A large, pink shape soared high in the sky, nearly above the clouds. The scent boarder was directly bellow the winged creature, as it neither moved from its spot, nor seemed to be waiting for anything in particular. It was above the Mountain-Loner boarder, watching over the land which seemed so quiet. Smoke rose quietly into the sky, coming from the Mountain Alpha's den. The large creature shuffled where she hovered, cutting the air with a strange two wing flaps, unlike her usual once every few moments.
So, he has made his choice? I've waited too long! He has not waited long enough. Humph. Well, I'll show him. Him and his femme pack... The large wolf thought in bitter silence to herself. She was huge for a normal wolf, her fur color blindingly bright in the sunny sun. Her pelt rippled with her strength and rage, as even her naturally sweet, beautiful eyes seemed to be dark and cold as they glared at the birthplace with her narrowed eyes.
She turned in her place, her pink tail whipping around her like a long ribbon, and she flapped furiously again, this time three times, and dove down, far away from this place she loathed so much. She dove to the ground, turning so her wing feathers nearly brushed the grass bellow on one side, as she circled around and then her wings flapped and she was up, high in the sky again, soaring. She circled the area, looking for her prey, and caught site of a herd of caribou. She smirked, allowing herself to get right above them, and dove down again, coming straight down at her prey.
Her favorite part about the hunt was the shadows bellow her. It often started a bit off center of her prey, unless the sun was directly above her, but unless one of the caribou looked up, they probably assumed it to be a cloud. They normally found out at the last second. She let out a deafening bark, and watched all the caribou as they startled- most of them bolted, giving her the chance to snatch up one of them with ease and take it down.
Only a few moments later she was furiously tearing apart her meal, more out of her rage than anything else. She needed a plan now… She had already mulled over ideas, just in case, but her mind wandered back to one in particular. Making her own pack, and taking over the Packlands. She could do that, surely she could. She had no territory to call her own, but she could still form a pack. She stopped eating, and raised her crimson-stained pink muzzle to overlook the land. First, she needed members.
And now was the time to start looking.

(ooc: ehck why not XD? I'll post to this soon, gotta watch an episode of lost !
ugh, excuse crumminess. it's going to take me a bit to get back into creative writing groove D=)
Whilst the pink female tore into her meal, a raven dared to steal a glance of the carcass of the caribou that was being torn limb from limb. The bird even dared to land just but a few feet away, squawking quietly as he watched from the ground. And even as its caw came from its beak, an echoing snarl came from the grasses just behind it. "There you be... litt--" Kitkun paused mid-sentence, her eyes feasting upon the large, brightly hued female before her, digging furiously into the freshly killed caribou "At least this one is fresh..." Kitkun muttered, folding her wings to her side, setting herself behind her companion. She still stood, watching silently from behind dark eyes, her muscles speaking not of threatening motives. The ears atop of her head flicked back and forth, listening to all that went on behind and before her.
The comparison between the two ladies was outstanding, as the wind that rustled the grasses almost seemed to be able to pick Kitkun up and take her with it. But still, the tiny lady stood planted firmly to the ground. The other female, was large. And that fact made Kitkun a little nervous. The raven hopped closer to Kitkun, and the little female took comfort in this, her adopted pet and tour-guide.
"Did I interrupt something?"

Her pelt bristled with the fury of a thousand starving wolves, her lips pulled back, and she dug her claws into the ground. The scent burned her muzzle, and she couldn’t help but snarl loudly. Her soft, melted chocolate eyes set on the fae before her, and her ears pinned backwards. She wanted a pack… But a female? Ugh, was this the best she could get?
However, even if I look scary right now, I can work this to my… Advantage… It’s just a piece of prey I’m fighting over, and… Then again, she might just be a useless pup. She obviously didn’t look like a pup, the female, she was proportional, but she was so small! The large, naturally hating of other she-wolves, raised her heads and spread out her golden angel wings as far as she could, pelt bristling.
This wolf had the nerve to say something so simple, something so dull witted. Did SHE interrupt something? Hmph. The huge bright wolf’s eyes narrowed, and her huge tail ran through the grass like a huge fan, making the grass behind her lay flat for a moment. Her lips pulled back more, and her jaws opened, as if ready to lunge and snap the other wolf’s neck.
”This is MINE,” she snapped, taking a paw step over her catch towards the smaller wolf. ”What do YOU think you’re doing here, HUH?” Her voice was surprisingly quiet and hushed, as her ears, although pinned back, were listening for sounds of other wolves. She would hate to appear this was in front of a male- in front of a possible future pack mate.
((P= Sorry 'bout that... She can be kind of... Jerk-y to girls xD))

ooc:tee-hee that's fine! gah, I can't seem to play her the way I want to yet lol soon 'nough once I figure her out lol The black eyes that set in her tiny skull flickered something a bit when the larger faerie glowered at her. Kitkun's ears twitched a bit, her own wings opening up to their full wing span, which compared to the other wasn't all impressive. But did this daunt the tiny fae? Never. Kit's scruff stood on end, her lips parting a bit to reveal her slightly stained canines. However instead of puffing herself up, she took a step back."I've eaten already, thanks, so no need to think I'm stealing it..." Kitkun knew she sounded particularly weak, but deep inside she knew she'd get a chance to one up this other lady. She paused a moment thinking carefully on her next words to the rather demanding question that was proposed to her. What was she doing here? Heck, it'd sound silly to say she followed her winged friend who had taken her from place to place in the plains, but it was the truth. "I was just passing through. If you'd like, I could let you be to your...meal" Kit, however, made no move to move. She watched the other silently, her scared muzzle never leaving the direction of the female. Psht..if you could call that carcass a meal...Kitkun thought disdainfully. No need to say it though; she knew when competition was going to be fierce.

The female seemed ready to defend herself, but certainly not aggressive in the slightest. Did she know she was beat? The soft, always sweet eyes of the angry fae relaxed, and she let her lips fall back. She wouldn’t need her teeth to tear this she-wolf to pieces anyway. The other female definitely seemed like she wasn’t going to run off with her tail behind her legs. Her claws tore the ground.
However, Bella’s ear twitched, as she heard the female defend herself. She wasn’t looking to steal prey. Well, that was good- a scrounger would only get tore to shreds by the massive pink wolf. Adding to it, she said she was only passing through. She even offered to leave, even if she made no move to do so… An offer was an offer. She wasn’t going to leave unless told to or forced to… It was nearly defiant, as if she was trying to prove or pretend that size didn’t scare her.
Was it because she looked like a huge, fluffy, pink pushover? Ahaha.
”You’re name?” she asked simply, sounding a bit nicer, although she didn’t bother to hide her slight bitterness, however, she made sure that it would sound more protective over her meal. She was being nice enough to allow the other wolf a chance. Her golden wings folded to her sides, returning back to where they preferred to be.
She brushed the hulk of meat back with a paw, moving in front of it, and sat down with a thump, and her fur relaxed. Her head was held quite high, and her eyes still tore down through the air to stare at the other female. She certainly was worried about this femme being a threat.

The fae found the mood in the situation take a turn, and quite possibly a turn for the better. Watching the gold wings fold back to the large female's side, Kitkun took suit and folded her raven hued ones to her rib cage gingerly, and allowing her lips to relax. Still her ears flicked from noise to noise, keeping a constant state of mind to be mindful of this situation still. She was trusting, but to not be too trusting as her scar forcably reminded her sometimes.
The question, asked and immediately an answer followed as this question didn't needed to be walked upon like egg shells. "Kitkun." Short and sweet, and straight to the point. However she paused a moment, wondering if perhaps she should followed lead and ask the fae her name. Thinking it couldn't hurt, she asked quietly, making sure to not hold the larger ladie's gaze any longer than two seconds, but also making sure that still caught the other's glance every now and then. "And yours?"

There was a silent response to the name- Kitkun -she flicked her ear, her soft brown eyes blinking. Her lips curled back as her tonuge ran over the quickly drying blood. She didn't want ugly yellow-brown stains on her beautiful teeth. The fae's eyes flickered away and back a few times, probably out of habit. It was rude to stare, sometimes even being a threat or a challenge. This was exactly why the light pink female glowered down at the other fae, unafriad of seeming to be pushing a threat.
This was a serious time, and these were serious matters. Her ear lashed up and down as the small, pretty femme asked for her name. The piercings in her ear jingled at the fierceness of the action, causing a short, sweet sound. This Kitkun had no reason to be asking for her name. This fae didn't deserve to hear her name! However, she knew she would need packmembers... And she would need her packmembers to know her name. Her teeth gritted together for a moment.
"Bella." She replied coldly, and then lowered her head, leaning forward to the fae, her eyes narrowing coldly. "Tell me, Kitkun, do you seek any sort of power at all? Do you want to join me, help me make a pack?" Her voice was sharp, dripping with ambition and strength. A smirk grew on one side of her muzzle, making her small mark on her fur shift bellow her eye. If this fae said no, she wouldn't mind tearing the she-wolf to shreads. Another female was just more competion. Only females who joined her ranks would be spared, and only if they would be good enough as a pack wolf.
No weakness.
Her ears twitched, no male seemed to be coming, her true intentions could indeed be shown infront of this one. She could and would be able to kill her without having to worry about any possible mate watching. Her tail flicked behind her, curling over her paws and then returning behind her, and her muscles tensed. Even though she was still sitting, she looked as if she was about to lunge.

ooc; I may have my muse -snugs Rage Against the Machine- ee
Kitkun sensed that asking for the pink fae's name was a rude thing to do. Disdain coursed through her veins as the dark faerie's pulled herself up higher. Kit didn't see what was so wrong in asking for a name in return. She grew tired of playing the submissive one and not get any slack cut. She no longer made herself look so much smaller than the other female, and rolled her shoulders back lifting her head higher, the dark eyes narrowing to the slightest degree. She was, in fact, the born heiress to a now deceased pack. She knew how these things worked, and Kitkun didn't like how this...Bella cow played.
She listened to the other's plea for a pack, as the massive pink skull snaked towards her own visage. Strike two. Kitkun's hackles bristled ever so slightly, someone being so close to her scar, and in her personal space caused an involuntary shiver to rip through her tiny bodice. It wasn't necessarily an involuntary action of her hackles being teased, nor was it completely her decision to puff her fur up.
Did she seek power? What darkling didn't? Psht. The slightly degree of her narrowed eyes increased ever so slightly as the other pulled herself together as if to spring at her. Kitkun continued to stand her place, her wings however now hovered ever so slightly from her ribcage; no reason to be completely foolish and so she ready herself to defend. Strike numero tres.
"It seems like your the one in search of power, Bella..." Kit sneered ever so slightly, a mirroring smirk matched Bella's upon her own scared muzzle. "And the way you go about this, friend is all wrong. I will forgive your insults that definitely seems to be fueled by an insecurity by accepting your request in joining you. I think it'd be..." Kitkun paused for a second, allowing the bigger fae to allow her words sink into that thick skull of hers. Kitkun was under the belief the bigger one was, the more one would relay upon pure brawn to overcome some foes. And whilst that approached work for some, sometimes planting a mental seed in a tiny brain could spark a bigger reaction than breaking bones. "Fun." Kitkun's sneer swung into motion and became a smirk, her dark eyes glistening ever so softly. Kitkun continued to watch the fae, and noticed it appeared she was looking for someone, or keeping a watch out for something.
"Waiting for someone?"
And so, Kitkun waited, patiently and watching for more signs of weakness in the other fae.

The small one seemed to be a bit defiant. Her claws tensed on the ground, and rose her head in response to Kit's movement. Her hackles bristled, and Bella smirked more, saying not a word. She would let it go, she would let the female get rilled up. Bella lived to watch other's reactions. The wolf shivered, somewhat without meaning too. The fae's wings moved ever so slightly, and she seemed ready to defend herself. Bella's ear twitched again, although it made no sound.
The fae's words made Bella's expression brighter, and she was very, very amused by the sneer she was given. It didn't bother her, Kitkun was perfectly correct in every sense of the word. She couldn't- well, she could - deny that. Her second statement made the pink-furred muzzle twitch downwards for a moment, being truely honest to her feelings was never a good thing, but she could careless when it came to a small, petite femme. She had agreed, and Bella pulled her head back, lifting it up fully, and could only let her delightful smriking grin grow larger, her teeth showing fully. Kitkun's words had stopped, as if she was looking for the proper word, although the look made her feel as if the small wolf knew what to say, but was waiting for something. Then, she continued, as if deciding the wait was good enough. Fun. She had said. Was this a game to her? Hmn, well, Bella was playing a game herself... Perhaps they were alike?
Nyah, she was stronger. More deciving... Better. Her tail flicked behind her. Alert as ever, she listened for any sound of another wolf, but found herself alone with this fae. Kit asked a question, which drew her attention and made her brown eyes refocus (not that they had left her) on the wolf.
"I don't get caught off guard," she responded casually, making it sound exactly like that was all she was doing. Her grin left her face, but she smiled still, her ears pricking up to full height, and her feathers ruffled in their spots. She blinked slowly, and for a moment looked away, her eyes gazing over the land, wondering if her ears had lied, before looking straight back to the other wolf.

The young fae watched Bella silently, inspecting the reactions she got from her words with thorough inspection. At least her own reactions didn't cause the other one to leap at her. So all was good so far. Kitkun kept this thought inside her tiny bodice, and all the while now looking directly up her own snout and down Bella's. She watched her eyes unfocus, and the feeling of being stared blankly at, 'caused Kit to perk her own ears up, scanning all that behind her and before her for noises. She refused to take her eyes off of Bella however, and her wings shivered gently, getting ready to spring out of the way should it be necessary.
She saw the other's ears perk up higher, and now Kitkun really stood at attention. She hadn't caught sound, scent or sight of whatever it was Bella had.
"What is it?" Kitkun asked, hushed, but not in a whisper. Her dark eyes twinkling. Could this be a game, perhaps? Maybe an ambush? Heck yes! Her not completely found powers tingled in her blood as she readied herself for whatever it was that was coming; or whatever Bella had thought was coming. The dark eyes that set themselves pleasantly in her skull darkened even more so, showing that her eyes were not infact, a hundred percent black to begin with.

What's that? Oh! It's a butterfly! So late in the season? FUN! Her little thoughts were rushed and excited, glad to have something to do and some way to entertain herself. She bounded happily, ignoring the cold air around her, and chased after the winged wonder before her. She paid no attention to where it led her, only to it... thinking in her mind her own little scenario and world.
The mighty hunter is on the prowl, hunting her prey and finding a meal. Nothing else mattered.. just the prey and the predator. She thought this, playing the whole scene out and living in her own little imaginary world for the time being.
She hadn't paid attention to where she was going, only to the butterfly, so she soon found herself far from her little make-shift cave and den. She didn't even know which way to go, though that thought was far from her mind at the moment. All she cared about was her 'prey'.
She kept her eyes on the butterfly, when she should have been paying attention to where she was going. When it was too late, she hadn't even noticed until she bumped right into the back of a pink colored femme. Rolling a few feet backward, she slowly got to her paws and shook her head. Once her vision came back fully, she looked around, realizing she had lost her prey. A sad whimper escaped her maw before she realized there were two fully grown wolves before her.
She snatched the opportunity. She stood proudly and announced her name. "I'm Felisity! What's your names? Do you want to play?" And without waiting for an answer, she instantly crouched into a playful bowing position, ready to play and have fun with these two stranger wolves. She didn't even know if they would hurt her or accept her.. but that's Felisity for you.. so naive and trusting.

The wolf before Bella seemed all to interested in what was about to happen. She seemed alert in an instant, curious, attentive. However, her paws probably didn't detect the small rumble of something behind the pink fae. Her ears twisted back, and she tensed. It was small, whatever it was. Nothing to worry about. Her eyes were set on Kitkun, who seemed ready for whatever was coming. The dark eyes of the other female glittered so brightly, yet seemed to darken more. Her large, golden wings flexed to full height, as the small bundle of fur collided into her from behind, before rolling back and landing with a hhmph.
She swivled around, taking a step back towards Kitkun, and her lips pulled back and she let out a low hissing sound- a very quiet growl which made her sound more like a cat than a wolf. There the pup was, looking around curiously before making a tiny upset sound. She was brightly colored, mixed up, and rather strange looking all around. If it wasn't a pup, such carelessness would have gotten her killed... And even so... She snorted, as the pup so boldly introduced herself. Where there was a pup, there should be parents.
"Why, you little..." she hissed in her growl, taking a silent step past where she was, moving closer to the pup. "No, I do NOT want to play." However, a parent who was so miscaring to have misplaced their pup did not deserve one. Pups were easier to teach, to get to think your way... But this pup would probably be just a waste of time. Nonetheless, Bella could use a set of paws to keep Kitkun busy. Her brown eyes shifted to Kit, and she suddenly looked calmer. Her ears pricked up, and a small smile went on her face, and her tail wagged softly.
"But maybe my comrade wouldn't mind, sweetie," she woofed, trying to sound convincing and friendly. She normally wasn't this... Generous... Around other females. That, and she had let her emotions get the best of her. Hmpph. Really smooth, Bell, really smooth. She hid her anger at herself well now, her bright brown eyes not betraying her in the slightest, as she waited for the answer from her "comrade", Kitkun.

(ooc: Sorry! I had some craziness happen)
Kit's wings unfurled to their full wingspan as she barely saw the little fuzz ball roll into the larger pink fae's hind end, her hackles on end, and teeth bared. She had no clue what it was until Bella had spun around, and stood in front of her, and in the same instant, the wings pulled back to her dainty rib-cage, Her hackles settled and her teeth went back into hiding. It was just a little-she wolf. Kitkun rolled her shoulders and flexed her talons into the soft loam below her, the dark eyes no longer glistening in their shadowy glory, but watched the child rather amused.
Kitkun continued to be amused when Bella conversed with the young lady--right up to the point of being called comrade. It puzzled her slightly, and that much was apparent on her scared visage; did that mean that this pink fae was her Alphess, and she finally had a home again? It then dawned on her what Bella had volunteered her to do. Well it didn't bother her to play with the youngster, it bothered her that this youngster was in fact roaming the plains unaccompanied.
"Uh, yeah, sure. Why not? Felisity, you said? I'm Kitkun."
Kitkun offered a much more convincing smile then Bella did, as hers was probably way more sincere. The darkling fae didn't care much; pups were a weak spot in her black heart, especially pups that didn't have a mother for a tag-along. And she could honestly care less of Bella saw this weakness. Kit looked over to Bella, unsure what this pink lady was planning, and wishing that perhaps she'd let her in on the plan.

Felisity's ears perked at the thought of play. She had a friend! She hadn't even noticed the exchange between them... those were adult matters and way over her head. She didn't notice the not so genuine smile of the pink femme, but she didn't care... she had a friend!
"You will? Really? What games do you know? Do you know how to play at all? You seem kind of old to be playing games... I thought only pups played games? How old are you? Kitkun is it? That's a pretty name. Where are you from? Why is she such a bright pink? Why are you both such few colors? I'm hungry. Do you have anything to eat? Want to see what I can do? It's really cool, I promise!" She bounced in place excitedly while she spoke and quickly pranced away from the two wolves for a moment to demonstrate her ability.
She looked behind her to her black and yellow tail and grinned. She began to chase it, faster and faster and faster, moving awkwardly across the grass back toward the two femmes, nearly unknowingly. She finally caught it and turned to face Kitkun with her tail clasped firmly in her mouth. It was a spectacle to see, but she though it was an amazing feat.
"Fsee? Tould joo I 'ad a coo' ting!" She spit her tail out of her mouth and looked back to the female who was going to play with her.
"What shall we doooooo?" She looked up at the female with stars in her eyes, filled with excitement.

Still not a sign of a single male. The pup's mom was no where to be found, and Kit was playing her part like a good little packmember. It wasn't much of a pack, but it would work. Maybe they could take over the forest first... They had the least amount of packmembers, correct? At least, from what she knew, they had no alpha. She could probably beat them with one paw.
"Amazing," she told Felisity with a warm smile and a praising voice. Not that she actually cared, but her tone and features were convincing- the guardian's gift to her.
...Well, not yet. She wanted another wolf on her side before her take over. It was disipointing to know that her third pack member was merely a pup, but she was a pup that with any luck would learn to be as good as Kit seemed to be. She stood rather calmly with her gaze planted on the small, weird femme-pup for a moment longer as she thought, and blinked calmly at she might as well have been her Beta female- she seemed to fit Bella's pack and goals well enough. She seemed too confident to be weak, so with any luck she would prove useful.
Now it was just a choice about what to do. She didn't want to stay around while her pupsitting ally played, but she felt it wrong to leave her new packmates. She honestly wanted to find a male- but that seemed all too unlikely. " I'll be back by sunset," she commented blandly. The tiny pup seemed a bit oblivious to just about anything- she asked a lot of questions but not all of them had to be answered anyway. She spoke in a quiet voice, one that meant it was reserved for Kitkun's ears only, not that the pup couldn't hear it. She tried to sound boring- pups never liked boring things. "Scout the area- look for shelter-, see if I can find others to persade. We can talk about things after the pup is sleeping. I'm sure you'd like hear my plans."
