, better remember my name!" She barked, her golden eyes sparkling brightly as she announced herself. She was an unashamed wolf when she did anything. She loved others knowing who she was because one day, she planed to be a great wolf that everyone looked up to. So, she had to start somewhere, right?
She flexed her wings out, making sure that none of the feathers were bent. Finding them in line, she folded her large wings back against her body, sitting her rear into a clump of grass that wasn't wet from the marsh. Her golden eyes looked the brute up and down, cocking an eyebrow (if she had one), and flicking her ears forward to attention. "Hey, mister, what's your name? You know mine, so it's only right that I know yours!" She wuffed.

"Hey, watch it mister! Do you know who I am? I'm Telo, better remember my name!" Vincent looked round. He scowled. He was bigger than this new wolf, and stronger too. But he wasn't one to judge at first sight. She scrappy, and a stange gold color. He suddenly smiled. He had something coped up if he needed it. He shook his head and looked at her with his full yellow eyes that shone like the sun in mid summer. He walked over to her, she had her hackles up and she had collided with him and ended up in a funny sprawl over the floor. He had just fallen in his side. He looked down on her with a curious glance. "Nice to meet you, Telo." He said as he would to any other creature. His tail flicked casualy, and his ears were forward, he was standing in his proud position, the flamed paw infront of the other, curved slightly, head forward and his tail waving back and forth. He sighed at her. He hated power hungry things. The sound of small strems was the only noise except this stuborn she wolfs pants and heavy breathing.
Vincent moved slightly "I am Vincent. Vincent Valentine. I wasn't expecting such a quick to speak wolf to tackle me for a greating" He smirked to himself and circled Telo once. He sniffed her quickly. She didn't have a power? Wow. He'd never seen a powerless wolf before. I took him by suprise in an instant. He thought about what itt must be like without a power. Well, with huge wings and a stroppy attitude, he bet she never even thought about having a power. He wondered if his brother or sisters had a power to grant.
He watched the golden pile of attitude with intent eyes. The surrounding lands seemed still. Old trees scatered the place, and also, the muddy ground of the marsh seemed only to move by the streams and the small bugs that lived here with the wolves. He wondered if this she wolf was running away, or if she was a spy of the other packs. Maybe she was being chased by rapiests. Maybe not. He kicked up the dirt, along with mud and water, in the direction of Telo, but perpously missed. He wouldn't like he to fly away.

"I smile because no one else will" Telo
”You could’ve been The old one” ”I should’ve been The one who died” xxxxx Telo snorted, her body shaking with the force. But soon, she was grinning once again, her haughty smile spread across her face. Her golden tail thumped against the ground and the edges of her eyes crinkling in glee. After all, this wolf didn't seem like he would attack her... yet. But those were thoughts for another time. Her pink tongue flicked out to lick her brown nose, then the side of her maw. Her golden eyes shone with something akin to pride.
Her entire body, once relaxed and joyful, tensed as the wolf walked a circle around her, taking a wiff of her. Her eyes flashed with anger, but she soothed it out lest she make this wolf angry as well. Her fur bristled again and she whipped around to snap her jaws at him. She didn't want to bite the older wolf, but just wanted to let him know to back out of his personal space. Yet, as he spoke to her, telling her his name, she relaxed just a little. "Hmmm... That's too long. I'm gonna call you Vin!"" She spoke boldly.
Once he had stilled, she stood up and walked closer, despite the earlier anger from him invading her personal space bubble. She looked up at the larger brute and gave a grin that could blind many. "So Vin, got any friends here? I don't got any of 'em. But whatever, I'm gonna make new ones here! In fact, you're my first!" She wuffed in a ramble. Her mouth tended to work faster than her brain and she shifted her weight from paw to paw, not out of nervousness, but out of habit. Her tail wagged back and forth with such force that a passing by fly was smacked into a tree.

"Hmmm... That's too long. I'm gonna call you Vin!" Telo spoke out. Vincent cringed. He didn't like his new name. He shook his fur and sat down. The wolfs tail was wagging briskly, and he was sure it would hurt if you walked into it. He twitched his ear, one forward, one back, and nose smelling the air, his tail lay still on the floor. He padded the ground, and pressed, muddy water flowed about his paws. He looked back at Telo, she was smiling like no other and said "So Vin, got any friends here? I don't got any of 'em. But whatever, I'm gonna make new ones here! In fact, you're my first!" Vincent snorted and stood up again, moving to the other side of her. He sat again "Fo one, don't call me Vin. Vinny or Vince will do. Maybe Valen also. And I haven't known you near enough for you to call me your friend" he growled.
Vincent was actually rather annoyed with this childish wolf. She was hyper and jumped to conclusions. It wasn't the best way to start things off. His red fur was bold against Telo's odd golden fur, but he knew that meant he blended in with the swamp more than her. He let loose a huff and a sigh. He continued to pad away at the floor, the mud squelched and the stream close to his paw rushed toward the pressure of his foot. He still didn't know where everyone else was, or even if she was a spy. It could be possible, but he locked that away. Lucidity didn't need any spys. Most wolves were afraid of the black one now.He wasn't. He had no reason to. He looked to Telo again "Where is everyone else? Are they off hunting?" he asked. He rested his head on his paws and watched Telo with intrest. She looked childish. She acted childish. But maybe she wasn't so childish beneith that scrappy fur and powerless body. He tilted his head to one side. Why did she end up powerless?

"I smile because no one else will" Telo
”You could’ve been The old one” ”I should’ve been The one who died” xxxxx Telo's grin instantly faltered the second she was being scolded. Her ears folded back and her tail ceased all movement. She was used to this, but it was never any fun. She seemed to have a certain phobia of getting in trouble and yet she still liked to cause so much of it- contradictory, she knows. The light seemed to flee her golden eyes as she looked to her shuffling paws, enjoying how she was light enough that the water didn't flood over her paws.
"Sorry," She mumbled. Personally, she liked the nickname she had given him. It was something special that she could finally have to herself. Normally, anything she had she was forced to share with her brothers, or other wolves came along and stole it. So being able to have a nickname that only she called him was something she was proud to have. But if it made him angry, she would call him one of the previously mentioned nicknames. The friend thing, Telo couldn't help herself as a small whine left her maw. She hadn't had a friend since her pack had been raided and slaughtered, so actually having a decent conversation with someone other than that blasted hawk, Havik, she wanted to keep that as well. It may have seemed selfish, but not to her. Not when she hadn't had anything before.
She shrugged her shoulders as his next question, honestly. "I dunno. I haven't seen anyone... but I just got here." She mumbled. It seemed that all the spark had drained from her. She didn't want to upset the older wolf anymore. He was nice to her (nicer than most wolves had been lately), and she didn't want to loose that. She inched a bit closer to the brute, trying to convey something akin to a plea and kindness. To her, he was a friend and she would prove it.

He looked at her as she mummbled a solem sorry. He tilted his head and his ears went forward. Se seemed hurt, and maybe a little annoyed. Her ears against her head. She shuffled closer to Vincent, and he felt a little uneasy. He knew she was being friendly, but perhaps a little childish. Maybe she was having a hard time here, but whatever it was, he didn't want to be dragged into it. He felt a little more at ease knowning she too was new here. He took a deep breath and started to drink the water. He looked back up, water dripping of his chin like a waterfall.
Apatently everyone else had vanished like thin air. But they could be hiding. They could be hunting, they could be off sleeping. Watching the puppies, or ooking out for any new comers, which at this time, seemed highly unlikly. He laughed to himself and shook his head. Rexa Relenta should be happy, but wha of Isis and Breda? He pushed the thought aside and concentrated on the now. It was more important than the past of the future. He looked up and down, then back at Telo "I'm new too. When do you think someone will say hello who is actually aquantited with this place?" He asked in his nosy way. He scorned himself in his mind and for now, concentrated on making friends with this she wolf named Telo. He hummed a tunless tune to himself, his tail brushing the damp grass. The sun was beginning to be blocked out by the clouds gathering ubove them in the sky. A mist would soon settle in, and they'd have to stay put, or fear they'd get lost, or worse, leave the packland.

"I smile because no one else will" Telo
”You could’ve been The old one” ”I should’ve been The one who died” xxxxx As the older wolf dipped his head to a get a drink, Telo raised her muzzle to the sky. She let the cool winter air caress her fur like her mother, father, and brothers once had. She desperately missed her brother Voron. His name brought a pain to her chest, even though she knew that he hadn't been with the pack at the time of the raid. He had left to go on his own, leaving Telo behind to do so. She thought of her other brother whom she had loved with all of her heart- Shaiko. Where was he? Surely the large wolf that she had grown up with wasn't dead? He left, too, before the raid.
The raid brought terrible thoughts to Telo's mind. The death of her parents, the death of her brothers, the death of everyone in her pack while she had been hidden. And then she had run. This was her reason to exist; to become brave and strong- to make sure that nothing like what had happened to her ever happened to anyone else that she was near.
Vincent spoke and Telo swung her maw to look at him with golden eyes that no longer looked sad but looked determined. She shrugged once again, a smiled reappearing on her face. "Beats me, this is the first time I've ever tried to join a pack. But I'm happy that someone else is here with me! I mean you're older, so you must know how to do this, right? I have no clue what to do, so I'm glad you're here!" She quipped, and surely, this wolf's mouth had no filter as she spoke whatever came to her mind at the moment. But it was okay too, because then no one had to wonder what was going on inside that little skull of hers- she would tell you.
