Kalypso wandered through the marshlands of Nigori, alone. She had been walking for hours, her paws sinking into the puddles. Small splashes could be heard with each step she took. Her pelt around her legs had become stained with mud and dirt.
The fae had heard many tales of the great Kerrigan and his pack, small as they were. She had heard of their loyalty to one another and to their alpha. That's what she wanted. A place to be wanted. A place to be accepted. The fae had not found that anywhere else in Aelyn. But, hopefully, this would be the pack she was looking for. Kalypso had spent most of her time alone and wandering ever since the death of her parents.
'Hopefully,' she thought, 'I won't be turned away.' The femme walked on, never speeding up nor slowing down. She kept the same pace. The pads of her paws were becoming swollen and wrinkled with the vast amounts of water and the underwater grass stuck to her like plaster. Kali's throat was becoming dry and sore from her panting. The fae paused and lowered her maw to the water beneath her and took a small sip. As soon as the water touched her tongue, she spat it out. Apparently, the water she was standing in wasn't drinkable.
Kalypso let out a small huff. This was getting her no where. It was entirely possible she was headed in the wrong direction. Or she could have already passed them. Or she still had a ways to go. The list could go on. The wolfess raised her muzzle to the air and let out a long, whimsical howl. Maybe they could come to her?

Iki walked slowly through the wet muddy marsh, his snow white fur around his paws was turning a yucky brownish black "How unappealing" He said to himself. He picked his paws up high when he stepped, as if that would make a difference.
When Iki heard a loud howl he broke into a run towards it, as he splashed through the muck he said to himself "Another wolf, haven't seen one for a long time" He came to a graceful stop, in front of the wolfess.
"Hello, my name is Iki" He said to the fae, bowing his head slightly in case she was in a place of high power and honor. He licked at his paw wondering if the black and brown stains would ever come off.
He looked the fae over, she was muddy as well, and looked very tired, like she had been travelling for a long time.

Silent crimson stained paw prints graced the lands as a dark femora tread across the murky undergrowth with impossible ease. Her piercing amber eyes glanced this way and that as her paws never missed a step and seemed to hardly grace the surface of the land. She almost seemed to float as she walked. Her white scarf billowed around her, though there was no wind. She was a shadow in the dark terrain and a master of stealth and silence. She sniffed the air, catching the scent of wolves far downwind of her and slowly made her way in that direction, her long dagger-like claws hardly touching the surface of the muddy terrain.
She silently stalked the two wolves that had graced the lands with their presence. She smirked to herself, thinking 'It's time to play...' and she slowly made her way forward once again. She was silent as a ghost as she tread through the lands she had learned to love so much. Not many would find it appealing, but it had a certain dark charm that she had grown quite fond of and had no intentions of leaving behind.
Slowly, she came to the area where the two wolves seemed to be conversing and she watched silently, her body still as a statue and her breathing non-existent. She simply watched her adversaries and smiled, waiting for them to even get that feeling she loved to induce so much.. the creepy feeling of being watched by an unknown stranger and presence. She often gave that feeling when in person and when in hiding, but she didn't care... most seemed to question her naturally due to her little spoken nature and her abnormal grace and posture. She waited, biding her time, wondering what else she could learn of these wolves before they even acknowledge her presence.
Amber eyes stared from the dark, watching the wolves every move.

Kalypso was surprised as a brute came running in her direction. The fae had yet to see another living being until then. She was somewhat relieved. Maybe this brute was of the Nigori Marshland Pack. As the pure white brute arrived in front of her, Kali fidgeted self consciously. Here she was all wet and muddy with a rather large, handsome brute staring at her. 'Lovely,' she thought.
"Good afternoon, Iki. My name is Kalypso," she paused momentarily, "Are you of the Nigori Marshland Pack?" she asked. Kalypso continued to look him up and down. Like her, he was covered in muck. Looking to the side, the fae noticed the number 31 seared into his flesh. Unknowingly, she let out a small gasp as she gazed at it. Who would be so cruel? The fae forced her blue eyes away from the sight, but was then confronted by his deep amber eye.
Kali stared deep into his eyes as if his very gaze was pulling her in. Once again, she was forced to turn her head away. His eyes held pain, of a deep suffering. It was unbearable to look. How could this majestic creature have faced so much suffering? The question seemed to eat at her insides.
After getting a hold of herself, Kalypso returned her gaze to the brute's face. The fae waited and listened to his deep voice.

"No, I am not, and I guess you just answered my question!" Iki said chuckling a deep baritone chuckle. The fur on the back of his neck began to stand up, like he was being watched by someone other than this beautiful fae.
He looked around the marsh, hoping to find someone lurking around, when he saw no one he shook off the feeling and turned back to Kalypso. "Have you met anyone of the pack yet?" Iki asked her, hoping she was just waiting for the alpha or Alphess of this pack.
He saw her cringe at his brand, he remembered the time when he was caught by alien creatures, and branded, he shook once more, 'No, I will not think of those times, they are where they should be, in the past' He thought to himself
He gazed back into the fae's eyes, wondering if they too held secrets of her past.

Kali let out a long sigh and her ears drooped. She still hadn't found the pack even after hours of wandering the marshes. The fae was exhausted, hungry and thirsty. All she wanted was to find the pack and rest for a few hours. "So, you're looking for the Nigori Pack as well?" she asked, exhaustion evident in her voice.
Kalypso's pelt on the back of her neck began to stand. An unnerving feeling began to grow in the pit of her stomach. The fae felt as if she was being watched and, apparently, so did the Iki. She turned her head left and right, scanning the area all around her. Nothing. Then, she raised her nose into the air and inhaled. Still nothing. The femme raised an elegant brow in curiosity and confusion. Nothing was around the pair, not a living soul. So, what could be giving her this odd feeling?
Kali looked to Iki and, seeing he had put it out of his mind, she let it go. She didn't think about it again. Looking back into the brute's eyes, the fae noticed he wasn't all there. Perhaps reliving a memory? She didn't have much time to think it over before his gaze came back into focus. His deep amber eyes seared into hers as if trying to see directly into her soul. He was curious about her, she could see.
Like Iki, Kali had a relatively bad past. Thinking of Iki's visible scar, Kalypso began to ponder on her own scars. Although, hers were not visible, they were still long and deep. The fae was still mourning the loss of her parents, the only people she had ever really cared about and loved. Nearly two years later, the gash was still present in her heart.

Iki noticed her look around her, as if she too felt like she was being watched, he looked around again. Still nothing.
"Do you feel as if we're being watched?" Iki asked her. Iki began to realize something was up, Kalypso, felt it too, he was sure. He licked at his maw in anticipation.
He walked round the place where they were standing, looking for anything out of the ordinary. He lifted his sensitive nose into the air and sniffed delicately. He detected a small scent of other wolf He wondered if that was the pack scent, or a loner watching them.
Iki looked back over to the fae, and saw her eyes go out of focus, she was remembering something, just as he had been.

The fae's vision focused as she saw a movement. She shook her head to clear her thoughts as Iki began to wander around their current area. "Yes, I do feel as if we're being watched. I can't place it, though, " she answered as she turned to face the brute. He was scenting the surrounding area.
The feeling of being watched caused the fur on her neck and back to spike in caution. It was eerie just knowing someone was stalking the pair, but was even worse knowing that they couldn't locate the being, not by scent or sight. Tremors racked Kalypso's frame. She raised her nose into the air once more, scenting, but still nothing. 'We should move on,' she thought, 'We can't be that far from the pack.'
The feeling only seemed to intensify. Kali couldn't take it anymore. "Who are you? We know you're there! Come out!" she called. The fae waded through the muck to stand beside Iki. For some reason, being close to the brute put her nerves at ease.

She laughed in her mind and decided she would play with these loners minds a bit more. She followed them as they moved, her movements silent as the grave and just watched... her amber eyes never wavering for a moment. Her white scarf that billowed around her neck never got caught on anything and moved swiftly, even with no wind present. She continued to stalk the two wolves, all the while her mind laughing at them. She pondered for a moment, then thought to play a small prank on them.
She laughed mentally, sending the laughter to their minds telepathically, causing it to have an echoey effect in their minds to make it almost seem as if the laughter was surrounding them. She stalked them further, her crimson paws making no noise beneath her feet and her long, white nails not even clicking against any tree trunks or gravel she came across. Her long tail was held out behind her, a sign of dominance over the two wolves, but not of any leadership position that would be within the pack. She thought it was about time to show herself, so forward she moved, coming up right behind the two wolves, silent and unmoving.
"Greetings." She simply said as she sat calmly behind them, her body still as a statue and her piercing amber eyes looking at both of them. Her tail curled around her paws. Her wings were folded gently to her sides as she watched and waited for the two loners to speak again. Something about her was unnatural, her movements or lack there-of, were unnatural, her speech was smooth and cool. Something about her didn't seem normal or like anything that most wolves, if any, had ever encountered before.

A laughter echoed within her mind, startling the fae. The laughter seemed to grow in volume and in length, setting her nerves on edge. Kalypso turned her head left and right, but where ever she looked, she couldn't pin point the laughters origins. Obviously, someone was toying with the pair and it was a bit unnerving to say the least.
A black and red colored femme stepped out behind them causing Kalypso to jump out of surprise. Kali whirled around and stared down the unknown female. Her blue eyes narrowed in suspicion. The small black and blue wings on her back twitched slightly in annoyance. "Who are you?" Kalypso inquired.
The mere presence of the fae caused the fur upon Kali's back to spike. Her ears flicked this way and that as she tried to assess the situation. Obviously, the fae enjoyed seeing the unease of others and, obviously, she did it on purpose. What purpose did I serve, though? Why did this fae meaningfully place others in such odd, uncomfortable positions?
The questions nagged at the back of her mind. Kalypso kept her gaze upon the fae before her, watching her every movement, or lack of.

Another wolf, a much larger brute, arrived at the scene. He came to a halt beside the fae in front of the pair of loners. Kalypso's body relaxed at the sight of the Alpha. From the numerous stories she had heard along her journeys, it was easy to identify the brute as Kerrigan, the Alpha of the Nigori Marshland Pack.
Once again self conscious, Kalypso began to fidget under the Alpha's gaze. Finally, after all this time, she had made it. "I am Kalypso and this brute beside me is Iki. We have journeyed far and wide in search of you and your great lands. We wish to join the Nigori Marshlands Pack." The fae chose to be blunt rather than try to appeal to him with fancy words. She raised her head high, her blue eyes gazing into that of Kerrigan's lime green ones.
The relief of finally arriving at her destination quickly turned into a feeling of nervousness. What if he turned them away? What would she do then? She had spent most of her life wandering in and out of packs, but this one really meant something to her. Kalypso wanted to be apart of this pack.
The fae's thoughts turned from the pessimistic questions to that of curiousity. She gazed the brute up and down, taking in his appearance. He was rather large, dwarfing the femme next to him. His pelt was mainly black, with lime green markings which matched his unwavering eyes. This was the great Kerrigan.

Iki nodded as Kalypso introduced him, "Hello, Kerrigan, alpha of Nigori Marshlands." He bowed his head slightly to show respect. When this brute showed up, there was no doubting who this land belonged to, but who was this she-wolf? Alphess, Betess? And why, did she, come instead of the alpha first?
All these questions and no answers. He looked at Kerrigan, his black fur and lime markings and eyes, so unusual for a a wolf, they were cat-like, with slitted pupils and iris's.
He glanced back to the fae. She was dark like Kerrigan in color. Kalypso was dark as well, and him, the whitest of whites, looked out of place with the trio of dark wolves.
Back to Kerrigan his gaze now went, what would the brute say? Kerrigan was even slightly taller than Iki, and Iki had never seen this. He was always the biggest wolf anyone had ever seen, 'Well I guess they hadn't seen Kerrigan' He thought to himself.
Kerrigan wasn't much taller but just so that you could tell, about a claw length.

he rumbled back, the burr in his tone not as smooth as it was for Zephora, but that was too be expected. He didn't want to mate anyone here, in short. He snorted lightly at that, feeling his lips want to curl at that thought. He brushed it away with effort. His head already up before the sentence was finished he titled his lime audits at them. "Yer both welcome 'ere. I'll nae drive anyone away, an'...I doonae 'hink ye'll try an' 'ake me pack from me," he murmured, humor in his tones as he turned his head to the female by his side. "This is Lydia. Pack member, an' one o' the first ta join 'ere. Respect,"he said, turning a pointed stare on Kalypso, "Her, an' any other wolfs in 'he pack." That said, he tilted his head back and sent a call across the lands. Strong, thick and rich with brogue, it threaded through bones. It called to Zephora. And it called to Lucy and Sini. To those who had yet to meet these newcomers, and should be introduced. The howl ended and he gave his mane a short fluff with a few jerks of his skull. "Now," he woofed, letting his haunches drop to the moist ground without bother, "le' me 'ear yer stories, aye?" His head cocked, not challenging, just slightly curious. They could lie if they wished, he didn't really care, he just liked to know where the different wolves came from. [/blockquote][/ul]

Z e p h o r a A song. But not just one.. I'd heard a female's song a while ago. I'd been napping in a patch of sunlight in the place I knew as Kerrigan's favorite place in the marsh. I didn't mind it though, I loved my new home, and to be quite honest.. I didn't fancy getting up at this moment in time because the ground was perfect as was the light, but my instincts told me that I had to. And so with a swift and graceful motion, I brought myself back to my feet and shook out the pure ivory tendrils of my coat. I picked up my paws then as I spun back upon my heels, swivelling my ears about for a moment to remember which direction the call had come from before I then took off and loped down the path to meet up with this newcomer.
I was happy. For the first time in months I felt happy. I had a home, and a wonderful and handsome leader to follow. I belonged here. And because of that, it was my duty and honor to help protect this magnificent paradise that was now my home. Though I hadn't met any of my packmates, I was sure that by following on through the path to the source of the howl, I'd find them soon enough. The call had been loud, and there wasn't a doubt in my mind that everyone didn't hear it.
Soon enough I came on down the path to see four wolves ahead of me. I didn't recognize three of them. But one was another female of which stood next to the handsome brute of which I knew as Kerrigan. My heart skipped a beat for a moment, and before I could do much to stop myself, my feet had taken wing and I found myself in motion again. I strode on over to the side of Kerrigan with ease. Each step of mine smooth and well placed, my wings of ivory remaining gently furled upon my back. As I passed the male and female of which were looking towards Kerrigan and the other female, I lightly dipped my head in greeting to them. "Greetings, and welcome to our home..I'm Zephora.." soothed my lyrics towards the newcomers.
Newcomers. Yes, I'd judged them as newcomers simply because they didn't have the musk of our lovely marsh upon them. I just hoped that I was right. No matter though, I held myself regal and proud before them. I saw no shame in letting my head rest high with my lovely and elegant plume flowing over my back. I knew my place for the time being, and as long as these two newcomers didn't start any trouble, everything would be fine. I doubted anyone wished any trouble though, only acceptance.
I soon made my way to stand at the side of Kerrigan, letting my cool and moist nose brush through the silky soft tendrils of his mane gently in a nuzzle of greeting. My gaze of honey amber met his own for a moment and I smiled to him, letting my plume grace the air about it for a brief moment before I turned my attentions back to the newcomers yet again. The female at Kerrigan's other side could be met later, but for now, we had newcomers to tend to.

Iki looked before him, 3 wolves, all come to greet them,'Hope this doesn't mean they're getting ready for a fight' he thought. He wagged his tail slightly, looking at the newest wolf. She was a pure white, like him. He didn't feel as out of place now. He looked back at Kalypso, willing her with his mind to say something.
"I'm from a pack far from here, I've come to escape my father, who wants me to take his place as alpha, which I do not want, he is a vindictive kind of wolf, and I do not want to know his ways." Iki said far away, engulfed in memories. His father, angry, always trying to make Iki exactly like himself. Iki didn't want to be like that!
"I want to start over new, in a new pack, with new packmates, just...new." He said, "I've not heard of Nigori before Kalypso, told me, I've been just wondering through this place, trying to find a pack that suited me"
'And this suits me, water everywhere, and for a marsh it's not dingy or unwanted looking. It's full of life.' He thought looking at the trees, that bustled with squirrels and birds, and to the water that they were not only standing in, but were surrounded by.

Kalypso lifted her black head as another wolfess joined the small trio taking her place beside Kerrigan. She was beautiful. Her amber, almond shaped eyes popped in contrast with her pure white pelt. The wings atop the fae's back caught Kalypso's attention almost immediately. Black feathers accented her nearly pure white angel wings. Something different.
Kali smiled as she watched the mysterious femme as she nuzzled Kerrigan in greeting. The fae bowed her head, attempting to hide her wide smile. She could definitely sense a connection between the two. As Kerrigan greeted the two loners into the pack, Kali brought her thoughts back to the situation at hand.
She sat back on her black haunches as she listened in on Iki's story. It was rather sad, having to leave his pack to avoid his father and the obligation of becoming the Alpha. Kalypso could feel the anger and fury roll off the brute in waves. Apparently, his memories of his former pack were not pleasant things to remember.
After patiently waiting, it was her turn. "I was a loner along with my parents. We had been out hunting and were ambushed. I was the only survivor. I attempted to remain a loner, scavenging the remains of the other predators in the area. " The fae paused momentarily, the memories were overwhelming. She closed her blue eyes for a second, preventing tears. She returned her gaze to the trio of wolves in front of her, and then to Iki for support before she continued.
"No mountain pack would accept me. So, I was forced to venture down here. I joined numerous packs, but none seemed...right. I always felt out of place. I would stay for a few months, but I would leave, eventually. While looking for another, I heard of you and your pack here in the marshlands. Every tale I came upon was about your loyalty and love within the pack. So, here I am." She finished her tale rather quietly, afraid that if she spoke louder than a whisper, she would burst into tears.
She lifted her head, unshod tears easily visible. The fae leaned slightly against the white brute beside her, unknowingly.

Lydia listened to the wolves sob stories and scoffed to herself. If she's heard them once, she's heard them a thousand times before. It takes a lot for her to be impressed by anything, especially for how long she had been treading the lands of Aelyn and previous lands before it. She flicked her tail, her first movement since she sat calmly and since Kerrigan joined them. She could sit unnaturally still for many hours if need be, something that often set others off and away from her... not that she cared.
Her piercing amber eyes glinted against her beyond black pelt as her large, crimson wings were folded gently to her sides. She was large for a wolf, but no where near the size that Kerrigan was. She was bigger than your average female and slightly larger than your average male, but not by much. Her long, white claws, dagger-like in appearance, barely graced the lands and caused not even a scratch in the dirt beneath them.
Having sat for a while, not even paying much heed to the female that had approached and seemed so cosy with Kerrigan... a slight glance, before her amber orbs focused back on the two newcomers before them. They wished to join the pack? What was with the marshlands all of a sudden? Suddenly, ever wolf that seemed to be coming to Aelyn seemed to be wanting to join the pack. She licked her chops for a moment, her thirst getting hold of her. She always wondered what it would be like to taste the blood of another wolf, though she had always stayed away from that temptation... thoughts came to her mind about how much stronger the pack could be if all of the wolves were turned, but that could also be a bad thing. These thoughts, shielded deep within her mind beyond the reaches of anyone, were just that... thoughts within her mind.
Her long fangs protruded from her mouth slightly, though nowhere near as much as Kerrigan's did. She sized up the two wolves before her, looking them from head to tail, and head to toes... taking in their every appearance, their every gesture, nervous and normal... she obviously noticed the females tears in her eyes... she had even memorized their heartbeats with her extremely keen sense of hearing.... she memorized their scents with her keen sense of smell... all things she could use in the future for whatever purpose she found she needed to, be it for her benefit or for the packs benefit. She flicked her audits to cause a little more of a stir in her unnaturally still and poised form, and waited. She wasn't one to speak much, but she loved to listen to others and hold her opinion until she felt it was of importance to let it be known.

His tail gave an erratic wave, the plush appendage curling up on itself to make an almost husky-ish twist over his spine. It was that, or prance at her, and that was so alpha like. But her lithe shape graced his side, and he couldn't have stopped himself if he had tried from leaning down and pushing his nose into her neck, even while she did the same with him. He drew in her crisp scent before drawing away. His tail flicked out of its abnormal curve and slid along her flank before resting in it's dominant position again. He turned his head back to the brute and fae who'd be in his pack now and flicked his audits forward as they started talking. Iki first, then Kalypso. Well. Having to listen to everyone's sad, absolutely horrid life wasn't exactly what he wanted. Sure, he probably shouldn't have asked that question, but he liked hearing about your adventures...not...all this sad stuff. He deserved it, he decided, and tilted his head in a very attentive pose. And he did pay attention, no one could say he didn't, but that wouldn't mean he liked it. His own life had been bad, everyone's life was bad, and the world was not fair. Some things, he'd decided, just needed to be accepted. Kalypso's commenting on the pack was a well placed compliment and Kerrigan lifted his jowls in a half-smile. Sneaky devils. And no, he never thought compliments as true, and neither did he believe them mean or too sneaky. Just...playful nudging to get him on their good side. He was just like that. He could sense Lydia's discontent at the stories these wolves told and he peered over at her still unmoved form. Well, she could hold her own opinions. He turned back to the newest wolves and tilted his head after they were silent. ''Hese two hae join'd Nigori, Zephora," he said, and pointed each one out as he said there names. "He be Iki, I ken, an she be Kalypso. I hae welcomed ye both 'ere," he said, his attention twisting dramatically from Zephora to Iki and Kalypso. "An' 'ere ye will stay. To camp, I ken. Ye both will be wantin' a den," he said, the rough burr in his voice flexing as he turned his body away from everyone else. He nudged Zeph lightly with his nose to keep the female by his side as he started to head toward the large stretch of dry land they called home. His stance very much said the two loners should follow. He slowed and peered over his shoulder at Lydia. "Ye may come if ye wish, Lydia," he said, not wanting to leave her out. His lime eyes held understanding maybe even she didn't fully comprehend.[/ul][/blockquote]

He crept forward, his body, tail and head held low to the ground. His stomach quickly became caked with mud as he made his way into the Marshlands. He was trespassing and he knew it. He only hoped the leader of these lands would have some kindness within his or her heart to accept him and not kill him on the spot. All he wanted was to serve and help the packlands, even if he served as Omega, which was the only thing he was expecting.. the scapegoat to the pack and the one that everyone would take their anger and fury out on.. the one that would be shunned from the chorus of howls that the pack did together and the one that everyone would spill their problems to and he wouldn't ever expect them to listen to his.
Yes, this was what he thought his destiny was and he only hoped that the wolves of these lands wouldn't maim him or skin him alive because of the fact he dared to tread these lands. The treatment he sought was only the treatment that he had received all of his life, therefore he was only used to one kind of treatment and one kind alone. He expecting nothing more, nothing less.
Slowly, he raised his head slightly, hearing voices in the distance. Perhaps it was the Nigori Marshlands pack he had heard about through whispers in the wind? He slowly made his way forward, his tail between his legs, his ears laying flat back and his belly low to the ground, the sign of the highest possible respect he could give. He made his way forward and licked his lips as he caught sight of five different wolves, all conversing together.
He made his way forward, assuming the large dark brute was the leader of the lands and making a careful note to show him the most respect. So, the other two in front of the three were loners? Just like he was... why weren't they showing the same submissive pose that he was? Maybe they were unaware of how wolves who weren't in leadership positions should be standing. He mentally shook his head at them and approached slowly, keeping his posture in the most submissive form possible.
The big brute had begun to pad away and he almost wondered if he would miss his chance. He quickly made his way forward, hoping to be seen before they moved too quickly. So the other two wolves were accepted... great.. now he could only hope that the pack of the five wolves wouldn't rip him to shreds when he requested to become a part of the pack... then again, the big brute had easily accepted the two wolves, so why wouldn't he accept another wolf to his ranks? Leorian wasn't asking much... just to be a part of a family and a pack... and to be there for his fellow pack members... nothing more. Slowly, he moved forward and made a small whimpering noise to catch the large brutes attention.
"Um... hello... my name is Leorian... I-I was wondering if these packlands were in need of a new member? I humbly offer myself to join your ranks, good sir." his voice was calm, yet slightly on the nervous side, confronting a group of wolves that could easily tear him to shreds. His multi-faceted pelt changed constantly like the oceans waves as if you were glancing down at your feet in the shallows... his pelt resembled that idea perfectly, with the sun spots and the white lines cast by the suns rays. The tip of his nose started early morning, fading gently to afternoon down his back and then to what the water would look like at twilight. His eyes reflected the flowing waters of the ocean, with blues and greens of several different hues.
Overall, this wolf was a very unique wolf, with his constantly changing pelt like the waves upon the ocean and the ripples of sand beneath it, but his demeanor greatly contrasted his side of him as he approached the group of wolves in the most submissive form possible. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Lydia kept to herself and listened as the two loners made their way into the pack. So there were even more members to take care of... that was both a helpful thing for sheer fact they needed more wolves to compensate for the large size of the other packs, but it also hindered because it was more mouths to feed.
She had caught the scent and heard the scurry of another creature nearby... it didn't sound quite like a wolf, only because it held itself so close to the ground. When he made his appearance, Lydia scoffed at him and sneered in his direction. Yet another wolf was joining their ranks. This wolf seemed to be weak and frail and nearly not worth having in the pack, but that wasn't up to Lydia to decide. Sure, he may prove useful in the long run, but his outward appearance didn't seem like that was possible.
Slowly, Lydia stood and padded forward toward Kerrigan. She nodded to the female beside him, assuming she was the soon to be Alphess of the lands. Well, yet another authority figure for Lydia to get used to and try to follow the rules with... not that she was bad at it.. she greatly respected those in leadership positions, but she also had her own way of doing things and thus far, Kerrigan didn't seem to mind, so this female would hopefully be so welcoming and accepting as Kerrigan had been to things.
