..::Aly::..
Aly's ears dropped as soon as she heard her thoughts answered...'so he can hear me'...she thought, this wasn't too bad, it meant she could have conversations, but she was told to stay put, this didn't really sit well in her mind. Aly let out a light sigh and let herself fall lazily to the ground, murmuring softly to herself. "Can't come forward, can't go back, can't do anything" her complaints weren't directed at anyone, she was just bored beyond understanding. Then something caught her attention, she raised her head slowly and looked around, she felt something, no not felt, heard. Aly hopped to all fours and raised her head and looked around, there were three wolves in the distance, Aly squinted her eyes, she couldn't really make them out, this didn't suit her at all. A grin snuck across her face and she stepped forward slowly, making as little noise as possible until she could make out the voices, then finally she heard one that was familiar. "You." Aly whispered, staring at a white furred wolf. Aly tilted her head slightly was this the one? She'd felt a connection, for a second, but a connection none the less. Aly shook her head, no the big one told her not to do anything, and she had to listen. Aly let out a sigh of frustration and kicked a stone off, not bothering to see where it went. Aly turned her back to the wolves, she didn't want to tempt herself to get any nearer.
Aly turned her head to the big wolf again, temped to ask once more for permission to approach, but thinking it would annoy him to be asked again changed her mind. Aly hopped to her feet and walked in a circle, she was totally restless, obviously something was going on and she wanted in! She knew nothing of the lands history or of the latest turning of events but apparently something big was going on and this wolf, the big one, was the center. Aly shut her eyes, she was now close enough to hear the conversation, she felt the wind whip at her fur as she sat, motionless now, trying to focus on the voices she could now just make out.

"My monsters are far worse than yours" Ruh
”You come around When you finally face this” ”You come around When you find me faceless” xxxxx Ruh paid no heed to the words being spoken- no, thrown back and forth between the two alphas and Minou. Though he could not hear it, Ruh could practically feel the tension that went with the words spoken through minds. He could not see it, but he could feel them slide around him and out toward some other victim. Something uneasy was swimming around the air, blanketing the forest and he could hear the prey running away. They did not know why they were running, all they knew was that something was making them run. Ruh could take a guess that the thing was Lucid and the air about the monster of a wolf.
Ruh's muscles rippled forward and he lay himself to the ground, the words of Minou echoing in his ears as he did so. The chains bound to his ankles rattled slightly as he shuffled his paws to get more comfortable. He had an uncomfortable itch about not being able to know what was going on and about not being able to do anything to help. It made him feel sort of useless and he didn't like that one bit. Usually, he enjoyed feeling like he was needed and like he belonged. But not today- not with Lucid around. The older male’s presence disturbed him greatly and made him feel like he was drowning with every breath he took in. But Ruh refused to show it on his face, refused to show weakness in front of this brute who had destroyed part of the balance of life. It made Ruh’s fur bristle just a bit, his hackles rising the slightest, just the thought of taking away freedom from the free, it made the small taste of bile rise to the back of Ruh’s throat. It was just something so wrong.

Hexxus simply watched from the sidelines, his defensive steel armor shimmering in the sunlight as he stood there. The bushes he chosen for his hiding spot had kept him well hidden, but it seemed his betess was aware of his location either because she smelled him or because she could since his presence with her powers. He was aware of all the other pack members presence nearby, and the tension was defiantly in the air now as more seemed to come to the area. He stood there fairly quietly when a voice suddenly rang out over the area it was the betess basically asking everybody to sit tight and not draw any more attention.
Well he wasn't trying to draw attention to himself he just wanted to be prepared. He swished his tail eagerly as if wanting something to happen. The metal shifted sightly but seemed to make no noise except a very soft chime as his tail moved back and forth with the metal casing moving with it almost like a dragon tails scales. Mentally he was still growling, but his facial expression remained content. Calm like that of a sleeping volcano, or the calm before a very dangerous storm. He wanted action he was bored of waiting for an impending attack.
He licked his lips like he just ate something, and the metal coated within his mouth and on his teeth glinted silver slightly just like the rest of his armor coating, before he closed them. he was ready all he needed was a motive to move and defend either his alphess or any wolf that would need it.

Of course Vanya did appreciate all the courtesy from Lucid’s part, what with lowering himself to her level in order to address her properly, seeing as she was much smaller than him. She nodded her head softly in acknowledgement to his actions, which could also be considered as a brief ‘thanks’ on her part. However, if the goal of such pleasantries was to make her comfortable around him he had certainly failed miserably. There just was no way for her to be comfortable with him nearby, or in her lands for all that matters. She had even thought about personally ensuring that he would actually leave and not linger in the forest any longer than what was needed once they were done. However, as much as she disliked having him around, she still had to pay him the proper respect as a fellow Alpha, and that was expected to be reciprocated.
She listened calmly as the brute greeted Minou, though she could almost feel the hypocrite vibe flowing through his every word. It made her sick, and she would have growled at this but she didn’t want her actions to be misunderstood and start an unnecessary problem. Just judging by his previous actions, when he claimed the Kumori Plains, she could tell that this brute wasn’t nearly as nice as he was pretending to be. He had chased the loners away, and he probably had even killed the ones that didn’t manage to do it fast enough. And now he was expecting for her to be fooled by his fake friendliness like an innocent child that was lured in by kind words? That was just not going to happen. She wasn’t sure what it was; maybe intuition, or instinct, or maybe both of them, but she could clearly distinguish the deception in his words as he stated how pleased he was to have Minou here. She knew he wasn’t, after all he had requested for her other pack member to leave not too long ago; why would it be different with Minou? Vanya was no fool, and if Lucid really thought so little of her he probably would end up regretting it if he didn’t watch it.
The young Alphess remained calm the whole time though. Nothing seemed to betray her well-carved serenity. But her eyes … That was a different story. With enough time and practice she had learned to tame her fiery temper when it was needed … To a certain point. However this self-control did not apply to the expressiveness of her eyes. That was something she just couldn’t control. After all, it is said that eyes are the windows to the soul, and Vanya was a living proof of that. And so, her gaze on the brute was hard, burning with irritation and mistrust; exactly what she felt at the moment under her fake calm.
She listened quietly as Lucid spoke again. Anyone would have thought that his words were spoken merely out of concern. However Vanya could feel that he was almost implying that something as bad as what he mentioned was in fact going to happen, which certainly bothered her. What bothered her the most though was how interested he was in knowing what she had been up to lately. Whether or not she had met with the other Alphas was none of his business in her opinion. If anything, it concerned the leads of the pack in question and her own pack, and no one else. Especially not someone who stirred her mistrust as much as Lucid did. The young femme would have voiced her opinion on this aspect without any shame if it hadn’t been for Minou suddenly stepping in to say her share. While this had surprised her a bit, it didn’t bother her, and she waited for the Betess to finish with what she had to say.
If the blue femme’s actions had surprised her, her words surprised her even more. ‘Threat?’. Did this mean he had Telepathy as well? She had no way of knowing what had Lucid been up to if he did have said power, but she trusted Minou’s judgment on the matter. She turned her eyes back to the brute then, her gaze hard on him as a scowl slowly broke her neutral expression. “Do not mess with my pack members, Lucid”. Her voice was sharp as she spoke; the tone she used was used as a warning by itself. She would not tolerate him harassing his pack mates just because she was not aware of it. Her attention soon shifted as the older femme seemed to address the rest of the pack after she was done with Lucid though. As much as she would have wanted to, Vanya had no way to know what all of her pack mates had been up to until now. In fact, if it wasn’t for a soft noise in the foliage or something of the like, she couldn’t even know where they were exactly since she could not see them. She just knew they were there … Somewhere. It was in moments like these that she wished that instead of being able to use Telekinesis she could have mastered Telepathy like her Betess. But this was no time to think of such things. After all if she couldn’t see it, Minou could, and she could handle things if she was unable to, which was what had just happened.
Soon after, she heard Minou address her, using her telepathy obviously. She informed her of whatever had happened that made her react like she had before, and now everything made sense. ‘Wrong doesn’t even start to describe it … And it’s ok, you don’t need to apologize. Thank you for handling things as you have done so far though, for it would be quite impossible for me to do half what you have done here already. Don’t worry, if he hasn’t realized he isn’t welcomed here yet I’m sure he eventually will’. And of course he would, because she would make sure of it. Vanya could tell that the older femme was not fond of Lucid even before she told her so, and in all honesty, after everything that had happened lately, neither was she. But she was the Alphess, and she had to put up with it in the more diplomatic way possible; if not for her sake then for her pack’s sake. She wanted to avoid trouble for as long as possible, though with Lucid’s newly found interest in lands that were not his that would clearly be impossible to keep for too long.
Now it was time for her to answer to Lucid’s inquiry, or at least part of it, because it was clear that she was not going to unveil whether or not she had met the other Alphas so far. Instead, she shifted her attention to the second part of his speech. “While the notion of having a better understanding and unity with the other packs could certainly be helpful you shouldn’t forget that, as Alphas, our first priority should be the unity and safety of our own packs. What good is it to seek the other packs if that could potentially lead to neglect your own?”. And this was the exact reason why she hadn’t bothered on traveling to meet the other Alphas yet. She knew it would have been a good move, but she just could not bring herself to leave her pack in these dire times. They needed her support as their Alphess, especially with the constant change of leaders they had suffered lately and with Lucid’s recent course of actions; she just could not leave them. “After all it isn’t the numbers that decides a pack, or an alliance’s strength, it’s the unity of its members. The strength of the bonds between each member is what decides the strength of a group”. She paused a moment then. Her green orbs met his, and then she continued, her voice suddenly more serious than it had been before. “And of course, the strongest bonds aren’t forged through fear and intimidation, but through trust and care”.
She knew that her last statement could have been considered a blow towards Lucid, because judging by the way loners had escaped the plains after he had claimed them, she was almost sure that his actions were more related to fear and intimidation than to trust and care. In fact, this also made it clear that the unity in Lucid’s reign was quite low, or simple inexistent. She didn’t know about his pack in the mountains, but the occupants of his newly claimed lands certainly didn’t seem to be happy with their new self-imposed leader. And so, without even noticing it, she had uncovered a possible weakness to Lucid’s rule. Even if he had twice as many wolves as any other pack under his control, but if there was no unity numbers were meaningless. If every wolf acted on their own, it would be easy to take them down one by one. However, a well lead pack was expected to move as a phalanx would, everyone together, watching for the other, converting them in a huge unbreakable force; and she was sure that was own her pack worked.
She found it interesting though, how so much more was going on behind this simple talk. She knew it was only a matter of time before it turned into an open verbal challenge between them, with a masterful use of subtlety of course. Even now, it seemed that with every word exchanged many more things than what was apparent were transmitted. It was like a sword’s dance: performed naturally and with expertise, but eventually someone was bound to get cut if they didn’t watch their step.

Lucid flicked his tails idly as Minou spoke and as Vanya spoke. They had both thought I had insulted one of the members of the pack, when in fact, the female had directed her thoughts toward him in the first place. He merely flicked his tail in thought and waited for Vanya to finish her sentence before he spoke up.
"No need to get harsh. I did no such thing as to threaten one of your pack members. If anything, I just told her that she should remain back, as she originally directed her thoughts toward me, not the other way around. Forgive me if I merely told her to stay put, as I had originally requested no wolves approach while we talk. In no way did I threaten her." He flicked his tails, irritated slightly, though the emotion never left his mind. He waited patiently, sensing the very same wolf in question moving nearer, even if he had requested she stay put. Vanya began to speak once more, speaking of unity within packs, and Lucid merely nodded in response, agreeing to her statements. He also noticed how she had avoided part of what he had previously said, which amused him ever so slightly. "You're absolutely right. Unity is an important facet of a pack. Without it, we may as well all be loners, should we not? You obviously have unity within your pack, even if some may disobey your orders. The female in question earlier has moved closer in order to better hear our conversation and is now eavesdropping on our every word... I just figured you ought to know." He could see in Vanya's eyes that she was never going to trust him... and he knew he was unwelcome here, right from the start. He also knew that it would take more than just these wolves in her pack to take him down, so he remained calm as ever. "Well, its plainly obvious I'm not welcome here. Good luck with your lands." He slowly stood, stretching his limbs idly and unfurling his wings to their fullest extent. His immense size cast shadows all around him as he shook the dirt from his fur and placed his massive paws back on the ground. Flames licked around them, though none seemed to scorch the earth beneath them. He turned his gaze back to Vanya and flicked his tails, lowering his head in what was a respectful bow and whispering only so she could hear. "Note the respect I have shown to the respect I have received. I've done nothing hostile, yet your pack and even yourself hold yourselves hostile in so many ways. No disrespect, just a fact I thought I should point out." He flicked his tails once more and raised his head. To others, it would have seemed as if he was giving Vanya a respectful bow, but only Vanya could have heard what he had said. "I know when I am not welcome, and I know when idle chat is even more unwelcome, so I will leave your lands now. No harm, no fowl." He simply shrugged and stretched his wings, turning toward a small area of clearing where he could run and get a good start before leaping into the air. "Nice to meet you, Alphess Vanya. Take care of your pack, as they so strongly stand beside you. Should you wish to speak to me, simply howl at my borders and I assure you I will gladly speak with you once again." He flicked his tails and circled once, twice, before heading north toward his own lands.[/blockquote] -- Lucid has left the area --

Lanessity Squinting eyes opened merely to glimpse at the trees lining her path. But with every tree that zoomed by, Lanessity only clung tighter and shied more and more into her brothers fur. She could feel his giant muscles shifting and flexing under her little body. They were so power, so strong and so able to crush her. But yet they always stayed relaxed and at ease. They never grew tense with anger, nor did they bare sores from past fights. Just a body of complete muscle all at her will, her personal, loving shield.
The night was cold and dark as a tiny femme raced by on a stead of gray. She was shimmering and yet so awkward. Her purple fur flying by in a fury, her red, diamond socks traveling from her paws to her knees on all four legs. Her body, the body holding these odd features, was tiny and so breakable. Like a simple poke could collapse her entire body frame. But yet she had yet to be broken. From all those years of torture and pain she was still completely intact. And this intact little body was gripping so hard to her carrier below, she started to leave indents on his flesh. "s..s..sorry." she muttered. She let out a heavy, ridged breath onto his fur when a sudden gust of wond hit her face as her brother sped up. She shied once again from the air and hid in the thick parts of her brothers fur. Right as she went to turn away, she saw a small clearing in the distance. It was a crowd of wolves. She paid no head to the others and kept up her hiding but her attention was soon turned to the growing lump on her stomach. Jackle had finally kept his promise and found her, now she was in the early age of pregnancy and getting ready to face the alphess of a pack she so dearly wanted to be part of. She hated it, everything, Jackle and the lump on her stomach. But she couldn't help but admiting to herself that she wanted these pups, and as much as she knew it would endanger her, she would even leave a pack if she wasn't allowed to keep them.
Luneck His muscles flexed underneath his baby sister. The scrunched and strechted making his legs go faster and faster. He huffed and puffed a bit and tried to ignore the sharp sting his sister was putting onto him with her tiny claws. But not wanting to hurt her feelings he just waited until she noticed what she was doing. In a few seconds he heard her broken words muttereing "sorry" but only made him chuckle a bit. His voice was deep and made his chuckle more of a quiet roar, his vocals rumbling under his massive structure of muscle and bone. Luneck felt the steady heart beat of his rider and the sudden sigh of her warm breath on his back. Though normaly, if she was gripping on to someone like she was to him, they would nearly die or atleast fall very ill. But Luneck had a special immunity to it, and now with the tiny orb shimmering around his neck he couldn't even be phased by it. Almost as if he was the antidote to her, like the cure for any distruction she may cause.
Luneck heard the rattle of his golden earings in his left ear. They flopped up and down as his steady pace bounded over the earth. The trees were nothing but a blur with his teared eyes being stung by the winds that persisted on blowing in his face. Everything was a vision of green, like someone had taken so amny different shades of green paint and just splashed them on a canvas, not caring if they turned into anything. But these green vision were something, something beautifully wonderful. Like the hands of an angel painted the very trees themself.
With a tilt of his head Luneck noticed a clearing in the distance. Wolves circling around he smiled, a lovely little crowd to witness their entrance. But he was afraid, not for himself but for his sister. She was growing even weaker than normal, so much that he had to carry her on his back all the time instead of just half. She could barely walk. And she was only about a bit pregnant. He wasn' sure the details, just that some bastard hurt his little sister. And there was nothing he could do about it.

Hexxus's attention was quickly drawn to the sound of footsteps, the scent was that of a male and a female with another mixed scent of another male but it was no presant. His shimmering armor shifted slightly as he stood up, before making his way slowly from his hinding place his tail swishing earatibly from all the antisipation and then nothing happining only when he felt the true danger had passed. However also on the wind he smelled somthing else it was of different emotions of anger, sadness, pain, and urgency.
They seemed to be approching the boarders moving at a quick pace, he quickly moved into a trot to go greete them but stopped himself. "Alphess it seems there are others about along the borders not just our pack? But these wolves seem upset, and one injured" The armor glistened slightly as he turned to the side eatch plate seemed to move individually with another as his body moved and they made minimal noise as his tail flicked back and forth. Only a weak chime was emmitted as eatch plate touched another "Would you like me to intercept them? or wait for them to come to us?" He didnt know the exact situation with the two unknown wolves but from what he picked up on the wind they both were not in good condition. Hexxus waited calmy for an answer, if was we going to meet them he would have to do it quickly before they reached the borders.
Hexxus also feared for whoever was injured, wondering how badly the one was hurt. He hoped the injurys wernt life threatining or to serious.
