Keith glanced behind her towards her sweet love Haven, he still slept quite contently and she had no wish to wake him. With a light flick of her tail she slowly padded her way towards the alpha den peering in slyly to glance at Cinder and Zephyr whom still slept soundly beside each other. Good she thought as she crept right by the entrance on gentle paws. The last thing she wanted was for them to wake will she was oh so quietly sneaking away. A malicious but not very noticeable snarl escaped her maw as she pulled herself into a swift jog, glancing over her shoulder every now and then while constantly searching the air for an improper scent. She couldn’t afford for anyone to follow her, not the alpha’s not riptide and most of all not Haven.
The waterfalls far behind her kei lost her gentle footing pounding the earth and soaring through the trees, each step she took put even more distance between her and the oblivious wolves behind her. There was something licking gently at the inside of her mind. Whispering, mocking her. Keith snarled again before let out an agonized growl. She was used to this odd voice in her head that lulled her to the faint heartbeat so close to the alphas borders. “try and catch me” she snickered throwing the offer to the fates. She slid to a halt. Her paws touching the invisible line that showed the edge of her packs borders. No wolf could hold her, no she was leaving. And she was leaving now.
Keith took a deep breath as her paw found its mark outside her home borders. Yet something made her turn her head, she had to leave yet something seemed to be calling her home. Calling her towards the wolves. “Haven, Riptide” she whispered meekly. “Goodbye” with that said she crossed the line and she kept going.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
She had been lying there for some time, the sun setting on the horizon. The alphas would be searching now, looking for her. Maybe that’s what she wanted? To be missed? Kei shook the thought from her head before resting it on her fire red paws. She was getting drowsy but she would be easily spotted if she slept here, especially because both her pelt and eyes glowed brighter than anything in the area. Maybe they have already given up she thought. Maybe im free… a smile caressed her soft features. She didn’t know why she ran… she couldn’t take it any more. To many wolves, to many faces she hardly knew staring at her, judging her.
Keith pulled herself to her feet, the soft scent of fire growing stronger. From within her body two large red wings unfolded, composed of flames they drew attention so with a grimace she pulled them in slightly. Only big enough to support her weight. Her eyes glowed as she stared up at the welcoming night sky. “I will join you” she giggled staring towards the stars. She braced herself, lifting her weight to her back legs preparing to take flight. Wings high, teeth bared in an unmistakable grin. Ready for flight.
(lets have some mischeif shall we? xP)

Masina often lay awake at night, sitting out among the lands upon her perch by the waters edge, listening to the serene waterfall gracefully make its way, plunging much like her spirits, over the edge of the cliff into the chilling waters below. She sighed to herself, raising her head slightly as her white form rested gently upon the boulder that she called her own, though in all reality, it belonged to the pack and to the lands... she just often perched upon it, contemplating and thinking about the stir that the lands were whispering about. She knew it had to do with her brother, and that thought alone was enough to keep her up at night.
Jumping slightly, she felt as if she wasn't entirely alone this night, and she nervously looked around, half expecting her brother to leap out from the shadows and finish the job he had started so long ago. She shivered slightly at the very thought, but was relieved to find it was just a pack mate whom she hadn't really had the chance to get acquainted with, but she figured now would be better than never. Not to mention, she was intrigued by the behavior of this female. She seemed to be acting as if she didn't want to get caught or followed, but Masina couldn't figure out why. She had taken a liking to her nephew, Haven, so why would she be leaving? This concerned her, and was why she quietly followed the female, watching her and wondering to herself why this might be going on.
Masina followed at a distance, keeping pace at a safe distance in order to watch the female as she moved her way closer and closer to the edge of the lands. She wouldn't read her mind... that wasn't nice or right for Masina to do... and she generally didn't read minds unless it was a matter of importance and life or death... so instead, she followed silently, her thoughts and ideas keeping her mind alert and active, driving her forward to keep tailing the female, if not for her, then for the pack and especially for Haven.
The pack lands were not small by any means, but it seemed as if it was no time before they had made it to the edge of the lands. Masina sighed to herself and decided to let her presence be known, just as the female began to take a pawstep over the border. She cleared her throat and stepped from the shadows, her form like a ghost in the night scene. Her golden wings were folded gently to her sides, though the moonlight caught glimpses of the feathers, causing them to sheen in a metallic manner, much like with each of her movements, the golden markings upon her fur did the same. Her ice blue eyes searched the female before her, a look of questioning upon her face.
"Are you leaving us, Keith? Leaving Haven?" [/b] She tilted her head to the side in questioning as she looked at the female before her in silence, save the few words she had just spoken. If the female were to continue outside the lands, and show any interest in responding to Masina, Masina would follow, if only to get to the reason behind why she would be leaving behind her new pack so soon, especially after becoming mates with Masina's nephew, Haven.[/blockquote] ((Masina would have followed off the lands with her, if only to figure out why she left Haven behind... Probably meeting her either before she left the lands at the border or when she decided she wanted to take to the skies... your choice?))

Keith was startled by the wolf before her, she hadn’t notice the scent in the air nor the shadowed form following her for so long. Kei supposed it was an obvious conclusion to her not so subtle escape. What wolf wouldn’t notice the huge red lump tiptoeing her way past the alpha den hmm? Kei sighed at the Fae’s words. Yes it was true, she was leaving but not for the reason she was sure played upon the wolfs mind. It wasn’t her fault nor the alphas, kei didn’t belong here and Haven did not belong by her side.
“I don’t know” the words rolled from her tongue but seemed to become distorted as they left her jaws. She almost choked as she blurted them forward quickly followed by a blundered excuse. “I wasn’t leaving, just, just this way I… lost see then” she sighed, she must have looked like a right royal fool stuttering and blabbering the way she was. Why was she anyway this was one wolf, a foolish wolf following a fire child out over the packland borders.
“why are you following me” she spoke clearly and firmly, her bright eyes burning fiercely into the betess’s blue orbs. Kei didn’t wait for an answer instead she turned her fiery behind to the wolf whom she hardly knew. No matter, surely she wasn’t foolish enough to follow. Kei padded her way away at an incredible speed, daring the wolf to continue her childish pursuit.
Kei walked quickly, the wolf far behind her as she checked the air often. Soon her scent was simply a gentle linger upon her delicate pelt. She spotted the gnarled roots of an old tree and decided to rest awhile. If the wolf was following than this would give her ample time to catch up, if not. Well good for her. Unfortunately just as Keith decided to take to the skies there she was. Annoyingly staring right towards her.
Kei sighed again then with a slight snarl dropped her front paws back to the earth. “so you are still stalking me I take it. Keith’s eyes narrowed dangerously. This would take some concentration. Kei knew by the why the Betess stood that she would not be scared easily. Very well.
Smoke began to rise gently from the earth, not enough to draw attention as it dissipated quickly. “turn now, or I will kill you” this was no threat, Kei was a killer, she had done it before. She remembered that and although it was still a haze she was sure a lovely blood bath would jolt her memory. A malicious snarl escaped her maw, teeth bared in a horrid gesture. Flames had started to lick gently up her legs and her eyes dripped red, whatever fell dried to grey falling into small rock like forms.
“this my friend is your very last warning”

A whisper of a scent passed his nostrils as they left the den area. HIs nose twitched, ear flicking away as it would flick away a buzzing fly. Something was amiss. His eyes opened sleepily, blinking the sleep from them with a few, rapid blinks. He yawned then, widely, his jaws creaking, light pink tongue lolling out before he clamped his muzzle shut again. Now he was awake.
He rose quietly, not willing to wake Cindershock up for he may have noticed something stupid, like a small shadow passing over their den, but the scent he noticed was new, yet known to him already. The burning female wolf who's passionate fire had set Haven's young heart ablaze. Keith. Giving one last quick lok to his darling mate, he slunk away, following the scent.
Yet now a new scent passed by his sensitive muzzle. Masina's fragrance immeditly set alarm bells ringing. Obviously she must have noticed Keith as well. He followed, silently, but not quickly, he did not want to frighten the faes, he merely wished to know where they were going at such an hour, and so sneakily.
He jarred to a halt as Masina finally caught up with fiery Keith, her blazing pelt easy to see a mile away; she could not be stealthy in a place as quiet and simple as this at night. They exhanged a few brief words, thn Keith ran again. Griting his teeth and quickening his pace, Zephyr used his wings a little to hover above the ground, urging his speed on until they stopped again.
Now the topic of conversation moved to Haven. Silently, Zephyr winced at Keith's answer, so avoiding upon the subject of Haven. Why was she leaving? The something Keith said flared a fire within his own heart, and furrowed his brow with short rage. She threatened Masina, She..threatened Masina. He growled, low and short, and finally stepped into view, stalking forwards slowly, until he stood between the two faes.
"Going somewhere Keith?" He remarked as he moved, tail lashing the ground angrily. She may be a member of his pack, but she seemed ready enough to leave it and she was also still a new member. Masina was loyal and faithful to the pack and her life was also of great importance to him.
"I'm afraid I shall have to stand between you two. You will never threaten one of my pack members, and a fellow pack member to yourself, especially a Beta Female who is above rank to you. I shall ask once more, before I am forced to do something drastic, as you have made it clear your intentions are...less than honourable. Where are you going?" He asked, his eyes glaring, voice forced to remain calm, though it was clear he was on the brink of rage.
