My stomach grumbled in annoyance, I was hunrgry, I hadn't eaten in a couple days. I looked toward the waterfalls, with the light shining through them it was quite bright for a cave, I wondered if the moon did that too. I trotted over to Masina, "Would you like to come hunting with me?" I asked her. I admired her markings of gold upon her face, body and winds. It was almost angelic if you thought about the coloring together. ' I should introduce myself to the other wolves' I thought to myself 'they should know I'm the new alphess, I hope they aprove'
I'm wasn't very sure of myself, maybe because my family abandoned me. I'm always wanting others to like me and approve of the decisions I makes as alphess now

Masina smiled as the new alphess approached her. She gave a friendly bow in a respectful manner and raised her head up to listen to her words. She was still unsure of herself and Masina was going to let her know that things were fine and that the pack would love her. The Fukai Waterfall, from her experience, was the nicest pack around and no other pack could match to it's kindness.
She smiled and heard her Alphess' stomach growl. Hers growled the tiniest bit and she nodded. "Sure, I'll go hunting with you. And you don't have to worry about the pack... the wolves in this pack are the nicest you'll find out of any within the lands of Aelyn... trust me." [/b] She gave a small chuckle that had a nervous sound to it as she remembered her brother of the Mountains and what he had done to their family and their old pack. She hated thinking about it and hated the idea that he could know she was alive at any moment and could very well be ambushed by him or even killed by him at any given point if she didn't keep her guard constantly up. "What would you like to hunt today?"[/b] She smiled as she stood and shook the dirt from her pelt. She gazed around the cave as she took in the pack members and watched for any other wolves that might have been interested in hunting with them.[/blockquote]

"I was thinking deer, maybe?" I was so hungry I could eat a bear! Not that I would...but I could! I chuckled to myself. I looked around noticing there wasn't any kill around.
"Maybe we could bring back a few rabbits as well, for the rest of the pack?" I was raring to go, my tummy growled again. I looked away embarassed for not hunting for myself earlier.
"They are, all the wolves I've ever met haven't been this nice." I thought back to my mothers and fathers packs, the hurt of abandonment was still fresh in my heart. I hope no pup EVER has to go through that. I'll make sure of it. "Shall we go now?" I asked

Masina smiled and nodded, flicking her tail to rid it of the last few specks of dirt that littered it, and waited for Cindershock to lead the way. She smiled to herself and looked around once more for any other wolves who wanted to join them, and then looked at Cindershock once more, waiting for her to lead the way outside the den area. She was so used to leading, but now that Cindershock was there, she could take a break and allow the Alphess to do the Alphess work and she could finally do the position she was in... Betess.
"You've yet to meet one of our more interesting members of the pack... A pup that is wise far beyond her years... her name is Celestia. She is really quite remarkable... and she's growing at an alarming rate... I've never seen anything like it." [/b] She smiled and rested her large, gold and white wings to her ribcage and blinked twice with her icy sapphire eyes.[/blockquote]

"Who, is her mother and father?" I began to lead the way out of the den as I talked. I broke into a run with my wings flat against my back, I didn't want to fly, not right now.
My violent purple gaze took in all that was around me. I tilted my head up slightly as I ran to catch scents. "I'm very excited to meet her" I called back to Masina
((who plays her?))
I scented a rabbit, and slowed down. "I smell rabbit," I said "shall we catch it for the pack?"

((Celestic... And you should try to make your posts a little longer and bold your speech... It makes roleplaying much smoother and easier )) Masina smiled and chased after Cindershock, keeping in her stride rather well. She smiled as she held her wings to her sides as well and sniffed the air. She smelled the rabbit too.
"It doesn't hurt to have a little extra kill at the den area... let's just not over do it... we don't want waste. As for Celestia... that's yet another remarkable thing about her... She has no parents... She came from the stars. She doesn't know much about where she came from or what her purpose is, but she knows things that you wouldn't think would be fathomable. Not to mention, she has a familiarity about her for me that I can't quite explain... She's just something I've never seen before." [/b] SHe knew this sounded crazy, but it was all true. Having said all of that, she hushed her voice and remained very quiet in order to hunt and to not scare off the rabbit they had both scented. She lifted her nose to the air to catch the scent of a second animal... another rabbit not so far off... and whispered to Cindershock. "I'm going to get that other rabbit that I smell... then we can get a deer and call it a good hunt." She snuck silently off, her pawsteps seeming to hardly grace the ground as she smiled and prepared to leap onto her unsuspecting prey. Luckily, she was standing downwind of the rabbit. She tensed her muscles and waited for her moment. When the moment came, she swiftly and gracefully leaped forward and landed directly on target. With a swift bite to the neck, she killed of her prey in a quick and painless manner. She slowly pranced back to Cindershock.[/blockquote]

((darn it, I knew I forgot something when I posted that, I just couldn't remember what! lol))
No parents, wow.
I went after the other rabbit, I got crouched down so it could not see me. It was a plump rabbit, brown and white. I stalked closer to it, my paws barely going off the ground so the rabbit wouldn't hear me with it's large ears.
My muscles tensed getting ready to pounce, I crawled just a little bit more. I pushed off the ground with my hind legs in one powerful leap, I landed on the rabbit. 'YES' I thought in my head. I bit it's neck swiftly killing it.
I trotted as gracefully as I could with this rabbit in my mouth back to the spot where I was, and waited for a couple seconds until Masina came.
"Okay, do you want to take these back to the den now, or bury them until we get the deer?" I asked. The smell of the rabbit was making my mouth water, I couldn't wait for that deer.

Masina smiled. She set her kill down on the ground and spoke again. "Well, what do you think we should do? You are the Alphess, so it would be within your jurisdiction to dictate what we do with what and how things should go." [/b] She wasn't being smart... she was just trying to help the new Alphess into her position and help her to see the choices she could make... and helping her to come into her inner strength to be able to take the position she had claimed. Sure, Masina was Betess, but she couldn't be making the decisions all the time... as Alphess, it was Cindershocks job to take the lead and make the decisions. She smiled again and sat calmly, keeping her eyes, ears and nose searching for any scent of deer nearby. She knew the routes the herd usually took, but she wanted to see if Cindershock had learned anything of the lands yet. That was yet another thing the Alphess needed to know.. her own lands and the exact location of every border and scent marker. Masina had kept up with the scent markers, but now that there was an Alphess, it was up to Cindershock to continue to do so.[/blockquote]

"I think we should drop them off at the den before we catch a deer" I nodded to myself, yes this was the right decision. I picked my rabbit back up and began walking back to the den. I paid attention to where I was going and tried to find scent markers.
When we made it back to the waterfall I went around, watching where I stepped so I wouldn't slip and fall. I dropped the rabbit in a corner away from the falls. I stretched and yawned wide.
I started back out of the den and tilted my head once again, trying to catch the scent of a deer anywhere. Once I caught a scent I trotted towards it hoping it was within our borders. It was I sat back on my haunches and waited for Masina to catch up so we could go after it together.

Masina smiled and picked up her kill, following Cindershock with ease and grace. She took to the skies when it came to go into the den area and flew straight through the waterfall. She loved doing this, especially with the way the heat was going lately. She smiled to herself and set her kill in the area that was set aside for any kill the pack might have gained. She then trotted to the edge of the waterfall and the entrance to the den area and burst from the waterfall in a flurry of water droplets. She easily glided through the sky and landed down on the ground near where Cindershock was.
"I'm glad to see you've found the herd already. Shall we then?" [/b] She smiled again and shook dew drops from her fur, just far enough away from Cindershock to not get her wet with them, and padded forward, ready to continue in the hunting trip and for the chance to feed the pack. Masina loved to help the pack and to help other wolves, and hunting was just one way of doing so. You never knew when there would be a new wolf in the lands that would be hungry and looking for a nice meal and a place to sleep.[/blockquote]

"Yes" I replied and trotted ahead, getting in front of Masina. I trotted faster as the scent of the herd grew stronger.
I crouched down low to the ground much like I had done for the rabbit and whispered to Masina, "We'll get the one on the farthest right, away from the herd" and crept foward slowly. The deer grew bigger as I got closer.
They were in a small clearing, full of grass, flowers, and sunshine. It was a beautiful place. It seemed almost wrong to kill in such a meadow.
I saw a twig ahead and made sure I didn't step on it, I did not want to alert the deer to our presence. I stepped over it with my fore legs and hind legs. I hoped Masina saw it.

She had been hunting this terrain a long time on her own without much help from the pack members, not that she minded. She enjoyed providing for the pack, but was also a little glad to have company while hunting the deer. Granted, she could easily take them down on her own with her powers, but company was always nice... and it would be good to kill the deer the old fashioned way again.
She stalked closer, easily stepping over the twigs and branches that littered the ground. She had hunted these grounds so many times before, it was second nature to her. She came up to Cindershock's side and smiled. "Take the lead. I'll be right behind you." [/b] She smiled as she flicked her tail and tensed her muscles, ready to spring and pounce... or even do what her alphess wished of her to do in order to bring down the target prey. She paused and waited, her body moving only with the motion of her breathing, and even that was barely noticeable.[/blockquote]

Eden wandered through the forest until she came upon her Alphess and Betess. She trotted her way to Masina's side quietly so she didn't spook the herd of deer. "Mind if I join you on your hunt?"[/color]she asked, whispering. She hadn't been on a hunt yet as a pack member of the Fukai Waterfall and she was eager to do so.
The fae looked to both Masina and Cindershock, hoping they would allow her to join. She had hunted with her previous pack so it wasn't a completely new exerience to her, but she wanted the opportunity to rove herself to the pack. Especially to Masina and Cindershock. The small group had only known each other for a short amount of time, but already Eden trusted the two femmes with her life.

"I don't, but lets get this deer before they just leave on their own free will!" I let out a little quiet laugh.
I tensed my haunches getting ready to spring up to the deer. I pounced at it teeth opening in a silent snarl. I landed on it's back and latched on it's back with my claws. My mouth watered at the taste of it. I looked to Eden and Masina to see how they fared, the deer was dead, so someone must have done something to it's throat.
I looked up, and as to be expected the rest of the deer had run away the moment they saw us. Lightning crackled at my feet and fire ran around my wings when I opened them up for a stretch.
After I had stretched my wings I re-folded them and looked to the other two fea's.

After Cinder launched herself onto the back of the deer, Eden had locked her jaws around one of the deers front legs, preventing it from escape. Her jaws stayed firm as the deer tried to buck the both of the faes off. White fangs pierced the skin as it came crashing down. It tried to wiggle free, but the three wolves were to much for it.
Eden's mouth watered excessively as she released the deer's leg. The femme licked her chops backing away from the corpse. She sat back on her haunches and wrapped her tail around her paws, waiting. Her ears flicked back and forth as she watched her pack mates. "That wasn't so hard."[/color]

Masina had hunted many times on her own and the hunting seemed almost effortless as she padded forward and launched herself right for the throat for a quick and painless kill for the prey. She bit into the jugular vein and gave her head one swift jerk to attempt to break the deer neck.
Once the creature had fallen, she backed up a couple steps and licked the blood from her lips to keep her pristine white fur clean. She looked to her packmates and smiled. "We make a great team! I'm sure this will be plenty to feed the pack for a couple days at least." [/b] She smiled as she relaxed her large wings momentarily before stretching them once more and resting them.[/blockquote] ((I have no idea what's up with my posts... I have severe writers block))

Eden's tail flicked back and forth as she watched her Alphess and Betess. Her mouth watered at the sight and smell of the now dead deer. "Should we take it back now or are we going to hunt for another?"
She scratched her muzzle with her silver-colored paw as she stood to move closer to the group. The fae returned to a seated position at Cinder's side.

((Same with me Eden!))
"Let's take it back now" I said with the two rabbits and the deer it would be plenty to feed the pack for at least a couple days. I didn't want the food to go bad because no one was hungry enough to eat it.
I sat and scratched behind my ear with one paw. I picked up part of the deer and waited for the others to do the same so we could take it back to the den.

Eden picked up the other end of the corpse when she saw Cinder take up one. Together they were able to lift the deer into the air. If possible, Eden's mouth began to water even more as blood seeped into and on her muzzle. The fae cut her eyes to Masina to see if she was still with them as they walked back to the den. 'This will make a wonderful meal.' she thought.

((If nobody minds me joining in Hehe))
The steady rise and fall of his regulated breathing could be seen clearly from his curled up position. His wings also rose and fell gently, as if carried off by some tiny gust of wind. His eyes were shut, his muzzle resting on his front two paws as his back paws were tucked beneath his beautiful golden wings. If not for his calm, deep breathing Zephyr was the image of a statue of a winged wolf, his ears flattened elegantly and his tail wrapped around his paws.
A fly buzzed around the den, landing every now and then to feel for food and then take off again. One such landing spot happened to be Zephyrs pink nose, and he sneezed, waking up with a shake of his muzzle. He opened his honey coloured orbs sleepily, yawning widely before flicking his ears slightly to wake himself up a little more.
His tail thumped the ground once, the cream tip sending a tiny cloud of dust into the air. He unfurled his wings as he stood, stretching by arching his back and yawning again, his hind leg pawing the ground in an odd stretching twitch.
"It appears I have overslept" He stated to no-one in particular, the familiar confident smile edging across his features. He had gotten back late last night from roaming and could only fall asleep at the dens entrance, and he felt bad because he had yet to meet his new Alphess. What a lack of gentlemanly tactics, he had hoped to catch her in the morning, but it seemed he messed that up as well.
