A golden stream of light graced the land of the marshes, breaking gracefully through the thick canopy as if it wasn’t even there. The light shimmered and sparkled with warmth and with knowledge, with some higher purpose other than to illuminate and warm the land. The trees seemed to lean into its presence, reaching their branches to soak up its purity and its grace. It was as if the great spirits themselves decided to take over the job of the sun. Which partially was true…
A hearty, booming chuckle rolled through the land, the trees seemed to shiver with its goodness, the waters rippled gently from the force.
”Kerrigan…” The hearty laughter echoed. Kerrigan, you have been called to. You have been called. Speak with me, Kerrigan.” The laughter rolled again with knowing, with health, with heart.

he woofed politely, but loud and rough as was his usually. No pride was lost here, but still respect was there in his soul, his eyes, his heart, and his posture. he flicked his ears forward and waited with an air of patience and yet of waiting for the being to speak to him once again.[/blockquote][/ul]

The great voice spoke once more, jolly with laughter.
"Yes, yes brother Kerrigan, yes I have!"
From the skies, the very area where the light emanated, a form glided gently from the heavens. A great dragon, its size comparable to a mountain, gently settled from the skies, its form glowing golden from every scale to every feather, every inch of its great eyes shimmering with the shade, even the large fangs, curved into a hearty grin, glowed with the golden hue. The beast's claws splintered the trees before the wolf as it landed, the hushed forest echoing with the snapping and popping. And though the trees seemed crushed forever, doomed to rot upon the marshland floor, the great dragon seemed unperturbed, for he knew they would heal, because he would heal them. But for now, his attention would belong only to Kerrigan. And though the great dragon spoke, his snout remained still with his smile. "Greetings, my Kerrigan," The great guardian dipped into a low bow, keeping his enormous eyes onto the alpha. "I shall tell you that I am Aures Un, and I have called to you, you who is alpha." Aures Un's great shining teeth sent sparkles throughout the thick forest, lighting the waters of the marsh with yellow reflections that shimmered to other surfaces, forever jumping and moving, unable to remain still. Aures Un's great neck, thicker perhaps than even the largest of swamp trees, curled up from the low bow and rest above his shoulders. The golden dragon's form shook with a great laughter, scales reflecting small tints of light onto the countless shadows of the forest marsh. Aures Un had always admired Kerrigan, Kerrigan who was so unique within his eyes. Through the eye of time, he could see Kerrigan's fear as a pup, though it might not be remembered, when his siblings were graced a quick death by his own father. Through the eye of time, he could see the storm that split him from his pack, from his family. Aures Un could see Kerrigan's strength and Kerrigan's duty form in both his body and mind as result of those events. Aures Un smiled in the past to those events, not because they were horrid, but because they were necessary.
"Kerrigan Caderyn, the reason that I have called, I will share with you. It it well past due for the meeting of the pack lands, though the time gap has been necessary."
Aures Un's smiled remained steady as a chuckle lay muffled within his great chest. The lack of communication between packs had been necessary, for without it, he would not be here now to speak with Kerrigan, with Lucid, with Minou or with Masina, all in this moment. And none would hear or learn from him, him, Aures Un, who had so much to share. "I call to share with you that you, alpha, alpha who may speak his pack's wishes to others, may come as you wish."

he woofed, laughing slightly, his sharp fangs gleaming in the golden light from the flying beast's scales. He cleared his throat and stretched his toes, digging lime nails and black toes into the soil. "To w'ere do I go fer this meetin'? And when? If ye doona mind me askin' o'course," he spoke again, tilting his head, the dots around his eyes arching comically.[/blockquote][/ul]

”Marvelous! Simply marvelous!”
Though Kerrigan’s answer had echoed within his large skull before it was spoken, Aures Un could do nothing to contain his excitement, and would do nothing for that matter. With his booming voice came the great snort of a dragon, the leaves of the trees before him shook and shivered with his breath and the branches creaked and whined with their protested movement. Great golden wings spread, the sunlight leaking through their golden feathers and casting the ground in a golden hue, sparkles and shimmers rippling. Booming laughter sounded again, shaking the world around him with its might. ”I will tell you, Kerrigan, my brother, you will know when the meeting is called.” The dragon’s wings stroked to the ground, crushing two more great trees before their might. ”I will call the meeting from the circle, and I promise you my brother that I will call loud enough for you to hear!” The great stroke of his wings brought the dragon into the air, trees previously snapped like twigs from his weight grew encased within a golden light and lifted from their graves and planted themselves into the ground where they once stood tall. The leaves blown from their homes so suddenly were returned to their branches, whole and healthy. ”And I must apologize, before my departure, for my destruction of our home.” He chuckled softly. ”I hope that you do not take mind to my repairing of it.” The great marsh trees stood whole where they once were crushed, and as the last of their cracks and splinters healed, the golden aura that had encased them faded. Aures Un’s voice grew quiet as his dragon formed hovered gracefully in the air above the canopy, his large golden eyes just barely catching a glimpse of brother Kerrigan from the gaps in the branches of the newly-regrown trees. ”And if I may humbly request…is there anything that you may wish of me before I depart?”

For the statement was true as anything that had yet sprung from his mouth and the being would know that already. His tail flicked and he supposed the meeting was over, but Aures Un spoke again. A request? As first he had nothing to reply with. Kerrigan didn't want anything, nor did he really need to know his future or that of others. He really preferred to live his life like he didn't know he was going to die someday. And anyway, if he knew about bad things he'd try to avoid them and mess up the whole scheme of things. Then he found what he wanted. He stepped forward so his lime eyes could catch the gleam from the golden orb above him. He snorted and nodded his head. Aye! I hae a 'quest. W'at o' Chevara?" he spoke, wondering for her. She hadn't been the best of Alphesses, but he had grown attached.[/blockquote][/ul]
