Karin licked her maw softly as Weylyn talked to her about the coyote. He didn't seem the friendliest, and Karin knew she should obey. Wey always had her best interest at heart. When Snowdrift came along Karin let out a very tiny yelp of excitement. They weren't the closest, but Karin really liked her. She was someone she could look up to. Karin could always look up to Wey, but he was a boy, so it wasn't the same.
As Snowdrift began talking to her, Karin sat down and listened intently as to not miss a thing. She grinned from ear to ear as Snowdrift said she wanted to be closer. Without double thinking it, Karin jumped up and threw her paws around Snow in a hugging manner. "Oh course we can be close!" She nuzzled against Snow and smiled up to her. She couldn't help but giggle as Snow asked her if she wanted to go on a small hunt. Of course she was hungry, she was always hungry. She ran outside beside Snow before slowing down ever so slightly.
Karin couldn't help but ponder what would happen if she told Snow what she had wanted to tell her for awhile now. And the same went for Weylyn. She licked her lips and decided to go for it anyway. "Snow? Even though we aren't that close, you're still like my momma... Like Weylyn is like my daddy. Would it hurt your feelings if I started... uhm.. calling you mom? Seeing as my parents are dead and such, I just thought maybe it would make us closer..." She looked up, a single happy tear escaping Karin's big blue eyes.

Shadow inhaled and growled. Now he felt the pain of Diamon's body. He glanced at his side, twisting in the darkness. That monstrosity had laid his side open, not wide but enough that his ribs could be seen. The wolf who's body he occupied whined in discomfort at the movements Shadow made. He growled silencing him, then seized on a mind tendril: Alaenia of Kilani....
Her ability will warp when she sees you... we will be able to strike her....
Harlequin?
For now, let her madness spread. We've done our part....
Diamon took control of the body and Shadow remained, if only to block the pain somewhat. He took a step forward, concentrating upon the whiteness of her coat, the hue of her eyes... The swish of her tail as she ran.... He let the will of being near her consume him and stepped forward, walking out of the trees further from the Oak Cave, between they and the masters of the Toko Forest.
He walked forward two paces and the blood loss and pain took it’s toll. He collapsed in a puff of breath and lay, exhausted and half coherent. He heard pawsteps and tried to turn, and gave in. He conserved his strength for his wound. Then he heard a howl and felt someone touch his side gently. He glanced around, eyes blurred and couldn’t understand why the white mass was swirling, until the night took hold. ______________________________________________________________
Kioshi and the pups ascended the otherside and Alaenia descended, gorging on the carcass. Once she had had her fill, she dug into the now thawing ground, scraping it up over the carcass to semi-hide it. The scent would alert the owners of these lands first. Then the scent of the rotting Svara would garner more attention. Alaenia ascended the other side of the gully and licked the faces of the pups. Thank the gods, known and unknown, for giving her guardianship when they could eat meat. That way, none of her meal would be lost. She needed the strength of the meat to heal her wounds the fool heart had left on her.
They stepped off again and continued through the forest south and west, skirting the plain's edge. Something was drawing her that way. She was unsure what it was, other then a long walk in unfamiliar territory.
She sniffed the air and smelled the scent of three others: two wolves and one very strange, yet familiar scent, a coyote. Alaenia growled and turned to Kioshi who nudged the pups between them. Coyotes were trouble. Alaenia returned to the frontal view.
“Coyote…” Alaenia hissed. Kioshi nodded.
“I know.” Alaenia growled and stepped forward, smelling blood. A dark form lay on the ground ahead of her. She recognized the form immediately. Her Shadow, her prospective mate…. She growled and raised her head high, howling into the woods for all to hear the call of help. She nudged his side and whimpered. He stirred and looked her over slightly, seeming half awake and half out cold. "The Shadow??"
"Send up the call!" Alaenia bared. Both she and Kioshi tipped there noses to the skies and let loose the calls of help. Kioshi was a fighter and defender and had heightened senses and could touch minds. Alaenia could freeze the waters but doing so would kill the Shadow. They needed help, even if it came from the pack they were intent on destroying.
OOC: HAHAHAH! *REVIVES*

Weylyn flicked his tail and twitched his audits in an attempt to remain as on guard as possible. He was unsure of where his betess was, so he took it upon himself as Gamma to investigate whatever trespassers were upon these lands.
He flicked his audits when a call hit his ears. His pupils grew wide at the call, unsure of what the call was about, but instantly springing into action like he so often did. He didn't want to leave his back to Coyote, but he was also not wanting to leave the call unanswered. He leaped ahead and sprang toward the source of the calls to find a group of wolves in the area.
"Hello? What was that call about? What's going on?" He looked at each of the wolves in turn... there were two yearlings present, and his eyes softened when he looked upon them. He was Gamma of this packland and if these wolves were intent on joining the pack, he would, assuming this femora was okay with it, take care of them and remain faithful to her packlands. ((No idea what to put... is that okay? xP))

OOC: Perfect, time to up the game. Toko's gettin' crowded. IC: Alaenia turned at the sound of pawfalls. She gazed up at a brute, or who she suspected to be the brute of the area. His entire belly was a shimmery white in color and extended to his maw as well as the top of his nose, on down to his tail where it wraps around it, leaving a strip of the dark grey on top almost as if it were a stripe to about 3/4 down his tail. His paws had a similar color in sock markings. The rest of his body is covered in a dark grey coat, almost as if it were a granite or slate in color. The only thing ordinary about his appearance is a solid star marking in the white color of his fur that rested in the center of his forehead. His eyes were a pure Silvery-blue and dark grey bird-like wings that match his dark grey coat framed his form. Alaenia felt the familiar mind touch of Kioshi as her fellow fae's mind reached out to touch the brute's mind. Kioshi hissed out the corner of her mouth. " He walks with Coyote, Shapeshifter... Illusionist," Kioshi said. Alaenia glanced to her comrade then turned towards the black brute who's side bleed in a light trickle. " Hello=? What was that call about? What's going on?" asked the brute. Alaenia gazed up at him again, spotting a raven flying about int he branches. She took a step forward, lying through her teeth. " I am Alaenia, alphess of this small and feeble pack. My brute, Shadow, was injured while hunting for our pups, Celadon and Tegari. We found him but he needs healing, quickly, before he passes to the Ancestors." " If it's healing that you need... Then I'm your best bet," came a voice from behind. Kioshi whirled, standing over the pups and Alaenia stood over her Shadow, both growling, fangs barred. The stranger, A black wolf with no real remarkable markings, but an iridescent purple, green sheen to his coat, stood on a massive root overlooking the group. Perched upon his shoulder, was a raven. The raven rose and took flight, circling the group. " How can you help him!?" Alaenia growled. The stranger stepped forward, casually walking down the root. " I can heal him. Raven, gather the herbs." With the command, the raven circled a final time and left the group. " I know plants and rocks that will help. If you will let me, Fae..." he bowed his head to Alaenia. Kioshi growled lower still at his closeness to the pups. " Then help him stranger... but know this, if he dies... you will have me to answer to," Alaenia turned to the brute on the hill. " Will you provide us shelter until he is well again? Then we will be on our way, I swear to the Ancestors, we will leave you when his wound heals." _______________________________ Arroughs grinned slightly as Raven landed on the log before him. The duo had been together since Raven had broken his wing horribly and agreed, after his healing to stay with him. Now Raven had a smell fish clutched in his talons. Arroughs grinned broadly, the scars on his face making it a sickening sight, but his eyes displayed a kind soul shining through. Raven let the fish lie and took flight, scouting the forest for his friend. Arroughs began to eat his meager ration as a call went up, a help call from a pack. As he finished the fish, Raven landed on the edge of the log. Arroughs greeted him. " Two faes, two pups, and one brute. The brute is dying... Wounded by a bear by the look of it." " Where?" " This way!" Raven said, taking flight. He led Arroughs back to the hallow of wolves that he had circled not so long before.

Weylyn hated to see other wolves hurt, but he hated more to put his family in danger... he wanted to help, but he had his family to think about as well. He searched through his mind and came to a final conclusion. He would let them stay on the lands, though it wasn't really his call. He raised his maw to the air to try to find where his Betess had disappeared to in order to have her make the call.
A howl echoed across the lands as Weylyn called for his Betess of the Toko Forest. He hoped she would hear his call and come, for he was only Omega... pupsitter... and it wasn't his call to make on allowing others to join the lands or even stay upon the lands.
"I've just called for one of my superiors... when she arrives, she will be able to tell you if you may stay upon these lands... as it is, it is not my call. However, should she not show up, I will make the call, but I have to see if I can get her here first." He looked around quickly before catching the scent of another brute. He said he could heal the brute who lay bleeding, and Weylyn knew there were wolves out there who could do such things... but when he spoke of herbs and stones, this caused him to double think on the type of healing this brute knew of.

she woofed, making the order unsharp and flowing, as was her way. "Healer, you need not worry yourself over this wolf. It is a simple healing that needs non herbs or stones," she said, wondering what stones could be used for. She stepped forward once more, pacing toward the injured one. She leaned down, not fearing for herself or the reaction to those around her, and touched the wolf's pelt with her nose. Her eyes gleamed blue, the pupils disappearing and she and the other glowed a minute before the injuries started to mend. It was a short time when she lifted her head again and turned, padding back out of their group without another word. "Now," she woofed, flicking her tail and meeting every new creatures eyes, one by one, "what do you ask?"ooc - I hope this post is okay. I kinda got confused since everyone has their own agenda in this roleplay.[/ul][/blockquote]

Snowdrift was sitting there licking her paws & wondering what to do. Karin then looked at her and said Snow? Even though we aren't that close, you're still like my momma... Like Weylyn is like my daddy. Would it hurt your feelings if I started... uhm.. calling you mom? Seeing as my parents are dead and such, I just thought maybe it would make us closer..."!!!!!! Snow didn't know exactly how to react, but she reacted alright. She started to yodal out a happy song. She rushed up to Karin & kissed her on the cheek. "I love you babygirl, & that will never change. I will always be here to protect you."
With that she smiled and hugged her daughter. She was happy, but in the back of her mind, all she could think of was that her mate was out there alone w/ a coyote. Her sworn enemy.
Snow was getting worried and thinking to herself... "What if that wretched coyote is hurting him? It that coyote puts ONE scratch on my mate i'll bite out that stupid mangey mutts throat!!!"
Without realizing it, Snow was growling out loud. She stopped as soon as she realized it. She realized that by growling she might frighten her babygirl, so she went over to her & hugged her.
"Babygirl, do me a favor, NEVER go near that coyote unless I am there or your father. Okay. Please promise me this!!!!"
She waited for an answer, then she fluffed up her fur and playfully tackled her pup. Always being gentle not to hurt her.
"You're it!" She bellowed, & with that she playfully bounded a few feet away.
