Nicknames: Gatz or Gat
Age: 5
Gender: Male
Desired Pack: Nigori Marshlands
Desired Rank: Gamma
Looks:
Gatzke is shorter than your average male wolf but larger than your average female. What he lacks in height he makes up for in weight. He is a thick muscled creature, having thick legs and toned muscle elsewhere. He is not extremely bulky and ripped but rather more muscled than a regular john doe male. He has large paws that are more width than length; he has very little stubs for nails attached to them, and are often hidden by his fur. His tail is has a slight bow to the right, making it uncomfortable to try and tuck it beneath his bell for submission purposes. He doesn’t know how it became this way but he suspects he’s had it from birth. He always thought of it as a sign he was meant to truly bow to no one. On his hind paws, two of his digits have a high web on them, binding them together keeping their span leased, it can sometimes affect his agility on rocky terrain; subsequently it also makes him a very powerful swimmer. Gatzke has two deep and wide scars on his left front leg close to the first bend, and one long scar going diagonal on his belly; all of these have been from fights in the past. He has many other smaller scars, but none as noticeable.
Should he part his mouth you’d notice that he seems to be missing his left top k-9, shuld you look at him you'd guess he lost it in a battle, but in actuality it has never really grown in. Should you get a close enough look at his mouth (good luck) you could see the very tip of it starting to protrude from his gums; for some reason it never fully came in, but he has high hopes for it. Along his neck is a loosely tight metal chain, something he had once requested a metal bender make for him. To him, it's a constant reminder to hold himself back.
Gatzke’s pelt is that of African wild dogs. It’s general length and texture is that of a wolf’s but the coloring is that of the dogs. The colors consist of black, golden-tan, and white. All of these colors seem to be just splotched on his body with no rhyme or reason. It was like someone took these colors and just threw blobs at a blank canvas. He is, however, predominantly black on his face and along his spine area, fading down into the splotches from there. His ears are a mix of the black and gold-tan, with a hooked white shape on his right ear. He has light brown eyes than stand out against his mostly black face.
[/blockquote]Power:
Air Bender-Gatzke has the power to control the stream of air; yes the air we live from and breath. He can increase and direct the stream of air on a large scale to increase the rate at which clouds travel and blow them away from the sky and make it sunny, likewise he can bring them together to create shade or provoke the chances for rain. Like he can control all wind, he can moderate the speeds of the air directly around him and focus it into one controlled stream of a gust. He can knock a wolf yards from their standing spot if hit directly, or just make it so windy around them it’s hard to walk in that direction. His power can also be used in a defensive manor. He can create a sphere, a bubble like cocoon of a thin stream of moving air at break-neck speeds around him, like a force field. It would be near to impossible to get through this barrier by physical means including fireballs, slashing at it, lightning strikes, you name it, but his one weakness is it’s hard for him to concentrate when he’s thrown off balance. The field could just fall. He can get very mentally and physically fatigued after using his power for extended periods of time, and even shorter of a time depending on how big of a move he’s trying to make with it. If caught in one of these situations, when he gets drained from his powers, he can and will black out. That’s something that has made him lose several battles before when facing someone who is an equal match to him. He’s gotten to know his skill pretty well over the past 5 years though. It’s hard to get past this guy unless you match him.[/blockquote]Eyes:
His eyes are a light brown with no specs, lines, or streaks; a perfectly clear window to his soul.[/blockquote]Wings:
None[/blockquote]Personality:
Gatzke is a males male. He is powerful physically and is quick with his mind to make things work to his advantage. He is very respectful to those of higher rank and age and will try hard not to come into confrontation with them. With those who are younger, arrogant, and out of their place he will be quick to set straight. He is known in his past to be quick to be violent with males. Males who think they are better than him or try to push him will meet their fate with him soon after. Anyone who steps out of line around him had better be prepared for the consequences, unless you’re female of course, then he would only try and talk to you respectfully about it. He is not one who is scared of anyone with a bigger attitude or stature than him, and will jump onto the chance to knock them back into place, even if ‘them’ is a whole group of wolves. Don’t get him wrong though, he isn’t one to go looking for fights, at least not anymore. He prefers peace to violence, and will try his hardest to keep things verbal instead of physical, but sometimes that animal instinct in him very much overwhelms the civil side. He is very much an animal in his big heart.[/blockquote]History:
He is very strong with his beliefs. He won’t fight with you about yours, but should anyone fight him about his, he will just dismiss you. He loves the ladies, and believes all of them are special and deserves the best. Unfortunately he is very awkward with them though. Often making bad jokes and coming on too strong. He really tries but just doesn’t know how to hook one and make them like him past his shell. He is a hopeless romantic who has been lonely most of his life, females just seeing him with too much baggage, or just too awkward at the start of their introduction, but once one gets to know him, she would be the most spoiled fae in all the land. He has a big heart and a lot of love to give if one just gave him a chance. He is a good looking wolf; he just doesn’t know how to act like one.
He is a male of small intense words; so he’ll just answer your question and try to bring his humor into it after he’s comfortable. He has a great sense of humor, but like his attempts with the opposite gender, they tend to fall flat. He is self conscious on the inside, and will try hard to meet a certain quota for a loved one and himself. To hide his flaws with females, humor, and his past, he acts tough and can even become kind of mean with his humor. He tries to have a tough disposition when meeting new wolves; he likes to make it known he’s not one to fuck with and this ties into his awkwardness. Instead of having others see him as awkward and as a whimp for his big heart; he tries to give a persona that fronts that. He’d rather be seen as someone to be feared than as someone to be looked down upon or joked at. He is the kind of wolf however, once you get past the formalities and he trusts you, it can be hard to get him worked up against you. Once you are his friend, it's hard to make an enemy, and you'll see the real Gatzke from then on.
Gatzke grew up in a place far away from here, across the great seas where it’s warm all year round. The seasons are dry and wet, with very little in between. His pelt grew short because of his, but only moderately shorter than your average wolfs who’s got a summer and winter coat. When he was young he roughed and tumbled with his two siblings, his sister Char and his brother Garth. Gat was always going to extremes though; having a personality that naturally got him into trouble he was always crossing the line. He did things his parents told him not too, picking fights with his siblings and them for no reason but to be a little rebel. One day, when he was still pretty young he and his brother did something brutal to get themselves exiled from the family. They left their parents heartbroken, and their sister hurt and tattered. So they left, young and scared of the big world. Together they lived off the loner lands, being raised by other loners until they were old enough to travel and take care of each other. Some time had gone by and they went back to their family. Their family accepted them back; they had been so young, just rough and tumble boys and they were deeply sorry for playing too rough with their small sister. Their parents and sister forgave them and offered them back with a forgiving grace. The brothers declined and decided they were old enough to part ways, so they did with heavy hearts of duty. They set off, traveling around the coast of the great sea through a barren desert land. They rarely came across another wolf on their travel through that area, and when they did they killed them for the meat and kept on their way with only each other as company. You’d think only having each other would have made them close, but as they grew older, their personalities spilt. They did get along, but just didn’t enjoy each other’s company much. They knew they needed each other, so they kept together until they came to a new land; one with lush green fields and a mass of different environments. Gatzke and Garth split ways there. Garth going south, down to where the seasons were still dry and wet, and Gatzke going to the north, where he felt his fate was mapped.
He came across many packs the north way. Many of them provoked him the wrong way or vice versa and he’d end up getting himself kicked out. He came across many fights with others that he felt were arrogant and dim witted and needed to be put back in their place. Because of this he was often run out by their whole pack for hurting a member. A few times he had found a group of wolves you could hardly call a pack and he’d run with them. Their numbers small enough to where he was comfortable just being his open dorky self and running with them. In these packs he’d often be the dirty one, picking fights with others outside the group and getting the whole group into a brawl. Eventually they all got sick of his run-a-muckery attitude and left him. Sometimes he’d come across a group of wolves like himself, who liked to run amuck and cause trouble amongst the peace. With them he had a lot of fun causing fear and destruction to others daily lives, he felt it made others fear and respect him for it. He was really out of place during these times as it went against his deep nature to be caring and helpful, but it made him feel like he was worth something. Like he was a part of something, and he couldn’t stand to be alone anymore. Wolves are pack creatures, and he needed a social life to keep him sane. It was a path of destruction and self destruction to be running with these wolves who only enticed his cruel and self-indulgent behavior. After years of mayhem and living on the edge being part of a pack of rebels, he left. He was sick of ignoring his inner longing to love and be loved instead of being just another one of the killers.
So he left and kept traveling north. After a while he came across the Vascou pack, and he attempted to change his attitude there. He worked on becoming more open, and less aggressive with everything, but the past years of violence kept him wary of himself every day. Within the Vascou pack, he met a female named Cenra that he fell in love with. She was a beautiful little thing with an open mind and heart. She saw past his awkwardness and became a good friend of his. She was almost in love with him when another male came into the picture and decided he wanted to court her too. This made Gatzke really angry, but he attempted to control himself, for her sake. As they courted Cen like it was a war of wits, she ended up falling for the other brute instead of him. He was devastated at the loss; he had been so close to living his dream. His dream of being truly accepted for the wolf that he was, and having someone to give all of his heart and love to… it was all gone. All mashed there right in front of his eyes. …..Well not if he could help it. One night he snuck into their den and stood over the sleeping male who took his beloved. His lips twisted and curled, and with one burst of energy from this third eye, Gatzke pushed an incredible wind into the home wreckers face, and buried it with force into the ground. He didn’t want to kill him, he only wanted Cenra to look upon that face and think of him. The brute never looked the same again; the skin was torn from the right side of his face, his jaw very visibly broken with that eye missing. Gat always suspected it got pushed in, disconnected to a point of unreusable, so he just got rid of it. The male had been a long time member of the Vascou pack, and they immediately ran him out. Gatzke never looked back to see Cenra. He knew he could never look back.
It was time for a real change this time… he was ready. This is it. His Lurid Destiny.
