Morning. And as the huntress opened her eyes, the sight of which she saw was one that she loved most. Black with lime green highlights spilled throughout their canvas like a beautiful and handsome painting, the thing she was seeing was Kerrigan. Her beloved Kerrigan. A yawn slipped past her dark lips as she drew in a breath and parted her jowls to release the hot air into her surroundings before closing her maw and sliding her tongue along her upper lip. And for a moment she simply rested, tilting her head to its right side as she leaned it upon her left paw and simply watched as her beloved slept in a peaceful manner that always put her to ease, yet made her heart melt at the same time. She loved him so much, and it felt as if they'd always been together despite the fact that they'd become mates not all that long ago.
Eventually rising to her feet the huntress then let her back arch like that of a frightened feline, letting the muscles bunch up tight before she laxed down into a standing stance. She then dipped low into a bow and stretched her spine and frontal limbs with a quiet sigh as she then stood back up yet again. She then glanced over to Kerrigan, her auricles of white satin flowing forward at attention as she watched the sleeping God contently. Sitting down beside him, she then looked back to their den entrance before lowering her maw to nuzzle at the soft tendrils of his mane and whisper "I love you, Kerry.." in his ear. That she did, and there wasn't a wolf in their lands that didn't know of just how much she adored and loved her mate.
Eventually the pale goddess then lowered herself to lay back down beside him as she swiveled her ears forward and looked outside at the fog-kissed forest in silence. She didn't feel like hunting right now, but instead lay in wait for Kerrigan to wake up, relaxing and enjoying the morning coolness as she did so.

k e r r i g a n ! IT'S HARD TO SAY I'D RATHER STAY AWAKE WHEN I'M ASLEEP CAUSE EVERYTHING IS NEVER AS IT SEEMS ______________________________ Rumbling. It made the wolf's paws rise and fall and wriggled to get away. It was pain it was sorrow it was love it was life. It was everything th wolf could never name and would try anyways to do so. It was heaven it was hell it was life and it was death. It was his mate it was his father it was the milk he fed on. At yet was it was, was not known to the wolf. It was just there, just something. Like the golden dragon ho had once met the wolf it was everything powerful, everything evil, everything good in the world. And it was something the wolf knew. Something he believed in. And that something was...!
"I love you Kerry..."
His eyes flicked beneath his lids and the large body which had previously been curled against his mate's warm side unfurled and stretched, rolling sideways so he ended up sprawled over the bedding on their shared cave. He low rumble poured from his throat and his eyes squeezed tight, trying to catch the dream again. But he could not remember nor would he be able to fall asleep. Zephora had moved away from him and she was up and no so he would be too. He finally cracked one eye, which seemed to him ages but was only a few minutes in time. This one concession to wakefulness turned into a full out yawn that had his lower jaw dropping down and his bright lime tongue unfurling. In sleep his markings glowed a dimmer color, rising and falling with his heartbeat, but it wakefulness it took on the bright glow of life.
His long tail swished back and forth over the dirt and moss, upsetting the bedding and he had a remembered thought that fresh moss and soft dirt should be brought in that day. As his jaw closed, his ears flicked back and he looked over at his love. Her coat was gorgeous, white and soft as butter. A few strands of leaves clung to her sides but it made her no less lovely in his eyes. Her wings were folded nicely and he soon let out a sigh and did as she had done moments before. Much like she had he stretched up, his tail curling over his spine as he kept that position before relaxing and then lowering his upper body to the sandy cave floor. His tongue rolled out and he gave Zephora a handsome, sleepy smile as he tail gave a double swish back and forth happily. He only kept himself this way a moment before bounding up, full of energy.
He snuffled her man with his blunt lime nose and licked her snout lovingly. "An' I you, Zephora," he rumbled adoringly. Both wolves were loving mates and the pack was proud to have two such well matched leaders. His size was great anyway, but with his mate laying down he seemed even bigger though she was near enough to his size to fit. It was cool in the cave, and pleasant and he sat with a thump, tail still flicking as he stared down at Zephora. He could hear his pack waking up, for it was still early. "I was thinkin' Zeph. A pack hunt wouldnae be a bad idea," he offered for conversation, something that had been on his mind.

Zephora's heart seemed to kick within her chest when he'd cast that handsome grin of his her way. He made her happy, and the pack was glad to have a great couple like them leading. But to be quite honest, the day that Zephora had come across Kerrigan was the best day of her life. For not only had she come across the love of her life, but she also had her best friend at her side as well, and soon... they'd both be parents. Already Zephora could feel the change within her form as their welps grew within, and the thought of bearing Kerrigan's pups and bringing new life to their pack excited her. But for the time being, Zephora slipped out of her thoughts to listen to every word Kerrigan had to say as he spoke of the pack and a hunt.
Zephora glanced down for a moment, noticing that the pack hadn't hunted as a group in a long while, then looked bak up at him with a nod. "Sounds like a wonderful idea, my love. We've not hunted as a pack for a while. And for some of us, it would be good practice." she spoke as she then lifted herself from her laying position and pushed herelf up into a seated position as she then took to grooming Kerrigan's pelt with soft laps of her tongue, nibbling here and there to loosen the knots that had formed during his night's rest before she swept her tongue over them to smooth his coat out. They couldn't have a messy pelted alpha now could they?
Once she was satisfied with the grooming job she'd done with the beautiful and charming coat of her beloved, Zephora swept her tongue softly along his maw and nuzzled his mane gently."There.. handsome as always, my love." she spoke, smiling to him then before she looked back out towards their den's entrance. The pack was starting to move about, and soon they'd have to go join them, but she'd wait for Kerrigan to lead her on out.

k e r r i g a n ! WE'RE TUMBLING DOWN, WE'RE SPIRALING DOWN TIED UP TO THE GROUND ! ______________________________ He pondered over his words. A pack hunt would be good. It was not much of a pack any longer and he was feeling the relationships frayed at the end of his mind. He had a connection with all his pack. Something he could explain to others who were not dedicated alphas. He could feel the glue that made the pack a pack - a glue he provided with his support and leadership - was failing. No pack activities was not the way to keep it together. To make them one identity. The Nigori Pack. Not just marsh wolves who lived in some semblance of order. No, he wouldn't allow for that. He shook his head, eyes dark with his thoughts. He hadn't been a very good alpha. Too caught up in Lucid, Lydia's problems, the land, worries, and Zephora. And dear Zephora. In her belly was the secret of their pack. Of just them at the moment. The future, his genes. Her genes. Each of their parts made into some other being. They were growing and nothing could stop them now.
Puppies. Kerrigan had sired offspring and he was excited. He feared as all parents fear but he worried more now with Lucid on the horizon. How sorry he was for giving them life now of all times. But when he and Zephora had decided - not after talking you understand but a decision made in the heat of passion and love - to have children, it had been peaceful. Safe. The marshland was not in turmoil. He just hoped that he could keep his pack and his offspring safe. They were his damnit! His eyed Zephora as she moved, his thoughtful stance fading as she moved under him to clean his pelt. She agreed with the idea but he paid little attention to that. He rumbled in approval and stretched a bit, allowing her to clean his pelt. The irritation of small mats were gone in seconds and he sighed, waiting for her to complete her task.
As she finished he grinned and nudged her with his nose so she would roll over. He would return the favor. And even though he pelt was smooth and glossy it was more the thought and the comfort of grooming than the actual process. His tail swished and his broad lime tongue slid over her fur and his long fangs ran through her fur. The shorter, regular canines scrapped through the small knots he found. He lapped over her ears and when he reached her stomach and placed his head there, wondering when he'd be able to feel them move. How many? he wondered. Pondered. Hoped. His lime nostrils flared as he took in his mates slightly milky scent. She would breed strong wolves, and he would be proud.
