As the last ending syllables roll from between O'Malley's teeth and of his silver tongue there is a great hush around them, as if every predator, prey and even the trees quietened there swaying selfs to listen for a message that will only ever be heard. The air around the three wolves gave only one call for silence shivering slightly as it would just before a howl would reach your ears.
"I am Vidrio and i call on behalf of another who's call is to young for you and most to hear. We have traveled here from a far away place that is a home no more, a naboring pack of malices intent soaked her birth land in her kins blood and would have done the same for this little one had I not intervened for her life. We have traveled far and I have seen that this pack is better for her then I while she is still young. I ask that she be accepted into the pack and that aid come quick for she is week with fatigue and hunger. She is no more then a few weeks old a moon at best so i not only ask that she receives you care and quick I also plead for it to be so."
Luminess lay in Vidrio's pelt curled tightly for both his warmth and his sent knowing all to well that the potent combination of the two would driver away her hunger and melt her weary body's fatigue. It had not been long since that day when the laughter turned to nightmarish screams and all her grove dressed in red before her senses, such dreams would control her sleep if it weren't for her champion chasing them away with a cloak of his smell a shield of his looks and a sword forged from his love for her. She couldn't bear to be without him she knew it and hoped he would feel the same. But that was not how it turned out, as he called for the alphas and any other high rank wolves from the forest tears began to grow and threaten to flood her feeble control over them. Despite her age she was no fool she knew what he intended to do and that it would be many summers before they may meet again and the thought of it was crushing her tiny heart. "Why? why? why must you leave me here? Why cant you stay with me here and be together? Why must you leave me as well?" Her pleas where not ignored just that he didn't know if there was a way to convince her by mere words so he said the only think he could say. "I will come back for you when you are grown." And with that he left without a farewell for he could not say the words with out faltering and before his call was answered by either voice or persons, she was now truly alone abandoned and even tho she knew he would be there for her and that he would never truly leave or see her as a burden, she couldn't help but feel as if she had been unwanted and thus passed on to another.
Her knight had left her to others without waiting to see if they would take her she was weak frightened and vulnerable, the flood gates broke tears tumbled down her face and soaked into her fur as she cried and called for him with all her heart tight and raw with pain from his absence. All that filled her mind were her own crying yips and barks echoing within her head for the one person she truly loved as he to left her alone.
All she could do was cry as her never ending plea played its sad melody in the area around her for any close enough to hear her calling.

The swaying fae now slowly trod her pads across the earth once more, her body still fighting against gravity but seemingly much calmer with the idea. There was at last a small essence of care devoted to the rank of the Alphess and a slight submissiveness that walked with the violet fae as she made her way forwards to re-join the company of her travelling companion. Then he began to talk. A small shiver ran across the fae and another couple of sparks flew off, harmlessly into the atmosphere. His words were beautiful and enticed her closer to him. Her mind finally shushed as it was surrendered to his voice. Her body tamed by his scent, she was lulled forwards, her pace increasing. Just. She would be by his side. That’s where she wanted to be. Was where she figured she Should, no. Would be, always. She half lowered herself to the ground, rump only inches away from the earth by where he lay when he spoke once more. Phrax had been dreamily watching his ears pivot and her eyes widened as they once more rose and his delicious maw opened again, slowly to speak his angelic tones. A blissful smile crossed the fae as she gazed at the male before a sudden spark of irritation wired through her mind flashed into life. He had told to Her, his name and not to her. She was about to comment on this, though much more subtly so, but her tongue was grabbed by his following line; “…that lovely, loon…”
--Lovely!?!--
He’d.. Steel. Had called her ‘lovely’! The fae was now frozen, dead still in her half-sitting crouch and her tails and ears both flicked as several sparks now flew off in a very flustered burst. Her cheeks were slowly reddening under her coat and she hoped he wouldn’t notice… Maybe part of her hoped he would.. She knew from the tone that the word was not meant in the way she would hope but that still didn't stop her from loving it. Her fur bristled and her mind (both parts) were ricocheting off the interior walls with overly static glee. The loon was irrelevant, in fact it made Phrax snigger a little to herself, all she had left now was to sit and stop acting like such a freak… well..
"I am Vidrio and i call on behalf of another who's call is to young for you and most to hear. We have traveled here from a far away place that is a home no more, a naboring pack of malices intent soaked her birth land in her kins blood and would have done the same for this little one had I not intervened for her life. She is no more then a few weeks old a moon at best so i not only ask that she receives you care and quick I also plead for it to be so."
Holy Crap! The fae’s ears shot up with a crack of electricity and she snorted in annoyance at her sudden staticity (a made up word for her becoming suddenly very static =D). Her fur poofs out even worse than usual as the howl shakes through her. Her ears and head turn to face the direction of where the voice sang from and she rose slightly to a more upright position, her body still tense none the less. She was ready to investigate, her smile slightly crooked showed her ‘disease‘ was eager to have a look see and this time Phrax was in agreement. At least this way round the duo seemed to form some kind of alliance… For how long.
((OOC - I had permission from Cere to post this first as she isn’t gonna post here until after her other posts and it doesn’t interfere witch her plans, so Vanya next! See you when I get back ^^ T-Y!))[/i]

V A N Y A
- - - - - - - - - - Ok, so she had expected many different reactions after her little outburst there, but the purple female’s one just confused her. Had she actually enjoyed that? ‘Masochist …’, she thought mutely. It had certainly surprised her to see how fast the other femme had gotten up after having been roughed up like that, but what had surprised her the most was the … joy? With which she addressed her afterwards. But then she just started speaking nonsense. Vanya raised an eyebrow at this; could it be that she had tossed her around a bit too hard? Or maybe she had hit her head or something. The other female was still staggering a bit on her feet though, and yet she was able to laugh so openly, as if everything that had happened had just been a thrill to her. Not only that, but she seemed to still be trying to taunt her with her mocking tone. ‘She’s a weird one’, she decided. No, weird didn’t even start to cover it; she seemed to be completely insane. And that strange laughter of her just seemed to confirm it in some way. Taking these thoughts into account Vanya decided to just give up on the other female for now; there just didn't seem to be a way to fix her.
The young femme's previous fit of anger had totally dissipated now, which was obvious by the way the sharpness in her gaze and her expression had softened considerably. To tell the truth she was starting to regret her previous outburst towards the other female. She just knew, deep inside, that she had gone a bit overboard there, and apparently the brute in front of her thought the same thing judging from the look he was giving her. Not that she minded what he could possibly think of her, but just the fact of knowing that she had lost to her emotions like this made her want to slap herself. ‘Stupid’. Really, she was the Alphess here, she was supposed to keep her cool in situations like this and act responsibly instead of running around acting like a moody teenager. She just sighed softly at this; apparently she just needed to learn to control her temper more efficiently. She couldn’t just go around snapping at others like this after all.
Her thoughts were interrupted at the sound of the male’s deep voice; he had finally decided to say his share. When he mentioned that he came from the Kumori Plains Vanya had briefly hoped that he would have some information to enlighten her a bit more about what was going on over there right now. Unfortunately he informed her right away that he knew nothing of it. She just gave him a short nod in understanding. He then proceeded to apologize for both him and his companion for trespassing into her lands. But really, did she actually give them that impression? That she was the kind of wolf that would attack any trespassers without even thinking? She kind of understood if they thought badly of her after what she had done though, even if it was very far from the truth. That outburst of hers had probably been more related to her own pride and her volatile temper than to her newly acquired rank. But then again, they didn’t know that, and she wasn’t about to explain it to them.
The brute stopped for a moment, so she thought he was done with what he had to say to her, and she was readying herself to give him an answer when he spoke again. This time he introduced both himself and his weird companion. ‘Of course’, she had totally forgotten that they had yet to introduce themselves formally. Well, at least that was taken care of now. She would have said something in return, but the moment she opened her maw a distant sound interrupted her: a howl. Her ears went up immediately, and she moved to face the direction of the sound and get a better grasp of it. Judging from its general direction, the young femme could tell it came from somewhere near the border. Due to this she first expected for it to be a loner asking for acceptance. The message carried by that howl turned to be quite different, being rather grim and cause worry to stir inside of her. The subject of the whole ordeal was nothing more than a weak and powerless pup. Someone was asking for her to take the little one into her pack. It was only after a few seconds had passed that it hit her, ‘Oh god’; someone was actually abandoning a pup into the forest for her or any other pack member or creature to find.
For a moment she nearly forgot that Steel and Phrax were still there, as she focused on this new situation thrown at her. Her eyes narrowed and she frowned slightly: seriously, what kind of irresponsible wolf could just go to an unknown land and abandon a pup like that? Especially now that it was winter and cold reigned outside. Did they intend for the young one to freeze to death or something? That was definitively not acceptable. Not to mention that the poor baby was now at the mercy of every single creature that lurked in the woods. Just inexcusable. But of course she realised that there was nothing she could do about it except for going over there and get the pup to safety. The poor thing was surely alone by now, and in the forest that could be dangerous for a such a small and vulnerable being. She really felt the urge to go there right now and look for the little one. No one deserved to be discarded as if they were nothing, especially not a pup that was just starting to live. Really, what was wrong with the world?
Even though her instincts told her to rush to the borders,Vanya knew that she still had some pending matters with the two newcomers that were standing near her. She had yet to know why they were here, though she deduced they were probably looking to join her pack like many others. She eyed them briefly before turning to look in the direction where the howl had come from. She really wanted to go, rescue the pup that had just been left at the borders, and take it to safety at the dens; but at the same time she had duties that required for her to stay were she was until she had settle everything with Steel and Phrax, and this she was facing a dilemma here. The slender femme sighed at this. Really, she couldn’t help it; when it came to pups something deep inside of her just seemed to melt and she just felt the desperate urge to help and comfort them.
Finally she decided that the best thing to do was get done with her business here as fast as possible so she could go fetch the pup in the borders. Though she really hoped that any other of her pack mates had heard the call as well, that way they would be able to help the little one faster while she was busy, and so the worry that weighted down on her heart would maybe lighten up a bit.
Sighing again she turned to look at both newcomers, trying to erase the worry that she knew was reflected on her face and replacing it with a serious, yet gentle expression that was just fit for the business at hand. She was almost ashamed for what she was about to say, because it would sound kind of hypocritical after what she had done to Phrax. But alas, it was better to try and start things anew in a better way, maybe something good would come of it. “While it is nice to meet you, Steel and … Phrax”, she paused a second after mentioning the female's name, looking at her suspiciously. Vanya actually meant what she said … at least when it came to the brute, just because he seemed to have more sense than his companion. The tone of her voice when she spoke the femme’s name made it clear that she still had her doubts about her though. She decided to continue nonetheless. “I must say that I am quite curious as to what has brought you here. Do you seek a home like many do, or are you maybe just passing by this land?”, she said while tilting her head to the side slightly. Her voice was smooth, and her tone friendlier than it had been before; definitively different from the first time she had addressed them both. She kept eyeing nervously in the direction from where the howl had come a mere moment ago though.

Bags! Had he said too much? O’Malley – now, self proclaimed, Steel – hadn’t fully ran his words over in his head before they sprung from his chops. He wondered if he’d regret it later… Yes, he had been polite and straightforward with Vanya, as seemed to be her preference. But his whipped tongue had cracked out adjectives before he had even had time to think before he should speak. Phrax was – or at least she seemed to him – quite particular to which words you used where. Then again, with him (being the ladies man, of course) he should always keep himself on his toes, less he slip out a word that was meant lightly and it should be taken to heart by any fae for that matter, and he’d be stuck with a shadow for the next moon cycle before finally having to break her heart. And with that thought came an even more amusing one – what if an alphess were to be the one whom he captivated with mere words? The urge to smirk slyly was barely surpressed upon his lips, despite the serious situation of acceptance into a pack that occurred before him. He surreptitiously snorted at himself, for allowing his mind to wander frivolously once again. Now in the correct state of mind, O’Malley remembered the thought that caused his head-long train of thoughts to careen out of control.
Phrax.
He glanced at her coolly from the peripheral of his right eye. Needless to say, she hadn’t moved since he had spoken. O’Malley resisted – with great mental effort – the urge to turn and stare at her from her odd state. But he must admit, he’s seen it before. Females caught off-guard, lulled by his charm and smooth words, would be stricken near motionless by something he had simply said or done. And even with how annoying the swooning could be sometimes, oh how he relished in it. The sly smirk slowly crept up upon his black chops. Before he could be suspected of something – with a smirk upon his features – O’Malley turned his full attention to Vanya and opened his mouth, as if to offer her more information, when the cool collect of the forest was broken by a sad call. O’Malley turned to the sound, as his two female acquaintances did the same. A look of utter confusion frowned upon his features, maroon-tipped ears perked up, black brow drew forward, and the curve of his chops sunk to the ground. It wasn’t that he didn’t understand the song echoing through the trees…it was that he didn’t want to. O’Malley barely even breathed as the call ended and the weight of the situation sunk in upon his shoulders – as it surely did for Phrax and Vanya as well. His urge was to go to the pup, whom he could hear sobbing in the distance. O’Malley was also sure that any other large predator was sure to hear it as well. He wanted to go to the crying child, but he knew the first move was to be made by his new leader. Thoughts raced through his mind, but they froze suddenly as Vanya took her turn to speak.
He turned to her, ears tall and tail bristling slightly. The confused anger on his face stayed for a mere moment before melting into anger and disbelief. Really? This alphess was just witness to the abandonment of a child upon her own land and she was standing here, closing formalities with two wolves whom she hardly new. Granted, she was polite and took care of business, but O’Malley was in utter disbelief, it took nearly every fiber of his being not to go running to the terrified child, and Vanya seemed more concerned with getting the facts from him and Phrax before she ‘officially’ moved on to the next order of business. He didn’t care if it would cost him another scar, or even his only eye, he could keep his mouth shut no longer.
”For god’s sake! Cut the formalities! Can you not hear her sobbing?!”, he practically snapped at her as he turned and dashed off into the distance. His tone was probably harsher than necessary, but he was angry, damn it! It was one thing to abandon a child, but to ignore an abandoned child, O’Malley saw that as cruel. He imagined he would be lashed out at, earn himself another scar and most likely be forced to leave the pack for the second time now, but at the moment he could care less about himself. His red paws clawed angrily at the ground until his temper cooled with each passing step and only his purpose for running was left with him. Suddenly and unexpectedly he came upon the pup, causing himself to skid to a halt in the fashion of placing his rump on the ground. His chest heaved as he panted from his sprint, his one eye never leaving the small, yellow ball of fur before him.
It was at that moment he remembered that he wasn’t any good with kids.
O’Malley swallowed, his brows hinting of his sudden worry and slight fear of the child. His heart hammered now, not only from running, but from the pressure he felt he had just placed upon himself. Licking the inside of his mouth, he searched frantically for the right words, or any words for that matter.
”Um…ah…wanna go catch some frogs?” It seemed like an odd thing to say, but if an adult had asked him that as a child, his tears would have been long forgotten. His paws kneaded the ground nervously as he awaited the kid’s response. With his luck, he’d most likely end up making the kid cry more…but at least she was safe.
Cere said that she didn’t mind continuing this, so hopefully no one else does either! X D

{00c - IMPORTANT Okay, I've removed my mega long post as IC it would be O'Malley (Steel) who first arrives to where Lumin is, then Alphess Vanya and lastly it would be Phrax. I've saved it don't worry and I'll re-post it with any edits needed once Cere has posted for her wolf. Please please can we try to get this thread going again? It was so much fun!
