Skyfire walked along the marshlands, inside of camp of course. He was not allowed out of camp unless another wolf agreed to go with him. Shut yourself up, you will get to go out and hunt later, he thought to himself with a growl. He looked at the entrance of camp and sighed.
It had been a while since he was allowed to go out of camp. Not because he was being punished but because he tended to keep to himself. Skyfire shook his head then started towards the back of camp, to sit in his normal corner. "Stupid fool, your colorful coat would give you away" he told himself sitting down in the corner.
Just relax, focus on your relaxing techniques, Skyfire thought taking a deep breath. He breathed in then out, saying "Relax" everytime. Soon enough he drifted into a small trance, almost anything would be able to break it. His eyes stared at the entrance as he snorted a little through every breath. He was trying to relax and not loose his temper.
Relax, Relax, your past forget it forget your past. Skyfire told himself as he relaxed through every breath his eyes closing. Taking a deep breath he finally drifted into a deeper sleep. It was a light one though, but at least he was relaxed away from the modern world in his dreams. Skyfire rested his head on his paws and snored through every breath. Screaming everywhere I remember everything from that night. Wolves everywhere scattering even though we were a strong pack then like we are now. He thought in his dreams thinking about when his father died to protect the pack and his mother also him as well.

k e r r i g a n ! IT'S HARD TO SAY I'D RATHER STAY AWAKE WHEN I'M ASLEEP CAUSE EVERYTHING IS NEVER AS IT SEEMS ______________________________ Large paws thumped against the ground, the sound loud and swift. The males pace was fast, moving quickly through the land he called his. Nigori was the name, marshland was the style. That style currently clung to his paws, the slightly cool muddy water splashing over his belly and legs. His lime lighting markings sizzled at the contact and most of his was left clean. He was a massive male, nearly twice the size of a normal wolf, but he was lanky and muscled, instead of just bulk. His legs were long, his body long, his tail lengthy as well. But all of him with subtly muscled and this slim illusion could throw a wolf off. His pelt was a solid black, or it would have been if lime didn't break it up. On his face he had bright lime eyes, each with an arch of dots over them. His ears were lime, his nose. And as he ran his tongue rolled out and that was lime too.
It seemed that the faster he ran, the brighter his lime glowed, as if excitement led the way of his coloration. Really he was happy to run, pleased to be about and yet he couldn't wait to get back to Zephora and his unborn pups. He slowed a bit, and then more, until he was jogging lightly. He had no real destination, and this was just a sweep of his lands. He did it often, and he would always do it until he could move no more. He slid to a stop and his long tail flicked, ears arched forward and nose quivered. He breathed deep, his muscles relaxed. But then the stiffened and his head swung in one direction, eyes sharp and ears low. A new scent. One of a male. He lifted his muzzle and a low howl boomed out across his lands before he raced off in the direction. A minute, two, then he spotted the male and slowed to a walk, picking his way through marsh grass. "Who be yew?" he questioned roughly, his accent making him seem more formidable than just his wide, challenging stance.

Wake, now wake. Skyfire lifted his head at his voice as well as the howl. Then Skyfire reminded himself he was not in a pack camp but a camp that he had made for shelter. Shaking his fur dry making the mud splatter against the walls he stepped forward. He looked at his paws and thought for a moment of what to say. He did not want to say the wrong think if this was an alpha.
"May I come join your pack? I know who shall not trust me in a way but please. My name is Skyfire" Skyfire replied with his own voice. Then he pulled back his head and looked at the camp he had made. It was not much of a camp, just two dens as if to say tow wolves lived here. Skyfire turned to the entrance which was covered in mud. He looked at the mud that layered his chest and paw.
Just wait and see if he answers you. He thought to himself as he walked closer to the entrance of his camp. It was a male he could tell by the scent, and a big one at that. Skyfire's fur was a mix of colors, no wonder others thought he was a female at times. Shut up and listen for an answer, Skyfire thought to himself and raised his ears to listen for another answer by the same wolf.

ooc - Hello, please read my post :] Kerrigan has already seen your wolf, and though I don't know why your wolf would think it was okay to build a den site inside an owned packland, I did not know this information. Kerrigan only howled once to alert Skyfire of his presence, and his speech is in a normal tone, face to face. If you could correct that for me, I'll reply

k e r r i g a n ! IT'S HARD TO SAY I'D RATHER STAY AWAKE WHEN I'M ASLEEP CAUSE EVERYTHING IS NEVER AS IT SEEMS ______________________________ Kerrigan watched the new male and then his gaze traveled passed him to the 'camp' the male had made. Kerrigan growled low, his ears flattening against his skull. The makeshift 'camp' was inside his lands. Who, by the ancestors, did this male think he was? Had his parents taught him no manners, none at all? What wolf thought it right to intrude and to build on already claimed and settled lands? It was obscene, and insult to the Nigori pack and its alpha. Rage rolled through him at the gesture of uncaring before he stilled, breathed out once and let it simmer at a controllable level within him. Maybe the male didn't know. Maybe he was slow. Maybe he didn't know that Kerrigan wanted to tear down the mud dens and destroy all evidence of another living place on his land.
And this male was a male despite his rainbow coloring and slim figure. His scent was of testosterone, not the female scent. And he spoke like a male, a young male at that. But his scent was older. Much older. Kerrigan's brows knitted in confusion. For such an old male the beast should have a brain big enough to be respectful of another packs territory. But wolves these days were slow. This one couldn't even blame the generation. Kerrigan took a moment, remaining silent before answering the male in his rough voice. "Why should I le' yew in'o me lan's? Yew hae defiled me pack by intruding an' buildin' ...'his," he growled. He shook his head at the male, snorting through his nose. The audacity of this animal was amazing.

Skyfire stepped back confused, he was not in the packlands. Was he? Suddenly everything came rushing back, what he had thought to be unclaimed land was the nigori marshlands. "I'm sorry if I was in the pack lands I thought the border was further off." he said holding back his anger as he kicked the stone den and it fell to the ground blending in with the surroundings. The other den stood standing though.
Give yourself a chance at being respective. Show the wolf you mean no harm remember that submission thing your mother taught you do it. A voice said inside of Skyfire. Skyfire then lowered his head in a low whine and fell over showing his stomach like a oversized pup. This meant he knew he was an alpha and he would make sure to not think he could over rule him.
Your a worthless Omega like this get up and show your proud now that you have showed him he is the boss. Skyfire did not move he made his eyes water and it made him look like a puppy. He was trying to earn the alphas trust, that was the key to everything. "I am sorry for this makeshift camp I shall destroy the other den soon, now could I join your pack? I promise to protect the pups with my life." Skyfire said finally getting up to his paws.

k e r r i g a n ! IT'S HARD TO SAY I'D RATHER STAY AWAKE WHEN I'M ASLEEP CAUSE EVERYTHING IS NEVER AS IT SEEMS ______________________________ It was a nice enough camp. But it was his land. Only problem. If the male had made this area right outside his borders, Kerrigan wouldn't be pissed. He would be amused and wary enough to send wolves to patrol the area to make sure that he wouldn't go over or eat prey. He'd even have invited him in. An it wasn't like his scent markers were stale. He could smell the deep scent of his pack not that far away. Maybe the male had been sleep walking and not paying attention. Made enough sense. Kerrigan controlled his anger and tilted his head as the male spoke. He could feel the hidden anger in the male. Kerrigan's hackles rose and he controlled his lips from peeling back at the threat to his dominance. Centuries of breeding couldn't stop the surge of aggression at the idea the male would be angry when it had been he who was at fault.
The den disappeared and the loner seemed to understand some part of his ancestry and rolled onto his back. Really, it usually irritated Kerrigan to have wolves posture as such, but right now it soothed his dominant side and his tail curled over his spine. He did not approach but left the wolf there. He even looked away, showing he didn't much care about any posturing. It wouldn't sway his mind. As he looked back again the wolf was even more pup like. If he didn't already have an Omega, he'd have given the role over to the male. He sighed out a breath and made himself act kinder to the wolf. He lowered his tail slightly and the male rose to his paws and as he spoke again Kerrigan's jaw almost dropped open.
What was going through this wolf mind that allowed him to say things? Like just removing it was going to fix everything. He had apologized but no real remorse lined his face. Kerrigan didn't know this wolf and he wouldn't trust him with his own life never mind that of pups! He shook his head but sighed out a breath. He was slow, but no threat to anyone. Now Leorian had a fight over who was lower. Kerrigan controlled the rolling of his eyes. "Yew may join t'e pack, bu' ye will be a regular pack member. Yer no' ta go near t'e pups. We hae to ken yew well firs'," he said, tilting his head, eyes kinder now, but no less formidable.

ooc// Okay I need more muse though.
Skyfire sighed with relief, thank god he did not eat me. He thought as he looked at the male. He looked like a fool after his posture, Skyfire would have to protect little pride as a male he had left. He lowered his head with a sigh, " At this rate your never going to trust me" he whispered. His body shifted in a stand. "Lead me to your camp?" he asked as he moved to the alpha's other side. The male looked at the ground then back at Kerrigan.
The male looked at Kerrigan again, the male was actually pretty good looking. His black coat with the lime green dots and the alphas strong frame was cool. It made Skyfire know he was the boss and not him. Although Skyfire felt like a filthy Omega let alone a rogue. Skyfire was amused by his figure, like a true male kerrigan was.
Skyfire looked at the entrance of the makeshift camp that would get destroyed probably. With a sigh he waited for kerrigan to lead him to the camp. What was his rank going to be at the moment? After all the alpha had told him never to go near the pups. How was he going to protect something he could not go near? Was he really not that trustful?

k e r r i g a n ! IT'S HARD TO SAY I'D RATHER STAY AWAKE WHEN I'M ASLEEP CAUSE EVERYTHING IS NEVER AS IT SEEMS ______________________________ He really didn't see why he tried some days. Some wolves just apparently didn't know the correct ways. First, the male had walked into his land and built a den, taking up shop where a pack already lived. First offense. Seeing as the scent marks were strong,t here was no way a wolf could mistakenly wander into camp. But maybe the male had a bad nose. Also, he had not even apologized about it, but had inserted himself by asking for a position, before his name was even spoken. Then, he had gotten angry. Well, dur, Kerrigan thought sarcastically, eyes narrowing. He had a right to be angry when wolves couldn't even follow simple rules that had been passed down from generations passed. What were parents teaching their pups this days? Was it to insult the higher wolves by making all the wrong moves? Kerrigan was starting to believe so, the longer he was in this male's company.
He could handle those like Mienzyhra. She had not know what to do, but she had tried and was shy. Hesitant and young. he could handle that. But this bumbling of everything, without a thought to the fact he was messing up, the wolf was clueless. Kerrigan sighed, knowing he wouldn't turn the male away, but also knowing the male wouldn't get a good rank until he learned. If the pack hadn't already had an omega -placed their by the wolf's own weird attitude and choice - Kerrigan would give this male the role until he understood correct speech and greeting tactics. But as it was, the wolf would watch others and be taught. Else he'd get his nose bitten off for acting stupid. Kerrigan's tail flicked and then his ears did the same, as the male spoke again. This time, something Kerrigan agreed with came out of the males muzzle. Or at least part of it.
"Aye, prob'ly no' 'he way yew wan'. Did yer mo'her no' 'each yew o' 'he manners needed ta join a pack and not insul' em?" he asked, his voice kinder. He then tilted his head and responded to the question. "See? 'He alpha offers the privileged o' goin' ta 'he camp. Is no' your righ' ta ask." His rumbling voice, keeping himself in check. Not to get angry when the male knew nothing. No point when the male wouldn't get it. He sighed and shook his head, closing his lime eyes as he gathered the pieces of himself together and put them into an order that would allow him to deal with this correctly.

Skyfire was hurt, he really was. His nose had been blocked up since he had a cold a small one too. He sneezed, "I'm really sorry for this uh, I did not catch your name wise alpha" He started off. The male did not want to make a bad first impression if he did it will be hard to even earn his rank into the pack. Skyfire sighed lowering his head in shame, he knew what he did wrong but something else touched and stabbed at Skyfires heart. "How can I learn from my family when I never had one?" he said the the alpha his eyes lowering now. The male could not help but to feel teased by the alpha, he knew the alpha was not teasing him but he felt like he was being teased.
His past was masked by his fake memories he did not know were fake. But he did know somewhere in his past his family had left him at a young age to die because he was almost always sick. The male had all those memories but the others were fake and he did not know. Maybe he would one day know of his true memories, but will he know they are the truth? Who knows all that he knows is that these he thinks are true memories but only some of his true memories remain.
Skyfire looked up at the male again, "I can now smell this is your land but I also smell my scent. I am horribly sorry, you see I had no family I had to take care of myself therefor I had it hard." the male meant what he said and with feeling too. At this rate though Kerrigan looked as if he would want to kick him to the brink of death. Skyfire lifted his ears to a point and listened for the males strong voice once more to reject him like many other have. Even though his memories were fake some of them were true because they were from since he came here.

Kerrigan sighed, his breath misting the air. His ears flicked in irritation. Sometimes he just didn't know what to do with these wolves. But at least this male was apologizing. More than he could say for some of the sorry creatures who had passed through. He waited a moment, listening until the male was done before responding. "Kerrigan. I be calle' Kerrigan." His voice wasn't gruff, but it wasn't easy going. This wolf would have to learn to be respectful. He was nice to those who didn't send out insults and challenges, even on accident. It was just...rudimentary knowledge that should be engraved in this wolf's DNA. The smell of markers should scream 'CLAIMED' and the the wolf should ask permission or go around. An alpha should cause a wolf to follow orders, not give them. It was just...He didn't know. It just got on his nerves and made it hard to deal with this wolf. He wanted to be nice, but it was so hard even for an alpha. He wasn't the kindest male anyway, but....this got on his last nerve.
He watched the male has he spoke again. His eyes softened slightly. So that was it. No one to teach him. Still, he couldn't figure out how this male had lived this long without learning the basic knowledge of wolves. He lowered his muzzle, rubbing it on his leg the equivalent of a human rubbing their face with a hand. He grumbled beneath his breath, not an angry sound, but something else. His ears cocked forward and he spoke in reply. "Tha' is sad, 'rue, an' i' woul' explain away many o' yer mis'akes, bu' some 'hings yew jus' know," he spoke, his voice softer, but no less strong. He twisted his tail. He knew he may be hurting the feelings of the brute but it was needed. Such a wolf would not be good to the pack if he constantly insulted others unknowingly. It would not end very well at all. Kerrigan's fangs flashed as he turned to lead the way to camp, knowing the other would follow.
The brute spoke though, stalling his motion and Kerrigan gave a soft snort. "Och aye, wi'hou' a family life is 'ard. Bu' many hae ha' i' harder 'han yew. Do no' complain, jus' be 'he bes' yew can. I ken well many who hae no' ha' i' as lucky as yew." Done speaking he jerked his head, indicating the other should come along before he bounded forward, this time setting a slower pace and not waiting for any words. The male would keep up. Water splashed up his legs, making the lime markings sizzle and heat with the touch.
translation -
"Kerrigan, I be called Kerrigan." -- "That is sad true, and it would explain away many of your mistakes, but some things you just know." -- "Yes, without a family life is hard. But many have had it harder than you. Do not complain, just be the best you can. I know well many who have not had it as lucky as you."[/blockquote]

Such strong words, any wolf could have said. Yes Skyfire had gone without a family. Yes, he had been through pain and hurt, but he had survived and others did have it worse that was why he was strong and they were not. The male had been almost killed at that but others well others have not been so lucky, Skyfire was lucky but why had it been him that survived? Kerrigan, the name was that of a very strong wolf and yet he was strong. Like the alpha had said, other had it harder. Skyfire had been rude, senseless blind to know where he was. Now he understood though, now he could show what he was really made of.
"I shall do my best and never back down. I really want to know what it is like to be in a pack. Kerrigan consider myself a loyal member I shall do whatever it takes to earn your trust." Skyfire said his head was still hanging low, it would be until he could no longer be ashamed of himself. Being rude was just not his way and he often did not do it. He had learned the basics of the wolf world but somehow respect had slipped the question. He continued on and stopped at where the camp was. It was amazing, like a network of dens working together it reminded him of his old home.
"So, what is you wish me to do first? Hunt, guard, rest. I shall be ready for anything." Skyfire wondered what he was getting himself into. When he meant Anything he meant it. Death by Kerrigans own claws and teeth death by anyone in the pack he was ready to be loyal. Although being testy and fearful of things would make it hard for him but is softness could never get the better of him. He was still strong and would be loyal, without a doubt he would be loyal.

Kerrigan's eyes scanned the downtrodden wolf and his jowls pulled into a grimace. Maybe he was being to hard on the beast. Yes, he had made a mistake, but usually the alpha wasn't this harsh with those slip ups. He sighed out a breath. Truly the male didn't need trouble from him, and he seemed to be a nice enough wolf really. Kerrigan clamped his muzzle closed and closed his eyes for a brief second before lifting them again s the male spoke. Kerrigan gave the male a low smile of approval. The wolf shouldn't feel like he had to earn his trust, but the damage is done and this may make the wolf a better pack member all around. He felt a movement of guilt but then it was gone. Life was life and the wolf should know better. He refused to feel bad. They came to the camp and the wolf seemed to be impressed already, without having to climb the incline that existed to get to the flat, plateau-ish patch of dry land. He curled his tail, pride tickled at it. It wasn't much, but it was home and safety. He was glad, at least, the wolf liked the camp.
He tilted his head as the other spoke again. He grinned this time, teeth flashing. He chuckled lightly at the others' enthusiasm before shaking his head. "Now don't get ahead of yourself, lad. You need to first see the rest of the camp, and choose a den. Comfortable first, then jobs>' Kerrigan turned away after that, his burr fading on the air as he loped to the incline of about 6 feet and hauled himself up. The path was smoothed by wolves, an easy enough scramble, with trees covering it from view. He looked down at Skyfire, lifting an eyebrow and tilting his head. "Come along then." He sighed then, and turned, letting the male find his own way up. A test of sorts, though the beast needed no more. Kerrigan tilted his head and looked over the camp. A few wolves milled about and offered greetings, but the majority were out on patrol. Good. His tail curled as his gazed over the rocks and tree roots that made the underground dens before looking over his shoulder for the other wolf.
ooc - i always forget this thread. your wolf has been accepted so you can join other threads and make them in the territory. sorry this has taken so long, i'll be better from now on.
