It so quiet around. Excluding the small whistles from the wind as it brushed past the vast amount of trees. Karin’s ears twitched softly as the wind ran past them. A small smirk fell onto her black furred maw as she tilted her head toward the sky and the hood of the trees. Her bright sparkling sapphire eyes held a certain edge to them. Not a bad edge oh course, but a slightly mischievous edge. Calling the wind to her, it swirled around her. The winds own fingers running through her dark fur playfully. Grinning, she let out a soft bark before using the air to lift her off the ground. Her paws kicked playfully as she called the air to twirl her around. She glowed with happiness as the air spun her around slowly and peacefully.
Karin hadn’t done this in quite some time. She was fully grown now and trying to help around the dens as most of the subordinates did. Today though, she had done her chores and had quite a bit of free time. Playing around was exactly what she had on her mind. She extended her average sized black wings before tucking them back into her sides as the wind slowly sat her back on the ground. A small smirk found itself on her maw, her blue eyes still glowing. She couldn’t believe that she was still there. After all of those months… and Weylyn taking her in and practically adopting her. Hell, she called him ‘dad’ because that’s what he was to her.
However, she could take care of herself now…. And had been for a couple of weeks. Not that she didn’t mind oh course. Karin enjoyed knowing that she had been taught well and raised correctly. She still didn’t hunt for the pack, but she cared for the dens, making sure they were in tip top shape. Though that didn’t mean that she couldn’t hunt for herself, she just left it up to the males to do the hunting. They seemed to like that better anyway. Smirking to herself, she thought of Tyrome… Where was he anyway? She hadn’t seem in a couple of days. She let out a soft sigh, brushing one of her larger paws across the floor of the forest. Calling air to her one last time, she floated up a bit as it swam around her. Karin let out a carefree, joyous, soft laugh as she once again kicked her feet playfully and looked toward the sky.

The sunlight in the midafternoon was in its full blast effect. It rained down through the forest's trees, the leaves scattering across it. Underneath many of the oaks was the brute, its white pelt glistening. Sure, there were a few dirt patches here and there, but who's perfect nowadays? Anyway, the male wolf was laying down, paws in front. Those hind legs of his were sprawled out behind him, soaking up the sun. His head rested on his front paws, his ears erect. A slight yawn escaped him, and his eyes slowly opened. Ah, the wonderful sun. Always friggin up there. The creature had to squint his eyes a bit, as the rays were glistening his emerald hues. Slowly, but steadily, he stood up. Once up, he stretched out his limbs. Firs this front legs, then his hind legs. After getting a good wake-up stretch, he peered around in the forest. Scanning the area quickly, he figured nothing was wrong. Nothing was out of the ordinary here, actually, nothing ever was. It was so peaceful here, so quiet. He figured he'd go for a stroll in this lovely neck of the woods, and he did so. With another yawn, he set out, his ears still erect. Just incase anything picked up, right? Well, it did. His head fluttered a bit, and this was an indication that a creature, wolf, beast, etc., was in the area. Of course, this didn't help him identify it, so he wasn't sure what it was. Quickly, his orbs looked about, and his head was like a metal detector- beep, beep, beep. However, once a certain spot seemed to make his head twirl, he would go after it. And, so, he did. With ease, he leapt over the fallen logs and dodged the roots of the trees sticking out of the earth's soil like mountains. Sure, he didn't have wings, but his paws let him go wherever he pleased. He felt like he was flying by running as fast as he could; well, he wasn't running that fast right now, but it was a decent pace. In a matter of moments, he was in another part of the forest. This part was somewhat more clear than the other; and the wind here was accelerating. Growling a bit to himself, he looked up a bit, and saw the little Karin. The growling ceased, and a smirk played along that muzzle of his. Alright, she wasn't "little" anymore, but to him, she was. With a few sniffs, he sat down, his tail twitching from side to side. That scar on his right eye seemed to gleam under that tremendous sunlight like never before. Watching her for a bit, he chuckled to himself, enjoying the laughs she was erupting from her. "Having fun, huh?" His ears twitched a bit, and his right one flopped down, the earring dangling slightly. The air manipulation was great. He loved the power, but he loved his own too. Gave him a sense of pride, you know?

The air whistled past her ears in a soft song, along with the chirping of the birds and all those fancy nature sounds. However there was one sound that wasn't expected. The sound of Tyrome's voice startled her right out of the air. Letting out a soft yip, she landed on all fours, much like a cat, and laughed softly. Speak of the devil and he shall appear... or rather think of the devil.... Needless of all that jazz, Karin shook her fur loose before bounding toward Tyrome. "Tyrome! You're here!"
She tackled him to the ground in a playful manner, a very playful grin upon her maw. Her dark fur took in the sun light like a black hole as she rolled upon the ground. She laid on her stomach casually, her front paws ahead of her and her back paws splayed out behind her. "What brings you to this neck of the woods?" Karin asked casually, her voice soft and high pitched. She was rather curious as to how he had found her, then again, he had a way with finding her. He was like her big brother or something, always knowing where she was.
Karin sighed softly, contently. She was at ease, not a care in the world, which was odd for her, but good nonetheless. She needed to let loose and chill. And lucky for her, Ty was here to chill with her. She hadn't talked to him in ages, so they could catch up on some things.
