VANYA AND AKAI. The forest was quiet and peaceful as it always was; the water from a little creek could be heard in the distance and birds chirped happily amongst the trees. But then a sharp voice suddenly echoed through the woods, disrupting the calmness that was settled there.
“Oi ‘V’! Let’s stop now, I’m tired!”, half whined, half yelled a young black pup. He was walking just behind a rather petite fae; her light brown and gray fur swayed softly as she moved quietly between the trees. But as soon as the pup spoke she stopped and turned around to look at him with a frown on her face, “Shh! Geez, seriously kid, do you have to be so noisy? Now probably every living being in this forest knows of our presence here”. This was just great, she had been trying to be as discrete as possible all this time and he had to ruin it in such a random way. She knew she had taken them into another wolf’s territory, or maybe even a pack’s territory, but she didn’t know if they were friendly or not so she was being as careful as she could. Of course that having a pup around didn’t exactly make it easy. “Oh … Oops, sorry”, he said with innocent expression plastered on his face. The only thing that made it clear that the obvious annoyance of the femme was amusing him greatly was the smirk that graced his lips. The fae rolled her eyes before speaking, “Anyway … What can I do for you today ‘your highness’?”, she said in an ironic way.
“I’m tired, let’s rest”, he said with a pout as he sat down rather roughtly as to make his point clear. The older femme raised an eyebrow at the whining pup, “Seriously Kai, we just took a rest a while ago … I think you’re just being lazy”. “Am not!”, he retorted sharply, “I’m just tired!”, he said with a slight frown. “Riiiight”, said the fae a smirk on her face. “And here I though you were ‘all strong and powerful’”, she said while trying to imitate his voice as she quoted what he had once told her. “I am! But still … And anyway, don’t make fun of me!”, he said with a soft growl.
She sighed, to tell the truth she also felt the need to rest for a while, she was exhausted. They had had their fair amount of traveling lately and she hadn’t really slept a lot since they entered this new territory. At least she could still hunt to feed them both, but being constantly on guard was starting to take its toll on her. And she knew that Akai wasn’t asking her to stop because he was tired, just giving a quick look at him anyone could tell he was bursting out energy as always. Or maybe it was just her impression since she was so drained herself. She sighed again and looked at the pup in front of her. “Fiiine, we’ll take a break. Let’s just reach the creek just ahead, I can tell it isn’t far since the scent of water comes all the way here”. Then she turned again as to get on her way again.
Akai’s face lit up at the words of the fae. “Yay! Ok, let’s go then!”, and in a second he was up again, ready to follow her closely again. Truth to be told he wasn’t tired at all, in fact, he felt like running around and chasing some butterflies or something. But he had noticed how the older femme’s pace had gradually started to slow down. He knew she never walked at full speed when he was around so he wouldn’t fall behind, but today it was different. She hadn’t spoke much since he woke up either, and the position of her head was lower than it normally was when she walked. He may have been young, but at this rate any idiot could tell that his caretaker was tired. And he knew her enough to know that she wouldn’t listen to him if he told her that maybe she needed to rest. So instead, as much as it hurt his pride, he pretended to be the one who was tired. He knew she just couldn’t ignore that, and just as he had planned, she accepted to take a break.
Not long after they had finally reached the creek that the fae had sensed before. Clear and fresh water flowed through it with a rather calming sound. As promised both the pup and the femme were now laying down next to it after having drank their fill. Suddenly Akai turned to face Vanya, “Sleep. I’ll keep watch”, he said proudly. At this she just raised an eyebrow and snorted softly, “Did you just try to order me around? You know, I can do that with you, but it won’t work the other way around”. He gave her a look of disbelief before speaking again, “Aww, no fair! I can be just as good keeping watch as you!”. “It’s not about that Kai; it would just be so irresponsible on my part letting a pup keep watch while I sleep … Not that it would work anyway, you would probably just run off after a butterfly or something and then it would be such a pain finding you again”, she said with a slight grin. He gave her an indignant look and pouted, “Fine, but you just lost your chance!”. He just poked his tongue out at her and then he turned around so she was facing his back now.
Vanya just laughed softly at his childish display. She then concentrated on her surroundings; the breeze here was so fresh and nice. She decided that they would stay there as long as possible just so they could enjoy this peace a bit longer.
OOC - Lol, and here I was worried because of the doubled word minimun I have when playing these two at the same time. But apparently my habit of making everything long just kicked in xD Still, it's an awful post. I blame my lack of muse atm D: lol

It was the perfect day, one that allowed for someone to be themselves. It was in all aspects the perfect time for thinking. It was, to Akela, the best kind of time there ever was. She enjoyed this peacefully serenity of silence. Nobody was around to poke fun at her. Nobody whom she had to submit to. She could just be herself, with no person to torment or surpass her. Akela knew such a moment wouldn't last for long. Her brother wouldn't be too far from trying to drag her back into the pack. Yet, she didn't let that fact spoil her moment of peace. The poisonous Fae walked a little joyfully threw the woods. Her legs extended fully, as she let herself bounce a bit in her jog. Her head was lifted higher then she normally held it, and her tail was unusually relaxed, wagging even. Had Akela been aware of other's nearby, perhaps she would have been a little more keen on concealing herself. Yet, for now, she just jogged along, not really paying much attention. She wanted to get as far from possible before her brother found her. She didn't want to be caught too close to the pack. this was her chance to explore, before she was tied down by commitment. She wasn't going to waste it. The pudgy wolf turned onto a thin path, one that was probably made by a bear, or a creature of size. The small path cut threw a small grassy meadow, and Akela was a bit annoyed to find it was too narrow for her pudgy body to walk on without rustling the grass. Knowing that being caught out here would only make it all the easier to be found, Akela put a bit more haste in her step as she passed the grassy area. By the time she got back to the trees, the fat femme had to stop to breath. Tired, Akela looked back, and realized she had walked far, possibly farther then she had ever willed to walk before. It was only after this enlightenment, that thirst began to settle onto Akela's tongue, placing the desert inside her mouth. Knowing that water rested not to far away, Akela began to head toward the stream. Having been bent on getting water, Akela had let her guard down. It wasn't until the poisonous being had dipped her muzzle into the liquid when she heard the sound of other wolves just around the river bend. Akela's head shot up, and almost instinctively, she flattened herself o the ground. Cautiously, she started to half crawl, half walk toward the other wolves. What she saw made her relax, but only a little. There where two wolves, but one was a puppy, smaller even then Akela. The other, however, was a full grown wolf, one with an air of authority about her, granted this is probably because Akela herself is nervous around anyone.
Aware that her bright markings would have probably given her away already, Akela watched the feet of the older wolf. She felt the urge to speak, though no words would come to her mind. She couldn't simply just say 'hi'' That would be a bit.... weird. Especially since she didn't know the other wolf. So instead, Akela clamped her mouth shut, and waited for the other wolf to speak first.

VANYA & AKAI. Vanya was definitively enjoying this little moment they had taken to rest. She was just laying down on her side with her head up, holding herself up with the elbow of her front leg, in order to not miss anything around her, though she was so relaxed she had unwillingly lowered her guard. But she just couldn’t help it. Everything here was so peaceful: the sound of the water flowing through the creek next to them, the dim sunlight that passed through the tall trees and finally the soft and cool breeze that traveled constantly all along the clearing created by the tin water flow, creating a soft melody as it grazed the vegetation. It was almost as if everything that surrounded her just asked for her to relax a bit. She decided to get out of her reverie though, in order to start paying attention to her surroundings once again. Before doing so she cast a glance at Akai to check what he was up to now: that pup could never stay still after all. He seemed to be pretty calm when she looked at him though: he was laying down a few inches away from her, though with his back to her. He was doing some weird movements with his front legs, but soon she realized that the young pup seemed to be entranced with some silly game he had come up that involved his playful paws and a little rock nearby, so she just let him be and continued to look at her surroundings.
Without even realizing it Vanya was starting to get distracted again, thinking about the breeze, the birds, the water, anything that was around her, anything but what she was supposed to look for as she stood guard: other wolves. She was forced to snap back to attention though, as she heard a rustling in the vegetation nearby. She quickly got up, sitting on her hinder legs now, with her ears perked up, ready to catch any sound or movement around. Her eyes were scanning the area, looking for anything suspicious. Something quickly caught her attention though: there was a bright colored figure crawling no too far away, another wolf. Vanya immediately got up on her four legs, startling Akai with the sudden move, and he stood up as well. He looked at her puzzled: she suddenly looked so tense and defensive; he had no idea of what was going on. “V? What’s going on?”, he asked, but he didn’t get an answer.
She her heard Akai asking her something, but she ignored it for now, focusing on the wolf in front of her. Her gaze hardened as she looked at the intruder intently, her ears perked up and her body tense. She was mentally cursing herself for having been as careless as to not notice the other wolve’s presence near them, but now was not the time, she had to ensure that this new wolf didn’t represent a threat before of anything else. “Kai, get behind me. Now.” Her voice was hard and commanding, making it obvious that there was no room for complaints or contradictions. The pup knew this and he immediately did as he was told, quickly moving to stand behind the older fae without making any more questions.
Akai knew her well enough to know that something was off; she normally didn’t behave in this way unless something was the matter. He then looked the way her gaze was directed, realization shooting through his mind as he did so. Now everything made sense. There, just in front of them, was another wolf. It’s bright colors giving away its location. The pup mentally slapped himself; how could he have not noticed? And it was so close to them. It was in situations like these that he was reminded of how much he depended on his caretaker, which annoyed him. He decided to keep standing behind Vanya though, watching carefully where the other wolf was through her legs.
Vanya suddenly spoke, her voice hard and demanding. “Who are you?”, she asked, keeping her place. The question was obviously directed to the bright colored wolf in from of them. Deep inside, despite all the tension that was shooting through her body at the moment, the fae really wished that the other wolf didn’t turn up to be aggressive or something, she was in no mood to pick a fight. She was tired after all, and the last thing she wanted to do was to be quarreling like that with another wolf.

Akela watched the other wolves, able to tell their movements by watching their feet. Though she tried to muster up some self confidence, Akela failed drastically to even bring her eyes to look over their shoulders. She knew that for a while they didn't know she was there. Why else would they be so silent. This notion brought some calmness inside Akela, who didn't want to be flat out exposed. She didn't know these strangers, and she wanted more then anything to flee. The only thing keeping her there was the fact Akela was full aware her weight would slow her down, and the other adult would easily get her.
Though the bright colored Fae couldn't look at the eyes or even the face of the adult, she managed to look up at the puppy hiding behind the older one. Where they mother and son? Brother and sister? Akela decided such questions where none of her business as she clamped her mouth shut.
At the harsh sound of the older wolf, Akela cringed. Here it came, the time to speak. Sub consciously, Akela's poison leaked onto her thin fur, causing a slight stink in the air, as if she ad suddenly erupted to sweat. "Meh...My nnnnnn... nname is Akkk...ela. " Akela began, very nervously at first. Trying to sound a bit braver, she tried again, "My name is Akela.[/color]. Though the bright Fae wanted to follow up her response by asking 'you' she calmed her mouth shut. She was in no position to ask any question, even one so trivial as asking for a name.
((sorry it's a bit short,))

VANYA & AKAI. Vanya watched as the wolf on front of her raised to its feet. It was then that she noticed that the bright colored intruder was actually a female because of her built. This relieved her a bit; at least she wouldn’t have to deal with a big brute that would probably overpower her if she had to defend herself and Akai. She watched the other femme carefully, her gaze piercing and analytic. She was already trying to decipher her intentions, not missing a single movement or gesture. Something reassured her though: since the moment they had both acknowledged each other’s presence, the other fae hadn’t done a single thing that showed she meant them harm. She hadn’t missed her hesitant posture either, or the fact the she hadn’t even dared to look at her face. She actually seemed to be afraid of her, which Vanya found amusing in a way since she was bigger than her.
Vanya had expected a rather bad reaction when she asked the bright colored fae her name. She was after all using a very commanding tone and she didn’t know if the other would have any of it. Plus, she was there asking questions as if she owned the lands she was in and needed an explanation as to why there was an intruder in her home, when she was an intruder herself in this territory. What if this fae was actually a member of the pack that inhabited these lands? Then she would probably be in trouble for acting in such a cocky way. She discarded those thoughts for the time being though; she would scold herself for her foolishness later.
Her thoughts were proven wrong when the other femme spoke though. Instead of having a bad reaction as she had anticipated, she stuttered nervously. She seemed very self-conscious, shy and submissive. In fact she seemed to be more afraid of her that she or Akai were of her. Unexpectedly there was a strange scent that surged from the fae at that exact moment as well, and Vanya couldn’t help but wonder what it was while Akai simply wrinkled up his nose in distaste. She ignored it for now though, she could always ask later. Vanya didn’t quite understand what the other fae said at first because of her stuttering, but fortunately she seemed to gather her courage and repeated herself. So her name was Akela. She hesitated then. Should she tell her her name? It was the most logic and polite course of action seeing as she had behaved quite well all this time.
Though, before she could speak Akai popped out from behind her with a grin as he looked at Akela. “So your name’s Akela, right?”, he asked cheerfully. Vanya just looked at him in surprise. She wasn’t expecting that since the young pup would normally be very distrustful of wolves he didn’t know. He just continued to talk in the same cheerful way though. “Hi, my name’s Akai”, he said with a grin, “And this here is Vanya”. By then Vanya had snapped back to her senses and had realized that the pup hadn’t only just disobeyed her but was currently approaching and adult wolf that they knew nothing about.
She quickly stopped him by putting one of her front paws over his tail, successfully forcing him to sit down. “And just what the hell do you think you’re doing kid?” “Isn’t it obvious?”, he answered as he gave Vanya an annoyed look, “I’m talking to her … Since you’re being all bitchy and you’re scaring her off”. Her eye twitched slightly: had he just called her bitchy? Not only that, where had he learned to speak like that? He was a mere pup, he wasn't supposed to have such a vocabulary. She decided to investigate it later though; scolding him could wait. “Dare to say that again and you'll see what happens”, she said giving him a sharp look that indicated him that he would probably be in trouble later for that. He just flattened his ears to his head and answered in an almost mocking tone, “So meaaan!”.
He then looked at Akela again and grinned, “Anyway, you shouldn’t be so scared, Vanya may look scary and mean but she’s actually nice when you get to know her”. Vanya just rolled her eyes at that, ‘And here he goes again …’, she thought in annoyance. “Plus you look like you could crush her if you jumped on her”, he continued with a chuckle. “Hey!”, she protested quickly, “I may not be big but I’m not a weakling you know!” … “Besides, I can just dodge if she was to do that!” Akai laughed and gave Vanya a daring look, “Riiight”, he teased her. Though he knew that she was perfectly capable of doing what she had said. “You know it’s true! Wanna bet?”, she said daringly. She seemed to have momentarily forgotten about Akela, seeing as she was starting to loose her composure, which she would never do in front of a stranger.
Akai was just happy that he had at least managed to get Vanya all worked up like that. Maybe that would lighten up the mood a bit so that Akela could be a bit more comfortable around them. He had noticed how fearful she was of them from the beginning. She seemed to be particularly afraid of Vanya, and he didn’t blame her, the femme could be scary when she wanted to be. This was probably the reason why he had felt the need to try and comfort the bright colored fae if only a bit, though he was aware that he normally would never do that with a stranger. Maybe he just felt identified with her, or he had suddenly found his sympathetic side. OOC - Lol, they're fighting already, geez. xD

Akela waited for the other femme to speak. The silence was becoming rather awkward for her, and the pugy one felt the urge to run. She wasn't excactly a member of this pack... not yet anyway, but ... Akela couldn't chase away the nagging thought she should at least tell her brother that there where strangers on the land. Scary /bossy/ strangers. She waited for the older wolf to speak, pqartially dreading what might those words be. She tried to sit up a little straighter, but her legs staid still as if locked in place. She may gather the courage to speak, but she couldn't do so to stand correctly. In the end, all Akela managed was drenching herself some more as she pondered on the thought of weather to run or stay.
Akela had decided she should run, when her thought path was interupted. Having been suddenly jerked out of her thoughts and back into reality made her start, as she jerked her head to look back at the puppy. She felt at ease around him, if only because she knew he was a pupp. It may also have to do with the fact he sounded so... cheerfull when he spoke to her. Akela paused, as words formed in her mind. Her mouth twitched, the corners coming up into a rather shy and small smile. She opened her jaw to speak, but quickly shut it as the other femme started speaking. At first, Akela thought that the femme... Vanya was talking to her, and instinctivly bowed her head down as if accepting a scolding. However, she gained her wits as she realised Vanya must be talking to her son --at least she guessed Akai was Vanya's son-- Akela's ears twitched, as they listened in on the argument between Akai and Vanya, though her eyes did not look up to track any of the movement. She winced at the way they talked about her, a way that gave Akela the feeling of baing some... stupid mutt. Akela shook her head slowly, chasing the thought out of her mind. No, they where just being friendly... at least Akai was. Akela looked back up towards them, her eyes darting off to the side of their shoulders. When she feared that they might go from words to claws and teeth, Akela managed to pipe up, "I ... Are ... Where are y...you ffrom?" she asked, chaing her mind to asking the question instead of the original sentence of 'Are you two related?'

VANYA & AKAI. Vanya and Akai were already engaged in a heated, yet silly argument. At that point the fae was highly annoyed by the pup’s teasing, and he seemed to be enjoying every moment of it, as it could be seen by the mischievous grin that was plastered on his face the whole time. Of course she could see this, but she was irritated and now she was determined to win this argument, even if she knew it was very childish of her to be arguing like that with a pup. In fact, the little scene would have probably been amusing to any witness because of the irony and absurdity of it. And it was in situations like these that Vanya wondered why on earth she actually let the pup get her so worked up since she could just ignore his silly teasing, especially since it normally ended in her acting in such a foolish manner. Nevertheless they just continued to argue, and for a moment it seemed as if they had forgotten that there actually was another wolf there watching them.
Akela’s hesitant voice interrupted them though. Both Vanya and Akai stopped what they had been doing previously to look at her as she spoke. She wanted to know where they came from. It was just then that realization hit Vanya: she had just let herself be dragged into Akai’s childish games and she had totally dropped her guard in front of a wolf they didn’t know. Hadn’t Akela been such a shy femme they probably would have been in trouble because of it. Still, the bright colored fae hadn’t tried to take advantage of that moment of weakness on Vanya’s part at any time, which leaded her to the conclusion that there was no need to be wary of her. She just relaxed a bit then, and she decided to drop her cold and defensive demeanor, if only a bit.
But then she realized she had yet to answer the other fae’s question. Still, Akai interrupted her before she could speak once again. He seemed to be doing that a lot lately. “Where do we come from? Well, that’s easy”, he said cockily, “We come from … uh … Where do we come from again V?” Vanya just rolled her eyes and snorted amusedly at Akai’s silliness. “Kai, don’t just butt in in adult’s conversations if you don’t have anything intelligent to say”. He half pouted, half frowned at Vanya’s remark and it looked like he was ready to protest, but she just ignored him as she directed her gaze at Akela, it was definitively softer and less menacing than before. “We come from far away lands, probably too far away for you to know them”, she said calmly, “We belong to no pack nor are we tied to any land, so we’re just wanderers for now. Though maybe we’ll have some luck and we’ll have the opportunity to join a pack soon”. “Yeah, what she said”, stated Akai enthusiastically. “What about you … uh … Akela was it? Where do you come from and what has brought you here?”, she continued. Not only her gaze had softened a bit and her body relaxed, but her voice certainly was softer than the first time she had addressed Akela, the dangerous edge there was in it then was long gone now.
Meanwhile Akai just moved to sit down next to Vanya, where it was like a safe haven for him, and he decided to let her handle the situation, he had done his part already. He was interested in what the other fae might say though, and he couldn’t help but look at her with a spark of curiosity in his eyes. OOC - Ok, crappy post ... Damn hang over is killing my muse e.e About the post's lenght, yeah, what Tio said, I just tend to do everything long so don't mind me lol And Tio, of course you can bring Xeno in :3

Akela moved a bit uncomfortably. She had wanted to disuade a fight, mostly for the selfish reason of not wanting to be caught up in one, but it seemed she had only brought on another argument with her question. She watched them, looking up in her crouching position. Sher wondered if she should leave now, while they where partially distracted. No, they would be able to hear her leave with ease. Maybe.... no, she wouldn't. Couldn't. Running away now was not an option, especially when they seemed to remember she was there.
The older one... Vanya looked at her. Though Akela was not looking at her facial expression, she could see in the wolfs other muscles that the femme had at first tensed a bit, as if she was a bit angry at something, then relax. Seeing her relaxed made Akela feel a little more welcome, and in return, Akela let herself relax, laying herself down fully on the ground. She continued to watch the other wolves warily, but she no longer pondered weather to run or stay, but made up her mind to stay. The only way Akela would be leaving now would be if her brother found her. Silently, Akela listened to their argument. When Vanya’s voice softened, it took a while for Akela to realize that she was being addressed.
For a few seconds, the cowering fae wondered what she should say. Taking a deep breath, she started to speak, careful to not stammer like she had been doing. If these people meant harm, surely they would have attacked already. With that thought in mind, she gathered what little courage she had. “I…IIII Ccaame from a lands not too far out of here. I wwwas traveling with my brother, and he made me join a pack. I’m here because I was hoping for one last walk of freedom before my joining is finale. Akela rushed her words as she spoke, as if she was trying to say everything before she forgot what was being said. Akela looked back up, and off to the side of their shoulders. She let some silence linger, and wondered if she should try to continue on a conversation. Deciding she better just let Vanya make the talk, she kept her jaws shut, not wanting to speak unless she had to after this. ooc: thanks^^ I don't mind if you post either^^

VANYA & AKAI. They both listened intently as Akela spoke. As she listened to her story, Vanya couldn’t help but notice how similar her situation was to hers: traveling alone with her brother until they had to join a pack … Of course that was before the series of unfortunate events that separated her from her own brother and ended up with her taking Akai under her wing happened. She rapidly shook those thoughts out of her head though; each time she though about her brother she couldn’t help but to fall victim to a veil of sadness at his loss, therefore she avoided that kind of thoughts, seeing as she needed to remain strong at all times for Akai’s sake as well as her own. When the fae stopped talking Vanya decided it was time to make a few questions. After all, the more she knew about this femme the less she had to worry about her being unknown to them.
“Mhm, so you haven’t joined a pack yet then? … I guess that makes you a wanderer just like us for the time being then”, she remarked. “What surprises me is that you don’t seem to want to join one”. At that moment Akai decided to join the conversation as well, seeing as he was curious about a few things and he felt the need to ask. “Yeah, and how come your brother is forcing you? I mean, can’t he just join a pack on his own and let you be?”, he spat in a rather bitter way. By now he was just starting to think that maybe Akela was just so timid because her brother was mean to her or something. He didn’t like the idea though; despite her cowering in fear of them the fae actually seemed to be quite nice. He had seen her smile, even if just a bit, when he spoke to her after all. That, and her situation just seemed oddly familiar to him.
Vanya frowned a bit and turned to look at the pup besides her. “Kai, that’s rude”, she scolded gently yet firmly as she didn’t want to give him room to start another argument. He just lowered his ears at this, and his gaze suddenly met the ground as if he was ashamed, “Oh … Sorry”. She just sighed softly and turned her gaze back to Akela as she gracefully sat down on her hinder legs just like Akai had done a moment ago. He turned to look at the bright colored femme as well, curious about what she might say.
“Please forgive him, he can be a bit blunt sometimes … Anyway, I was wondering, since apparently you’re going to join the pack that lives around here, if maybe you know where we can actually meet some of its members? It isn’t an accident that we’re here after all. When we were traveling I heard that there was a pack of wolves inhabiting this forest and since I’ve been looking to join a pack for some time already …”, she was abruptly interrupted by the young pup that sat to her side though. “Yeah, and of course she doesn’t ask me anything about it”, he said with a frown. She just rolled her eyes and she looked at him, ‘Oh not again …’. “Kai, we’ve discussed this already … it is for the best for us to join a pack, it will do you good”, she said matter-of-factly. And they had indeed already talked about this before; of course she wouldn’t change her mind even if Akai didn’t agree with her. She had come to the conclusion that the way of life of a wanderer just wasn’t what a pup of his age needed as he grew up. Thus, as used as she was to the fact of being a loner, she decided that Akai needed to join a pack, and seeing as she wouldn’t just leave him alone now she would join as well. “Mhm … Whatever”, he said sharply, turning his head to one side as if to ignore his caretaker. He obviously wasn’t pleased about the idea. They had already had many heated arguments on the subject but Vanya just wouldn’t budge at all, she just wasn’t going to change her mind as it seemed; she was determined to drag him into a pack of unknown wolves no matter what.
Vanya sighed and decided to let him be for now, it would do no good to try to talk to him at the moment. He always got bitter when they touched the subject after all, and there was no reason for it to be different this time. She looked back at Akela, a bit ashamed that she had just witnessed that little exchange, but she decided that she wouldn’t show it in order to keep her pride unharmed.
As she looked at the other fae, Vanya noticed that she still seemed to be wary of her. She had noticed that she hadn’t cowered away when Akai spoke to her, and in a way in was logical since he was just a pup and thus she was the only one that could possibly represent a threat to the bright colored femme, even if it was obvious that Akela was larger than she was. And she hadn’t exactly acted in a friendly way at the beginning either, which gave her all the more reason to be scared of her. She sighed again; it was true that she could be rather cold and harsh with strangers, but it was for the sake of self-preservation, and since both her and Akai were now here alive and unharmed it seemed to work. She decided she should just try to reassure the other femme thoug. After all she seemed to be so uncomfortable around her that it made her kind of uncomfortable as well. “By the way, you don’t need to fear me”, she said calmly, “I mean you no harm … unless you decide to attack us first that is”. She realized that that had just sounded like a threat itself. Thankfully she was speaking in a rather soft tone so she hoped that it hadn’t scared the other fae more than she already seemed to be. For a moment Vanya wondered if she really was that scary all the time. If she was she definitively was going to have to try not to be, after all she didn’t want to look like a menacing monster or something when she met the wolves from the pack in these woods. OOC - Omg, so sorry for the long wait, I've had to travel a bit this week end and thus I wasn't exactly able to post Dx And to make it worse it seems that I could only come up with a rather mediocre post after so long, my apologies x.x

OOC - Lol, it's ok, my word count minimun is doubled here since I'm playing both Vanya and Akai, so yeah, my posts have to be long. Still, I'm pretty sure they would be as long even if I was playing just one of them xD ... Just don't mind the crazy lenght of my posts e.e' xD

Normally the forest might have been silent at this time in the day, the squirrels would have hoarded their nests and the birds would be ruffling their feathers vainly. However, Xeno was in a good mood, and when Xeno was in a good mood, nothing could stay silent for long.
The tiny wolf flitted about like an over-eager butterfly, his eyes wide and mouth open in an expression of joy as he flew over large daffodils and small ponds that held host to skiing bugs and small pond fish. Birds chattered angrily overhead where he had awoken them from their midday naps, and crickets chirped excitedly in Xeno's wake. He knew all the little creatures, and he shared their joy.
A passing scent breezed past his nostrils that immediately made him stop and hover in midair during his flight. He blinked, mouth parting in a little 'o' of discovery and curiosity as he flew towards the source of the growing unfamiliar scent. His wings beat furiously, almost in time to the beating of his tiny heart, no bigger than the eye of a normal sized wolf.
He hummed as he flew towards the new scents, drawn like a honeybee to a new and exotic flower. Finally, he spotted them, two average sized wolves, one of an exotic reddish brown colour, the other of a more artic, grey colour, and a little chocolate pup. They burst into view as swiftly as he had almost seen them, and he whizzed onto the scene, his paws and tail tucked out of the way of his wings so that he could fly faster.
"HEEEEEEEEEYYYYYYYY!" He cried out in excitement, his wings beating furiously as he hovered in the air before circling each of the three wolves quickly. He seemed so puny in comparison to them, almost more like a fairy than an actual proper wolf, but he was a real wolf. Only tinier.
"What brings you to the Forests, travellers?" He piped up, his childish voice deceptive of his wise nature and true age. His wide, baby blue eyes surveyed the three strangers with an excitement and gentle curiosity that one would find in an inquisitive pup.
Words: 365 OOC: Here he is! xD Little bundle of hyperfluff that he is <3
