Guadalupe shivered from head to tail once the large wolf had passed around him. He was quite intimidating, and that did exactly comfort him into joining a pack. He attempted to scoff at the larger wolf for saying he had better join a pack.
He sad down with an undignified thump, and looked at the female with his curious yellowing orange eyes. Well, know what? This wolf lost her treasure, which might have been just as bad as that large, terrifying wolf taking it- perhaps even worse? He wondered blandly why she was not where she was before, but obviously closer to him. He tilted his head to the side as he decided it be in his best interest to forget the large Alpha of the Mountains.
"Hmmmphhh," he made a muffled sound to suppress a yawn, and blinked slowly. "So, nice day, isn't it?" He insisted on asking again, allowing himself a sheepish, puppy grin. She was such an odd thing, she always seemed so much more timid- of course, compared to the alpha a wolverine might come off timid.

In the absence of the monstrous brute, Ravine felt her typical state of mind return. She shrugged to the male's question - why in the world was he so bent on the weather? The young female glanced away, amber eyes sorrowful, preparing to share her name with the blue male when a glint in the grasses caught her eyes. She turned towards it, tilting her head nervously. Stepping high, the female took a look to place where he brutish fiend was - quite far off, it seemed, as she looked back to the glittering object. With one paw, she delicately scooped it up - the pearl. The black cord was repaired by some oddity of magic, and the pearl was, once again, rock-like and lifeless. She stared at it in utter disbelief. Had the tales of true ownership been real? Or had the pearl's acts been caused by something else? Without any more thoughts, mind in a vague cloud of numbness, the female tilted her head through the cord and the pearl fell back to its rightful place about her neck. It gave a contented glow - more than it had done in a long time. Perhaps the ordeal had made it realize just how important Ravine was to it. She turned back to the blue male, face in mild shock.
"Yes.. lovely day," she managed. Then she forced a smile to her face. "Forgive my bad manners. I'm Ravine Arnou. Sorry you had to see me like that." She was feeling rather ashamed of her actions, for now that she knew the truth of the pearl's rightful ownership, she no longer feared for its safety. It seemed that it would always come back to her.

Lucid managed to glance back just as Ravine had placed the pearl upon her neck again. He flicked his tails and padded into the shadows... but before doing so and making his final exit from them for the time being, he let loose a bone-chilling howl much unlike his normal howl in order to scare them into believing the monster was on its way. The howl seemed like one that no ordinary wolf or creature should make.
Lucid then sneered to himself and padded toward the mountains. His tails were held high and his wings tucked under, before he realized he could take to the air and circle them from above for a second before flying toward the terra. It was getting late, as it was, so his shadow might seem a little menacing.
He did just that, flew back toward them and circled from above.
"They say the creature takes the form of a wolf.. it could be anyone or anything around you... who knows. Not much is known about it.. only that it thirsts for blood. A single wolf cannot take it down... nor could a mere two wolves. It would take the strength of a whole pack, and even then it may not be enough. Think that over before you go dismissing the idea of a pack. There's power in numbers and if you want the safest numbers, my pack has the largest."[/b] He sneered before taking toward the Mountains.
((Lucid has left the area))

"I'm G-" The male was about to respond before he was cut off. He was extremely curious as to how the pearl had teleported like it did, but do to the fact she held it so dear, he decided that he should stay quite about it, besides, it wasn't like it was any of his business.
However, when the shadow loomed over him, which had been the reason why he had fallen silent, his heart skipped a beat. He felt like prey, at that moment, like a large hawk had flown over his head and was coming in for the kill. He prayed it was just a cloud, by the flap of the wings and the voice of the male from earlier was undeniable.
Was he that determined to try and convince them to join his pack? He clenched his teeth as the wolf above him spoke, feeling powerless to do anything. No, I'll never join your pack. Just you wait, I'll show you a loner can survive alone. I'll show you I don't need your family. I'll show everyone, I'll show them all. I can survive. I will survive...
... I have too.
When the male had flown off, his tension did not ease. Speaking in a growl, in a bittered off voice that was rare for Guadalupe, he finished what he was saying earlier. "I am Guadalupe." At first, he was going to tell her it was alright, that he didn't mind her actions. But now, now all he could think about what that other wolf.
Who was he to tell him what to do? He didn't know him at all, yet he thought he had the right to waltz over and tell him how to live his life? Oh, sure, pack life was great for him- the Alpha! But he had seen what a pack could do. He knew how a pack could turn against you when things got too hard. He knew what would happen if you just happened to be the next weakest wolf in a hard time. He knew.
... That wolf would be show some day. He would pad right into his territory, some time down the line, and just stare his heartless pools of yellow in the eyes, and tell him right there and then that he had survived all those years. The wolf could shoot him down right there, and kill him even, but he wouldn't care one bit. He would just go and show he was wrong, and then he could be torn to pieces. But, that wolf would see just how wrong he was some day, whether he liked it or not.

Heartened by the reappearance of her pearl, Ravine had begun to feel a bit more jovial - until the shadow passed above her head and she looked up with amber eyes. The brute was flying above them, ranting his silly speech over again once more. Her eyes narrowed angrily, infuriated by the silly stunts of the beast. Why, if she were to join a pack, did he honestly think that she would desire to join his? Glancing at the blue male, she thought it unlikely that he would want to join the brute's pack either. As the cruel alpha finally departed, Ravine heard the blue male's calling for the first time: Guadalupe. An.. interesting.. name, she supposed. She frowned. His demeanor seemed to have changed. Probably due to the alpha, she supposed.
"He's quite the piece of work," she growled angrily. "I've never seen such a monster."

The wolf laughed at her words, still staring up at the empty sky with his bright, sunny eyes, trying to relax a bit. After all, it surely couldn't be proper to be so furious when there was no longer anything to be furious at. "Reminds me of my father, personally," mused Guadalupe, wagging his tail in a friendly way."I'd really, really would hate to be in his pack."
He paused for a moment, and looked back at... Ravine, was it? She was a nice wolf, surely not like that alpha.
"... I know it's kind of sudden, but he might have a point. A lone wolf might not be able to survive out here," he spoke slowly and softly, afraid he might upset the female who had been so much nicer compared to the other wolf. He didn't want another enemy. "But like I said, I can't join a pack, I just can't. But, surely, two wolves would be better than one, right?" He wasn't quite sure how she would respond, but he tried his hardest not to offend her- he just wanted company, and she was the nicest he had seen in a long, long time.

Ravine's ears flickered uncertainly. He was asking her to travel with him? Well.. it had been quite the long time since she had had a friend to travel alongside... perhaps it was in her best interest to join this male. She observed him closely with her amber eyes and gave a small sigh of consent.
"So, you want me to come with you?" she tested, tilting her head and watching him still. "I.. I suppose I could do that." She smiled brightly. She liked this blue wolf, as a friend or as something else she couldn't tell. He reminded her a little of her brother, Daemon, with his sunny outlook. The female gave a flick of her tail, stepping closer to Guadalupe and looking up at the sky.
"We could move on today, if you like," she said slowly, eyes fixated upon the sun. "There is still time in the day." She looked away, blinking the spots from her eyes, and another glow caught her eye. Looking down at her chest, she could see the pearl, glowing a vague, pretty pink. That was.. an odd color for the pearl to take on...

A hint of fear spread through the male for a long moment- what if she didn't say yes? What if she had taken it offensively? What if she- like so many- found him annoying or... His fur prickled with anxiety, as he waited for her answer, his yellow-and- (ever so slightly)- orange-ing eyes staring her down, timidly and worriedly, and no where near like the yellow, raging pools of the other male who's eyes were clear and intimidating. He only wanted a companion, a friend, someone who he knew would be at his side and who he could share his loneliness with. Perhaps he would have to keep wandering?
His heart dropped when sighed and had asked him, "So, you want me to come with you?" Was that a no? It wasn't a yes- that was for sure. The momentary pause seemed to drag on forever for the blue wolf, and he could only quietly nod as she tilted her head.
Please, please- just this once say yes. Even if for a day, Ravine, please. I... He pleaded softly in his head, in such a short period his mind flung off thousands of thoughts, taking the chance of her saying no rule his mind and emotions.
"I.. I suppose I could do that." For only a moment, his mind stopped, and then echoed her words a second later. She smiled, flashing bright white teeth and he could only smile back, before his mind filled with thousands of thoughts again. She had said YES. Maybe, perhaps, not a I'D LOVE TOO, but it was a YES. He dipped his head with gratitude, she had no idea... Or, maybe she did... How lonely he had been for so long.
His tail wagged slightly with happiness, and he nearly didn't hear her comment on the time of day and how they could get a move on. However, once the words whispered into his ears, he was at his paws, his tail lashing with pure excitement.
He didn't even notice the glow, even if he had he did not react or pay heed to it, he circled around in a chasing his own tail way, and stopped. "Alright! I'm just wandering- I don't care which way we go, as long as it's not that way." He nodded- his tail flicked but with its raging waving it would have been hard to notice- toward the direction of the mountains in which the Alpha had taken off.
"Any particular direction you're heading, Ravine?"
