I took this from Donny's Kaiju Forum Kaiju Galaxy
What you do is post what lessons you've learned so far in life.
Things I have learned:
- When you have feelings of need to see someone, don't ignore them. You never know if that would have been the last time you could have seen them.
- Spend the time with others while you can... You never know what event might happen that might take them away from you. Car accidents, deaths, and the like.
- Don't take life for granted. Live every day like its your last. You never know if it might be.
- Treasure every moment you have with your significant other. When they're away, you realize all the little things they do that mean so much to you. Don't take the little things for granted.
- Sometimes you just need to stand back and let life take its course, no matter how much you want to interfere or steer it. Sometimes, time is the only answer.
- Suicide is never the answer... there is always someone out there who would do anything for you to show you how much they care. I don't know how many times I came close to making this mistake. There are always better solutions.
These are only a few things I've learned in life so far. I'll probably post more later.

Things I have learned:
- When you have feelings of need to see someone, don't ignore them. You never know if that would have been the last time you could have seen them.
Story behind this:
A week before my grandmother passed away, I was trying to convince my parents that we needed to go see her. They told me that it wasn't an option and that we would go see her the following week. I didn't realize it until later, but I had this important gut feeling that was telling me that we needed to see her the previous weekend to her death... I never got to say goodbye and it hurts to this day.
Second story: Yet again, a week before my Aunt Norma's death (My grandma Ward's sister), I had the urge to try to tell my parents we should go see her. They, once again, wouldn't listen. My dad told me it wouldn't matter... she had Alzheimer's and Parkinson's and wouldn't have recognized us anyway. I spent a great deal of my childhood with her and she was one of the only links I had left to my Grandma Ward. She died a week after I suggested going to see her to my parents.
I can't ignore these two events... its too coincidental and there was something about the urgency I was feeling that told me this was more than purely coincidence.
