he told her, long ears flickering like wings. He tilted his had at her tones. "I am from many places, alphess. And none of them are here," he said, lifted his head to watch her in a wise air he held perfectly. He watched another wolfess walk out. All these females. He wondered where the males of this pack were. Maybe it was just small. He gave his tail a greeting wave to her, and the nodded his head to the third fae. He held no fear, even though they ringed themselves around their leader, facing off with him. They held no evil plans, and neither did he so he had naught to feel fear about. "I've told you my name. Can I know yours? And to what land have I come to..?" he mused in a polite tone, not really bothering to make sure it was okay to ask such questions. He was rude, he just wasn't very aware.[/blockquote][/ul]

Masina smiled at the brute. Even though he was strange in appearance, he still had a nice air and feel about him, which just added to the fact that she never cared where a person came from, what they looked like or what have you, she was always there to help others and prove to the world that every wolf had some ounce of good to them.
She sat calmly next to her Alphess and spoke out of habit more than anything. "My name is Masina, Betess of these lands. You are in the Fukai Waterfall Packlands, one of many packs that dwell within the land of Aelyn." She realized she had spoke up and turned to face her Alphess for a moment. "Sorry about that... old habits kicking in. I've only grown so used to introducing myself and explaining a bit about the lands before you came along to claim the lands as your own. Please forgive me." She smiled apologetically at her Alphess before turning her gaze back to the brute. She hoped Cindershock wouldn't mind her taking the lead and speaking to the new brute... it was just habit for her and she couldn't help but be vocal and speak to any new wolves that came by. It was both her nature and her way of doing things.[/blockquote]

"It is fine Masina" I spoke to her before turning to the giant wolf called Durion. "My name is Cindershock, alphess of these lands, you may den here"
I doubted he could see me at all, those eyes, though they couldn't see held a mysterious, wise air about them. I looked him over, he looked as if he hadn't groomed himself in a long time. She looked to Edena dn Masina, her pack members. It felt wierd to even think that, her pack members. I turned back to face Durion, a smile apearing, showing pink gums, tounge, and shiny white teeth.

Eden looked to Masina as she joined them giving her a smile. The pack was finally coming together.
Turning back to the male, she listened to the conversation taking place. Durion's voice held experience and wisdom, probably more so than Eden knew. Eden's silver eyes continued to gaze up and down the brute. He was definitely unique. His extra set of arms caught her attention every time they moved.
Eden returned her attention to Cinder when she offered to give Durion shelter. Her smile widened. She couldn't wait to get to know Durion. He was an elder wolf who had probably experienced much in his lifetime. The femme couldn't wait to hear his many stories and adventures.
After everyone had introduced themselves, Eden thought it best to introduce herself. Taking a step forward, she said,"And I am Eden. I, too, am a newcomer. Welcome to the Fukai Waterfalls."

((going to be short I have lost some of my muse))
As Eden introduced herself I let my mind slip into a thoughtful state. 'I'm alphess of the Fukai Waterfall pack, all the other pack members are kind and have smiles to give. And I just greeted my first new member. I'm sure Masina will help out, and together we could get all the wolves to warm up to the idea of me as alphess.'
I came out of my thoughtful stupor and grinned. 'What a day'

Eden turned her gaze to her Alphess. If it was possible, her smile widened. She nudged Cindershock with her muzzle, a nuzzle of affection and loyalty. "My Alphess, you have already attracted a new member for our great pack." The femme looked back to Masina and playfully hopped to the Betess. She nipped at Masina's ear and lowered her upper body to the ground, her tail wagging high in the air.
Everything was going wonderfully. All Eden wanted now was to enjoy her time with her new pack. Of course, that meant playing! The fae rolled over onto her back prompting the two femmes to join in the fun.

I got down on my chest with my rump in the air and pounced, with claws sheathed, at Eden. I landed on her and pinned her to the ground grinning the whole time.
I jumped up off her and ran a few steps away encouraging her to come after me.
I looked at Masina and smiled with teeth, I wanted her to play too.
My wings came unfurled and the fire around them sparkled as if it were laughing as well, and lightning around my feet crackled. I furled them back up and laughed grinning at Eden as I pranced around her playfully.

Eden wiggled beneath Cinder as she was pinned underneath by the Alphess. Once she was let loose, she leapt to her feet. The wolfess began laughing and began prancing around Cinder. With a leap, Eden landed on Cinder's back, nipping at her ears as she did so. She made small, playful growls as she tackled the Alphess to the ground.
The fae jumped off her quickly before she could be snagged by Cinder. Eden giggled as she started skipping around Masina. Landing in front of the Betess, she rolled onto her back again, but this time she used her silver-colored paw to bat at Masina's muzzle. Hopefully to prompt her into play.

I went after Masina too, hoping to goad her enough to play with us. I jumped on her back and batted her ears, then hopped off.I batted at Eden while she was on the ground for payback, and continued to mess with Masina.
I pranced a circle around her batting her everyonce and a while.
I growled playfully at the betess and laughed out loud as I watched Eden mess with her.

her murmured, taking her words in a proper hello others probably had not heard in many years. He tilted his head as the alphess spoke next. He spread his long, strange arms and tilted his head in a short bow. "And pleasure, Cindershock, alphess of this Waterfall Pack in the lands of Aelyn. Thank you for your kindness," he said, the slight word change making the sentence unrepeatitive even as his lyrics made it oh so different. He listened tot he third female and he waved his tail at her, hands curling up against his chest once again. "We shall get along fine then, packmate Eden," he offered back easily, his lips stretching into a jovial grin. And then the females were playing. The heat shapes moved, cavorting about in wild abandon. His smile softened and he gave a light, amused snort. He'd never done that. Too small he had been and unable to read the body signs of other wolves. Then too old. He sighed and let his rump touch the ground in a soft, silent, and steady sit. His legs gave a slight tremble, but it was brief and he ignored it except for the slight twitch of his extra arms. Ah, too be young. He felt light in his heart even as he watched them. Who needed legs to enjoy the day? He had a new place to stay and a lively bunch of fellows.[/blockquote][/ul]

I looked over too Durion, the cool, calm air around him, as he watched us make a fool of ourselves.
I batted once more at Eden before sitting down and watching the big male wolf.

As Cinder was sitting to catch her breath, Eden continued to bat her paws at Masina. While continuing her assault though, the fae looked over to Cinder and Durion. Both sat and watched. Leaving Masina alone for a moment, Eden rolled to her feet and trotted over to Durion.
Once again, Eden lowered her upper body to the ground while her tail stayed high in the air wagging. She cocked her head to the side and asked, "Durion? Wanna play with us? It'll be fun." The femme tried to prompt the elded wolf into play, but if he wasn't up for it, she wouldn't push him.

I watched Eden prompt the older wolf into play. Though he went down very quickly you could see his limbs quiver, almost in protest.
Eden would be happy she got him to play with her, 'I'm sure he won't play fight, but that is still playing!' I thought to myself, hoping Masina wasn't listening to me.
I stretched my wings again and yawned big and wide. I lowered myself to the ground and watched Eden and Durion interact. This is part of my pack!

Due to his age, Eden wouldn't be too rough with Durion. With a short woof, the wolfess latched onto one of the elder's ears with her maw. She tugged lightly, but enough to make Durion's head tilt slightly.
The fae made a few pur-like growling noises as a smile formed on her wolf face. She wanted to make Durion feel welcome, by the only way she knew how: playing. To her, playing showed trust and affection among pack mates. The she-wolf would play with everyone, even the old.
Eden would leave it up to Durion to decide when enough was enough. Because she was younger, she had much more energy than Durion did and she was possibly stronger. If he said enough, the fae would accept his decision. The whole point was to make him feel welcome, to succeed in her task was all that mattered.

Masina held back in the playing antics and when the wolves tried to get her to play, she gave an apologetic nod and smiled. She hadn't ever truly played, having had her family ripped away from her so young and having to grow up far quicker than any wolf should. She wasn't the type to play that often and with all that was going on in the lands and all that was going on within her mind, she had no intentions on playing all for the fact there was so much for her to deal with right now. She wasn't up to playing.
She turned to Durion and smiled. She calmly adjusted her large wings and curled her tail around her forepaws as she sat gently upon the dirt and grass they stood upon. The waterfalls crashing waves sent a mist into the air that drifted lazily across the lake that provided fresh fish and a cool relief to the pack wolves. The gentle waves licked the sandy shore of the immense lake as she let her mind wander for a few moments while the other wolves were occupied. Once she realized the pup had moved over to Durion, she smiled and watched the elderly wolf amuse the pup by attempting to play. There was so much life in the pack once again... but Masina was so unsure as to how long it would last.
She watched her Alphess lay down and watch the young wolf, Eden, play with the elderly wolf Durion and she smiled. All of the wolves seemed to be adjusting and getting along well, which was a great sign and a way for Masina's mind to be a little more at ease. At least they were becoming a close-knit pack... that was a little more relief for her mind, knowing they were finally a pack that would hopefully stick together. She just wasn't sure if her "curse" as she'd come to call it, would steal them away from her once again, much like what happened with the previous alphas and also with what she had begun to think with Baztek. She sighed inwardly and silently to herself as she flicked her tail and continued to watch the pack that seemed to be growing before her eyes.
