Fiera-Lynn It had been forever since Fiera could just relax when and where she wanted. She wasn't on any pack's lands and therefore had no reason to fret about trespassing. And she could eat what and when she wanted. It was paradise! Even if it didn't feel like it to some.
Fiera's large paws kicked dirt up behind her and walked around the plains. She had nowhere to be and liked it that way. Her dove-style wings stretched on either side of her before tucking back toward her sides. She couldn't help but smile to herself. She had to. Without second guessing herself she jumped into the air, her wings expanded allowing her to glide, and she yelled, "I'm FREE!!!!!"

She had found Sphinx, but only for a moment, and then he was gone again. What was he up to that kept dragging him away from her? She hadn't quite figured him out entirely, and at the rate things were going, she wondered if she ever would. He was so distant all of a sudden and it bothered her, especially with the connection that they once shared. She sighed to herself, off on a walk on her own again as she pondered the current situation and what horrid and morbid thoughts that seemed to circulate through her mind as she thought deeper and deeper into the situation.
Her crimson fur stood out against the plains as she found a boulder and sat in the shade next to it, though, there was little to no shade in the first place. She didn't even notice the shape of the shadow or the shadow itself that was around the area because of the fact she was so deep into her thoughts. Her moods had been so sporadic lately, and it didn't help all the other emotions she felt from other wolves around her. She sighed again and took a deep breath, trying to clear her mind of the thoughts and depression that had begun to set within her mind.

Fiera glided back down to the ground, her grin still placed on her happy facade. She landed with a dull thud as all four of her large paws landed on the ground. Now that she had that out of her system, she needed to get down to business. Actually, no, she didn't. She glanced around, her emerald eyes dancing over the land. It took a double take to realize that there was another wolf around her. She tilted her large grey head in thought. Should she, or should she not go and talk to the wolf....
Fiera took the stance of someone in authority and walked toward the wolf. She wasn't sure what she was doing, or why she was acting like she was still in the army... but she was, and she couldn't pull herself together enough to snap out of it. She stopped infront of the wolf and glanced down. The wolf was definitely a female, Fiera was sure of that. She stood tall and strong, but held a genuine smile. "Hello? What are you doing out here by yourself?" Alright, so it was a little hypocritical for her to ask that question, but Fiera was built like a brute. She could take care of herself easily. The again, this fae probably could as well.

Solid white eyes glanced at the female for a moment, looked away, then looked back in a double-take fashion. She tilted her head to one side and took in the whole situation, everything not registering right away and her mind a little slow to the uptake of a wolf in the plains talking to her. Her last encounter with a wolf had caused Sphinx to have to stop time in order to keep her from falling into an untimely demise... she wondered if it was all for naught as this female before her spoke much like one who was in a leadership position would.
Adjusting her raven black wings, she turned her white gaze back to the female. The black collar around her neck was lightly set against her long, flowy fur, the charm that wanted to make itself known today a skull and crossbones. She had a platinum colored cuff on her front, left forepaw that had peridot gems laid into it. Despite the fact she had these accessories, they hardly made a noise when she moved.
She sighed to herself and decided it best to speak to the femora who had approached her. The female had an air of great happiness and joy about her that made Sway groan in the inside. "Hello. I could ask you the same thing, you know." She was intentionally trying to avoid explaining herself and why she was. She was very good at putting up a facade about her that made others believe she was feeling something that she wasn't, and that is exactly what she decided to do with this femora. She really didn't feel like spilling her problems and her life story to her and she had no intentions of doing so. "Wouldn't it have been more conducive to introduce yourself first? I mean, you have no authority over these lands, therefore, I have every right to traverse across them alone should I ever wish to do so." She wasn't trying to come off mean, but it was within her nature and her manner of speaking and the way she held herself that made her sound so rude. It was never her intention, her personality just caused her to be very blunt and to the point about things and oftentimes this offended other creatures, though that was always far from her intentions.[/blockquote]

Questioning was something she wasn't quite used to. But this was new territory and therefore, she needed to get used to it. Fiera licked her large maw and sat down in front of the female. She was rather decorative, which was something Fiera was not so sure about. Her emerald eyes looked over the female one last time before she decided to speak. "Yes, you could have asked me the same thing. I had expected it, actually." She let out a small laugh, but quickly turned it into a cough. She wasn't about to look weak.
Fiera continued to look down at the female with a small look of shock. No one would have talked to her like that back in the old country. But this wasn't the old lands now was it, Wendy? Fiera smirked, "Fine. Let me start over then." She stood up and bowed at the femme. "I'm Fiera-Lynn. I am new to this land. I may have no authority here, but from where I'm from we were required to act as I have been. If you have any issues with that, keep it to yourself, because I don't feel like dealing with rude wolves at the moment. I'm in a rather good mood." Yeah... she felt like a bitch, but it was nice to finally let how she felt roll off her tongue. Although, with the first wolf she has met in the land... that could be a bad start.

Sway just watched her with her solid white orbs and raised an eyebrow as she spoke. This female seemed to have no idea how things worked in the lands of Aelyn and seemed to be stuck in some way in some place that she used to live. Well, she would get a slap of reality when it came to the point where she met up with some of the not so friendly wolves around here. She flicked her tail and chuckled slightly. Her hair hanging over her left eye moved a bit, as did the longer fur that hung around her neck as she shifted her position and readjusted herself. Her paws had longer fur on them as well, nearly covering up her long black claws. Despite all the longer fur, it seemed well maintained and dirt free.
"I'm Sway. You obviously have no idea how things are in the lands of Aelyn. Be glad that you met up with me before some of the other wolves that are around here. I'm one of the more even tempered ones. Now, something you should know, my dear, is that you are no longer in your lands... you are in the lands of Aelyn... it's a whole new ball game here." She chuckled slightly as the female had covered up her laugh with a cough. This female was very out of her element here and it was apparently obvious with how much she thought the lands of Aelyn were going to have the same rules as her other homeland she came from.
"Word to the wise, keep a low profile until you really want to be part of one of these packs. They're all very different and each one has its own rules on top of the basic rules that have come with this land. I'd suggest getting to know the lands and getting to know what each pack is like before you join one. I've been in these lands for quite some time and I'm still learning new things about all of them all the time." She flicked her tail and shifted her large, raven black wings. She may have sounded bitchy earlier, but it was her nature to be blunt and honest. She could tell this female was happy and in a good mood, but that doesn't mean that Sway had to be in a good mood to just to satiate the female. Sway could be in whatever damn mood she felt like being in. "Whether or not you take my advice is up to you." She shrugged at this last point and wished Sphinx were around somewhere. She had grown quite lonely and she would have loved to have him around in order to keep her in line. He made it so she wasn't so bitchy sounding and a little more level-headed.[/blockquote]

Fiera-Lynn stood quietly as the wolf spoke to her. Okay, so her name was Sway. And she was attempting to be somewhat nice, which was a surprise. Fiera nodded her large head in a way of showing that she understood. This was going to take awhile to get used to, she was sure of it. She ran her tongue across her maw as she took everything Sway was saying in. Sway had a lot of guts, that was for sure. Fiera wasn't exactly the smallest wolf around, and yet Sway talked to her like she was a puppy or something.
"Do they not fight over here? Is there no training? Or is it complete anarchy in these lands?" She looked down at Sway, her eyes expressive. "Thanks for the advice, I'll keep it in mind." Fiera glanced down at herself, taking herself to her full height. "I was bred to fight. I can take care of myself. And if they all have looks like you, no offence, but I don't think I'll have anything to worry about. You are rather small." She was being sincere to her maximum. And in completely honestly, Sway was acting as Fiera had wished she could act all her life. She had the brute force, but never the mouth that should have gone along with it.

Sway looked at the female with her solid white orbs. So, she thought she couldn't hold her own, eh? Sway was more than capable of doing so and didn't need to prove it to this overconfident and arrogant wolf... not that she would say such things out loud... at least, not yet.
"Sorry to say it, honey, but I've seen larger wolves than yourself around here... size isn't everything, as you'll soon come to find to be especially true in these lands. Some of the smallest wolves here have greater power than just brute force. Surely you're not arrogant enough to think you're so badass that you can't be touched? No offense." She smirked slightly, not at all phased by the females remark about her size. She knew she was smaller, but that really didn't bother her. She knew that if she needed to, she could hold her own. This female wasn't even clued in in the slightest as to what Sway was capable of, and she planned on keeping it that way so long as she could in order to have a leg up. "A word to the wise... get your nose out of the air and look around you.. I don't know what kind of roots you came from, but honey, you ain't in Kansas anymore." She flicked her tail calmly and readjusted her raven black wings to her sides. Granted, she was being a bit blunt and harsh, but this female had insulted her in a way by implying she couldn't hold her own... if it came to it, she would show her otherwise.[/blockquote]
