The sun reflected vibrantly off of Channing's golden fur and pure white angel wings. Even though he was so egotystical, he had a bit of a reason for it. He really was a beautiful wolf, angelic in almost everyway. Now however, he didn't much think about himself as he used to. As most would know, it was all about him and how he thought of himself and how he carried himself higher than others. Now though, he had another wolf on his mind. A beautiful fae, actually. Which for those who knew Channing, they'd think he were going crazy.
Standing on one of the higher peaks of the mountainous region, he looked over the lands with his piercing ice blue eyes. It had been quite some time since he had seen the fae that was always on his mind. There was no female that had ever had him this tied up. No female was ever worth it to him... he felt as though he were mentally bonded to her though. She was far more gorgeous than he or any wolf he had seen. The egotystical bastard was falling.
There was movement by the dens, which was usual for this time of day. Most would be waking up and looked for breakfast. Channing had been up all morning, cleaning and making sure the den was in tip-top shape. Another abnormality for the stupid brute. Lowering his body to the ground, Channing rested his head on his front legs as his paws dangled over the cliff. He extended his wings, allowing them to soak up the sun. He really needed to talk to someone... Bella, actually. Sighing in a mental discomfort, he spoke in a soft yet husky voice, "Bella... where'd you go?"

Carabella woke with a start, her dreams haunting her yet again. Ever since the new brute had joined the pack she would have nightmares that Zenw ould murder them all, just as he said he would. She shudderd and stretched, her rump in the air, and her chest on the ground.
The fae looked around the den area, everyone was still asleep. Her eyes wandered to that one special spot, close to her own, where Channing slept, only to find it empty. Her eyes widend, 'Where is the egotistical brute, doesn't he need his beuaty sleep?' She giggled to herself, glad no one could read her thoughts at the time.
She walked cautiously, and as quietly as she possibly could out of the den, she didn't want to wake anyone. Her mind wanted some time alone, or with Channing if she could find him. Bella stepped out into the sun, its rays glinting of her wings, that matched her eyes perfectly. The odd blues and greens, that would normally not look good together, looked amazing at the present time.
Her wings stretched to their full length, a whopping 5 feet, and then she ran and took off into the cool morning air. She swooped above the trees, and marveled at how she could see everything from up here. She could see the border, still tinted red with the blood from Zens last meal, the springs where she met him, and the spot where she first caught a glimps of Channing.
She smiled to herself goofily and listened out for his thoughts, her eyes closed in concentration, though she knew that was a bad idea. She heard a whisper of them, something about her. She blushed under her dark fur, thankful no one was around to see it.
She flew closer to where she had heard him and landed behind him, hearing him say 'Bella...where'd you go?' She smiled softly, "Right here," she said, hoping to surprise him. Reason for Editing: Had to dye hair =]

With his bright blue eyes slowly closing, Channing began to doze off. His thoughts upon Bella. He was so wrapped around her paw it was pathetic... and he very well knew it. The thing was, he didn't care. He could care less what others thought about how he felt toward her. She was gorgeous and he was there to make her see it in herself. He let out a soft sigh, almost a yawn, in his dozed state.
"Right here."
Channing head popped right off his legs as music rang through his ears. His ice blue gaze fell upon the beauty behind him and a very handsome smile fell upon his maw. It took less than a second for him to be on his paws gracefully. "I didn't feel you coming, Gorgeous." He turned toward her, a special glitter to his eyes. It was odd, he really didn't feel her coming. He usually senced her selfcontious feelings before he was within seeing distance of her. It was probably just because he hadn't been paying attention to his surrowndings. Bad wolf.
Lowering his head, he bowed sweetly in front of her, taking in her beautiful scent. She had this earthy scent to her that made him melt everytime his lungs caressed it. Lifting his gorgeous head toward her's, he brushed his nose against her's briefly, both in a caring manner and in a teasing one. "You look beautiful today, Carabella." He allowed her name to roll off his tongue like thick honey.
Her worried feelings hit him softly as he looked into her gorgeous eyes. "What's wrong, love? Is all not fair with you?" He cocked one brow awaiting her response. Anyone who made Bella upset would find their ass handed to them on a silver platter if he had anything to do with it. Swallowing back his protective tendencies toward the fae, his own eyes filled with a bit of worry for her. She was rather distressed the previous nights that he had spent in the den with her. He had the slight feeling that she knew something that he didn't.

Carabella looked down to her claws, that matched her eyes, and wings, sef conciously. She never did like being in the presence of Channing, no matter how much she enjoyed his company, because he was just so much better looking then herself. She felt so small and ugly in comparison. She glanced up once or twice to see his gorgous eyes.
She giggled at his surprise, just what she was going for. The satisfied smile that spread across her face was wide. Her head tilted to the side, in a mocking way, "Why hello there Channing." She rolled her eyes at him calling her gourgous once again, "I thought we were over the nickname thing?" She hated it when he calle dher that, because she knew it would never be true.
"Thats because you weren't paying attention. You have to be careful.." She trailed off thinking of Zen, her eyes were troubled she knew Channign could see that, he could probably sense her uncertainty over the brute as well. When he bowed to her and breathed in her face heated up in a tell tale blush, though her fur was dark, she was sure that he could see it, for it was so bright.
As his nose pressed against hers her blush brightend even more. Her tongue darted out on it's own accord and licked his cheek. "AS you always do," she tried to sound cool and collected, when her heart resembled that of a rabbits. "Channing" she said his name as quietly as she could, she loved the sound of her name rolling off his tongue.
She felt confortable with him, she felt as if she could tell him anything, so when he sked her what was wrong she revealed her reasons. "The new wolf Zen...I met him first, he murdered another wolf, and Tola just allowed him into the pack, I'm afraid he is planning something, something bad.. I don't know what it is, and I don't know why. When I try to read his thoughts, something in me feels wrong, I've never felt like that when I read someones thoughts before, I don't get it." Her eyes, upset and sad, stared into his own, hoping, no needing him to understand.

Channing grinned cutely at Bella as she spoke. He felt her glee at his surprise. His stomach did a couple flips at the sound of her voice. He chuckled softly at her last statement. "Now, now, it wasn't a nickname, I was just stating a well known fact. You are gorgeous." His voice dropped down to just above a whisper, "Very, very, gorgeous." He winked cooly, a grin falling onto his maw. If it was the last thing he did, he was going to make damn sure that Bella knew full well that she was beautiful.
He watched her intently, feeling her uncertainty and seeing her bright blush. "I love seeing you blush.... The only reason I keep myself looking handsome is for you, love." His voice was smooth and sweet sounding as he spoke to her. He couldnt' keep his eyes off of her... and when she had whispered his name, he sat in front of her and grinned in a puppy like manner.
When Bella began to explain why she was feeling so off, Channing frowned as he listened. So this new wolf... Zen, was it? He hadn't met the brute... but by the sound of it, he didn't really want to. Why the hell would Tola let a killer into the pack? What was going on in that fae's mind? Knowing that she needed him to understand, and knowing full well that he did, Channing nuzzled her neck affectionately and kissed her cheek softly. "Oh, Bella, I'm so sorry. The reason you feel wrong about reading his thoughts is probably because what he is thinking is wrong. You have an excellant judge of character... I believe you when you say something is wrong with that brute." And he was being completely honest about it. There was only one thing that he disagreed with her about, and that was how she felt about herself. He was working on that one though.
"Listen, Carabella, I want you to stay away from him, alright? By the sound of him, he isn't good news, and I don't want you hurt. I couldn't hold myself together if something happened to you." Once again, he was being completely honest. He was attached to her, what could he say?

OOC- I always spell gorgeous wrong, in every post Dang...
She looked into his icey blue eyes, with her own, multicolored ones shining. Truthfully, she was beginning to like being called gorgeous, made her feel special, but there still was that nagging, dominate part of her brain that told her she would never be gorgeous. A sigh feel from her lips, and she looked to the ground. "Don't I wish it..." She said quietly, so only she could hear, or so she hoped.
Her blush deepened at his words, almost in a reaction to him saying he liked it, her body did it for him. Suddenly her claws became very interesting and she stared at them intently trying to control herself. "You know thats not true" She said, he would never be unhandsome, if that was a word, he didn't even need to try, he just...was. If that made any sense. She padded closer to him and brushed her face against his shoulder, teasing him, before prancing a few feet away with her tail high in the air.
She grinned.
As she told her story, she could see the frown on his face, and yes he was right, Why the hell would Tola let in a killer. That was exactly what she had been thinking for the past few nights, as her nightmares plagued her sleep. She hadn't been sleeping well because of them, and she knew it showed.
"I plan on it," she said back to him, shuddering, even seeing Zen in broad daylight around all the other wolves, made her scared. She never wanted to be near him. Bella sat on the ground where she had pranced to after nuzzling his shoulder. Her feelings were something she couldn't explain, she was beginning to feel things other than friendship towards Channing. Though she knew Channing could never like her like that, she couldn't smother them.
Carabella was falling for the gorgeous wolf, and she was afraid of her feelings .

Channing grinned, flashing his white canines in her direction. She had no idea how pretty she really was.... Sighing softly, he pulled from her emotions and shot back a confident feeling toward her. That was is, she just needed to be more confident in herself. Nodding his head slightly, he brushed her paw with his long tail as he sat down in front of her. Her blushing cheeks made him smirk lightly. He really did love when she blushed. It wasn't a egotystical thing, knowing that he could make another fae blush, it actually made his stomach do a few flips with their many butterflies flying about in it.
Channing narrowed his brow when Bella teased him slightly, brushing her head against his shoulder, before prancing away with her tail in the air. He shook his head and chuckled, his laugh fun and low. Jumping up, he bolted forward, grabbing her with his paws and rolling over so he was on his back and her on top of him. Yes, Channing just rolled in dirt for her. Where was the world going to!? Grinning, he brushed his nose against her's, giving it a playful lick. "As long as you're safe, I'll be happy." His enticing blue eyes stared deeply into her gorgeous blue-ish green ones.
He held her tightly to him, his white wings spread wide on either side of him. "You, Gorgeous, need to smile for me. I don't like this feeling I'm getting from you. It's making me want to frown." He mock frowned at her, batting his eyelashes at her. He pressed his nose to her's again, before kissing her in a 'more than a friend' kind of way. Sighing contently as he brushed his large paw across her dark fur, "I really like you, Bella." Channing looked up at her with heavily lidded eyes. The look on his face was content and happy.

Bella looked at him as he grinned and a wave of uncertain butterflies flew through to her stomach, and she was sure her blood pressure went up quite a bit. Her lip found it's way into her mouth as her head tilted to the side and she stared at him through her eyelashes. Her eyes began to dry out and she blinked breaking the spell, and she tore her eyes from his own captivationg ones. She looked down at her paws again, and then his tail came into veiw, and her gaze was once again ripped into his and she was trapped once more.
As she teased him she could see his eyes narrow and knew he was planning on jumping on her, she stood still for it, because she didn't care. When he did she braced herself, but surprisingly he took the dirt, and the brunt of his tackle. She leaned closer to his chest and gave it a swift lick, before smiling sweetly at him. She lay her head down on his chest, and blushed when he licked her nose. She snuggled her head closwer down into his thick chest fur, and inhaled deeply bringing in his sweet and masculine scent.
"I'll always be safe with you," the fae said boldly. She felt his grip tighten around her and she sighed contendly, she responed to his words with a larged grin, a earth shattering grin. Probably the happiest grin she had let loose ina very long time. As his long eyelashes batted up at her she was sure he could feel her heart beat speed up to that of a scared rabbit, running from it's hunter.
And then the unexpected, happend. A one in a 309302947934579084750934759304590287 million chance to her, he kissed her, in a "more than friendly way" and she liked it. A lot. HIs paw brushed against her fur, and she shuddered in a good way. "I really, really like you too," she siad looking down into his chest fur.

That grin of her's totally knocked him senceless. He was pretty much struck stupid as she smiled down at him. His heart stopped, allowing him to feel her heart race enough for the both of them. Channing nodded his head after he gained his compossure back, "You better believe you'll always be safe with me. I wouldn't let anything hurt you." He looked at her with complete compassion in his bright blue eyes. She was gorgeous as he looked up at her, loving the feeling of her resting against him.
Channing grinned vibrantly at the feeling of shock that pushed off of her when he kissed her. He continued to brush his paw against her dark fur when she spoke to him. There was a slight pause in his rhythmic brushing when he caught what she had said. He ran his paw under her maw and pushed it up so he could look into her eyes, "Look at me, Bella." His voice was slightly off, quivering almost. It was low and whispered. "Don't be afraid." Channing kissed her again, with passion.
The butterflies in his belly were fluttering like they were on speed. He had never wanted to settle down before... until now. Bella brought out something in him that no one else could. Hell, he was nicer and a lot less egotystical. He thought about her all the time, unless he were out hunting, then he was thinking about finding the best meat for her. He let his head roll to the side as he thought about it. He would seriously do anything for her, anything.
His eyes held a special glint to them. Glancing up at Bella, Channing swallowed roughly, "Do you really like me, Bella, love?" There was no doubt in his mind that he liked her... hell, he was falling in love with her, and had been since he first laid eyes on her. He just didn't want to put himself in a possition that he had put so many femmes in before. He knew for sure that Bella had his heart in her paws though. She could crush him any time she wanted.

Carabella giggled when his heart stopped, it made her feel beautiful for once when he responded to her like that. She cuddled back into him, and hoped he didn't mind, she also hoped she wasn't crushing him. Her eyes closed in content and she sighed happily. "Of course," she smiled sweeyly at him.
Bella couldn't help but smile back at him as he smiled at her, her heart fluttered like a moths wings. She pressed her side into his paw, because his paw felt so good on her fur. His paw ran under her jaw, and lifted her gaze to his own icy blue one. His voice seemed...well not right, way different then his normal cool, calm, and collected voice.
She kissed him back this time, "Never..." she whispered back to him, and it was true, she wasn't scared, and she doubted she ever would be.
Bella couldn't help but think about her past as she lay on her Channing, look at that, she was already calling him 'Her Channing' that made her smile. But anyway back to what she couldn't help thinking, Bella couldn't help thinking about her past, how the other pups would tease her, how she was ugly, fat, and she would never find a mate. After all these years she still thought of that, it still haunted her, and it still would, even now as she proved them wrong, someone did want her. Someone gorgeous himself.
She answered his question, "Yes Channing, I really do." And the fae meant it with all her heart. Now that she thought about it though, she was lying to him, she didn't like him... she loved him. No, she wasn't 'falling' in love with him, she already was, she had been, for a long time. She was completly and unchangeably in love with this brute.

There was bright grin on Channing's maw as she kissed him back and whispered, 'never' to him. He was going to protect her with every fiber of his being. She should never feel scared again. Ever. He continued to brush his paw along her fur, loving the feeling of her pressed against him. She was the perfect size, laying on him. She was just heavy enough for him to feel her presence upon his stomach and chest. It wasn't overwhelming in the least bit. He licked her cheek sweetly.
There was a little off emotion that he was feeling from her. He could feel her compassion for him, but she seemed reluctant.. as though she couldn't believe it was happening. Frowing slightly, he pressed his nose to her's and smiled. "What are you thinking about?" He cocked his head to the side, continuing to rub her back and sides with his paws.
Her next comment made his heart swell with love. It truly was love... he felt it from her.... Unlike the other faes he'd ever been with... that was all lust.... This was pure undiluted love. His face grew serious as he opened his maw to speak. His voice was low, but filled with anticipation, "Then be my mate, my nalla." Not only had he just asked her to be his mate, but he had called her nalla... 'beloved' as it was translated back in his old lands. His heart skipped a few beats and he held his breath, awaiting her answer. He would be utterly crushed if she were to say no.... But it was truly all up to her.

Bella watched his grinning face with a reflecting look upon her own. Her multi colored eyes stared into his blue ones. Her black fur a striking contrast against his golden. Her multicolored wings, the same as her eyes, against his white angel ones. His egotistical personality and her own, depressing, self conscious one. Opposites in every way, but here they were, completely and utterly in love with each other. I guess the saying is true, opposites attract.
But Bella had come up with a better saying for it. Not only do opposites attract. No. Opposites take one look at each other, and then nothing else is in their mind except for that other person. That other person is who they were born to be with for the rest of their lives. Bella sighed, and nuzzled her nose into Channing's chest fur. She listened to his heart beat steadily, bump bump. Bump, bump. Over and over, never changing, her constant in the whirlwind of emotions she was feeling all at once.
"Nothing Channing." She said sweetly, and being truthful she wasn't, she had forgotten all about the other pups as of right now. Now she was in the moment. Here with him.
The brutes next words shocked her. She couldn't think of an answer, she couldn't think of anything to say. Though she didn't know what nalla meant she knew it was something special. She could just tell. Her mouth dropped open, she didn't know what to say at all. She had no idea, at all. But the clock was ticking away, the clock was counting down. Why can't the hands just rewind and she could think. But if I keep waiting, tomorrow would be one day too late.
"Yes." That's all she said. ((OOC-the too late and tick tock and thing like that is from the song One Day Too Late by Skillet. I disclaim, no suing Cinder!))

Channing laid there completely breathless. His heart quickened to a faster pace than he would have ever thought possible. What if she said no? He would look like a complete fool and moron. And Channing was neither of those... well actually he could easily look like both of those in front of Bella and be fine with it. But if it were anyone else, he'd flip. Easy as that. His soft blue orbs watched her intently, praying that she said the one word he wanted to hear. Just the one. Hell, he'd be fine if it were in another language as long as the translation meant the same.
His heart literally stopped in his golden furred chest when her maw opened and her beautiful voice carried to his erect ears. Yes... she had said yes. He let out a large sigh and held her tightly to him, "Oh thank the ancestors." Channing pressed kisses all over her face and licked at her cheek. The smile that was permantely plastered to his face would need a chizzel to remove it, he was so happy. Hell, there wasn't even words to describe how happy he was.
Channing quit the kisses and flashed his bright white teeth at Bella. "I love you, Carabella. And you better believe that I would never find another fae as gorgeous as you." His voice was soft and seductive, silky sounding. And to top it off, he was being completely honest. Bella was all he thought about, and now that she was his mate, there was nothing else he could ever hope for. Except maybe a family, but that was far to soon to think about. Hell, he wasn't even really ready for a family. Bella finally had him thinking about someone else other than himself. Let's take it one step at a time, true?

Carabella's heartbeat quickend as her answer left her lips. She knew this was the right choice, she just wasn't sure she wanted this so soon. This love. This adoration, not from him, even though he probably did, but from her. Was she ready to adore a brute so much, it hurt to be away from them. Was she ready for this kind of love?
She would never know. All she can do is touch his shoulder with her own, and dive in headfirst fearless. She would have to. She knew she was meant to be with him, but did he know that she was? Was he ready for her? All her flaws, all of her. Just her. All these questions shot through her mind. And as they did she though about them. She gently probed Channing's mind and listend to his own thoughts. Was he having doubts? No. His thoughts centered around her.
She felt herself flush with pleasure and she smiled hugely. She jumped off of his chest and ran to a near by tree. She motioned that he follow her with a swish of her tail. She got down on her chest. A weird move, but she always thought it made her earth power more powerful. A playful posistion for something so serious. Bella blew on the ground, no plant there. She hoped her power was strong enough to make a plant appear out of nothing. She blew hard on the ground once more, and a plant began to appear. She grinned and blew harder. The plant grew high, a vine twisting around the tree as it grew more. Then the flowers opened.
The flowers were beautiful. The colors twisting and intertwinging themselves, as their hearts were now. Blues, greens, purples, golds, blacks, teals. Every color that had anythign to do with the pair, on each of the flowers. It was a sight to behold. She turned and looked at Channing, her mate. "This is a symbol of us. As long as we're together, this plant will grow and flourish." She said walking closer to him. "Now we make it official." She shivered thinking of Lucid, she hoped he would approve. Without his approval, Carabella couldn't survive in this pack, not withoug Channing.

Channing grinned like a giddy little girl as Bella got off of him and brushed his side, heading toward a nearby tree. He immediately rolled over and jumped to his paws. Before he took a step, he relaxed his white wings and shook out his golden fur. There was no need to keep the dirt on there longer than need be. Even if he wasn't thinking about himself all the time, he still hated being dirty for long periods of time. After the shaking was over with, he glanced over at Bella as her tail motioned for him to fallow.
With slow, delicate steps, he approached her, stopping at her side. He lowered his head, his brow narrowed in thought as she lowered her body to the ground and blew softly. He had gotten used to the position she was in... it was how she worked her magic with the earth... and he had no complaints about it. The flowers and plants that she created were beautiful. Enviable even to him. His bright blue eyes widened as a vine like flower produced from the ground and began to wrap around the tree trunk. His maw dropped open slightly as the blooms began to open, flashing bright, beautiful colors. They were truly extravagent.
His mouth closed sharply as Bella began to speak to him. He turned his head toward her and brushed his nose softly against her cheek. A symbol of their love... He liked that idea. This was their spot, and always would be. His thoughts were cut short though... by her next comment. Make it official? Channing wasn't quite sure what she had meant until he felt her shiver and the emotion rolling off of her. Lucid. Make it official by asking Lucid.
Channing swallowed and nodded, "There is nothing to worry about, Carabella. We will make this official and begin our life together. Lucid can not say no to love. Think about the way he looks at our alphess Mira. He knows how we feel." With all his might he tried to not think about the emotions that pooled at his feet when around the alphen pair. There was love there... but it was mostly lust and pride. Channing didn't think about it though. He couldn't. Lucid would approve. He had to. Or Channing would flip the biggest bitch seen in a long time.
OOC:: Uber excited! Bella and Channing are so adorable!

Bella looked at his grinning face and her heart sped up even more, if that was even possible. It sounded like a jack hammer, and she could feel it pounding against her chest. The butterflies in her tummy kicked up the flying a notch and her insides felt like a spider was crawling in them. She burshed her tail across his smiling maw and smiled back up at him, as he was quite a bit taller then she.
Egotistical brute. She thought when he shook all the dirt off of his fur. But hey, he was getting better about it, he did take the dirt for her. She smield as he followed, and smiled even wider when he thought of her odd posistion. Magic with the earth. She liked that. She watched him as his mouth dropped open in the awe at her creation. She couldn't belive it herself that she had created something so beautiful with her power.
He was right, this would be their spot forever. Unless he came to his senses and decided he didn't want someone like her anymore. Bella shook her head clearing those thoughts. She listened to his thoughts closely, as she almost always did, she hoped he didn't mind the intrusion.
Bella saw his confusion and heard it through his mind, over her sentence, she let it sink in a moment and then saw his comprhension. As he spoke about the par, of how they knew hwo the two felt about eachother, she hoped that that was true. She could hear his own doubt at his own sentence, but she knew they couldn't live without one and another. "I love you" she said.
