So, we all have opinions about various codes on the forum. Well, this is a question as to whether or not we think we should keep or get rid of the post preview. Now, this poll will be up for a week, so the choice will be final come Friday, July 31, 2009 (Right when it turns that. The poll will close at Midnight on the 30th.) EDIT: I miscalculated... so I will manually lock the poll at Midnight on the 30th.
Please post your reasoning for your vote in this thread. I am also allowing you to recast your vote, should you change your mind on it. Note, this doesn't give you multiple votes, it allows you to take back your previous vote to change it to a new choice.

Eer, it's the Newblet here.
I think you should keep it. Mainly because it does alot more good then harm. I find myself, that it makes posting alot easier and you make less mistakes in the long run. I know my opinion is a little none so important because I'm new and all. Yet, I have Live Preview on all my sites, it's a habit and a joy. While it can be annoying at times, it's nice to know how your post is forming as you write it.
Thanks for your time, E

I vote in favor of the live preview. Since I'm on a ridiculously slow connection, this feature allows me to view any html mistakes regarding so I can correct them before I actually post instead of wasting more TIME trying to re-edit my post consistently.

So I'm the only one who finds it annoying that, anytime I have to edit or format a profile, I have to scroll for five minutes just to get to the post itself? X3 Not to sound coy or anything. It's just that the post preview aggravates me to no end. The formatting is the only thing that needs to be previewed and it never works in the active preview. More importantly than that, it seems unnecessary. Proboards already HAS a post preview feature. So the active one seems like nothing but an annoyance for people like me who tend to write a lot in both profiles and rp posts. As I type, I constantly have to stop and scroll to continue my post, which is kind of distracting.
I mean, I'm not the most active person so I don't think the thing should be eliminated just because I think it should. But overall it seems unnecessary to me. *shrug*

I vote for the live preview to remain, as In my opinion it is a great way to check how your post is doing as you type it. Maybe I'm just lazy, but it gets a little annoying on other sites having to click preview every time I make a change, and even though the live preview occasionally slows down my computer, in the long run it helps me see mistakes I've made and correct them easily.
Yes I agree it is a tad bit annoying that I have to scroll down, but it's an annoyance that I can definately put up with. It does more good than harm in my opinion and I find it incredably easy to see how my post would look as if it were on the forum, rather than in a white box.
So I vote to keep the Live Preview ^^
