[{Reserved for the ever-so-lovely Lucid}]
He tread upon the mountains, footing slipping nearly every step of the way. But even as his body crashed to the rough ground countless times, he stood continuously, seemingly persistent on whatever stuck in his mind. But the truth was, he felt as if he wanted to run, to flee from the mountain’s summit and to flee from himself. But he could not, bound to his body, by the most unholy means, lay his heart. But corrupted and darkened it was, as a Hellish presence lay within its beats, the dark drums the only thing keeping him alive…keeping him alive, against his will.
Baztek emerged from the dark foliage, and met the entrance of a deep cave. It was the only cave that lie this high up in altitude, and it was also the cave of the Mountains’ alpha. But, apparently, they lay empty at the moment, and Baztek was alone. But only in a physical sense. Lucid must have taken flight, as his heart could not feel his life anywhere near. The black alpha most likely attended what may be considered “alphas’ duties”, but Baztek knew for truth that between the tasks carried out by Lucid, and the tasks carried out by what could be considered true alphas, there was a fine line.
He did not want to be here, Lucid was not thought fondly of within his opinions, and would best be left dead. But his heart, his burden compelled him to be here, and he could do nothing.
we have a command to fulfill…
He absolutely despised that noise…well, he would if he could. But Baztek felt nothing as the snaking hiss echoed within his hidden thoughts. Its mocking tone suggested nothing of a dutiful view upon their reason for being here. Baztek knew the reason they had returned. But as high and as righteous Baztek had tried to keep what was left of himself, he felt no twinge, nor pang of guilt for what had been done. And why should he? Lucid was not one to deserve respect.
So he sat, barely within the darkness of the cave, his pale form blanketed gray by the dark shadows as he awaited the return of the black alpha.

Lucid finished his territory marking and returned to his cave to find Baztek there.
"Finally, you made it back. What took you so long? Surely one as dark as you didn't feel like following the custom courtesy. Your task, I assume, has been a success? Well, share your knowledge." He barked at Baztek as he blew a fireball at the center of the cave, which made the cave instantly warm and bright, causing shadows to dance across the walls. The fire attached itself to nothing... no wood, no leaves... just air and the hard ground. Lucid was able to keep the fire going with no effort.
He looked to Baztek expectantly as he waited for him to give his answer. He wanted the information before the other two wolves... femmes no less... came back to the cave and interrupted his meeting with the white brute.
"Well? I don't have all night. Speak!" Lucid said, mostly as a command. Baztek had returned.. surely that meant he had information? If he didn't, the white brute had something else coming to him. Lucid wouldn't deal with insubordinance or failed missions within his pack, even if the wolves who he commanded orders of weren't within his pack. He waited, as patiently as he could, for the white to speak.

Baztek didn’t look at Lucid, keeping his lifeless gaze upon the dark shadows of the cold forest beyond the cave’s entrance. In his no eye contact with the alpha before him, there was held a feeling of mockery, but whether Baztek wanted it there or not, one couldn’t tell. But as he stared into the distance, not even acknowledging the fact that the alpha of the lands who he breathed in approached and acknowledged him, Baztek, one couldn’t help but find the situation as one mocking the alpha’s presence and command. Perhaps that was the atmosphere that the white loner meant to set.
His voice cold, and his eyes still carelessly watching the darkness, Baztek spoke after holding moments of silence. ”What was it you asked of me?” In response, Baztek expected nothing less of a bickering insult, brutish gestures, and whining complaints. Though he very well remembered what the black beast had requested…demanded…Baztek wanted once more to hear the word come from the alpha’s dark maw. Within his chest, Baztek felt his demonic heart smirk in its twisted and mocking way.

Lucid growled at Baztek as he seemingly mocked him. "I said to get information of the brute who claimed the Toko Forest pack. Now, who is he? Where does he hail from? What did you find out about him?" Lucid lashed his tails behind him as he advanced upon the white brute. He was merely a foot away, his anger and impatience showing upon his dark maw. Lucid sat down and stared at the brute. "You will look at me when you speak to me. Do not show cowardice and look away. It's rude and I will not tolerate it." He growled to the brute as he lowered his head, though still held it with dominance, to Baztek's level. A cold draft blew into the cave, so Lucid made the fire within the cave larger without even looking at it. The shadows cast by the fire danced around the cave, Lucid's by far the most enormous. He looked to Baztek expectantly. ((Wow, I have been having major writers block ))

Baztek held his gaze. Peh, cowardice! Even if he wanted to cower it was impossible for him to feel any amount of fear towards the alpha. So his blank gaze didn’t waver at all, but stayed focused beyond whatever lay in the dark shadows outside the cavern walls. Not necessarily insulting, but certainly not hailing in any sense.
From Lucid’s filthy maw came the words that Baztek had asked for, and that his dark heart lusted to hear. The shadowed presence within him sneered sickly, twistedly, more wickedly than Baztek had ever felt it sneer before. Lucid had forgotten his own orders, and the dark thoughts were far from reminding him
”As you…’requested’…I tred upon the forest lands and retrieved the information you so asked for.” Baztek spoke, his voice cold and distant, still looking upon the dancing shadows outside of the cave. ”A black brute had claimed the lands, he lacked to speak whatever lands he hailed from in the past…but there was a feud for leadership positions…or so it can be assumed.”
((short reminder::: this takes place before Baztek is 'banished' by Lucid and before he so rudely intterupts Lucid's courting with Mira)) [/blockquote]

((I know )) Lucid growled at Baztek. "Did you get a name? Is that all the information you got?" He glared at Baztek. Why would this brute not show any emotion or fear toward Lucid? This irked him and made him all that more angry. Surely this brute had some common sense and knew that he could get hurt by showing no respect toward those who deserve it? Lucid flicked his tails, waiting for the white brute to speak again. Surely he could have gotten more information from him than this? Surely he could tell him more about the brute? "Speak. What was his name? Surely you got more information from him than this?" He growled deep in his chest as he looked at the white. His tails continued to flick subconsciously behind him. Lucid wanted this information. He had an inkling of who it might be, but he wasn't entirely sure. He hadn't left his lands since he got here, if only to speak with the former Alphess Nynx once. He growled again, a deep rumbling sound emanating from deep within his large torso. His eyes glowed brightly as he awaited the response from the brute.

Baztek’s dead gaze finally moved to Lucid’s form in a glare of cold hatred as he waited for the blunt, black alpha to cease his petty questions. Baztek held a dead, purposely uncomfortable silence after Lucid finished speaking; the awkward tension was enough to make even the steadfast cave walls squirm with uneasiness.
”Perhaps if you would have allowed me to finish speaking instead of interrupting… you’re petty questions would have been answered! ” His tone had started smooth and soft enough, but at the end of his statement, erupted with anger and loathing. Baztek still remained seated, quietly staring at the alpha with a stare that could send most to their grave. Before continuing, Baztek looked back to the distant shadows, flickering in the firelight. ”His name…” he continued, tone and voice back to what could be considered ‘normal’ for the white loner. ”…is Corrinth. There is another within his pack, a female, though she lacks to show anything significant about her.” Baztek flicked his tail, looking back to Lucid with now an emotionless-dead gaze. He snapped, ”…that is all…the information I got.”[/blockquote]

Lucid growled as Baztek spoke. He had deliberately disrespected him by raising his voice and showing his anger toward the brute. Well, he could be angry all he wanted, Lucid would still treat him as he always had and as he figured he always would.
Lucid flicked his tails as he waited for the brute to finish. WHen he said the name, Lucid chuckled darkly. So it was Corrinth? How.. interesting. Come to start his own pack after being exiled from another. This should prove to be fun. He thought deeply, wondering how he could approach the brute with the most effect on him. He would wait a day or more, just to come up with the perfect plan.
He turned to Baztek and flicked his tails again. He was still angered by the brute, but he managed to keep his cool... mostly.
"You do not speak disrespectfully to me. You will speak to me in a calm voice and never raise your voice to me. Do I make myself clear? Yes, I do realize this sounds as if I am scolding a little pup, which I might as well be, all things considered." He sneered at the brute. He figured this would anger the brute some, being referred to as a pup. He could sense the brute had low regards for himself and Lucid wouldn't take to that kindly.
He waited for the brute to reply before he said anything more.

Baztek turned once more to Lucid, his eyes dark pits of black and shadows. With slow, calm, and quite confident steps, the white loner approached Lucid, eyes flaring with indescribable emotions, instilling a feeling of rage and hate into whomever laid eyes upon them. Baztek leaned into Lucid, presenting his nose only mere inches from the alpha’s neck (Lucid, being much taller than Baztek). Dark thoughts of fangs opening and closing tightly onto the black throat were projected purposely for Lucid to detect. The Hellish pictures continued, all ending in Lucid’s life-blood being spilled upon the ground. Upon Baztek’s white maw, twisted a Hellish sneer. One last vision of Baztek leaping onto the large alpha’s throat and delivering a fatal slash to the life-vein was projected for Lucid to see.
The white’s maw opened slowly, revealing the fangs that were stained so red in the many vision that had been presented for Lucid to see. A dark voice whispered sweetly…”…all things considered…” The fangs of the white receded from their hair’s distance from the alpha’s throat.
Baztek stepped away, his eyes dead and cold amber, and disappeared into the shadows outside the cave, the same ones he had stared at so continuously.
