--> Cerebus <-- The bones of the deer sat in front of her. She watched as she moved her paw aorund them, playing with it. It kept her entertained, and she remained silent. Very strange, how she did so. She was usually one to make a random statement, or to make a silly joke.
The male wolf spoke, granting access to Cerebus' and the other female's story. Cerebus didn't want to say anything. She thought Kila would go, but when she asked for the male's story, she seemed quite relieved. Nobody wants to tell their own story. Maybe because it'll look like they're lying, or bragging. whichever, it didn't matter.
The bone of the deer shifted between her two front paws. The blazes caught the bone, and it slowly started to light. It peered to be a type of firework. Cerebus then swept her right paw underneath it, and flung it to her left paw. Her left paw smacked it, and it fell. She then repeated the same motion. It looked like she was juggling the fire-lit bone. It was a poor juggle, since she didn't have human thumbs, but it was a juggle no less.

His eye's snapped to the direction of Kila. It was only fair that he share his story first... With a sigh he started his story...
I was brought up in a pack that didn't love me. I was the biggest in a pack of smaller faster wolves. They all stared and made fun of me for my abnormal size and markings and such. Even my own mom was afraid of me... do you know how hard that is? Seeing the fear in your own moms eyes? He paused his eyes glazing over focused on nothing but the past.
I used to have wings that could keep me in flight for forever. That used to be my way of escape from them from everything on the ground. I would fly high above the clouds and feel wind on my face. I would dive and swirl and have races with birds. But then... The flame on his head turned red and hot, his eyes got angry and harsh.
Then they attacked me. One latched onto my wing and tore it off. When I killed him off, my other went limp and useless. I let the other be torn off then faught them to the death. The images flashed through his mind of the fight and muscles began to twitch in his legs and jaw. He shook his head gently and cleared his mind and worked on softening his muscles again.
And, not wanting to live with enemies and not knowing what else to do, I ran. Meetin you here. He let his eyes settle on Kila. Her being the one who asked him to start in the first place. His tail twitched slightly as he said, How about you? Now that youv'e heard mine. After all you were second in this land.

Kila listened to his sob story... which was exactly what it was. She didn't care much to hear about everyone else's pasts or problems.. they were in the past and meant to be moved on from... Just because your past was so bad, doesn't mean the future has to be as well.... this was why she didn't talk much about herself and always tried to direct questions elsewhere and attention elsewhere.
She should have expected this... being asked directly what her story was. Well, there wasn't much to it, but she assumed it would only be fair to share hers as well. She sighed to herself and thought for a moment before flicking her audits and opening her maw to speak. "I was born in these lands... my parents were your average parents and I led the average life. There... that's all that's really important. The rest doesn't matter." She flicked her tail and half expected the brute to press on into more of her history or even ask her questions, though part of her didn't expect this... she wasn't sure what else to expect in the lands that had changed so much since her puppihood. She sighed to herself and waited to see if the brute would press on further or turn to the femme beside her.[/blockquote] ((It's in her nature to be as blunt and say as little as possible about herself.. xP Feel free to press on or move on... either is okay.... I have replies for both.))

--> Cerebus <-- The young beauty watched the male tell his story. It was rather sad, but it didn't bother her that much. Most of the wolves here have sad stories, or either angry stories, like herself. Stuff like this never bothered her. The past, hopefully, doesn't define a wolf's character. Only the wolf themself can defy their own character.
The male then asked Kila about her past. She was rather quick, and everything was average... This appeared rather strange to Cerebus, and her flames perked up abit, as did her ears. Her ears twitched as she listened intently to both of them, watching them while wolf-juggling the deer bone. Her crimson blood hues dashed from the male, to Kila, to the bone every now and then. Still, she remained silent until spoken to, or until she couldn't control herself any longer.

His blue eyes looked at Kila, that wasn't all of her story. Oh, he knew that she wasn't lieing, but that wasn't all... What had happened to this fae? Should he press it or would that just make her mad? He did not, by any means, want to make her angry. That would probably take him into a fight that he didn't want to get in. He chose a subtle way of putting it.
If I may, I know that can't be all of your story. No, I know that you aren't lieing about the normality of your life, but you act too...He thought carefully of a way to put it. Headstrong, to have had a perfect life. He looked at her for a moment then to the ground.
No, I will not pry. If you wish we can ask Cerebus her story and not worry about it. He searched her face for some sort of emotion but because her eyes were covered he saw none. He could usually read expressions very well by eyes. Empathy? No. Telepathy? No. Just a little gift that wasn't always right and that anyone could learn. ((While I am gone Sway has permission to post with my character until I get back. She will only be doing major things with my character like, him defending himself or walking around and things of the like. I am letting her do this so that the post may not be stopped because I am not here. -Emi))

Kila looked at the brute and flicked her tail for a moment. Should she or should she not tell the story of her past? She thought long and hard and decided what the hell.. why not.
Taking a deep breath, she began.
"Shortly after I was able to walk, two legged creatures came to these very lands and kidnapped me, along with the rest of my family. They took us in these large, loud machines that moved really fast. I wasn't sure where my parents were at this point, mind you.. I was just a pup. After a long ride in these machines, we came to a large stone-like object that they took me into in a wire box. Inside here, for the better part of a year, the poked and prodded me with various needles, cut parts of my flesh and injected me with burning liquids. I had begun to find that my vision slowly dissipated as this went on, causing me to worry at first, but to find other ways of seeing. My paws grew larger, my ears grew longer, my nose became stronger... all adaptations to my growing blindness."
"To add to my confusion, once I could see no more, the placed this rag upon my face to cover up the hideous things they had done to me. If you look at various parts of my body, you can find scars and scratches where they cut into me for whatever the hell reason they chose to do so."
"Anyway, as my vision grew completely dark, I discovered a way to see otherwise, which is what I do now. I bided my time, waiting for them to be careless, as these creatures tend to be very careless, and found my opportunity. Escaping through my open cage when they thought I was sedated, I ran as fast as I could as far away as possible. I eventually came to a vast ocean where I swam until I found these shores once again. That's how I ended up back here and that's how I came to be where I am and what I am today. Happy now?" She wasn't intending to be rude... she just didn't care for long sob stories, and this would seem just like one of those. She flicked her tail and crossed her paws, one over the other, as she laid down between the two wolves.[/blockquote]
