The wind blew gently through Rems soft coat, her large untidy wings held high to catch the cooling breaze, she has been walking through the marsh for only a short time and already the untrustworthy scent of wolves looms around her like a thick cloud of trechery. She glances over her shoulder at the wilderness behind her, she had no intentions of retracing her steps nor wavering from her path. She snickers to herself, "such a thrill, so fun, perhaps i shall now have some amusement providing they attack... but if not..." Her mind wandered to thoughts of her past, she was just one lone wolf after all. A weak wolf at that despite her past trechery. She sighed and let her mangled ears fall back then with one last flick of her long flowing tail she pulled herself forward again walking straight into the unknown territory. If perchance the wolves did not condemn her presence maybe she could find a home among their ranks, at least for a time... Rem lowered her head and folded her wings in tight, they would be of little use from here on out but perhaps they would provide protection from a surprise attack long enough for her to explain, flee or kill.

Around him it was damp, humid and with the evening air it wasn't as hot as he knew it would become. The bugs buzzed around him and the rest of the area. Little flowers here and there grew and Yuma found comfort in the beauty they gave. It didn't smell too pleasant but the appearance was unique. Surveying the area was relaxing in a way. It was nice to find that it wasn't to easy to get lost. All he really had to do was follow the alpha's scent and occasionally stop and listen. Though that could be out of habit from what his occupation was before.
In one of his pauses, he smelt the smell of fear. It was in the air as the wind blew, coming from up wind. It was of another wolf, female. She was alert and something inside her was a bit nervious. Awesome. New wolf! He shifted his eyes back in forth at a sly plan. If she's so alert
He took a deep breath and let out half before holding it again. Silently he moved up hill and right before the wind blew again his atoms spread into a mist and then an invisible layer. In this form he could still see, but it was scattered. Quickly, his vision shifted from atom to atom to find this female he had smelled.
Hovering above her he took in her appearance. She was matted and scrawny. She too, had wings, but the wings seemed unable to lift her if she were to fly. He sighed audibly, a huge wave of shame over came him as he floated himself down and in front of her. He became solid in a soft sucking sound as his atoms collected and made him visible. There he stood, his ears perked above his dome and his neck lowered. His eyes, the left being of an amber color and the other a mahogany, curiously, yet hauntingly, watched her reaction and in the soft, deep tone he spoke: You know you don't look too good. I was going to have the joy to give you a bit of a scare, but... He shrugged and gave a half indecisive smile before continuing. ...I felt bad. My apologies Yuma lifted his neck above hers puffing out his chest in a showy motion. Yuma. It was a simple introduction.
Yuma wasn't normally so open to new wolves but it was his first day and the pride that swelled and grew with in him was hard not to show off.

Rem still found her surroundings alien to her, strange plants grew up from the ground, each with a scent strong enough to make her dizzy. The desert she roamed for so long was far behind her and for a moment she missed the comfort of being completely alone. The air dry and nothing but the yellow sand and stones that shifted beneath her, of course this was no time to be reminiscing. Rem licked her lips for a moment before slowing her pace, she hated the feeling of being watched…
she couldn’t smell an individual wolf here, the smells all around her burnt her gently nose and made her eyes water. She was about to stop when something shifted in front of her then almost as if she where hallucinating a large pinkish-golden colored wolf popped before her eyes. If it weren’t for the noise upon his arrival she might have thought him not real. She glared at him for a moment still unsure of what exactly she should be doing. She flicked her ears and stepped back then watched as the wolf began to speak “you know you don’t look too good. I was going to have the joy to give you a bit of a scare, but… the male wolf smirked slightly giving a slight shrug before continuing “my apologies” I lowered myself slightly unsure whether to be offended, of course I didn’t quite fancy a surprise like the one he would have given. He lifted his head above mine and puffed out his chest "Yuma". He said clearly.
Something about him made Rem feel uncomfortable and strangely enough it wasn’t his eyes. He seemed strong but not an alpha, no… but… strange enough he seemed not wolf either but Rem couldn’t tell what gave her this odd feeling. She felt no need to submit to this wolf so with a slight smile she introduced herself “I am Duskdreamer, so named after my second pack but you my call me Rem” she bowed ever so slightly before ruffling the feathers on her wings, shaking some loose onto the damp earth. “I may look weak” she began, a smile slowly spreading across her features “but I am more then capable of holding my own in a fight so please, don’t act any differently because of appearances” her smile seemed somewhat malicious although it was unintentional.

Yuma smiled at her reaction, so she wasn't one to scare easily. Yuma decided that she had survived on her own for quite sometime. He respected her for that. He sat down when she accepted him as a real thing. When he puffed out his chest he wasn't looking for submitting, though Yuma always thought that loners should submit to any pack member regardless of rank. He wasn't one to enforce that personal rule. He wasn't Kerrigan, and this was Kerrigan's pack after all. It was Yuma's job, as part of this pack, to follow the Alpha's rules as seen fit. Yuma didn't want to find out what would happen if he didn't. He had been band from so many packs before this one, that playing by his rules now was not the way to go.
It was an odd gesture, her smile. It was as if it didn't fit her appearance. There was strength in her eyes and her smile was that of an intelligent politeness. Yuma nodded politely, as he often did, at her introduction. Rem He said, letting the name mix in the air along with the excited feeling he often got, when meeting a new person. He looked above him letting the sunset's rays reflect in spots upon his pink-orange pelt. His wet, light pink nose glistened as one ray set itself upon it. He took a deep breath letting the marsh air set around him comfortably. Rem He repeated as if trying to recall a memory of something.
Like...Rapid Eye Movement? Yuma wasn't sure if she would know exactly what he was talking about, but he recalled that in one of his teachings, when he was a human in the reservation, back home. His multi-colored eyes lost its excited luster, at the thought of home. Two years with out home, seemed like such a long time. He averted his attention to Rem as she began to stick up for herself.
Yuma let out a loud and hearty laugh. The one's that come from stomach and echo through the solar-plexus. He let it ring loud and carry through the weeping willows around them. Females were so eager to jump the gun, especially when they were talking to males. One of the few signs that a female was self-conscious about themselves and their surroundings. He looked in her eyes for a long moment and a small understanding smile crossed his face. You think I underestimate your abilities? Why! If everyone underestimated everyone else, and thought them better then others. I'm afraid that this would be one hostile world. No, underestimating is not what I do. Though if you thought you were a good fighter you would have already been at my throat by now. What made you hesitate my dear? Yuma always made others try and think about their actions it was one way that Yuma gave advice.
From his point of view he was doing good and still having fun while doing it.

“As in the deep sleep…” her last alpha had called her that, why she kept a name from that traitor she had no idea. Rem raised her brow slightly taking in the obscurity of her situation. Yuma seemed almost surreal, had travelling alone for so long caused her to become insane? She hoped it was true if only because she was feeling increasingly uncomfortable with each passing second. She began entwining her tails together and although she tried to avoid it her eyes often darted about for a good way to escape. Yuma began to laugh loudly and rem cringed away from the sound, she didn’t like how this wolf looked at her nor the way he smelt… You think I underestimate your abilities? Why! If everyone underestimated everyone else, and thought them better then others. I'm afraid that this would be one hostile world. No, underestimating is not what I do. Though if you thought you were a good fighter you would have already been at my throat by now. What made you hesitate my dear? Dear, she didn’t like that name… “I do not seek to spill blood with no reason” even as each word rolled of her tongue she knew that not one was true, she was more than willing to destroy another creature, the simple fact was… she was lonely… how could three little words seem so foreign in her vocabulary? “besides I doubt I would have been able to strike you, if I where to attack I think I would have needed to plan myself better, true?” she smirked slightly, somewhat to herself rather than the wolf standing so casually near her.
