Silent as a mouse, she crept through the spinely trees and wet marsh, more silently than any wolf could ever manage. The green coat was a big too bright to hide in the swamp well, but that was alright. It didn't matter that she could be seen, only that she was a quite as the owl flying by her side. She had been practicing being silent, despite the fact she was often a hyper ball of fluff... She was still fluffy and spazzy, but she had an eerie control over herself now that Sini had told her that Kerr would like he better if she wasn't in his fur all the time. And actually useful, of course.
She was getting older now, too. The green femme was no longer just a pup, she was growing into her paws very well now. The silent hunter glided through the trees, directing her around the territory with ease. Soon they would have circled the whole territory. Kerrigan would be proud, she hoped. So far she hadn't to come across any wolves. Sometimes they came in large groups, and sometimes a wolf would stray until her alpha came and scared them off for trying to steal prey. Her paws itched as she ran, and she skidded to a stop in the wet marsh, splashing up a bit of murky water. She glanced around, sniffing the air, and smelt a mouse. Her ears honed in on it, but she couldn't pinpoint it.
Not that she was hunting now. But she really wished she could be a better pack wolf. The mouse made a short, single split-second cry as the swoop of a silent bird snatched it up. Her green tail wagged like a banner, impressed by her sight-filled friend. A shiver filled her pelt and she shook it off, racing off through the woods, determined to continue even with her friend trailing behind. She nearly ran into a tree about five times, half stumbling around roots, but she did pretty well without Sini, despite not knowing this bit of territory very well.
Lucy! The cry roared through her ears and suddenly she was sent off her paws and face first in a tree trunk. She crumpled to the ground in the next moment, whimpering quietly as the mud clung at her fur, and a cool breeze blew through her fur.
